__________________________________

Previously, we wished to update the timeline every six months or so but that seems to have fallen to the wayside since the site migration. It's time to set that right. These updates typically hinge on having a multitude of events that have influenced the board as a whole in a meaningful way. It is the description of an era that has passed, a slice of time recorded in Chaos History, for everyone to see and enjoy.

In the interval that has passed since our last update, the number of engaging stories being told across the galaxy has only grown. With that in mind—We believe that we should have more than enough data.

This is where all of you come in. No one knows what happened better than you.

We would ask that you put your heads together and provide a submission of events that influenced, changed opinions, or held far-reaching effects that rippled through the community.

Please Include the Following:
Name of Event:
Link to thread/s:
The Major Players:
An Overview of What Happened: (Including, if possible, any far-reaching effects or changes that you may have taken note of.)

We are looking for the stories that you believe held the most weight, or, events that were public and popular enough that you still find yourselves reminiscing. These submissions should contain things that affected more than one faction, or large scale public events with many participants.

Please note that submission doesn't guarantee inclusion in the next timeline update, but the more far-reaching the event is, the more people involved and impacted, the more likely it will be.

We look forward to your responses. Thank you!

Name of Event: Second Imperial-Mandalorian War / General Prerogative: Moridin / Mandalorian Diaspora
Link to thread/s:
The Major Players:
  • The Sith Empire
  • The United Mandalorian Clans (Defunct Faction)
  • The Network (Defunct Faction)
An Overview of What Happened:
  • Following the multitude of Silver Jedi and Confederacy led invasions against the United Mandalorian Clans, the Sith Empire under the direction of Darth Carnifex puts into motion their betrayal of the Mandalorians by attacking their capital of Mandalore without provocation.
  • Mandalore is put to siege for multiple weeks, with reigning Mand'alor Yasha Cadera perishing during the fighting.
  • The Sith Empire establishes control over Mandalore and the surrounding star systems while the United Clans dissolve and disperse.
  • Architected by Darth Carnifex and Darth Prazutis, the Empire commences with General Prerogative: Moridin which entails the systematic genocide and ethnic cleansing of Mandalorians alongside mass colonization of former Mandalorian worlds by Sith-Imperial colonists.
  • Most disloyal and neutral Mandalorians are either executed directly or enslaved to serve in grueling work camps spread throughout the Empire's territory.
  • Mandalorians who had sided with the Empire against the United Clans are allowed to retain their identity and culture on pre-determined reservations on Concord Dawn and other worlds, though laws are enacted to restrict the expansion of their settlements and their intermingling with non-Mandalorians.
  • The Network, led by former United Clans Warmaster Kaine Australis, attempts to liberate Mandalore from the Sith Empire but is unable to do so and is forced to flee.
  • Australis manages to liberate some of the work camps located in the Mandalorian system, bringing word of the Sith's treatment of the Mandalorians to the wider galaxy.
  • New laws are drafted to legitimize the harsh reprisal against Mandalorians who rose up in response to Australis' abortive attack on Mandalore, while Mandalore itself is renamed it Moridinae and divided along its northern and southern hemisphere into zones of occupation run by the Graug and Imperials respectively.
  • The majority of Mandalorian slaves within the Sith Empire are gradually exterminated, and the Mandalorian culture wiped out on many former Mandalorian worlds including Mandalore.
  • The Sith Empire negotiates a treaty with the Mandalorian Clan Solus of Vanquo, agreeing to allow Clan Solus to purchase the rest of the Empire's dwindling supply of Mandalorian slaves.
  • The Treaty of Vanquo is signed, and General Prerogative: Moridin is officially ended as Mandalorian culture within the Sith Empire is wiped out entirely.

Name of Event: The Sundering of Mandalore
Link to thread/s:
Relevant Links:
The Major Players:
  • The Sith Empire
  • The United Clans of Mandalore [Capitulated]
  • The Network [Capitulated]
An Overview of What Happened:
The collapse of Mandalore was the chaotic end to the United Clans of Mandalore and the beginning of the genocide of the Mandalorian people. In the midst of a war against the Confederacy of Independent Systems and Silver Jedi Concord (formerly Silver Jedi Order), the Sith Empire, formerly allies with the UCM, betrays the United Clans and lays siege to Mandalore. In the weeks that followed, Mand'alor Yasha Cadera is killed and the United Clans capitulate as Mandalore is lost.

