Malagarr was one of the first worlds the Bryn'adûl had come across upon their re-entry into known space. However it was a dead world long before they found it, leaving nothing but a small outpost on the planet for many years until recently. Malagarr was being reformed into a Fortress World, and at the heart of that Fortress was the secondary home of the Ish'makra, a retreat for more secretive proposals and discussions. The topics brought to the table in this particular meeting of the Council were indeed handled with great secrecy and importance.

They would shape the face of the Bryn'adûl, moving forward to innovate and improve the Barricas. Their ultimate goal to quicken their conquest against the cancer of weakness. The construction of the central Council Chamber had only recently been completed, and this would be its first ever full meeting. From every corner of Bryn'adûl space, delegates and central members of the Ish'makra would be in attendance at this gathering to discuss the role of the Sraelvun in their society and the evolution of the Force within their Species.

These were controversial topics no doubt, but it was at the very core of Draelvasier belief to face adversity head on and to build upon ones weaknesses and find strength in their unity. Today the Ish'makra would decide if these accusations of weakness were valid, and how they would be dealt with.

First would be Hrajlmak Natok of Shaman heritage, speaking on behalf of a proposed sect known as Warlocks. Second would be the infamous Marauder Hraelga and a proposal regarding the utilisation of the Sraelvun. Following that would be an open platform for those in attendance to official bring forth anything in additional to the preceding hearings.

OBJECTIVE - Participate in the Proceedings.
Air your opinions, plead your case. Watch as the Bryn'adûl develops for the better or worse. Argue to convince the stubborn and disgruntled members of the Ish'makra, rally those searching for change to your side. Chart the course of Bryn'adûl History.

Hrajlmak took his place before the Ish'makra, staff in hand and armor renewed. Since his exile after the battle of Eshan, Hrajlmak had been in a state of anger, stubbornness and frustration. All things seemed rallied against him from his diminutive perspective. A mind clouded with anger had proceeded to make poor decisions before finally landing him an audience with the Primarch. One he only barely escaped alive. Although the years after Eshan had been almost without failure, arrogance and controversy still pursued him. Now, before the highest body below the Chieftain, Hrajlmak thought on how to redeem his position.

"It is my conviction that the Shaman caste needs greater flexibility." Every time he spoke, the gash travelling from his mandible to his forehead moved apart and stung like a knife in the flesh. "While the traditional role of the Shaman is indispensable, our distance from the battlefield excludes advantages I have directly witnessed from my own time on the front-lines. By placing warrior-shamans in the heat of battle, our troops fight with unparalleled determination and will as a result of the subtleties of the cosmic energy. So close to the fight, our coordination in the face of changing events can be immediate. I come here to press the formation of a new Shaman order, my own existence testifying to its validity. A new order of warrior-shamans just as capable in combat as they are proficient in the cosmic energy". Hrajlmak leaned slightly on his staff, his left calf struggling with a fresh wound from a Jedi.

Aboard the Conquester Divine Brutality

Tathra was on the other side of the Bryn'adûl Territories when the call had been made. The Ish'makra had offered him a delay, however his physical attendance was not required. He remained on the edge of their borders, following contact with the Jedi on Glottal - Tathra had began to ensure that countermeasures would be put in place for the arri"val of impromptu defenders. Again and again they had thwarted the Crusaders, even if only by a small fraction.

It was a weakness to be expunged and no doubt the Primarch and the Seers could maintain order without his direct attendance. Tathra sat down in his chamber, placing both of his hands on the Imbued Communicator Stones. The Titan reluctantly gave access to his mind, communicating with his occipital lobe as his surroundings shifted, rearranging into the Ish'makra chambers.

At Malagarr -

The central chair of the council chamber shun with light as the Stones projected the from of Tathra into the seat, a fizzled image appeared of the Titan. Arriving a moment late to the proceedings as he appeared halfway through the Shaman's proclamation. There were whispers and disgruntled murmurs among them, Tathra looked to the Seers; bowing his head slightly in a show of respect. The same action was mirrored to the Primarch and other present bodies of authority.

