ORD PROVIDENCE'S FESTIVAL OF RAIN

7BUIiLq.png

The domed cities of Ord Providence have flared to life with celebration as the biennial Festival of Rain begins, a week long event that sees water poured down from the tops of the planet's domed cities to recreate a phenomenon from their home world of Godo, a reoccurring storm that rejuvenated life on their ancient home. Even in a hostile new environment, the Godoan people have a love for the water, seeing it as a blessing from their all-powerful and ever watchful Goddess, with even artificial rain bringing life back to their domed world. People from all walks of life gather to partake in the Parade of Spirits, with inviting off-worlders to visit and partake in the festivities either in the comfort of the dry interior of the New House of the Goddess, where a large feast has been prepared for the entire city of Provinia to partake in, or to brave the downpour and join the people in their traditional observance of this deeply spiritual holiday.

And while the capital and it's temple are full of life, something dark begins to brew below...

SINGING IN THE RAIN

The Parade of Spirits has begun! The main street of travel leading to the New House of the Goddess is overflowing with celebrating Godoans and travelers alike. Covered market stalls, vibrant umbrellas, and colorful rain coats bring the city of Provinia to life. The main parade itself is starting, with Prov Godoans from across the planet, parasol dancing and singing their way through the rainy streets of their capital heading towards their holy place of worship.

LIFE AND REJUVINATION

In the New House of the Goddess a feast has been prepared, a sharing of the season's bounty with all of her people. The Senator of Ord Providence, Valette Puritis Yumia, and the Elder Council of the planet have opened this sacred feast to the public, inviting their allies to share in the wealth and stability of their home.

Silas didn't normally come out to events like this, yet every now and then he was willing to let his hair down and take time off.

It was the rain festival, an event that invited everyone from all corners of the galaxy to celebrate. He couldn't help but feel curious and take part compared to the other events he had been invited to. Rain was a regular feature, so it wasn't like he wasn't it was going to be anything new for him. He was just content seeing happy faces and the culture it brought with the festival itself. In order to see all that though, he was going to need to wear a decent raincoat.

For a short while he quietly watched the parade go by and clapped casually to the show they were putting on. It was entertaining and all, but he couldn't stay out here all day. The elder of the planet had opened up his house to the public to join in on his feast and there was no way Silas was going to turn down some grub.

Walking through the entrance, he ran a hand through his wet hair and gave polite nods to everyone who caught his gaze. The feast looked plentiful as he walked in to grab an empty seat, as well as the people who were already digging into the food that was on offer. Sighing to himself, he took off his raincoat and rolled up his sleeves to prepare for eating.

Sooner or later, a familiar face was going to turn up and have the same idea...

Kai'lyn's arrival in the midst of the Festival of Rain was like a solitary drop joining a vibrant and colorful ocean of celebration. His eyes widened as he took in the lively scene, the covered market stalls, the bustling crowds, and the sea of colorful umbrellas that painted the streets. For someone who had spent a significant amount of time in isolation, this burst of communal joy was both overwhelming and enchanting.

As he navigated through the bustling streets, his keen Togruta senses were bombarded by a symphony of sights, sounds, and scents. The vibrant fabrics of Godoan attire, the musical laughter, and the scent of rain-soaked earth and various foods blended into a sensory experience unlike any other he had encountered before.

He found himself drawn to the Parade of Spirits, captivated by the graceful dances and harmonious chants of the Prov Godoans. Their movements told stories of culture and tradition that spoke to his own primal instincts. With a sense of reverence, he observed the spectacle, allowing himself to be carried away by the rhythm of their performance.

As the parade progressed towards the New House of the Goddess, Kai'lyn's curiosity led him to explore the heart of the celebration. His amethyst-colored skin seemed to shimmer in the rain as he moved through the crowd, his gaze flitting from one detail to another. Market stalls displayed an array of colorful fruits, exotic spices, and intricately crafted ornaments. The scents wafting from these stalls were an intoxicating blend of sweet, savory, and spicy aromas, a sensory journey that ignited his appetite.

