For years, the Eternal Empire has been building its strength. Watching, waiting in the shadows, waiting for the right time. To the rest of the galaxy, the Eternal Empire has presented itself as nothing more than another authoritarian regime, run by another power-hungry dictator. But not all is as it seems. Unknown to all, the Empire is ruled by the Wardens of the Shroud, an enigmatic secret society with a dark agenda more ambitious than anyone has so far suspected. For years, they have been pulling the strings, guiding the Empire on a path only known by them, sharpening it into a deadly weapon with which to achieve their highest and most secret goals.

Long have the Wardens, their Empire and their mysterious leader Darth Tacitus, been plotting and scheming the downfall of everything they see as corrupt, lazy, self-indulgent. Planning meticulously to reshape the galaxy in their own image, that of a hardened, militaristic society built on the principles of strict order, discipline and duty above all else. A galaxy of soldiers, free of what they see as the heinous degradation of civilization orchestrated by the one thing they hate above all else: the Force.

Intent on betraying their former allies, the Eternal Emperor and his followers intentionally leaked false information to the Eclipse Rebellion, an insurgency plaguing the Empire's operations, pointing to a supposed slave processing facility on the Sith Imperial world of PL-40112-CE-021105 where an army of Sithspawn is supposedly being bred for sale to the Eternal Empire. Then, seeking to draw both the Sith and the Rebels into a conflict against eachother, all in one place, the Eternal Empire falsely warned the Sith of an impending resurgence of Terrible Glare cultists, the same cultists the Sith had expelled from the planet in the past.

Thus, the Eternal Empire prepared its ruse, its plan to play both sides against the middle, so that the Kalidani regime may advance its interests at the cost of the suffering of both.

OPERATION IRON RAIN

Briefing file viewing by authorized EE and NIO personnel only
Greetings, officers. Despite our outward alliance with the Sith, EE-STRATCOM (Strategic Command) has determined that continued collaboration would be detrimental to the national interests of the Eternal Empire, due to the emergence of long-term conflicting interests and divergent ideological factors. The opportunity to deal the Sith Empire a mortal blow by drawing their leadership into a trap and annihilating it in its entirety, has presented itself and with strategic projections anticipating a major conflict between the Eternal Empire and the Sith within the coming years, the decision has been made to take advantage of the element of surprise and the Sith Empire's current geopolitical state in order to deliver a decisive blow to our future enemies. This operation has thus been authorized and initiated by EE-STRATCOM to be carried out on [DATE REDACTED - SENIOR MILITARY OFFICERS ONLY].

Operation Iron Rain is made possible due to a number of opportune factors, including the Sith Empire's ongoing civil war and the discovery of infiltration of EE-STRATCOM databases and communications systems by the insurgent group known as the Eclipse Rebellion. Rather than immediately update all security protocols and commence security sweeps to remove the infiltration, EE-STRATCOM has decided to use the infiltration to our own advantage.

Utilizing the compromised databases, EE-STRATCOM has planted false intel indicating a secret contract between the Eternal Empire and the Sith, for the purchase of a fictitious new breed of Sithspawn. According to the false intel we have provided and backed up through a number of sources such as officials within the Imperial Assembly which are suspected of being sympathetic to the rebels, the planet PL-40112-CE-021105 contains a secret slave processing facility and laboratory beneath the Sith Observation Post on the surface, where the Sithspawn are supposed to be created by converting a large number of slaves through Sith alchemical rituals.

Utilizing information from our own spies and agents embedded within the rebellion, EE-STRATCOM has concluded that the rebels have indeed taken the bait and have assembled a force with which to attack the PL-40112-CE-021105 Observation Post, thus Operation Iron Rain is cleared to advance to phase two.

In order to draw the Sith leadership to the planet, EE-STRATCOM has issued a false warning to the Sith, of an impending resurgence of Terrible Glare cultists on PL-40112-CE-021105, the validity of which will be reinforced by the rebel assault upon the surface. In order to prevent the Sith defenders from gleaming too many details about the attacking force, a Fenris Type-D subspace cruiser will secretly enter the system at the same time as the rebel forces, immediately cloaking and deploying electronic jamming of communications inbound and outbound from the system, so as to prevent the ruse from being discovered and keep the Sith believing that the planet is being attacked by cultists.

According to our intel, the rebel assault force will be a fast, highly mobile contingent of 1-2000 ground troops, entering the system and launching from a small flotilla of capital ships immediately, while deploying starfighters to cover the landing force, which will consist mostly of light, fast air and landspeeders that will immediately attack the base. EE-STRATCOM currently has no information regarding the Sith response and forces that will be deployed.

Remaining cloaked, the cruiser will monitor the situation and await the arrival of the Sith counterattack, then will transmit a signal to the EE-NIO strike force concealed within a nearby system outside of the Sith border, within the atmosphere of a gas giant at [COORDINATES REDACTED - SENIOR MILITARY OFFICERS ONLY]. Upon receival of the signal to engage, or if communication with the Fenris cruiser is lost, EE-NIO elements will emerge from the atmosphere of the gas giant and execute a jump into orbit of the planet, where the Eternal Navy's 1st Fleet Section, along with allied NIO and mercenary units will dispose of the small rebel fleet and immediately engage the Sith naval forces in the system, while deploying EE-NIO ground forces for an assault.

Consisting of the Sixteenth Armored Division and allied NIO and mercenary assets, the ground assault force of thirty thousand soldiers shall deploy to the planet’s surface and establish a forward operating base designated Firebase Exigent and then will proceed to split off its forces into two additional smaller firebases designated Alpha and Bravo, surrounding the Sith observation post, as well as the Sith forces on the planet, then proceeding to engage the Sith defenders with extreme prejudice. Enclosed within this file are detailed briefings and all available intel about the operational area.

