Dominion Big Trouble on Little Courscant || Silver Jedi Concord Dominion of Nar Shaddaa

latest.png

Nar Shaddaa.

The Hutt Moon, overrun with criminal syndicates, spice dealers and the down and out of the galaxy. Formally, a seat of great power for the Hutt Cartel and it’s clans, then another forgotten planet and now finally being reclaimed by the Hutt leaders.

While not a place that most Jedi would call home, they’ve been called in to assist the Hutts as they secure the planet once again and once again get the planet locked down and under Hutt control.

As the Bryn’adul begin to move into Hutt Space, the Hutts put out a galaxy wide request for assistance (see here). The Silver Concord dispatched some of the greatest Jedi Diplomats among its ranks to discuss terms with The Hutts on the assistance that could be offered by The Silver Jedi Concord.

Like it’s nickname, Little Coruscant, would imply, this moon is covered across the surface with massive vertical cities. Unlike its nickname, however, the entire urban sprawl here is a decaying overgrowth. The air is dense with polluted smog, and crime infests nearly every street corner. It's a safe haven for smugglers, pirates, and lawbreakers of any kind, with much of the moon being controlled by contesting criminal organizations.

Arriving into orbit of the planet with nothing more than carriers and some defensive ships, The Silver Concord dispatched its shuttles to the planet surface and began their negotiations with the slimy Hutts in control.

Objective One - Talking to a Slug

As the Bryn’adul begin to move into Hutt Space, the Hutts put out a galaxy wide request for assistance (see here). The Silver Concord dispatched some of the greatest Jedi Diplomats among its ranks to discuss terms with The Hutts on the assistance that could be offered by The Silver Jedi Concord.

The Jedi and Hutts engaged in a sit-down to discuss the terms of the assistance that could be offered. Can our Jedi friends discuss with the Hutts and find the correct terms to form an unlikely friendship?

So, are you a talker? Can you persuade the Hutts not to eat people? If you can answer yes to either of these questions then feel free to come and join the action and show off your diplomacy skills!

Objective Two - Bloods vs Crips - Spacer Edition
Calling all Jedi!

As part of an agreement made with the Hutts, total control of the moon of Nar Shaddaa is required! However, due to being under no true government control for so long, many local gangs have taken up permanent residence on the moon.

Not for much longer.

As the Hutts moved into the system, a small local gang decided to take up arms against our slimy friends. They’ve requested our help to destroy this gang and ensure the Hutts have total control over the small moon so that they can run their totally legal operations in peace.

So, do you like to fight? Are you sick of these lawless criminal organisations thinking they can run the place and get away with breaking the law? If you are, this may well be the objective for you!

Objective Three - Dungeons and Dragons
Nar Shaddaa, nicknamed “The Smugglers Moon” served as the home to some large criminal organisations back in the older days of the galaxy. Serving as a home for many shady characters, there’s lots to find on Nar Shaddaa.

And that's where our Jedi Hero’s come in!

The Hutts have reached out and asked for support retaking an old Hutt Palace from the environment that has grasped it. As the former home of a very powerful Hutt, there’s many floors to explore and many traps to disarm.

Are you feeling brave? Can you navigate multiple floors and the threats that come along on each? If you think that you can, then come and join the adventure that awaits! There may even be some trinkets in it if you successfully get to the top!

Objective TLDRs

Objective One - Talking to a Slug

For all talkers and diplomats, this one's for you. Discuss terms with our Hutt friends and try and find a peace treaty that works for us and allows us to provide aid to the Hutts in the face of the oncoming Bryn’adul force.

Objective Two - Bloods vs Crips - Spacer Edition
For our fighters, this one's for you. Join forces with some Hutt soldiers and get to fight against some gang members in an attempt to secure the planet for the Hutt members.

Objective Three - Dungeons and Dragons
For our adventurous types, this one's for you. Work floor by floor through an old Hutt palace and take on different traps in an attempt to get some free trinkets and gifts!

Objective Two: Gang War
Dorn Company

Tulan was not happy about this. Whoever decided that the Space Slugs needed to be part of the Concord, obviously never set foot in their space. But it was fine. He'd done work with them before. Slavers, souls for sale. They'd live with that on their record. All part of the big map. If it were up to him, he'd kill all of the Hutts, and crucify them to make a point. They weren't good, they weren't decent. He wasn't even sure how they were in power. Something that could barely move on it's own, somehow had the sway over a whole sector.

Tulan primed the grenade, the bird flying low. Low-gravity assault bird. Rangers stacked up on each side, Hutt soldiers intermixed. Goons. Gangs, of some kind, were holed up in an entire city block. The Rangers were there to take back the city streets. Barricades, entrenched positions, snipers, the works. But the Rangers were starting from the top-down, establish a landing zone to bring in more troops. The cover of darkness helped.