With the Sith firmly in control of Mandalore, so began the collapse of Mandalorian culture and the beginning of the Mandalorian Genocide. Named 'Operation: Decimation,' Sith-Imperial agents eliminated remaining pockets of Mandalorian resistance. However, when Mandalorian warriors began to disappear into the civilian population of Mandalore, the Sith Emperor declared the Decree for the Resettlement of the Mandalorian People; under this new law, entire Mandalorian communities were rounded up for the slightest of provocations, if any, and detained in Imperial black sites where they worked under grueling conditions until death, which came quickly for most.

Coming close to extinction for the first time since the inception of their culture, the way of Mandalore was in precarious danger of being extinguished forever. The Sith wished to eradicate Mandalorian culture from Mandalore and the Galaxy, yet small remnants of warriors and refugees survived the bloodshed. It was from these remnants that three prominent factions emerged; the Sons of Mandalore, a group of radical crusaders who allied with the New Imperial Order to exact vengeance on the Sith Empire and retake Mandalore; the Mandalorian Union, an independent faction that vowed to similarily retake Mandalore from the hands of the Sith; and the Enclave, a covert hidden in the Confederacy of Independent Systems that vowed to rebuild Mandalorian Culture instead of shedding more blood in what they viewed as a futile attempt to liberate Mandalore.

Mandalore had survived, or at least her spirit had. But the unity and galactic power that had been hed by the United Clans was lost, and even now the future of Mandalore is bleak.

The Major Players:
The Bryn'adûl
The Galactic Alliance
The Silver Jedi Concord
The Agents of Chaos
Keshiri Imperium/Wild Space Exiles [Expunged]

An Overview of What Happened:

- Beginning of the Bryn'adûl attack on the Galaxy:
  • In late 858ABY the Bryn'adûl formed into a fully functioning military capable of holding territory of the galactic/system-wide scale. In the time following this, the Bryn'adûl began their genocidal campaign against the rest of the known Galaxy. This reached across wild space, wiping out systems on an unprecedented scale.
- The battle of Kesh:
  • The Chieftain of the Bryn'adûl Tathra Khaeus Tathra Khaeus lead the Bryn to Kesh, encountering the Keshiri Imperium. The forces at Kesh were led by Solan Charr Solan Charr , allied with the Agents of Chaos led by Scherezade deWinter Scherezade deWinter , joined by Mandalorian forces lead by R Reyn Australis . The rebellion at Kesh was defeated, routing the upstart Keshiri Imperium and destroying them.
- The Bryn'adûl attack continues:
  • The Bryn'adûl continue in their genocidal campaign, unchecked and killing at will. Billions have died in the mass planetary invasions, killing more inside of a single year than the Sith Empire and One Sith combined in their entire life cycles.
- Beginnings of Warfare:
  • The actions of the Bryn'adûl lead to two recent conflicts. A skirmish at Honoghr, an operation led the Galactic Alliance in an effort to cut off the head of the snake. A strike force lead by Loske Treicolt Loske Treicolt and Weyland Castril Weyland Castril attempted to assassinate Tathra Khaeus Tathra Khaeus with the assistance of several other Jedi. This strike force failed in their efforts and Honoghr was eventually taken by the Bryn'adûl.
  • The more recent and significant of the conflicts was a planetary invasion of Yurb, a world protected by the Silver Jedi Concord. The Bryn'adûl were defeated at Yurb, but this is only the beginning of a Galaxy wide war.
- The Genocide continues:
  • 59,092,971,000. That's fifty-nine billion and ninety-two million, nine hundred and seventy-one hundred thousand deaths. A massacre on an unprecedented level lead by a singular species, with one goal - To wipe out the rest of the Galaxy and expunge weakness from known space as they see it. The war waged by the Bryn'adûl continues and so does their horde continue to grow.

This never happened. You called it off after post round 1. Loske wasn't there. We never even crossed paths. This event never occurred.

If there are inconsistencies in the narratives that are brought to the table please attempt to work it out privately amongst yourselves. Adjustments can be made accordingly, easily, via editing. If that isn't feasible everyone also knows where the report button is located.

This thread is for submissions for the timeline. Not debates on the "truth" of an incident. Lets keep it that way, please.

I will DM you both to aid in this matter.