Good luck, officers. May your service to your nation be long and filled with accomplishments.

Objectives:
IB83Y1S.png
The initial Imperial incursion into the system will consist of only a single cloaked cruiser, which will remain hidden within the system in order to await the arrival of the rebels and monitor the situation. The Imperial naval assault force, consisting of the 1st Fleet Section along with allied and mercenary assets from the New Imperial Order and Black Suns, will be waiting in a nearby system outside the Sith borders, at a hidden staging area, hidden in the upper atmosphere of a gas giant.

Once the signal is given and the Imperials receive confirmation that the rebel forces have arrived in the system, the Eternal Navy and allied assets will immediately jump into orbit above PL-40112-CE-021105 and attack the Sith forces there, while deploying the ground assault force.

The initial rebel naval force consists of a small, but well-equipped force consisting of two Monarch-class Star Destroyers and one Endurance-class Fleet Carrier, who’s objective is to simply hold out while the rebel ground forces complete their mission, however several reinforcements will be waiting in a nearby system, on standby in case this turns out to be a trap. Once the ruse is discovered, these rebel reinforcements may arrive in the system to bolster the rebel presence already there in an effort to aid in the evacuation of rebel units on the planet.

Imperial naval assets will, for the most part, ignore the rebel ships and focus mainly on the Sith naval presence in the system, however the rebels will have to engage the Imperial ships if they deploy interdictors, which may cause complications to the Imperial objectives.

NCWgE7K.png
The rebel ground assault will consist of a small, but well-equipped, highly mobile force of 2000 light infantry and fast, heavily-armed landspeeders, supported by several squadrons of starfighters and bombers. Due to uncertainties regarding the validity of the intel and as their main advantage is speed and shock, the rebels will deploy directly outside the observation post, bombers and starfighters coming in first in order to engage Sith AA, clearing the way for the rebel infantry to advance upon the observation post.

Due to the laboratory facility supposedly being underground and thus, impossible to scout out and verify with surface observation, the primary objective of the rebels is to capture the security room of the observation post in order to both verify the intel and open the gates for the main assault force, which will be holding off the Sith defenders outside and engage the main facility if the information about the secret laboratory is confirmed to be true.

Once the ruse is revealed, the rebels’ main objective will be to make their way back out of the observation post, fighting off the Sith defense forces on the planet long enough to allow their force to evacuate back to their ships.

FiDJDAT.png
The main Imperial ground force will consist of the 16th Armored Division under the command of Darth Tacitus, along with Black Suns mercenaries and New Imperial Order allies. The Imperial ground force will deploy from the First Fleet Section once the signal to jump into the system and commence the operation is given.

The Imperial plan is to establish a landing zone, consisting of a line of field trenches and prefabricated fortifications, deploying artillery, infantry and heavy armor to encircle and wipe out the defending Sith forces. The Imperial ground contingent consists of six Ultranaut Regiments, all part of the 16th Armored Division, along with the allied assets, for a total of 30.000 infantry, plus vehicles, special forces and logistics personnel. Despite this large deployment, there is a distinct possibility that Imperial forces will be outnumbered, as the distance and the need for secrecy makes it impossible for the Empire to deploy a larger force, while the Sith have the home field advantage and could very likely deploy at least a comparably sized, if not larger force, however the Empire’s battlefield doctrine already accounts for numerical inferiority, compensating with a large artillery contingent of 3000 units, plus heavy anti-air and surface-to-orbit missile screens and close air support from dive bombers and starfighters.

Due to the presence of Sith AA, it is expected that a portion of the Imperial assault force will be shot down as it is entering the atmosphere and coming in to land. Dropships that are shot down may be crashing behind enemy lines and any surviving personnel is directed to take shelter in the nearby ruins and signal for rescue, holding off the Sith while the main Imperial force attempts a rescue operation.

If the LZ is secured, the Eternal Army assets will then move to the next phase of the plan, which is to systematically exterminate the Sith forces with a massive artillery barrage.

For a planet too insignificant to be named, which instead relied on a stellar cartographical designation, PL-40112-CE-021105 was set to play a key role in the future of the Sith Empire.

Regardless of the planet’s ungainly designation, the mirador tower constructed atop one of the outpost’s thick stone walls reflected the same Sith-Imperial sensibilities found throughout the Empire. A long conference table ringed with utilitarian (though surprisingly comfortable) chairs dominated the centre of the room. Black and blood-red banners bearing the iconography of the Sith Empire rested in stands in each corner of the room. Secretary droids carefully arranged datapads and refreshments in preparation for the forthcoming meeting.

The major difference from other examples of Sith-Imperial interior design, which was characterised by a spartan drabness, was the view. A single sheet of reinforced glasteel wrapped around the walls of the mirador tower and provided the occupants with an impressive and unobstructed view over the dissolute surrounding area. While usually occupied by sentries monitoring the perimeter of the base, Tithe had requested the room be made available to him to provide an impressive backdrop for his meeting.

Before Mygeeto, Tithe’s stock had been on the rise. He had distinguished himself at Kintan then later Mandelore. The bureaucrat had established himself in these battles and more as a rising star within the Sith-Imperial Banking Clan. His path to the lofty heights of Grand Treasurer was all but assured once he fulfilled a short term as Moff of Sector Group II, a minor detour to give him the expected experience as a regional governor before his next promotion.

