Currently: As the core falls to the Galactic Empire, Cora guides Ukatis into the High Republic. Shortly after their assault that lead to the destruction of the Death Star III, Cora discovers that she is pregnant. As the spent galaxy allows them a moment of quiet, she and her husband, Makko Vyres, celebrate Life Day and their impending new arrival during a Ukatian festival.
A proud woman of noble lineage, Corazona's journey as a Jedi was abruptly stalled when her father forced her into an arranged marriage with the crown prince of Ukatis. After a year of suffering under the violent, controlling hand of her husband, Price Horace fell to his death from the open window of his study.OVERVIEW
With her innocence stolen, Corazona's path back to the Jedi was not linear. She zigged and zagged, took one step forward and three steps back. For a short time, she found herself in the arms of a Sith Lord. It was not until the Mandalorian Enclave attacked Ukatis did she act, returning to defend her homeland and subsequently cementing her renewed presence among the Jedi. Rising to the rank of Jedi Knight, Cora served as the Caretaker of First Knowledge on the New Jedi Order's Council prior to the fall of the Galactic Alliance.
As the core fell to the Galactic Empire, Corazona aligns herself and Ukatis with the High Republic. She establishes a Jedi enclave on Ukatis with a focus on teaching healing and plant surge, and continues to grow her expertise in purification.
Of average height for a human female, with the lean build of a Jedi. Delicately structured facial features befitting of her noble heritage, pale skin and blue eyes. Tinted moisturizer usually applied to even her complexion, along with a light dusting of blush and a coat of mascara. Corazona intercepting her father's hand during the Mandalorian Enclave's invasion of Ukatis.The eldest of nine children from an aristocratic family on Ukatis, Corazona was raised rigidly under a heavy-handed father to excel as a proper Noblewoman.
In this era of war, the ruling monarchy of Ukatis has expressed interest in joining the Galactic Alliance for protection. Cora's house quickly offered up their force sensitive daughter as an envoy, seeking greater power both domestically and with the Alliance. Ever dutiful, Cora acquiesced and became a member of the NJO where she represents not only House Ascania, but the interest of Ukatis as a whole.
A tireless and earnest worker, Cora was initially sheltered regarding the greater galaxy. As a young noblewoman Cora believed that it is her social obligation to better herself in order to protect her people, thus she valued the ideals of nobility and obedience over her own personal feelings and desires.