Lorda of Nem'ro and Hutt Republic Supreme Mogul
Name of Event: The Formation of the Hutt Republic
Link to thread/s:

The Major Players:
An Overview of What Happened:

  • Begins with a meeting between Broka the Hutt Broka the Hutt and Gortta Desilijic Tiure Gortta Desilijic Tiure on Nar-Shaddaa. Both are relatively young Lordas that wanted the Hutts to return to greatness. It was here that both an alliance was formed between the Nem'ro Clan and the Desilijic Clan, as well as where Broka first expressed the idea of the Hutt Republic. A means to have the appearence of reform in Hutt Space, while also securing the power of the Hutts and allowing the Hutts that still survived in power to still live the luxurious life styles they had since the beginning of their species existence.
  • A while goes by, and Broka comes into contact with Queen Popara Queen Popara . Soon after, a meeting between all the Hutts was called in the remains of the great Cossak the Hutt's palace. The topic of the meeting was to figure out what future the Hutts will have. While Popara's advisor, Kirill Bratan Kirill Bratan , proposed a return of a system like that of the Hutt Empire with Queen Popara as its sovereign, Broka countered this proposal with an official announcement of his plan for the Hutt Republic. From that point on, the three Hutts would lead the Hutt species into the future by introducing the new system that is the Hutt Republic.
  • The three Hutts began to reconquer any territory not belonging to any Hutt clan on Nar-Shaddaa from lesser gangs that have sprung up since the fall of the Hutts. However, pressure from the incoming Bryn'adul caused the Hutts to call on the aid of Jedi for protection from the greater threat. It was a move out of pure desperation. With the help from the Silver Jedi Concord, the Hutts were able to recapture their world of Nar-Shaddaa much faster. They also now act as a zone of domestic autonomy, where the SJC provides protection form outside threats, and the Hutts would have to abide by the foreign diplomacy the SJC has in terms of alliances and war, but the Hutts would have the right to govern their space as they please. This protection from the SJC would provide time for the Hutts to build up their strength to face the imminent threat of the Bryn'adul. There was an incident of rogue rangers lead by Tulan Kor Tulan Kor , but the situation was dealt with, and did not stop the deal between Jedi and Hutts from completing.
  • After becoming a zone of domestic autonomy within the Silver Jedi Concord, Broka, Gortta, and Popara, now make the Hutt Republic official by writing the constitution. The constitution defines how the Hutt Republic would work in terms of leadership, stance on diplomacy and trade, as well as the discrepancies with the more moralist Jedi the Hutts need to appease to some level. To be more specific, the end of the slave trade for at least the portion of time while the Hutt Republic is within the realm of the Silver Jedi Concord. The writing of the Hutt Constitution was witnessed by Sakadi Marathi Sinvala Sakadi Marathi Sinvala of the SJC to increase legitimacy of the new government.
OOC: This thread (Ssh! We're Writing the Hutt Constitution, and what the third bullet in this section addresses) is still being finished, but is near completion. The only part that is left is electing the first Supreme Mogul (official leader of the Hutt Republic, and that title would go to Broka the Hutt Broka the Hutt ), and the signing of the Hutt Constitution. The actual content of what the Constitution states, and its composition process has already been covered over the course of this thread.

Galactic Alliance
An Overview of What Happened: After months of hard work and cooperation between the two regional governments, the Core Alliance and High Republic officially merged to reconstitute the Galactic Alliance. From all across the Core Region and Galaxy at large, sapients flocked to Galactic City to witness the signing of the new Common Charter and to celebrate the first "Unity Day" amidst the bustling crowds of the ancient ecumenopolis. The reconstitution of the Galactic Alliance signaled a new era of democracy for the Core under the star-spangled starbird banner.

Starbird | GA Dominion of Coruscant [Reconstitution of the Galactic Alliance]

The Major Players:

Core Alliance
High Republic
Grayson Imperium

An Overview of What Happened:

  • Corellia rebels from the New Republic to form the Corellian Confederation and begins to spread.
  • Military forces under the command of Jedi Master Cedric Grayson subjugate remnant warlords of the Core Imperial Confederation based on Coruscant. As more members rally behind the Jedi Lord's banner, the Grayson Imperium is formed. It too begins to spread across the Core Region.
  • As the Corellian Confederation spreads into the Deep Core, it reforms into a new Republic.
  • Tensions begin to rise between the Grayson Imperium and Republic over ideological differences as their borders grow closer and closer. A terrorist attack by the Agents of Chaos on Kuat in the midst of a meeting nearly brings the two regional powers to war. Fortunately, both factions agree to release their claims on the sector and establish a Neutral Zone between them.
  • Cedric Grayson is severely injured in battle while combating forces of Chaos on Brentaal IV. The Imperium's House of Lords use the event to pass a Declaration of Incapacity against the Lord-Imperator, stripping him of his absolute power and abolishing the monarchy in favour of a Senate and elected ruler. The Grayson Imperium is officially reformed into the Core Alliance, with Emmen Tagge elected as Chief.
  • The Core Alliance begins repairing soured diplomatic relations with neighbouring factions, forming trade agreements and defense pacts with the Republic and Silver Jedi.
  • Finding their goals much more aligned after the reformation of the Imperium, the Core Alliance and Republic see increased cooperation as they work to root out remnant cells of the Core Imperial Confederation and other threats to the Core.
  • The Core Alliance and Republic merge to reconstitute the Galactic Alliance.
  • The Galactic Alliance continues to grow, reclaiming the fractured systems of the Core Region. Steadily, the region's economy and quality of life improves from the desolation brought by the occupation of the Sith Imperial Bloc. For the first time in many years the Core Worlds are united under a single democratic banner.