But the defeat of the Sith Empire at Mygeeto had changed everything. Blame for the disastrous loss had fallen on the shoulders of a small number of Sith-Imperials, including Tithe as the governor for Sector Group II. He fell out of favour just as quickly as he had risen.

Thus, the importance of his meeting.

Tithe was now forced to rely on independent contractors to get cargo and weapon moved between the worlds in his domain, courtesy of the New Imperial Order cutting Sector Group II in half. Interstellar Shipping was proceeded by a reputation unmatched throughout the galaxy when it came to getting cargo delivered in hostile circumstances. Malicar Raith, the CEO of Interstellar Shipping, had not been named in the Top 50 Most Powerful Sentients for nothing. Tithe himself had come in at Number 36 in the same year - he should check where on the list Malicar had landed.

If the Moff could get much-needed supplies to his worlds, he could reinforce the bulwarks against the NIO. Retaking Mygeeto and Scipio back from the enemy would take more than a freighter full of blasters. However, a steady flow of supplies would go some way to restoring his honour and standing within the Empire. PL-40112-CE-021105, located far away from the NIO or the Silver Jedi Order, was the prefect locations to transact such sensitive business.

The timing and location of the meeting were not ideal. The two intelligence agencies of the Sith Empire - the Saaraishash and the Foreign Intelligence Network - had picked up chatter indicating an imminent attack by cultists. For whatever reason, the cultists were determined to summon extra dimensions monsters. To what end, Tithe did not know or care to imagine - he left such pursuits to the Sith sorcerers and scientists. The Legion and Armada commanders had given their assurances that they could handle the minor inconvenience. Moving the meeting would have caused Aerarii to look weak, and he wasn’t about to do anything that would threaten his bargaining position.

A chime rang out through the conference room to signal the arrival of Aerarii’s guest, who he moved to greet. “Ahh yes, Mr Raith, wonderful, yes come in, come in. A pleasure to make ahh your acquaintance. I, ehhh, I apologise for having to meet under such minacious circumstances. Please, please, take a seat.”

Ingrid didn’t want this war…

Not long before, she expressed her views and concerns face-to-face to the Emperor. In the last few months she fights for the Sith Empire, and now they are going to betray them. They did everything too quickly, they went too far in too little time. She was concerned that the TSE would join forces with the CIS to wipe out the Eternal Empire from the face of the galaxy. She would do exactly that instead of Darth Carnifex Darth Carnifex . She stood beside her emperor on the bridge of the flagship. Perhaps for the last time, as she did not know what the future would bring. She knew she was playing with her life, but she took on the task.

She only regretted not being able to tell Tubrok, she could not tell him what might be why she gives her life. To tell him that she still loves him anyway, that she has a lover beside him. She didn't even have a chance to tell Adrian to her husband, who would surely have been glad that Ingrid had found someone next to him for the first time since they'd been together. Her husband had lovers since they knew each other, but Ingrid had stood by her until now, no one followed her husband until he met Adrian. She sighed softly and turned to her emperor.

<”If we arrive at the system I’ll go and start our project; I hope that I will succeed and return to you as we expect. Wish me luck my Lord, I hope we didn't meet for the last time”> she told her Emperor.

She wasn’t really a sentimental kind, but now she was a little worried, though fortunately this was not felt in her words, in her voice. Maximum from the way she put it in his words. She was not afraid of her own life, if she dies, then she dies, she was not yet afraid that she could not return from death. She was much more afraid that this would break Tubrok's heart and how her husband would bear her death. Which he probably never gets an explanation for.

<”Promise me something Aldus, if I fail and they will kill me, tell it Tubrok, tell him everything why I gave my life. Promise me this, my Lord!”> she message telepathically.

Now they just had to wait to go to the other system, so that the invasion could begin. She still stands militarily, her hands behind her back, standing in a small outstretched side next to her Emperor. She looked at the fleet and space from the bridge of the ship. It’s probably a matter of minutes and everything will change, forever.

She didn’t want this war…

Xanesh arrived on the planet on business, which was quite on the fringes and nothing could be found here, but that made the place perfect. For Ireria, the historical stuff was interesting, but for Benûwia, how well alchemist experiments could be conducted here, possibly populate the planet with sithspawns. Xanesh two halves examined the planet and the base in two different ways. Both halves are fond of this place. She even had in mind that she would ask someone, she could to work here. Such a base could always be useful.

She was just outside, in the air, she sat outside and held a datapad in her hands. She read the collected materials on it, she didn't have to sit downstairs in one of the rooms. Since she joined the Primyn Group she has been starting to find her place again and again. But even so it was not easy. But at least she set out on that path and was finally able to deal with something she loved, and which was really her specialty.

She read data about the planet, histories and everything else, flora, fauna. She saw many opportunities in this place, how to make it really dangerous, and of course how an excellent experimental site could be set up here. And how archaeological finds could also be fully exploited. She just needs to find the right ally for all of this, with whose help Xanesh can achieve it all. Most of all she lacked her network of contacts, without it, it was difficult to thrive and here she was just beginning to rebuild it. Maybe she has to write a letter to the leaders of the Primyn Group.

In principle, he even had a meeting here with a young girl looking for a master. Xanesh didn't really think she would find a disciple for herself so soon, that is, rather a disciple will find her. Where were the good old days when she was selected for days or weeks from the Korriban Academy for a perfect apprentice? Well, if the girl will not prove useful or she is not good, she will die, that was the way of the Sith. Whe weak will die, and only the strong will prevail…

The Sith Empire had been tipped off to a potential incursion by rebel insurgents upon one of their listening posts on PL-40112-CE-021105. Grand Moff Aut-X considered this a prime opportunity to catch them unprepared AND act as a suitable test for his newly constructed droid forces. The outpost had been fortified with trenches and defensive emplacements, and a sizeable force of Battle Droids supported by a column of AAT Tanks manned the defenses. The site of the battle to come was so far silent. Aut-X looked out from the top hatch of his personal Defoliator Tank which acted as his command vehicle, scanning the horizon with a pair of Macrobinoculars.