, Cora's training as a Jedi progressed well. Countless missions and battles against the surging tide of the Dark side allowed her to hone her skills and forge steadily strengthening bonds with her comrades. An unpleasant encounter with fellow Padawan,
Makko Vyres
, began to bud into a romantic relationship between the two. Unfortunately, Cora's time as a Jedi of the Order came to a temporary end with her disastrous engagement and ensuing marriage to Prince Horace von Cholmondeley III of Ukatis.
Though her marriage was brutal, leaving the young Princess scarred physically and mentally, the young royal poured her efforts into establishing equitable healthcare in Ukatis' rustic provinces. After investigating strange rumors of crazed forest creatures and dying lands that shook the countryside, Cora enlisted the help of the New Jedi Order to cleanse a dark side nexus that had developed at the site of a civilian slaughter during Ukatis' past civil war. Shortly after the nexus was purified, Cora and her husband engaged in a terrible spat that resulted in her pushing Prince Horace from a window to his death. Exiled from her home, Cora returned to Coruscant to recover.
After being captured alongside
Shan
by the Sith on Thule, Cora found herself in the arms of the enigmatic Sith Lord,
Darth Nwul
. He offered Cora the chance to become powerful at his side, but before she can sort through her feelings for him, the Mandalorian Empire launched an attack on Ukatis. Desperate to save her home, Cora departed Thule with Shan and makes her way to Ukatis where she reunited with Makko and her brother,
Dominick von Ascania
. The trio lead civilians though an underground passage to safety, and while Cora and Makko were able to head off the Mandalorian threat in the tunnels, Ukatis burned.
After the devastating attack on her home, Cora resolved to further her Jedi training. Despite her exile, she covertly returns to Ukatis several times to assist in rebuilding. Mending old relationships and forging ahead proves difficult, but she gradually dissects her relationship with Nwul and leans on those around her for support. As she and Makko work to rebuild their relationship anew, Cora becomes firmly set in her path and rises to the rank of Jedi Knight.
Shortly after being knighted, Cora leverages her family name in order to draw aid from around the galaxy to benefit Ukatis. With the help of many generous donors, she establishes a refugee camp that eventually blossoms into a permanent settlement. While her relationship with the royal family is complicated, she begins to question her role on Ukatis, especially given the looming succession crisis with Prince Horace's death. Despite the controversial Equal Rights Act, Ukatis elects to rejoin the Alliance. Now, with the core embroiled in war, Cora returns to the New Jedi Order to push back against the Dark Empire's deadly march.
As the Dark Empire threatens the core, Cora crosses paths with several of their agents. The Dark Empire launches a deadly strike on Coruscant, during which Cora and Mandalorian
Jenn Kryze
work together to defend the temple from Sith. During the battle, a Dark Jedi known as
Isar du Vain
manipulates Cora's memories, pinning the brutality of her marriage on the face of her lover. The Alliance emerges victorious, but they soon contend with those who would take advantage of the chaotic aftermath in an attempted slave raid.
As Coruscant begins the process of rebuilding, Cora takes on the role of instructor at the Jedi Academy, notably leaning classes in plant surge, etiquette, and Force imbuement.
While attempting to defend New Cov from Darth Neferon's hostile takeover, she is captured by Sith Inquisitor
Kasir Dorran
and taken to Bailiff Station. After being presented to Sith Lord
Darth Strosius
, the unimpressed prophet commands Kasir to sever her right hand. For several weeks, Cora trained under Kasir at his enclave on Mustafar, biding her time until she engaged him in a duel. After severing his forearm and returning a bout of Sith lightning at him, she managed to narrowly escape by stealing a transport and charting a course off Mustafar.
While she continues to explore teaching, Cora also privately explores her familial ties to a long-dead Sith Lord inhabiting an ancient lightsaber. Though Darth Ukatis attempts to corrupt her, she regards him with measured curiosity, more interested in her family's history than his offer of tainted power. A chance meeting with
Darth Malum of House Marr
reveals to the pair that they are blood cousins, and while meditating in a Force nexus, Cora is granted the disturbing vision of her late grandparents adopting her mother from the Marr family.
Once returned to Coruscant, Makko helps to untangle the corrupted memories left in the wake of Isar's mental assault. With her mind now at ease, the pair becomes engaged on the eve of the following Life Day. Soon afterward, Cora joins fellow Knight

in being inducted into the Jedi Council as the Caretaker of First Knowledge.
After escaping captivity on Mustafar where

attempted to mold her into an acolyte, Cora returns to Coruscant with a prosthetic hand. She resumes teaching at the academy, and is subsequently inducted into the Jedi Council as the Caretaker of First Knowledge. On the eve of Life Day, she and
Makko Vyres
became engaged and eventually marry.
Shortly thereafter, the Sith-backed Summer Rain Rebellion struck into the heart of Ukatis, leading Cora toward the heartbreaking decision to execute her own corrupted father in order to maintain planetary stability. In the aftermath, a new king is crowned, and Cora remained planetside to guide the rebuilding of her home and ensure a peaceful transition of power.
Rising from the shadows, a reborn Galactic Empire captures Coruscant, leaving the Alliance reeling and the Jedi scattered. During the assault of Arkania, Cora fails to excise a smoke demon from
Voldran Molf
, leaving her grievously injured and bound to a hoverchair. While recovering, she returns to Ukatis to tend to a small Jedi enclave focused on healing. With the Galactic Alliance's power waning, Ukatis ultimately makes the decision to secede from the Galactic Alliance and join the High Republic.