And then he found it—a tray of ice lemon cookies, a delicacy he had never encountered before. The fragrance of citrus and sweetness enticed him, and his mouth watered at the thought of trying this newfound delight. His instincts took over as he approached the tray, his head tilting slightly as he examined the cookies with a mixture of curiosity and desire.

Unable to resist, he reached out and gingerly picked up one of the cookies, marveling at its delicate texture and appearance. With a cautious but excited expression, he took a small bite, and the explosion of flavor on his taste buds was nothing short of euphoric. The tangy lemon, the subtle sweetness, and the cool sensation of the ice filling were unlike anything he had ever experienced.

In that moment, the world around him seemed to fade as he savored the cookie, his eyes closing in sheer pleasure. When he opened them again, he found himself holding an empty tray—unbeknownst to him, he had devoured the entire contents in his newfound passion for these treats.

How interesting. A festival all about the idea of rain? How...delightful. Rain was not something the Half-Nagai was too experienced with. Of course, she had seen it a few times in her life but it wasn't something she had ever been able to truly enjoy. Which is why she had decided to come to this planet for the celebration. Of course, some might assume that she had some kind of ulterior motive to this. She was a Sith after all, and she always enjoyed the sound of terror, pain and fear in people but today? Today was about enjoying the sound of rain on the ground. The feeling of it against her as she danced and twirled in the streets with a manic grin on her face. But no, no. That last part wouldn't work. She had to be on her best behaviour. She might have been a Sith, but she wasn't the kind of person to ruin a celebration like this, without reason. And her enjoyment, for once, was not a good enough reason. Though the bug-like people did give her the heebiest of jeebies. It was amusing to her in fact but she just shook her head, brushing herself down as she prepared to step off her...borrowed shuttle.

Out she stepped out into the rain, throwing her arms out to the side so she could feel the rain against her skin, letting out a content sigh. A small giggle escaped her lips before she zipped them metaphorically with her fingers. No. No. No giggling. Just singing and smiling. Focusing on hiding her force presence in case there were any possible nosy Jedi around. She didn't want to cause problems, but the Jedi might think otherwise. Off she went, skipping through the puddles, smiling away to herself as she twirled and danced in the rain. Whilst some may have found it was some kind of unique dance she was doing, it was more of a series of combat drills as she twirled, twisted and threw her hands and feet out around her. This was perfect! Aha! Just living through the entire thing as she felt a rush of glee and enjoyment. Maybe sometimes it was nice to focus on the...good things in life, as opposed to just focusing on her own power. But that thought quickly vanished as she grabbed a stray Godoan to twirl around in a small dance before she leapt off into the crowd to see what she could do!

Rayne was sitting with her legs crossed on a bench, perched under the cover of an awning. It was raining. In a domed city? She had simply been here to refuel, as Ord Providence was an exporter of Clouzon-36 and a massive refueling station just off the Rimma. The young woman had really only been here to fill up and get back to the Core, but her decision to go exploring had completely backfired. Now she was out here, stuck in the rain.

It was strange. People had taken to the streets in celebration, dancing and singing with bright and colorful parasols. This seemed to be an event of some kind, though she was unclear of what. Worse yet was that had no money to get herself an umbrella. She had just spent her last credit getting enough fuel to return to the core.

A sigh escaped from the mute scavenger as she tilted her head. At least it was pretty to look at. Hopefully this wouldn't go on for too long. She didn't want to have to brave the rain and get cold.

Ko looked around the market stalls after separating from his master for a moment. Who saw it fit for them to spend some more time together that wasn’t doing high octane training exercises. Which his sore muscles would appreciate. Currently the Kel Dor was looking over a stall that had a bunch of ornate wooden masks. Sometimes Ko wondered why someone would ever want to wear a mask if they didn’t need to.