"We have made what preparations we can given the time we had available, Lord Prazutis. We must simply wait for our foe to arrive and spring the trap we have laid for them. This will be a fitting test for my new droids.", he said with a hint of pride in his mechanical tone of voice, speaking to Darth Prazutis via holocommunicator. One of his OOM-series Command Droids approached, clambering up the side of his tank to hand him the latest report. "Thank you, OM-7. Keep me appraised of the status of our troops.", he said to the droid, who cheerily replied with a chirpy "Roger roger, sir!"

It was a mystery to Adrian how the Order of the Terrible Glare had recovered from what was supposed to be an extermination, but they had. No matter, what was broke once could be broken again and this time the Sith would be much more thorough.

Had they any wisdom, the cultists would have praised whatever eldritch gods they worshipped for their mercy and retired to a life of quiet.

"How goes the evacuation of the specimens, Agent?" Nodding with satisfaction as the woman answered in the affirmative, the Dark Councillor returned his attention to the rather fascinating flora before him. Truly, the long-term influence of stranger realms had done wondrously horrible things to its intrinsic nature, things which were not immediately apparent to the uninitiated.

There was much that could be learned from them, he was sure, and so Grand Moff Aut-X's defoliator had been an unacceptable risk.

"My Lord, we've got something on the sensors, please consider proceeding to more fortified quarters." Shaking his head, he continued to merely observe the immobile piece of foliage, as if waiting for something to happen. "Nonsense, if push comes to shove I'll simply unleash my Sithspawn."

"Something tells me this'll be over in no time, however."

The spy stood in his seat within the shuttle as the rebel fleet jumped into the system, checking his weapons one last time to make sure everything was ready. Last thing he needed was a malfunction or some mishap in the heat of battle, especially this battle. His pistol's power cell and magazine fully loaded and his lightsaber strapped securely to his forearm, in the holster hidden up the sleeve of his crimson-colored coat, Will gritted his teeth in anticipation as the ship beneath him lurched, a sign that the rebel flotilla had reverted from hyperspace.

The rebels were still suspicious of the intel, he could tell from the nervousness and hesitation in the eyes of the infantrymen around him, but the laboratory facility was supposedly under ground, making visual observation impossible unless the above-ground outpost itself was taken. Clever. It forced the rebels to deploy their forces, anyway.

Somewhere within the system, jumping in at the same time as the rebel ships, there would be a single Imperial vessel, a Fenris cruiser, cloaking and monitoring the situation, prepared to sever communications in and out of the system. Yes, there it was. His comlink crackled and fizzled, the telltale signs of electronic jamming. The shuttle lurched again, then shuddered as it hit the planet's atmosphere, officers on comms struggling with the jamming to inform their troops that they were deploying. In-system comms were still working, it turned out. It was only intersystem communications that were being jammed, sending a few alerts throughout the rebel fleet, most rebel commanders aboard the hulking vessels assuming the jamming was put up by the Sith.

The shuttle swerved, it ducked and weaved, descending in a pattern intended to avoid the AA fire coming from the ground. Will clenched his jaw, loosened his blaster in its holster and drew his lightsaber. It was time to put on a good show for the Sith, to lure them in, but as the shuttle dived down, his thoughts went to Karma Jayne Karma Jayne , the Zeltron girl he had left behind with his ship, their ship, on Varunda IX. He wondered if she was thinking of him, too, as he was about to enter battle.

The Admiral watched the tactical display on the bridge of the flagship, eyes on the data transmitted by the subspace cruiser. The vessel, known only as U-424, emerged from hyperspace at the same time as the first rebels began their assault, just one more hyperspace signature amongst the rebel ones, then immediately cloaked and engaged its EWAR suites to jam communications in and out of the system, except Imperial frequencies. The Grand Admiral did not know if the Sith communications system would be able to shrug off the jamming, but he was confident in his little cruiser, it was a state of the art cruiser, afterall, cutting edge and highly classified at that. Most of the galaxy didn't even know if the Fenris cruisers did indeed exist, or if they were just another conspiracy theory, uttered in seedy cantinas by bored drunks looking for fifteen minutes of fame.

There it was, the feed from the system. It looked like the rebels had indeed began their assault, the first rebel shuttles were heading in to land. Now, all that was left to do, was wait for the Sith response and then the trap would be sprung.

Then, the Empire would jump into the system and crush them.

"Open a channel," the Grand Admiral ordered. "Fleet-wide frequency."

"Lord Broka, Commodore Sularen, Eternal Navy forces are standing by. Prepare your fleets for hyperspace jump on my orders and await the signal to proceed,"
he instructed the others. "I have been informed that the first stage of the operation has begun, the rebels have commenced their attack on the planet. As soon as the Sith commence their counterattack, we will jump in and engage."

The bridge of the Arbiter, the Eternal Empire's flagship, concealed as it was in the upper atmosphere of some gas giant in the closest system with the rest of the fleet, exploded in a flurry of activity. The upcoming battle would be a titanic confrontation, but the Imperial morale was high.

Who Will Save The World?
I am too young to die.