The crowd seemed to be partially in disagreement with Hrajlmak, those who spoke out sighted the unfaithful methods of garnering support the Shaman had undertaken as a sign of his lack of duty to the Bryn'adûl. They claimed the matters to be linked, however Tathra did not necessarily disagree.

"Concept and methodology are not mutually exclusive, Seer Eirkaden." Tathra offered, quietening some of the objections. The Shaman Natok was here, now before them. Perhaps some guidance from the Primarch was all he had required.

"Be careful, my brethren. Do not to make the same mistakes as this Shaman." Tathra extended his meaty paw in the general direction of Hrajlmak.

"He has became deluded with his purpose as a Shaman and allowed it to delude his faith in our ways. This folly is not to be practiced. You may not care for his actions but do not practice his mistake and see fault due to association alone."

Usually, the Marauder was feeling in her element, always on top of her game, but now there was a hint of nervosity, of unrest within her corporeal form. It could be seen by her somewhat erratic behavior. Perhaps it was due to the fact she had to witness those she saw as her rivals, her enemies within the Bryn'adûl, to be promoted to positions of power, elevated to the level comparable to her own, while her own position was being threatened, dismissed and put under heavy scrutiny. Rumours had already spread from who knows where, blaming much of the misfortunes and set backs upon Hraelga, even when it was not even remotely within her powers. This was all weighing heavily upon her, even though she was too proud to have this all end up looking like it was her fault, she knew that these false rumors had already penetrated to the highest echelons within their ranks, why else would the Creator himself look upon her as but a mere insect, while extolling the virtues of others.

For now though, she kept silent, appearing before the Ish'makra, waiting for them to proceed with their judgment over another. It was the shaman Hrajlmak'Natok Hrajlmak'Natok , one who had earned Hraelga's respect by being somewhat of a tactician, a shaman with a view that went beyond their caste's regular way of thinking. If only she was permitted to speak on his behalf, to aid him if things were going wrong. She would certainly not mind having a more beneficial working relationship with this shaman, who as a veteran of many battles had proven himself to be worthy of praise, certainly among the shamans.

Hearing how the shaman was treated, not only by the Ish'makra, but actually by the Creator himself, Hraelga could not help but wonder if this was going to happen to her too, or did she read the words wrong, did she mistakenly make a judgment on those spoken words because of her own crumbling pride? Still, despite her nerves and her crumbling pride she could not help herself but to clack her tongue audibly in slight nervosity, annoyed by her own thoughts, but also by how things seemed to be going. With how deluded and desillusioned the crowd semed to be, this was not just a hearing, this was an inquisition and the Creator had played his hand well. There was no way these stubborn fools would be agreeing with anything which could improve the efficiency of their crusades and with her own image tarnished and besmirched already, Hraelga knew enough, this was going to be a fight for survival...

Than again she wondered, was this not just her jumping too fast to conclusions?

The Primarch had little to say yet, he sat cross armed - watching as the rest of the Ish'makra discussed. As per usual, Tathra granted wisdom with every word spoken. It was a reminder for Drek'ma himself not to simply disregard the opinions of the Shaman simply out of spite.

They would all have to remind themselves of their priorities. The future and progression of the Bryn'adûl was always every members priority. The Primarch sat forward slightly, nodding to the projection of the Titan.

A Seer stood up, gesturing to Tathra; "The Chieftain is right. I would, seeing as she is already in attendance - like to call upon Marauder Nacht to give her appraisal of Hrajlmak for the consideration of the Council!"

The unblinking eyes of the Primarch shifted to the Marauder in the corner of the room, was it mere coincidence that the proceedings before them all regarded innovations and progression? Perhaps not. War of greater measures was undoubtedly upon them.