Eventually Ko made his way over to another vendor who was selling umbrellas. Where he quickly pointed to one that caught his eye that had a green cover. Before he payed the vendor the Kel Dor padawan thought for a moment until asking for another umbrella as well, this time a red one.

After paying the vendor Ko quickly made his way back to find Jonyna, now with something to shield him from the rain. His boots splashed against the wet ground. “Master Si!” The Kel Dor padawan called out before rushing over to his mentor who was huddled beneath a tent. “Here you might want this.” Ko said with a hidden smile as he handed her the red umbrella, chosen to match her lightsaber like his own. Knowing that cat’s didn’t like getting wet.

Ukatis held many festivals. One for the fall harvest, another for the spring flowers, a fete for the winter months and another to celebrate the arrival of summer. There were countless others, undoubtedly, spread across the vast rural lands of her home world to honor various customs and events.

Rain was never a welcome sight at any Ukatian festival. On Ord Providence, rain was the festival. Despite this stark difference, Cora could feel a few faint threads of familiarity between the two worlds. It wasn't warming – in fact, it made her a little wary.

The laughter and caroling voices of the celebrating Godoans washed her uneasy thoughts away. As Cora moved along the periphery of the street, her dark green rain coat and matching umbrella deflected the rain from her pale peach dress. The hem was already wet, though – a byproduct of simply being around this much rain with everyone frolicking about.

Someone twirled into her, sending the blonde into a stumble. Boots squeaked as Cora righted herself before she could fall to the wet ground, briefly losing control of her umbrella which accidentally thwacked the jovial redhead right in the face.

"Ah, so you've found 'cookies' as it were?"

The far too calm voice echoed out as Sofiel took a step beside her young apprentice. She kept the typical smile, the kind that still couldn't match the cold, emotionless stare of her eyes. This rainy weather was cause enough for Vorthruz to.. Retreat somewhere safer. And, well, she was curious. A New Goddess, faith. A festival of rain. It was as if it came from a storybook. How much of it was true? How much theory and false?

Of course, there was an importance here to more than her. She turned her gaze down to Kai'lyn.

"Is it tasty?"

Xeno didn't usually go places on his own, but Klocto and Luxar had an engagement of their own that they were tied to, so when the Senator of Ord Providence formally invited him to their festival banquet thing he set off with just himself. It was a show of good will, apparently from the concert that they had held for the charity event going very well. It seemed that the Prov Godoans loved Sith Spit, which was rather amusing for a bunch of reserved, religious folk.

Regardless, he was here now, and Xeno couldn't help but immediately vibe with the atmosphere. Cold and gloomy overcast, but warm within their weird temple. It would have been far better if there was no people present, but he couldn't have everything he wanted. Social interaction was inevitable.

"Mr. Xeno, sir?"

A voice had drawn him out of his daze of thinking, bringing his line of sight to a young boy that had just approached him, album poster in hand.

"D-do you think you could sign this?" the Godoan child asked.

"Sure," Xeno shrugged, giving a half-grin.

In a matter of seconds he had drawn a pen and signed the sweater, and the boy scampered off with delight in his eyes. The half-Nagai let out a sad sigh as he watched the young Godoan vanish from his line of sight into the crowded venue. He had never had wonder and excitement like that in his eyes before. He couldn't help but wonder what things could have been life if his parents hadn't been taken off to Kessel and himself to the Sith. Could he have been like that?

The man continued to sip his tea as he stood on his own, watching the artificial rainfall.

Jonyna smiled, taking the umbrella. "I take it you're enjoying yourself?"

The rain was nice, though her fur didn't appreciate it. Once she got under the umbrella, she took a moment to just....shake.

Maybe it wasn't the best idea to do next to her padawan, who was also trying to stay dry. Lack of forethought was one of Jonyna's greatest downsides.

Syala giggled away at the twirling and the dancing. This was at least a reasonable time to start giggling away like she was enjoying life because she was! Grabbing random strangers to twist and turn into a small dance! She was dancing in the rain! Twisting, twirling and leaping through the streets, letting herself just act like a normal person for a little bit. Well...that was using the term normal person quite loosely actually.