Night-vision clad Rangers let their feet hang over the edge of the birds, while the landing team threw the initial grenades towards the sniper positions at the top of the roofs adjacent to them. Screaming thugs fell to the pavement below, a sickening crunch and the sound of explosions marking the arrival of the Rangers.

Tulan was the first on the ground, his night vision going down. No Katarn armor tonight- fatigues and night vision. Blending in with the locals, and all. He looked up, to the other assault platform birds landing Rangers across the rooftops. The Gang War ended tonight.

Tulan wondered if the Hutt soldiers would notice if a few of them went missing...the ones he really didn't like.

Objective 2

Yet again, Masaru found himself back on Nar Shaddaa. The mercenary had taken many jobs here in the past, and this was actually where his "partnership," if you could call it that, with the Silvers began. There was always trouble on Nar Shaddaa, always people who could be a danger to those who come here. It sometimes served as a good place to keep Masaru on his toes, though he never liked to stay too long. Eventually, it gets tiring having to stay on guard all the time.

Now working alongside with Hutt soldiers was a new one for him, and he didn't really know if helping the Hutts was the best idea, though it really didn't matter to him. This was a job, and he would make sure it was done. The gang members they were fighting were nothing new, Masaru had fought many criminal organizations in the past after all.

Before the battle began, Masaru made one more check on his equipment. When the assault on the gangs started, the mercenary moved in with the Rangers and Hutt soldiers, moving into a position that provided some cover. Now it was time to put down these gang members, and get this job over with.

Objective 1: Talking to a Slug

Too many Jedi thought of diplomacy strictly, or even mostly, in terms of security and military affairs. That was the reason why Jessica was on hand - she was there to handle what others did not. Yet unrest that could result in security problems was sometimes rooted in poorly handled issues of trade. With the delegation en route to Nar Shaddaa, she ought to review Hutt customs before any meeting with them gets underway. Understandably she feels nervous because Nar Shaddaa has a long history of security issues, and that was putting it lightly.

Lorda of Nem'ro and Hutt Republic Supreme Mogul
Objective 1: Taking to a Slug

Broka Nem'ro is among the few Hutt Lords that still have the drive for gain in both money and power rather than falling into the malaise of stagnancy that most Hutts have fallen into. A stidown between all the Hutt families happened not too long ago which exposed those of the Hutts that would lead the species into the future. Broka of Nem'ro, Gortta of Desilijic Tiurre, and Popara of Anjiliac were among those. These three Hutts were the ones every other lorda knew would be working to bring about the new Hutt Republic.

However, as fast as things were going at the time, the Bryn'adul were getting too close for comfort, and the Hutts reached out to the galaxy for aid against those beasts through Popara's message. Broka was waiting for such a thing to happen for a long time. A coalition of sorts against the monstrous neighbors from the edge of the galaxy.

When the jedi ships came to Nar-Shaddaa, Broka's servants gave him the news while he was in his family's sky palace. The other Hutts that were already beginning to fight off the lesser gangs that filled in the lost territories after the slave uprisings of old. Broka, upon hearing the news from the servant, lurched his massive self over to his broadcasting room, which Popara used for their message, to make the following holo-transmission to the Jedi ships:
(In Huttese of course)"<Jedi. I, Broka the Hutt of the Nem'ro Clan, welcome you to our world. The Hutts that are leading this effort before you got here, including myself, are at my Sky Palace. If you wish to meet us there, by all means come and enjoy the extravagance as much as you would allow yourselves. My guards will not stop your diplomats if you wish to talk future business.>"

Broka then went back into the room with the other Hutts to give them the message of what is happening. "<The Jedi are among the first to arrive after your call Popara. I have just made a transmission to them so they can come here and talk business with all of us. Now we wait for their diplomats to come. They are effective warriors, and should help greatly in the fight against those monsters invading our space.>"

As Broka sat back into his seat at the table in this meeting room, his fat folded over the chair in locations. He would then lean forward to reach for food, or sip his drink. He most frequently reached for the live eels, his personal favorite. He slurped them up one by one as they wriggled in his fat hand. All he could do was wait for the guests to come.

Willow and Ivy entered the room where their employer and protector Broka the Hutt Broka the Hutt was spending his time. The impending invasion by the Bryn was forseen by the siamese twins, as well as the arrival of the Jedi. They had informed Broka of this during his meeting with Queen Popara Queen Popara , Agrippa The Hutt Agrippa The Hutt and others. And now it was coming to fruition.

They made their way over to Broka and stood by his side, their arms wrapped around eachother's waists. Their robes did well to try to hide their physical connection, yet their Force Bond was sometimes easier to figure out.