"Should we not judge the Shaman on his own words?" - "As Primarch, I encourage this. Allow the peers of this Shaman to shed light on his character. Sire?"

The Ish'makra seemed to be curbed into silence by the words of their Chieftain, even with so many bustling opinions on display; the discussions of Tathra seemed to be quickly deferred to. His diplomatic yet dominant method of logic coupled with the Primarch's deference to him seemed to bring the Ish'makra councils attention directly to the Titan himself.

This in fact, was not by mere coincidence. Both the Titan and Primarch had been playing the game of politics for well over a decade, Tathra had many years and had known the majority of his kin since they were hatchlings. Their deference was equal parts acknowledgement of his intellect and a genetic sense of submission.

Some turned their attention also to the Marauder, others to the Shaman. Their attention was divided, there was no immediate sense of disagreement toward the proposal of the Shaman. The air was intrigue, however that was prone to change.

Aureate eyes shifted from Hrajlmak to the Primarch, then to Hraelga. A series of thought, or none at all. For each of them the experiences that predetermined his view of them cropped into his mind.

The Primarch had forever been a diligent servant to their cause, his vigilance had no competitor. He was a powerful combatant and beast master both, but his most great tool was his mind. Tathra had known that from very early on, Azarak's goals had always mirrored his own - maintaining the right people in the stations of power. It said much that he had not simply killed the Shaman Hrajlmak.

The Shaman had been on many battlefields, fought like a Warrior on each. There was reasoning to his words, even evidence of fruits from his labour. Yet, still his methods in achieving these things were questionable. But now, perhaps they could set that right. Here and now - the present was what truly mattered.

Hraelga, for all her faults had done more good than harm to the Bryn'adûl and had indeed fought on many war-fronts alongside Hrajlmak, her opinion could shed light on the situation. He only wished that perhaps Shaman Bazh'thu had been available to be called upon as well. He and Hrajlmak had worked together on Maldra, and he would've been curious to hear his appraisal of Hrajlmak outside of combat.

Either way, Tathra would not purposefully choose to be ignorant of information only experience could hold.

Drekarys Kel the Nightmare. That was his preferred title within the Bryn'adûl. Though he had gone by others, The Outcast and The Shadow were more obvious of his disposition, while others were more mocking and insulting, such as the Beastless Shaman. Those who spoke of him with that moniker found their lungs drowned in their own blood, and their stomachs gutted open for all to see.

Though, he could not look upon his genetic abnormality with complete loathing, for without it he would not be what he was, where he was, and would not be capable of the feats he managed. He had invited himself to the meeting of the Ish'makra and had worn nothing to cover himself, though there was nought to see without his willingness to display it. This was a meeting for change, and Drekarys was a standing stone to represent change. He was of both genders with a nightmarish proportions, physique and form.

A Draelvasier that found no affiliation with the beasts they bred, a Draelvasier whose claws could puncture metal, a Draelvasier who had been ripped from the worst nightmares the Cosmic Force could muster from the galaxy. Yet a Draelvasier who had excelled where none others had thought to look, who had broadened his view and learned more than he was taught by his superiors and had tamed Ancient Magics within the Force.

Even with his pride, he could distract himself no longer from the proceedings of the meeting. He had attempted to listen to conversations hundreds of metres from his own position, had sniffed the air for a scent that he could use to deduce a story from. Yet he stood now, steadfast and confident, his shoulders broadened and his claws sharpened, his teeth cleaned of the blood he had stained them with and his mandibles polished to a matte of their regular colour. The same could be said for his entire carapace, technically, as he had cloaked himself in shadows, shadows that had mimicked his regular carapace but reflecting all light.

It seemed for a moment that there was some silent debate between those preceeding the hearings on the shaman Hrajlmak's proposal, with a long silent pause, a comment given by the Primarch and the Ish'makra seemingly in a bit of a bind, all of them obviously looking to have a concensus being formed and decided upon by the great Chieftain himself. For that moment, during that silence between decisions and conclusions, Hraelga calmly moved closer to the shaman, until she stood next to him, letting out another sound with a clack of her tongue, but this time the sound was slighly different, more of an encouraging rather than a dismissive tone, though there was no certainty wether or not anyone in the room, apart from maybe the chieftain himself was that versed in Hraelga's particular use of her clicking sounds.