Though as she twirled, the half-Nagai would find herself bashing into someone, as she stumbled a little bit before feeling something smack herself into her face. Almost straight away, her instincts kicked in to the sudden surge of pain as her hands lashed out to grab the woman who just hit her in the face, however she snapped back to reality as Syala blinked towards Cora...and tried to give her a twirl, as Syala tried to disguise her lash out as a small little dance move instead, as she broke out into a manic grin towards the ex-princess.

"Oh! Hiya there! Are you doing okay? I'm soooo sorry! I wasn't looking where I was going. I'm just a big fan of rain! In fact you can call me...Rayne!"

It was easy for her to lie. Easy for her to mask her voice as just being an excited woman. Rayne was a pretty lame false name, considering the situation but names were power. She wasn't going to give some kind of stranger her actual name as Syala just focused on twirling Cora once more, keeping a bright smile away.

Nine bullets, five credits, and a dream. A dream of free food and dance kept him going. Swaying side to side, his shoulders slumped as his arms dangled limply at his sides. Slouched over as he dragged his feet forward, the hood of his jacket fell away from his head as he opened his mouth towards the sky, sticking his tongue out as he tried to swallow down whatever raindrops he could.

Water. Food. Free. All promised at this New House that was open to the public. A building that was somewhere in the middle of the parades, festivals, and stalls, but navigating such unfamiliar territory, especially with the festivities and rain, only became more difficult by the minute. The rain dampened the exposed hair on his head and drops began sliding down his forehead and the back of his neck. A deep grumbling emanated from his stomach.

A hand clutched over his abdomen, "Ugh."

Gripping his stomach to hold the pain at bay, each step took him a few more excruciatingly slow inches further. In his daze, Felix's eyes spotted a bench under an awning. Maybe a little sit down would help. Eyelids drooping low and a groan from the back of his throat graced his presence as he slouched in the bench, unnoticing of the Twi'lek next to him. He would have missed her entirely if his head did not let his body sink down against the bench and tilt his head slightly in exhaustion towards her direction. His eyes flittered almost as if to rest or fall sleep.

Before widening awake a little. More alert.

"Oh, uh, hi," Felix almost whispered, a small wave followed from his right and more organic hand. A small awkward silence followed for a few moments.

" . . . you wouldn't happen to know where the New House is? I heard there's-." Interrupting, his stomach grumbled once more. Both hands covered his stomach quickly in embarrassment while a half-exhausted sheepish smile followed.

"Free food."

Something rather odd happened. Someone else sorta just came over and plopped down on the bench next to her, seemingly unaware of her existence. An awkward frown came to Rayne's face as she shifted to look at the man. She was no socially awkward introvert by any means, but it certainly was weird to try and start a conversation when you were incapable of speaking. That is, of course, when the man started speaking to her.

" . . . you wouldn't happen to know where the New House is? I heard there's-."

"Free food."

This guy was teetering in and out of consciousness. He was somewhere between starved and sleep deprived. Maybe just both. Rayne tilted her head, letting out a sigh. She couldn't speak to him at all, not if he didn't know sign. She got to her feet, revealing her abnormally tall height.

F O L L O W

She spelled out follow in the hopes he at least understood some basic letters, but then gestured for the man to stand and come with her. Rayne would end up getting wet, which sucked, but she was a good samaritan at heart. It wasn't in her nature to leave some guy out here hungry and tired. They'd probably have caf at that New House place anyways, and it wasn't too far down the road here. Maybe a fifteen to thirty minute walk at most.

The young salvager just hoped the man would understand her gesture.

Ko flashed his master a look before nodding. “Of course, we’ve been training so hard the last few months that it’s nice to take a break, like on Cathar.” He replied as she took the umbrella.