Used to be true once upon a time, some years back. Now? Lived older than expected. We all did, I think. How was a nasty karker like Krayt still kicking? Big arse of a mountain and still managed to get through another day. Only the good die young, that's what we all found out to be true. Foul, loathsome, crude sunsuvbitches like us, Gladius Company, we were karkin' immortal, I tell ya.

No wonder they sent us to aid this devious and disgustingly backstabbing plan of the Eternal Empire. Paired us with an equally obnoxious unit - Bad Company, formed us a Joint Task Force. Cause it sounds serious.

Bingo was cheating some of the Bad Company folks at sabacc. Hooks was asking around for the number of some red-haired baroness he'd heard about. Krayt and Hawkeye were inspecting their weapons and avoiding socializing at any cost; the fit more with these Ultranaut freaks than with us, I will be frank. Meanwhile, Faceless leaned on the wall of the hangar far from any sentient, his alchemized vibroblade sheathed on his back. Freak.

And me?

I was using a crate as a makeshift table on which I had put the small hologram projector. It emitted in its usual blue light the intelligence reports of their objective.

"The surprise is our best bet on reaching either firebase Alpha and Bravo. We'll need to focus on getting on that ridge here first, give us the higher ground, get arty up there and proceed with caution further in closer to the observation post. Intel says it's surrounded by heavy plant overgrowth which will make approaching it risky." I told Captain Hraskinn. "Strike fast, strike hard."

The Sith observation post was where Vanessa Vantai and her forces were appropriately concentrated. She had brought with her a substantial contingent of Darktroopers, along with a small unit of radtroopers and her own bloodtrooper guards. The radtroopers had placed several Atomic Demolitions Munitions outside the perimeter of the observation post with both a hostile IFF proximity detonator and a remote detonator to allow for ease of use in the event ground forces came near. To the Sith forces, these locations were explicitly clear and visible on friendly map systems.

Vanessa sensed something was wrong upon the arrival of the rebels in the system, the notice being passed to all forces at the observation post. The only available air support Vanessa had was a mixed squadron of Eightgun-class Assault Fighters and Forge-class Interceptors, which were quickly readied and in the air by the time Will Westender Will Westender 's shuttle arrived.

"Someone's here." She said to Grand Moff Aut-X. "Get the weapons active and be prepared for an incursion."

As the shuttle Will was on arrived, an Eightgun would get behind it and open fire with its eight xaser cannons. Despite no longer being frontline equipment, the Eightgun still had more firepower than any fighter the Sith possessed. A Forge would fly right behind it, waiting for the sign of an enemy so it could perform the traditional 'snapback' maneuver and get behind any engaging targets with its superb maneuverability. They would be reinforced by fire from ground-based anti-air cannons. The troopers ducked down in their positions and readied themselves for whatever was to come.

Kyrel found himself impatient on the Eve of battle. This was the way it had always been for him for over a decade of constant strife and struggle. Ever since Kaeshana as a Disciple of Ren. For over a decade he had felt this anxiety. Then when the battle started only adrenaline and desire led the way.

The Sith it seems while he had time to reflect since Mygeeto, were struggling from the fallout of their borders being broken. He had felt currents in the Force stir since the battle currents he had not felt since the First Order assaulted Mustafar. It had seemed that the will of the Force was telling him something. Seeing as how he was denied a duel during Mygeeto he longed that perhaps this time a Sith would fall by his hands, even if he had to die there as well. He even had an inkling that he himself may die when his mother appeared in a vision before him as she spontaneously rather did since he killed her. Always tempting him back to accept the light within him. To let go of his rage.

The plan from what he was told was rather straight forward. The EE sought to kill two birds with one stone. Letting the Rebellion that plagued them act as pawns till a signal was given not only unleashing the might of the Empire but the likes of the Black Sun syndicate as well as the New Imperial Order on both space and ground. For which why he was here. If the New Order helped the victory here the morale of the Sith could further be broken.

According to his doctrine and teachings. Like the First Order the Sith would collapse when allowing the dark side to embody one man. That was they're folly. The dark side was wild like a beast only craving chaos and destruction for one nation attempting to dominate rather than serve it would cause the darkness to destroy them. As it had for every empire. The Sith were no exception.

Now Kyrel waited in meditation when the signal was given he would go where the Force willed it. He had a feeling that even he could not explain. Even among the anxious feelings he held before a big battle. He knew that there was an air of Destiny but until he was signaled to enter the battle even he did not know.

It was a tough conversation to have. She thought my service was over. So did I. But they needed one last run out of me, to some planet named with some series of numbers I could never remember, as many times as the holodocs and intel reports listed it out effortlessly. Rebels, the Eclipse. They were terrorists and I was told this was our chance to take them out, finally. Once and for all. All the same, we'd be striking at the heart of the great demon the Empire had been aligned with for far too long.

The Sith Empire. Even though we were allies, we fought alongside them when they tried to dig their fingers into the Silver Jedi territory and take Kintan. But they ran away broken and battered. I was there with Kainan Wolfe Kainan Wolfe when we assaulted the city. We did our duty, did it well. Somehow, we still ended up on a jump back to Kalidan fruitless. With two Emperors on the field, I couldn't understand why. Maybe that was what drove the rebellion to begin with. All the same, we were fighting along side the same Imperials now as we were at Kintan. Stormtroopers trained up from Irveric Tavlar Irveric Tavlar 's 12th Armored Assault, the Sith element that broke through New Kalandra.

We were waiting and as much as I should've thought about the objectives, the battle ahead. I could only think about my love back home. She hadn't ever wept like she had then before a deployment. She'd always understood but somehow, knowing this would be my last, she couldn't take it. No doubt it had something to do with our little girl. She'd been ailing from some inexplicable sickness since before I last had my leave back home. I really shouldn't be here, I really should've called the tour before my last. But I wanted out on my terms.