When finally the verdict came from the chieftain, allowing the marauder to at the very least voice her own opinion on the matter, Hraelga made a short, yet respectful nod to the gathered elders.
"As you are all aware, I in my position as Marauder, but also as my former position of Zealot Major, have enough accounts and situations to draw from in order to testify on the shaman's behalf and in deference to his proposal," For a moment, the marauder went silent, until she suddenly slammed her fist against her chest, showing her pride as a warrior and paying her respects to the mighty red titan's image looking over the preceedings. "Shaman Hrajlmak speaks of a more combat alligned orientation for those of his kind and I concur that in times of seperation, when shamans either due to the heat of battle or through deception and tactics of the inferior enemy are being singled out, their current status and lack of general combat ability makes them vulnerable and also impedes our own strategies and tactics, as the loss of shamans is a great blow to our control over any and all battlefields."

The marauder waited for a second, thinking on how to properly formulate her words as to avoid insulting any of the elders, let alone the very ideals of the Bryn'adûl and the tennets of their kind. "Yes, we proud ourselves upon our strength, we pride ourselves on our brutality, our commitment and our glory," Spreading out her arms a bit, the marauder added some visual emphasis to her words. "Is it thus not most fitting that the Shamans pride themselves on those same qualities? Many of them are strong, many of them posses the necessary physical strength, endurance and will to be true warriors, but because of the way they are thought, many of them also lack the actual insight in battle to fully utilize their own strength when the situation demands it from them. That is why I, in my position of Marauder, humbly request that you consider Shaman Hrajlmak's proposal positively and with your view cast upon the future of our kin, not the past."

With arms folded, Galak watched the proceedings. He had been asked here by the Titan himself off of the Kessel Sector front to be summoned in both cases. He had fought in company of both Hrajlmak and Hraelga. Thus far he had no comments on either, but he'd be interested to hear the opinions of the Marauder Nacht on the exiled Shaman. Would she again so carelessly through aside a life for her own gain? He didn't know. As Marauder, he would protect those he could - those who followed the tenants. Thus far, neither had done a particularly great job of that.

But he believed deep down that both could have their hearts in the right place, he hoped as much. Hrajlmak had fought a lot on the front lines, with Stave, Axe and Sword, Pyromancy, grit and sheer determination. Change was nothing to fear, so much had changed in their time together, all of them. Galak had never imagined himself a Marauder, a direct adjutant of the Chieftains will. An honoured position, one he still firmly believed Hraelga Nacht had never earned.

Regardless his opinions on their state of character and their ideas were two separate entities. Tathra was right, of course. They had to remain vigilant. The survival of those before them would fall on the them; the Chieftain and the Primarch. They would hold the greatest sway.

Hraelga's appraisal and support garnered a respectful nod from Hrajlmak. Rarely had they worked together, but Hrajlmak knew to appreciate her tenacity as a warrior, even if her name was shrouded in as much controversy as his own. At least there they shared common ground. Hrajlmak shifted into a more comfortable stance, still leaning somewhat on his staff. He eyed the gathering before him, briefly glancing the Chieftain and Primarch Drek'ma.

There was commotion among the Ish'makra, the key members remained silent whilst the delegates discussed among themselves. The Hierarch of the Seers in particular, was quiet. Though this was no strange occurrence, in such debates those who had seen battle usually spoke up rather than those who relayed prophecy. However that did not stop the commotion from the other Seers nor the other affiliates of the Barricas.

However there was more commotion -almost directly to the comments from Hraelga, some outrage. In their minds, the Marauder had misspoken. Their words seemingly pointed toward the insult of the Shamans rather than anything on Hrajlmaks behalf. Even so, some of the Ish'makra were able to take away positives from the speech.