The padawan didn’t really react to what came next as Jonyna shook off all the water that had accumulated on her. Suddenly splashing a lot of it onto Ko and making him more wet than the rain had prior. The Kel Dor let out a sigh, not that he was upset, just didn’t really see it coming before raising a clawed hand to wipe his goggles clear of moisture. Wondering now if he was going to smell like a wet cat for the rest of the day.

Did his master lack foresight? Yeah probably. But Ko didn’t really mind that at all. Early on under tutelage with Jonyna he was a little worried that she might have made a mistake with wanting to take him under her wing. However, now he felt like having the brash, tech illiterate, warrior cat woman as a master was actually a blessing in disguise. Giving the bookish padawan more trust in ‘going with the flow’ compared with the more rigid and narrow ideas of being a jedi that he had before.

“Is there anything you might wanna do Master? I’ve only really been to this planet once before with Loomi Loomi . So it’s still quite unfamiliar to me. All I know is that I’d wanna grab some local tea herbs by the end of the day.” He imagined the last sentence didn’t come as much of a surprise to the cathar Jedi Knight. Ko also wondered what it would be like to see his master in a more casual public setting.

-- Provinia, Ord Providence --
-- The Ord Vaug System --

Rain that did not burn the eyes or smelled of acetone. What a novelty! What will they come up next? Starship showers that do not clog?

"At least this is kinda like taking a shower," Spek Zhio said out loud to himself. The Zeltron male wondered whether or not the rain was preventing his natural pheromones from traveling through the air.

It made no difference in the end. He was not on Ord Providence on business. Furthermore, he had heard mentions of a feast going on. Free food and drink? - hopefully booze!

So if there was any business to be had in Provinia, was that of washing off the taste of the nerf-flavored chips he had been eating those past couple of weeks!

-- One standard hour ago --

Alcyone was flying on fumes, along the Corellian Trade Spine, on her way back from Endor via the Sanctuary Pipeline and en route back to Corellia. The captain of a one-man crew sat naked, cross-legged on the cold durasteel floor, with life support running at a bare minimum.

He was one with the void. The hyperlanes like shimmering coils of light, burgeoning to and fro the gravity wells of realspace. He would sometimes pull, oftentimes be pulled. But this time, merely waited. Spek Zhio was not astrogating for a path from point A to point B, as per usual. Both a talent of his and utmost necessity, on a starship with a droid's heuristic processor for navicomp, and inadequate astrogation buffer.

Instead, he lingered at the edge of abeyance, rhythmically overrun by the ebb and flow of the Force, where eidola and ideas mingled and materialized themselves into dreams, nightmares, or premonitions.

He finally had his.

"Alcyone, jump out of hyperspace now, girl!" He said while getting up. His leg muscles feeling somewhat stiff. "But this time, do it softly. Don't go and break your motivator again, after it had just been repaired."

The ship acquiesced with an accompanying display of blinking lights throughout the corridors, while Zhio was on his way to the cockpit. Lacking a vocabulator, this was one of the few ways that she could resort to, in order to communicate with Spek.

"Let's see... Let's see... Where... are... we?" The captain inquired to no one, studying the flight console display. "Still in the Expansion Region, I see... Bes Ber Bikade sector, near the Borkyne System...

"Well, that doesn't help much..."
he concluded, while reaching inside the nearest open cargo container for a bag of nerf-flavored chips. Alcyone, a retrofitted Corellian YT-1930, had plenty of cargo space for a transport her size. Despite that, she lacked room to accommodate all those containers, and the corridors and several of her compartments, including the cockpit, were brimming floor-to-ceiling with those cheap synthetic food-substitutes. "Let's see... what else?... Trust me Alcy, I got this," he said, scouring the HoloNet ping from a nearby relay. "I told you this was the right place!

"Gotcha! Cheap primo fuel, Clouzon-36, straight from the source!"
He munched on a handful of chips and put down the bag on top of the console. "Just have to meditate a while more and find us a nice jump to get us to this so called..." Spek stole a glance at the flight display, "Ord Providence."