"The pretty ones are arriving soon, Your Grace."

"Some sacrifices will be made, but the meeting will go well."

Objective 2: Gang War

Goyrg and his crew of Nem'ro Suns were already on a rampage. The group of gangsters would pull up to a casino from their boss' rivals, shoot up the place, and take every valuable item in sight. So far they have already taken out two of the neighboring casinos. Their speeder was getting heavy with all the loot from the past raids. Goyrg said to the man piloting, "Take this bucket back home for a bit. We're gonna take care a' the loot, an' then we'll get out for more skullbashing."

He then laughed in a deep tone rather maliciously. This war of pushing out the undesirable neighbors was the violence he loved. Once the loot from these raids were stashed securely, he'll take his boys out for more fun.

Objective Three: Dungeons & Dragons

Rune studied the holomap projected from his wrist comm. Then he looked up to see the actual palace itself. The process was repeated several more times. He decided that these blueprints were from quite some time ago.

He was standing a few hundred meters back while taking in the surroundings. An once opulent palace circled by unimaginable poverty. It made him sigh heavily. Nar Shadda was a place full of wrongs.

But there were bigger problems on the horizon than even this disparity. The Bryn'adul had taken an unhealthy interest in Little Coruscant. What the Hutts could do to the residents here paled in comparison. Unchecked, it would lead to genocide.

There had to be priorities. First, the Concord would safeguard this world against invasion. Then they'd right the numerous wrongs here. One step at a time, he had to remind himself.

The Mon Cal thumbed the off switch and proceeded to a side entrance. At least he hoped it was still there. This building was in a shambles. Complete disarray was the nicest thing he could think to describe the palace.

Locals ran by him as he walked across the street. Younglings dressed in little more than rags. Among all the filth and pollution of this seedy place. It stank of pollution and wrong here.

There was a whole lot of work to be done. Brooke was hoping that she could help fix some of the issues that she helped cause. The Witch-who-worked-with-Jedi was making her way through the streets of Nar Shaddaa, one of the lesser-known gems, one of the lesser Red Light Districts. When you got this far off the beaten path, there were only two reasons… You knew the dancers, or you were that hard on your luck. For her? She knew that some of the people Marek had worked with were out here. And with a bit of money, perhaps she could place them on her own payroll. One that would help the Silver Jedi Concord.

Making her way downtown, she was dressed fairly metropolitan, but not enough where someone would make her a target, at least she hoped not. Smiling as she looked for a few of the establishments, she saw one that clearly used to be a Bright Star E.G. property. Stepping in, she smiled to the doorman who tossed her a confused look.

Didn’t matter. She wasn’t here to make money, nor really spend it. But invest it. Stepping through the door, she was assaulted by spice smoke, and the lights and sound.

Wonderful.

Objective 1: Talking to a Slug

Negotiating with Hutts. She never thought that she would stoop so low. And yet, for the sake of the Mid Rim and everyone who could fall victim to the Bryna'dul, they would have to come to an agreement with the Crimelords. And as if that wasn't difficult enough on its own, she would also have to rely on a protocol droid to get this done.

Sakadi folded her hands in her lap as she waited for the shuttle to land on Nar Shaddaa. She was one with the Force. Tranquil, serene and calm, as she waited for the Hutts to transmit their welcome.

Once the holographic image of a Hutt appeared, the Sephi immediately glanced at the white protocol droid beside her, who began its hasty translation. His invitation did not strike her as the kind that required a response, therefore she decided against doing so. Instead, she would turn to the blonde-haired Jedi Master who also acted as one of the diplomats.

"Let's hope 'extravagance' does not mean they prepared a banquet for us. I'm really not in the mood to see Hutts eat... well anything, really." she would convey through her telepathy to lighten the mood a bit. "On a more serious note.. Do you think the Hutts will attempt to test us? Abuse our presence in their system?" The Sephi half expected that their negotiations were going to involve more than just talking. Her hand instinctively moved to her side, just to make sure that the metal hilt was still there. Whatever these negotiations were going to entail, she was ready to deal with it. Overcome it, if necessary.

Objective 2
Location: Assault Bird
Nearby: Tulan Kor Tulan Kor Masaru Varga Masaru Varga Goyrg

Centin sat quietly among the motley assortment of Rangers and Hutt warriors that shared one of the assault ships with him. Funny how things come full circle, he thought, thinking back to his own nearby home planet of Makeb. As a young boy Centin had worked in the service of the local Hutt cartel, and in doing so had come to despise their practices. He was fortunate enough to escape that life, yet now here he was, back in their service.