The Primarch placed his free hand on his brow, massaging his brow
. He had hoped that the testimony of the Marauder would have tipped the scales in Hralmak's favour, however that did not seem to entirely be the case. However the testimony of two would perhaps shed some light on the positive qualities of the Shaman-in-exile. Galak was a renowned General, one of the few survivors of the Death Field of Kesh. He carried an air of respect few did.

"Thank you, Marauder Hrealga. The Ish'makra now cals on Marauder Galak to speak on behalf of the Shaman Hrajlmak."

The mention of Galak turned a few heads, a rumble in the Ish'makra of similar proportion as when Hraelga was called upon. Whilst Hraelga was a powerful assassin, Galak was an entirely different animal; he was a Warrior and a Leader. Hraelga stood up for Hrajlmak's ability to fight whilst Galak would no doubt know if he could lead.

Galak had an idea, he knew his words would no doubt help. But he would also wish to simply show the Ish'makra why Hrajlmak would be a good choice for the role of a Warlock, a fighter who would stand alongside the Brutes of the 10th as Hrajlmak had done many times before. When the Marauder was called, he made no grand gestures; no words were spoken as he descended from the high-raised platform to stand opposite he who he'd speak in favour of.

Galak knew that Hrajlmak at his heart wished for what was best for the Bryn'adûl. The Ish'makra were silent as he moved down; working his way through the crowds of delegates and toward the platform.

It was then that an Aeravalin Delegate of the Shamans spoke out; "You would have some Baedurin Brute tell us what to think of this Exile?"

Galak's swaying palms quickly turned to fists as he thrust out his right hand toward the Shaman, a finger thrust in his direction. He called out a slur in their mother-tongue.

"Come here and say that, whelp!"

Drekarys' clawed hands clasped themselves behind his back, broadening his shoulders and squaring his form. His mandibles clicked absent-mindedly in no particular pattern or order. He had found a spot where he was sufficiently isolated from a bulk of the crowd, his hearing organs flexing, isolating the crowd from the meeting itself. While the Highest Caste's opinion was the only one that truly mattered, Hrajlmak would need the support of the Bryn'adûl as a whole if he wished for the Shamans to truly make the transformation.

The crowd in itself could not seem unified one a single opinion, but what else could one expect? This was politics, after all. The Shamans in the crowd seemed to share a disdain at the implication they were inferior in combat. They were comprised of mainly Aeravalin, as was typical but unfortunate. For they were the most prideful of the races, loathe to be considered inferior or equal unless proven otherwise. Yet the Brutes in the crowd seemed to share in the opinion of the Shamans being inferior in front-line fighting and combat. No amount of honeyed words could stifle racial prejudice and competition.

However, the crowd truly flared into opposing emotions when the Aeravalin Delegate spoke out against the Marauder Galak. The Brutes and Baedurin were hard pressed not to rise out of their seats in protest and anger, while the Aeravalin were equally insulted at the Brute's insult to the delegate. An insult to one was an insult to all, when it wasn't personalised, that is. And the Marauder had just given one of the worst possible insults, an insult to their strength. The Marauder Hraelga had riled them by calling them inferior fighters with equal potential as a Baedurin, and the Marauder Galak had started the fire.

Auditory gasps filled the Shaman's end of the chamber, a multitude of voices layered over one and other in a mass of confusion. Some joined the Shaman in his comment toward Galak whilst others defended the Maruders right to speak, having been called forth by their own Primarch. The Ish'makra seemed primarily distraught concerning the disruption caused - not by the approach of the Brute of the 10th.

The Hierarch of the Seers raised a singular hand; calling for quiet. "We must trust our kin to do right by the tenants of our great Titan. We have seen Marauder Galak for what he is, a true Warrior and Zealot of our beliefs. He is a leader of our most treasured instrument against our foe. Do not discredit him nor his word. Baedurin and Aeravalin alike, have great warriors of our Crusade. See past the stifled prejudices."