The Sith Empire

An Overview of What Happened: (Apologies, this is a 9 month narrative. I'll be as concise as possible)
The Invasion of Kintan - An under prepared front meant that Kintan was devastated by the attack of the Sith. Signs of Sith aggression grew by the thread, and the planets inside Silver Sphere knew it was only a matter of time until the next attack. But where? And when? The singular jedi order found itself stretched too thin to protect the large sphere's borders without supplemental aid.

The planets inside Silver Sphere responded by banding together, and The Jedi Concord was born.

The Concord supplied the order with proper funding and supplies to deal with the many new refugees that entered its protection. With this aid, the Silver Sphere saw the first steps of it's own government begin to form.

Concordia launched as an independent organization. They took it upon themselves to work with all willing planets to funnel humanitarian aid to all that required it.

But as time passed, the Sphere's needs grew more severe. Following border tensions with an xenoophobic species, emergency measures were put into place. The sphere knew it needed a solid head to assure concise and quick responses to the sith threat on their borders.

Guided by Concordia, The sphere officially designed itself to be a federation and ordered the creation of one unified defense force to oversee the whole system.

An election was held.

Changes were made in a series of days.

And from the ashes of the chaos, The Silver Jedi Concord was born.

The Silver Sphere now operates as a united humanitarian front. For the galaxy, this serves as a beacon of light.

Confederacy First

An Overview of What Happened:
Confederacy First. At a time when the Confederacy of Independent Systems was the sole arbiter of justice against a rising tide of darkness in the galaxy, it seemed that almost war-after-war was fought by the men, women, and droids of the CIS on other’s behalf. Thousands died on battlefields such as Eshan, Tanaab, and Kuat, in wars little in the Confederacy knew or were truly impacted by. While such great focus was put on the rest of the galaxy, the result was a pit of neglect at home. And so, in a bold and unprecedented move, Vicelord Darth Metus introduced the Executive Order: Confederacy First, a sudden and direct change of policy.

The policies of the executive order were rather tame when broken down; the formerly-maintained ‘First Response’ doctrine, in which Confederacy military assets were stationed outside of CIS space in order to respond to distress calls from allies, was terminated and those assets were withdrawn into CIS space. In addition to that, a mandate for border security was introduced to monitor travel within Confederacy territory and implement a level of security on the previously unrestricted borders. In short, the executive order was essentially an end to Confederacy military hegemony over much of the galaxy and implementation of border-security, and although some decried these measures as vestiges of isolationism and claimed that the Confederacy had a duty towards the protection of the galaxy, domestic and foreign reception was initially positive to this move.

What changed, however, was the implementation of further mandates by the Office of the Vicelord, specifically one of his Exarchs. Collectively termed as the ‘CIS First Supporting Mandate,’ these new laws immediately implemented a census of all Confederacy inhabitants and identification of foreign nationals, who were then either forced through a legalization process or deported. What was previously mild border security became a hardline requirement for authorization to operate in Confederacy Space, with zero tolerance for any violation. Tariffs were levied on all imports into the Confederacy, regardless of product, and taxes were also levied on all foreign assets held by domestic owners within the Confederacy. In an effort to compensate, tax breaks were offered to companies who chose to relocate all operations to solely the Confederacy.

Both foreign and domestic reaction was largely negative to these mandates. Galactic neighbors called it a new level of economic and military isolation and accused the Confederacy of deliberately closing multiple well-used Trade Routes that ran through Confederacy Space. In direct response, the Galactic Alliance along with Outer Planets Alliance and Silver Jedi Concord charted the Starbird Trade Spine, a new hyperlane that would create a route of commerce between the three nations and bypass the Confederacy completely. The creation of the Trade Spine was a symptom to what many in the galaxy saw as an economic attack on what had been a largely accepted policy of intragalactic free trade, and because of it, the new mandates, and CIS First as a whole, faced heavy criticism.