"Humph... So this is the New House of the Goddess," he said, before shaking off the wetness from his body, much like a dog would. At least his long gold-embroidered red jacket was water-resistant. "Wonder whatever happened to the old one... And there's the feast! Finally!"

His stomach grumbled, and Zhio patted his own belly. "You're right, you're right... What am I thinking? I can't eat on an empty stomach!" The Zeltron stretched out his arm and heroically pointed onward and upward. "First! Off to find some booze!"

After all, he had to jumpstart his first liver.

Maybe some of the others partaking of the feast could point him in the right direction.

But why was he experiencing something of a familiar scent in the air?

That half-smile remained on Felix's face for few moments until the Twi'lek woman sighed and stood up. Maybe she planned to leave him in this sorry state as his stomach ached once more. Was it his approach? Did he smell? He sure hoped he did not smell like wet dog because of the rain. He almost reached out to plead with her until his gaze shifted away from her face towards her hands. Her fingers tracing lines in the air. Letters. And they were basic from what he could tell.

F. O. L. L. O. And was that going to be an M or a-. W. Follow. She wanted him to follow. Did this mean she couldn't talk? Interesting, he thought with a small grin before slowly pushing himself off the bench. A little to the left before a little to the right, Felix wobbled in place with arms stretched out wide before he steadied himself.

And he nod in understanding and follow. It would be about a minute or two as the pair traveled together. Walking at a straighter and less lethargic gait, Felix remained walking slightly behind her and along her left side. Hands in his pockets, an eyebrow raised as he saw the Twi'lek girl made no move to use a parasol or cover herself from the rain. Whatever her reasons for not keeping out of the rain, it would not do for him.

Besides, he was less inclined to suffer from the cool and wet weather.

"Here. There's no need for you catching a cold at my expense."

Gently and as obvious as possible to not startle the Twi'lek, his black coat found a new home as Felix gently placed it over and around her shoulders before quickly speaking hold that so she can help herself adorn the coat. Raising both hands up to show no ill-intention or tricks, his more cybernetic hand reached out once more and pulled the hood over her head. That should keep her warm and out of the rain until the walk was over.

"There you go. Don't you look absolutely dressed to impress in this weather," a grin followed as he returned to his distance from before. Finding another pair of pockets in his pants to stuff his hands into, Felix glanced his eyes around before casting his attention once more towards the Twi'lek girl. Rainwater beginning to coat his glasses but he could still see most of her clearly.

"Name's Felix. Felix Faraday."

Rayne's jumped a little when she felt Felix's coat settle on her shoulders. The shorter fellow had pulled up the hood to cover her head, which only slightly worked. Her Lekku gave her head a rather awkward shape, and they were quite a bit larger than average. Or maybe it was just her height. Regardless, the young woman gave an awkward smile and a nod of thanks before continuing on.

At least she wouldn't be getting cold.

He introduced himself as Felix. He was... strange. The Twi'lek got the sense that the man wasn't quite human, but she didn't have too much experience with other kinds of folks, so ultimately she wasn't going to press. Not that she could anyways. No speech... Wait a minute.

"...Clouzon-36 formations in the upper-atmosphere indicate an upcoming period of reduced sunlight. Citizens are being advised to warm up their heat lamps in preparation for a stent of artificial sunlight..."

It was a radio, sitting on an unoccupied stall tucked into the cover of a tree. Rayne stepped over, picking up the device. Static overwhelmed the holonet for a moment before a new voice emerged. It sounded like the standard female droid vocoder setting, though it's speech patterns were far from robotic.

"I'm Rayne," the Twi'lek introduced, having taken control of the radio. "Uh, thank you for the jacket. It's very dry. Not like fashion wise, but like it's ability to keep the water off my head."

She frowned awkwardly, tilting her head a little.

"Sorry, no voicebox," the radio spoke. "Can't really talk without something else to speak through. Most people don't know sign."