The other Seers communally agreed, many Shamans joined in the chorus of voices agreeing with the wise Seers as they attempted to cool the heads of those involved.

The Primarch was appreciative of his Seer-kins efforts to ease the tensions between the Barricas and Shamans at this moment. Marauder Galak was undoubtedly a Warrior of renown. The Shamans under him did themselves a disservice by insulting him in such a crude manner. They mirrored the poorly driven actions of the Exile in their cowardly manner.

The Primarch rose from his seat, unblinking eyes immediately finding the gaze of the Shaman who had spoken ill of the Marauder.

"This Marauder is an extension of the Chieftains will, this insult is not only to Galak but also to our Sire. Not to mention, you may openly challenge him if you believe Galak unfit of his station. If not, and you wish to persist in this heretical fashion you truly are no Warrior."

The unblinking gaze of the Shaman Primarch did little to dissuade the threatening nature of his comment. Whatever commotion had been excited amongst his subservients would be dealt with swiftly. The matter at hand was of much greater importance.

Though she cared little for the entire ordeal in regards to Galak's testimony during the preceedings, Hraelga did get quite annoyed by the shamans just blatantly voicing their opinion when the newly appointed Marauder was about to speak. No tonly was it disrespectful to Galak (which really did not matter to her personally), but it was also disrespectful to the Ish'makra, the Primarch present and most certainly a grave show of disrespect to the Chieftain himself, as disrespecting a marauder was almost akin to disrespecting the Creator himself...though thise may have been different from marauder to marauder.

"My apologies for speaking out of turn," Hraelga made a nod towards Primarch Drek'ma Primarch Drek'ma to show that she did not mean any disrespect with this disruption of the preceedings, before turning to the Shamans directly under Galak's control. "You lot will head the words of your superior, be he brute or not, he is still a Marauder and thus deserves to be heard BEFORE you spout your own opinion on the matter. I am certain that the Creator would not decide anything without hearing what you have to say, but for now...silence.

With that being said, she made another nod to both the primarch and Galak Galak , eager to hear what the Brute had to say about all of it.

An explosive growl erupted from the Titan, his distaste for the flatulent threats and insults thrown on full display. His dominant hand ached to call the Long-Axe to his grasp. Tathra sat forward, he did not rise nor look to any one soul in particular. His stringent voice overpowering everything else within the chambers.

"I will not have one of our finest Generals so openly disregarded in such a way so unlike our own. That is not our way! The next to speak - out of turn.. will not enjoy the moments that proceed that action."

There was a flippancy to his words, a flippancy that reminded all that what he spoke was simply factual - simple calculus. None would contend with him, none would rend flesh from him until his work was done. They knew he meant his threat to all in this hall. Part of the hubris of being Creator itched at his restless form under the heavy clad armour; he'd kill them all and build the Ish'makra anew if he had to. But he truly hoped it would not come to that.

"Proceed, Marauder Galak."

"Thank you, Sire."

The Marauder bowed deeply to the Chieftain; fist firmly pressed against his chest plate.

"Hear me! My kin! Aeravalin, Baedurin... it does not matter! We are Draelvasier my fellow Warriors! We are Crusaders! We are children of Khaeus." Galak carefully made use of the Primarch's words, bowing his head to the Chieftain as his eyes flashed between the two.

Galak's heavy footsteps echoed through the chamber. It now seemed that once Tathra had reigned them all in, they were hanging on every word - or at the very least just listening.

"That is why I ask you to listen to my words. This, Drael. Hrajlmak. I have fought alongside him in many battles, from great distances to inches between us I have seen his nature. He is a Warrior, as are some of his Warlock kin. I say, let them at least try. Honour the vow of our tenants to purge weakness, and give this Warrior the opportunity to seek his purpose. To find purpose for himself and others."