Great Ball of Fire

Overview of what happened:
One of the outcomes of the Confederacy First Mandate was a series of terrorist attacks perpetrated by the Agents of Chaos. The first incursion was a direct attack on the world of Ryloth. Using diplomatic meetings on Siskeen as a distraction, the Agents of Chaos arrived on Ryloth with a party ship giving the Confederacy during the Founder’s Day celebration. An ultimatum was given, abandon Ryloth or the Agents of Chaos would attack. Before an answer would be given a secondary terrorist cell attacked Ryloth, blowing the capitol dome and threatening to kill all who were inside.

Siskeen was another matter. In what became a game of diplomatic intrigue Derek Dib tricked a delegation from the Agents of Chaos in arriving so he could see them arrested. What resulted was a violent showdown which saw Derek Dib Derek Dib and Seraphina Corvinus Seraphina Corvinus shot and left for dead.

Rodia and Talay were the next targets, this time a small group announced their attack. They managed to bring down the capitol dome of Rodia, causing mass destruction and chaos on the swamp world. A massive fleet battle took place over Talay which saw the flagship of Kiff Brayde Kiff Brayde 's fleet make the ultimate sacrifice to ensure that Exarch John Locke John Locke could make his escape.

In the end the terrorist attacks left the worlds dark for a time, but in the end the Confederacy restored and reconstructed each world, repairing the damage which was caused. A monument was erected on Siskeen for all the lives lost so the Confederacy would never forget.

These events, along with a raid on the Viceroyalty chamber, led the Confederacy to move their capitol from Geonosis to Naboo. The amount of unrest and terrorism in the region, along with the opportunity to relocate the capitol to a more centralized sector of the Confederacy seemed to make the relocation a natural and appropriate conclusion.

Name of Event: CRISIS OF IDENTITY: DARKWIRE!
Link to thread/s:
The Major Players:
  • Darkwire
  • Corporate Authorities of Denon
An Overview of What Happened:
  1. HE'S A TIME BOMB
Diviak Manfloon, a leading member of the governing Direx Board in the Corporate Authorities of Denon, expands his cooperate portfolio by hiring the criminal organization Darkwire to alter the will of Belazura's Governor Chuma. Once accomplished —through the uncanny measure of cutting an entire floor off a building— the governor's will was rendered powerless and, after his assassination by Darkwire Shadowrunners, the entire planet becomes property of Manfloon's mining union.
  2. GHOST IN THE MACHINE
Rumors surface of the founding champion of Darkwire, Frankie, who was once thought dead, is actually alive! Upon investigation, Darkwire discovers seeming duplicates of Frankie, each believing they are the real version of her. With no one yet able to tell the difference, it hints at a very sophisticated replication program. Whatever sinister forces are at work spell something brewing on the horizon...
  3. NANOTRIPPING
Through means unknown, a business venture in the form of CYBERDRIVE entertainment released their new nano-bot based entertainment system to the backwater world Parcellus Minor. This leads to an unprecedented disaster as the entire planet is locked down while the people are ravaged by fever dreams of their ideal life, all the while hiding the sinister plot of Larz Blackheart, another member of the Direx Board, collecting data on all those effected by the technological sickness. The disaster was eventually averted and the nano-bots destroyed due to the resourcefulness of Darkwire, but at what cost...
  4. ON THE BEACH OF DREAMS; ANOTHER WORLD
In order to cover up the CYBERDRIVE disaster, victims were given a free voucher to the galaxy-renowned resort world Belazura! In a twist of irony their vouchers were valid only for an indoor "virtual" experience, at which they were subjected to images of the once beautiful worlds ecology being trampled by the corporate greed of Diviak Manfloon. The daughter of the former Governor of Belazura transmitted this message and nearly paid the price, if not for the intervention of the corporate rival Luminous Sun giving her a stay of execution. The Chuma girl escapes with her allies in Darkwire, but with the ramifications of what she had done still festering on the exploited world...
  5. LOOKING IN THE MIRROR
Darkwire's reputation has come under threat, as strange doppelgängers have taken up the identities and jobs of various Shadowrunners, deliberately failing for reasons unknown. These copies carrying the uncanny sophistication of Frankie's copies with the surreal dreams experienced on Parcellus Minor. It is unclear how deep this conspiracy goes...