"Strike fast, strike hard." I repeated the mantra with my New Imperial counterpart. From the few days our units spent familiarizing with the other, there wasn't so much of a difference between us. Across the galaxy, we were all just looking to make by. We all had our families, stupid lives and stupid jokes to share with one another. The only difference came when we equipped up for this. Where my eyes were concealed behind the beaming crimson of the Ultranaut, theirs were sheltered by the black and green tint of the Stormtrooper.

The Force. In the eyes of Darth Tacitus and the secret society he led, the secret society which controlled the Eternal Empire from the shadows, guiding its every action, shaping it, carefully forging it into a deadly weapon, nothing was more vile, or hated. To them, the Force was a hidden puppet master, an enemy of all living things, manipulating all living beings to its own ends, for its own gain, keeping civilization stagnant, fattening it up for the frighteningly frequent harvests which occurred in the form of galactic cataclysms with disturbing regularity.

The Force had many agents, many puppets through which it exerted its influence and its most powerful tools, its key unwitting agents, were the Jedi and the Sith. Long had Tacitus waited, planning, carefully preparing for his war against the Force. Months ago, the Force had struck the first blow, at Bursoll II. A deadly plague born from an ancient artifact, swept across the planet and it took the sacrifice of countless soldiers to stem the tide of horrors that was let loose on the world, a tide of horrors which could have decimated the entire galaxy had it not been stopped.

Now, it was time to strike back. To match the Force blow for blow and inflict upon it as much damage as was possible, to remove its influence from the galaxy.

The Sith Empire had, for a long time, been an ally to the Eternal Empire, but as the latter built up its strength and expanded its iron-gauntleted control over the Unknown Regions, Tacitus had known that this alliance would not last. The two powers could not be more different from eachother. One embraced decadence, self-indulgence and opulence, everything the Eternal Empire despised, while the other upheld principles of order and strict discipline, embracing moderation and duty.

One was a nation built by and for Force Wielders, where all toiled and served under them as slaves, while the other was a nation of hardened warriors, a government of soldiers, by soldiers, for soldiers. It was inevitable that the two would clash, a course of action dictated by nothing more than natural selection. No two apex predators would tolerate eachother for long, sooner or later one eliminated the other.

Standing in the cavernous hangar bay of his massive flagship, all these thoughts coursed through his head as he watched the proceedings, his helmet held under one arm as he listened to his apprentice speak.

His apprentice did not see what he saw, she had objected to his war, fearing an alliance between the Confederates and the Sith. But the Confederates were busy with their own war against the Agents of Chaos and they certainly would not make more enemies by signing a pact with the Sith. Not when the entire galaxy seemed determined to destroy the regime that the Zambranos built.

The alliance with the Sith had been useful, it had served its purpose, but at the end of the day, all alliances inevitably ended. Such was simply the way of things. It was better to strike now, better to reap the political advantages of supporting the New Imperial Order and the Galactic Alliance, to purchase an advantageous position for the Eternal Empire at the cost of Sith blood. Better to remove one of the most powerful and dangerous tools that the Force had.

It was nothing personal, really. Just politics. Just an expression of competition, of natural selection. It was how things should be in the galaxy. For too long, the Sith had been the dominant power in the galaxy and they had brought nothing but stagnation. It was time for things to change. He understood his apprentice's reservations, her fears. But this was a necessary evil, another one in a long list of necessary evils.

"Luck is for those who let themselves be ruled by the whims of fate. We are Imperials. We do not rely on luck, but on discipline and careful planning," he responded to his apprentice. "But I have confidence in your abilities, Ingrid. You have trained hard and worked hard to get to where you are, I am confident you will succeed."

To her request, he answered like she asked, telepathically. You will tell him yourself, when you return, he sent his silent reassurance without words. Her thoughts were of her husband, just as Tacitus' thoughts went to his wife, Vyra Silara Vyra Silara , whom had remained behind to govern the Empire while he led his people to war.

With that, he slid his helmet on, his eyes darting between his Wolfguards, all of them trusted soldiers who had been by his side since the beginning, since before there was an Empire at all, then to the two Voxyn obediently sitting on their haunches and the four ethereal shapes of the demons hovering around him silently, his secret weapon, his trump card and ace up his sleeve.

Soon. Very soon, his sword would taste blood once more. Sith blood. And then, when the dust settled, when the last of the Sith were killed, the galaxy would have much needed change.

Golden fiery eyes surrounded by black glared around at the scenery, There was nothing but tall thin trees around. Perfect for a landing spot since she had no clearance to at the actual base that was not to far away for Pallex. Her breaths deep and long as the breeze that hit against skin. Her ears taking in the aggressive rustle of trees. It was an unfamiliar world and yet coming here serves purpose. A purpose of becoming more than a skilled killer, she was going to venture down the path that would unlock her true potential. A potential that would give her a real future. She took five quick steps down the ramp of the fighter shuttle then her wings rushed up then down lifting her from the ground. Her finger would press a small button that would return the shuttle back to the shadow, a precaution Pellax took to avoid its theft or vandalism. It was something that had happened in her past and was a mistake she would not allow happen. Being stranded on a planet was an annoyance at the least.