At least she accepted his gesture of kindness without being startled too much. A brief moment of awkward silence followed after she smiled and nodded, appreciating his effort at least. Maybe he should say something to help the air between them be a little easier to-. Her sudden side-step and stop at a nearby stand caught him off-guard. Did she need something?

His eyes lowered to peer at the small radio in the Twi'lek's hand. What reason did she snatch it up? Was there something on the radio she needed to hear? A shrill cry of static cutting through his eardrums caused Felix to cover one ear for a moment before letting go as it settled into a voice. Robotic and dry but the speech patterns much different than that of a typical droid.

More . . . Twi'lek. Speaking with a soul behind it. Technomancy . . . or was it technopathy? Oh nevermind, he would remember which was which later. A huge grin spread across his face as his eyes lit up. Peering closer, he leaned in towards the radio before looking up towards the Twi'lek.

"That's amazing."

Rayne. Her name was Rayne. His head tilted upwards towards the sky and he peered upward, obvious for Rayne to see, before lower his gaze back down and giving the green Twi'lek woman an amused yet playful smirk. What a coincidence.

"No problem," Felix closed his eyes for a brief moment as he shrugged, "Glad to see you're enjoying the jacket, Rayne."

No voicebox. She needed other devices to talk, and, if he was guessing correctly, anything with a speaker would work--more or less at least.

Felix smiled before bringing his dominant hand up before making a gesture with his fingers and bringing his hand towards his chin. Moving it quickly away from his chin, Felix spoke the first word. Lucky. Speaking each word normally while he made each hand sign, Felix's hands quickly and deftly moved through each hand sign. Maybe he was a little rusty, but a simple phrase like this should be easy enough for anyone.

<"Lucky you, I not most people,"> Felix signed entirely while wearing the biggest grin ever. Sadly for him, though, he could not tell what kind of expression Rayne might be making right this moment.

Barely able to see much more through his glasses in this steady downpour, Felix reached and removed his glasses before folding the temples of the glasses. His arm almost made a motion to put it away inside of his jacket before realizing about midway he did not have one. Instead he hooked it onto his belt and finding it snug and secure, Felix brought his attention back to Rayne. Blue eyes kept rapt attention on her while he ran his hand through his hair several times, flattening it a little.

Wet weather occasionally made the spikey hair get a bit droopy. He might as well get the hair all messy and matted for now.

"At least you won't have to steal that radio," he briefly pointed to the small device with a chuckle, "Unless you plan on introducing yourself as the festival's new disk jockey."

His stomach growled even louder and Felix lurched over with the biggest frown ever. Felix groaned before looking up a small smile, still clutching his abdomen.

"You have a favorite food? I'm a supreme pizza and strawberry sundae kind of guy myself."

Another growl followed. "Ooh, bad idea. That was a bad idea to mention food."

The young togruta looked up at his master with bits of cookies still caught beneath his claws and he nodded reaching for a second tray of them from the table, having placed the previous tray back where he got it now empty save for crumbs. He clutched at them rather tightly with a darting look as if concerned that someone or something might try and take them away from him. This newfound treat seemed to be something that just set off all his feelings in the best ways and he wanted to keep them all for himself. It didn't seem to cross his mind that he might get sick from consuming that much sugar in one go.

"They are amazing!" He stated from a mouth full of more cookies... The second tray was quickly emptied and he spotted something he thought looked like meats and he voraciously helped himself seemingly having no qualms just using his hands to pluck things up and draw to his fanged mouth to tear into. He didn't seem to pay other guests heed nor polite inclination as he snatched morsels up from the large array of food.

“Is there anything you might wanna do Master? I’ve only really been to this planet once before with Loomi Loomi Loomi Loomi . So it’s still quite unfamiliar to me. All I know is that I’d wanna grab some local tea herbs by the end of the day.”

Jonyna shrugged. "I don't plan that far ahead. What do you wanna do?"

The Cathar never had 'plans' per say. She came up with whatever caught her fancy in the moment. Right now, she looked around, seeing what she felt in the moment. "You hungry?"