As the two feathery wings pounded at the air below her she made a straight path to the meeting point. A base of some sorts a place she had no intel on. Her eyes kept scanning the tops of trees and out to the distance looking for anything that resembled the structure that Pellax saw on the way down to the world. It was not to long before she saw the top peaking above the canopy and as she got closer the trees became less and more thinly spread. From up in the air she could make out the rough shapes of people walking about. She swooped down coming closer to the ground below rapidly getting closer and closer to the building the shade of a dark graphite. Her wings angled up and the air pelted against them wishing to push them backwards, but gracefully they stayed in place till finally her feet touched the ground. The wings folded in as the woman walked to the main doors.

With a light motion of her hand the door in front whooshed open as she did not slow till reaching the desk. "I'm looking for someone, who is expecting me." She said as her hand moved behind her lower back. "And who is that someone?" The human woman said who was sat behind the desk. "Darth Xanesh." Pellax said trying not to butcher the pronunciation of the name. "She is on the upper level... outside." The woman simply did a slight nod of her head acknowledging the answer given. Turning on her heals she made for the door once more gesturing with her hand to open it. It could not be hard to spot a sith species that alone was the only description that she had gotten. Wings once more expanded as she bent her knees. With a single downwards push and a jump at the same time the woman would shoot up and forward enough to land on the upper level to which she saw the woman she was supposed to meet. At least she think she did. " Ardana Vorco Ardana Vorco ?" Pellax said in a way that sounded like a question and once more trying not to butcher the pronunciation. Which she had.

Another day, another war. Well, that's what Sergeant Tom 'Eyeballs' Sykes told himself. It was easier, this way. Easier not to think of his fiancé back home, to keep his mind off of things that would distract him and get him killed. He wondered if she was still waiting for him back home, on Kalidan, or if she found someone else already. Could he hold it against her? No, not after what he did.

Like everyone else in Bad Company, Sergeant Sykes was here because he screwed things up. This wasn't an ordinary unit, no, it was a penal detachment, the kind of outfit they assigned guys like him to. Disobeying a direct order, ah, that was one quick way to land in a place like this. They sentenced him to five years. Five years of battle after battle, until every day blurred past and routine settled in like a haze. So, here he was again. Another day, another war. Two more years to go, then he'd be out.

Today, he'd be working alongside a unit from the New Imperial Order, Gladius Company, an outfit as mean and as nasty as the one he was in, really just a bunch of tough-as-nails bastards, misfits and oddballs. They were all sitting in a section of the hangar, between a couple of dropships that were being worked on by flight deck rats. Both of them had the Bad Company insignia, worn down and weathered, with the slogan "Service Unto Death" stamped beneath it. On one of the dropships, someone had scratched out the slogan, then replaced it with a crudely written string of obscenities about someone's mother. Typical Bad Company. The Lieutenant was going to find whoever did it and tan his hide.

A bunch of other Ultranauts were sitting at a makeshift table, really a bunch of crates pushed together, playing Sabacc with the New Imperial guys and by the looks of it, losing their money. The Lieutenant was talking to the CO of the foreign Stormtroopers, while a bunch of the 'Nauts not interested in the card game were checking their weapons for what seemed like the hundredth time.

As for Sykes, he stood leaning against the wall, the heavy KC-M74S rifle beside him, while he busied himself by twirling one of the massive tungsten spikes the weapon fired, in his fingers. A nasty piece of work, that weapon was. They called it a designated marksman's rifle, but it was more like an anti-materiel weapon, one which propelled tungsten projectiles at a target with enough velocity to turn people into stains on the pavement.

The order to board the dropships would come soon, in the same flat, emotionless voice, delivered by the same PA system, with the same words it always did. Then, they would be rushing headlong into another hellhole. Another day, another war.

Commodore Marlon Sularen stood on board of the bridge of the
Predator. It only only been only 1 or 2 months since the Twin Seiges of Mygeeto and Munnilinst and already he was back in action. Despite the Sularen Association's recent blunders at Ord Mantell failing to secure Haon Hafey's former Corporate Facilities but nevertheless forcing him to evacuate his assets from Ord Mantell. To Marlon this along with his Promotion were victories as it would prove to be a major advancement in his plans. With his promotion to Commodore , Marlon was free to further expand his fleet and with Haon Hafey's Facilities abandoned , SularenCo could simply swoop in and secure the facilities once the New Imperial Order had arrived on Ord Mantell.

Everything was going well for Commodore Sularen as now with Wraith Squadron partaking in yet another Attack this time launched by the Eternal Empire , Sularen had another chance at promotion. Depending on how well he performed here on PL-40112 CE-21105 Marlon expected to receive another promotion somewhere around the resumption of the New Imperial Offensive against the Sith Empire along the Braxtant Run. Today was nothing but a repetition of what happened on Mygeeto.

Talking about Mygeeto , since the Battle of the Bloody Aurora , Marlon did some research in depth discovering who his opponent was a Chiss Admiral named Thaelius Ordo , yes the same Thaelius Ordo whom had joined the New Imperial Order in it's early days as a Major Power before being quickly arrested and exiled for his arrogant and disrespectful behavior. Marlon wasn't surprised that Ordo had joined the Sith as he figured that it would be natural for him to do so after the NIO kicked him out. Nevertheless Ordo was a skilled Military Tactician given at how be belonged to a species known for it's Military Traditions.

Further studying the previous Battle , Marlon had also realized that Ordo had left his fleet vulnerable during the entire attack due to the fact that his strategy was essentially prioritizing the defense of the Command Ship while disregarding the other ships though the only thing that nullified that disadvantage was the New Imperial Order's smaller fleet. However here , Marlon wound't only come with Wraith Squadron. Marlon had arrived with elements of his own Private Armada to assist Wraith Squadron. With more firepower and Starfighters , Marlon knew that this time he would not lose as he considered his last engagement with Thaelius as a defeat due to the fact , Wraith Squadron was at it's breaking point when Reinforcements saved the day.

Now ,Marlon stood on the Bridge of the Predator waiting for the ultimate signal to be given for the general attack. Soon enough the reinforced Wraith Squadron would arrive at PL-40112 and decimate the Sith-Imperial Fleet present and this time Marlon would defeat his former subordinate. Victory would be his as always as the New Imperial Commodore was growing confident for the upcoming battle. He needed all the luck he could receive for this Battle would be an intense one. It was only a matter of time before all hell breaks loose and Marlon was ready for that. Marlon was ready for anything.

Moff TV-771 "Bishop"

Location: Location: Sith Imperial Observation Post, Logistics Headquarters of Grand Moff Aut-X

TV-771, when it had been reactivated for usage as a Moff for the Sith Empire, had expected a great many things. The ability to administer a section of planets directly, putting down rebellions with the brutality it expected, and on the list went. It had only ever played the part of a governor's enforcer, an attack dog on a short leash, but its new master gave it a greater degree of freedom.

However, playing the logistics officer was not part of the job description. TV-771 lacked combat-oriented troops, its droids heavily outdated and the Axxian PDF horribly under-armed, and as such could not effectively play commander in this engagement. What's more: its fleet was specifically designed for administration and convoy escorts, not direct ship-to-ship warfare. Only the Trident, its favoured flagship, fit that description, though its age would have relegated it to a support carrier and nothing more. No, TV-771 had arrived with only the blaster on its hip and the freighter carrying several hundred metric tonnes of building supplies at its back. The Trident, and the rest of TV-771's forces, were left behind on Axxia, under the close supervision of OOM-101... or was it OOM-22...?

"The manifest from OOM-82, Governor." An OOM-Series battle droid, coated in the familiar green paint of the logistics company, stated, handing over a datapad. TV-771 accepted the device and quickly skimmed it.

"There were no requests for... seventy-two proton torpedoes in this sector, OOM-9. What would I even do with them?" TV-771 demanded, thrusting the datapad back into the now-startled droid's waiting hands.

"I don't know, sir."

"Then send them back to high command and tell them to do something worthwhile with them. The Grand Moff's forces lack the means to utilize seventy-two proton torpedoes."

"Roger, Roger." The logistics droid walked off, only to be immediately replaced with another, identical droids. TV-771 sighed inwardly, or at least did the droid equivalent of a sigh inwardly.

The danger of this mission was fairly low, but despite that, TV-771 had created contingencies for its contingencies in the event that the Empire showed any sign of losing. As per Trade Federation Officer Mandate 77-A1: "All officers of the Trade Federation must have at least three separate escape plans in the event of total catastrophe. Each of these plans must have five separate plans to ensure the highest chance of success and/or survival."

Besides, who would bother going out of their way to attack a logistics headquarters first when there were far more important targets? TV-771 would have plenty of time to escape if things became... tricky.

Shavara had taken on a different appearance for this invasion. Unlike the more feminine form she often used among allies, this was one of a man. Not that it was easy to tell what he looked like while covered in loose robes, covering her own robes, and wearing the sar-vuns-mask, hiding not only her face but disguising her signature in the force with that of its own. At this point the appearance of Sar Vun had been so incredibly wildly changing that attempting to figure out their physical characteristics had been completely abandoned. What was consistent was the use of alchemy, and the mask. Although the appearance of a mask could be replicated, the signature was harder. And Shavara had finally learned the codes for the Rebels.

She was working to keep herself calm, she was not a warrior. Unlike the real Sar Vun, long passed, she didn't walk around in full armor. Especially not against an army of blasters. She glanced at Will Westender Will Westender , and at his lightsaber. She had heard of the sith, and the jedi, and that there were others out in the galaxy who used such weapons. However, she had never actually seen one in person. She laid a hand on the wall, gripping as they began to descend, but then asked him a question. In that typical highly pronounced galactic basic. "You use a light saber. I am not familiar with Light Sabers. Why do you use it?" she simply stared waiting for an answer, or waiting for them to reach the ground.

Were this a year or two before, she might have tried to take a peek at his mind. Were she one of the other Vo Ni, she probably would have anyway. However she had come to the understanding that such action was considered intrusive. And while she would do it if it was required, such casual use of it she'd avoided.

Taozi was feeling many things as she waited with her fleet behind the more battle-oriented Imperials.

But mostly it was pure, unadulterated rage.

Oh how she wanted to burn the Sith. To slaughter them like the monsters they were. To melt them with their own acid wasps, just as they did to the innocent people of Concord Dawn. She wanted, needed, to end their filthy existence and wipe every single monster among them from the galaxy.

Today was not her day to do so.

The Alor's hands shook with emotion as she stood at the helm of the Fùyuán, her Clan glancing back at her occasionally with worry. Though Clan Tal held rage in their hearts for the Sith, none felt it as... Passionately as their Alor.

Those members who were sensitive to the Force were the only ones who could truly feel the absolute rage Taozi felt.

"<Feng, open comms to the rest of the Imperials.>"

"<Yes, Alor. Comms opening... now.>"

"This is Alor Tal. My fleet will wait to engage until the signal for Imperial Evac is given. Our ships are ready to enter the system at a moments notice... I eagerly await to see those monsters destroyed by Imperial forces."

Feng closed the comms at Taozi's silent signal, and went back to prepping the ship's systems.

Though her student stood behind her, Taozi could not bring herself to let him see the anger and hurt in her eyes.

It would be unbecoming of a teacher to show their student such emotions.