He looked around his fellow combatants, noting the readiness of the Rangers. They were a group he had heard plenty about, but he was yet to see them in action. Nearing the end of their approach, he watched across the sky as in another assault ship the landing team began arming grenades in unison, preparing a simultaneous explosive assault. What brutal weapons, he thought as they began their attack. The cacophony of explosions only furthered his view, his preference being the elegant precision only a lightsaber could offer.

As his own bird touched down, Centin leapt from its shelter onto an already body-littered rooftop. These Rangers sure are effective though, he thought, noting what their quick work had accomplished. He held his saber in hand, concealing its presence until it would be absolutely necessary. He dashed forward, alert to whatever danger would confront him first.

Dreidi hadn't been to Nar Shaddaa before, her father was never exactly keen on the place especially when she was younger. Which, from her knowledge of the criminal side of the planet, was far, but now she was a Padawan and was excited to explore the area her father once called home. He never really spoke of his childhood, and spoke even less now he was getting more and more ill. She didn't let herself think on his health, every time it would just get her down and she was keen on exploring Nar Shaddaa and trying to think of the troubles that her father might have found himself in.

Stepping off the ship, Dreidi looked around, she knew roughly the area that her father grew up in from things he mentioned and the fact that he had written notes to remind himself of things as he was getting worse with his memory. She looked around and lifted her hood over her head. It was not the place that she had envisioned. She had saw it as a fun, slightly seedy looking area but, it was just sad. Through the Force, she could feel the pain and suffering of millions. People fleeing the impending Bryn forces looking for sanctuary here and just starving and living in cramped conditions. Dreidi wiped a single tear from her cheek and sighed deeply.

How could her father have survived living here? Perhaps it was easier years ago, before the Bryn army was invading worlds and destroying them. There were plenty of alien races conversing and talking about black market deals, her language skills were nowhere near as good as her father, or even close to her father when he was her age. It was just something he tried teaching her but she was just wasn't as interested. There was things she had picked up and could get a general understanding of what other people were saying but nothing fluent. Looking around, Dreidi was curious how her father survive in this area, especially since she knew he was not raised by her grandparents. As she wondered, someone bumped into her in a crowd.

Objective: 1

Gortta continued to watch events unfold, casually shoveling for into his oversized mouth. As he watched, his thoughts drifted to his father. Most do not associate traditional family values with Hutts but the bond between parent and offspring was certainly one that was so primal that almost every known species could understand it. He missed his father in times like these. Unlike others, Grotta never had his father to lean on in times when he needed advice on how to conduct business deals. He still had his reservations about this alliance with the Jedi but for now, he would keep his concerns to himself.

Upon Broka returning, Gortta responded to the Hutt in Basic, "Skilled fighters they are, but let us hope that the price of their skill is not too high for us to pay." He took a sip of his drink, his mind again returning to his father, but this time also coming to the realization that he should start thinking about an offspring of his own to continue the family line.

He looked upon the ancient temple, realizing he was very much mistaken about it's size. From what the holographic showed it was a mid-sized temple. But what lay in front of him was enormous. Who knows how many years it took to construct it. How many millions upon billions of credits. How many slaces and workers lives it cost.

Shutting off his holomap he turned to his left where a new face stood. It was a Mon Calamari, and they appeared to be a Jedi. He had not seen him in the temple before, or anywhere else for the matter. They looked older than him, but he couldn't tell for sure. He wasn't an expert on alien-species ages. Walking over to the Jedi he began to start a conversation.

"Hello, are you helping search the temple as well? I haven't seen you around before so I thought I would come meet you. Oh, I'm Okkeus by the way. Okkeus Dainlei."

While he waited for the Mon Calamari's answer he thought about what the temple could hold inside. Lost treasure? Dark secrets? Hopefully something cool, becuase a good adventure gets him out of bed in the morning.

Here.

She hated this galaxy. All that filled the stars was war and greed, but not the greed her people had for money, flesh, properties, trophies and trinkets. On the north, the Third Sith-Imperial War blazed planets as both empires fought for sovereignty over that part of the galaxy, on the west the Galactic Alliance with their dream of democracy, the Confederacy drowned planets with their legions in search of terrorists, the Eternals filled the power vacuum left by the First Order with a iron fist, her criminal empire was suffering the most in this. Her spice production in Artorias was closed thanks to the hyperlanes being watched by the Sith, her flesh markets on the Pits was filled with heads to buy but with few buyers left she found herself with a constant debt of useless mouths to feed. And if someone asked her after the Hutts took Nar Shaddaa back from the petty criminals if she would ever dream of finding herself in her current situation Popara would have laughed for hours after killing the one that spoke those words. But there was a beast in the galaxy creeping at their borders, one that made her tail shrink in disgust and fear, as the Bryna'dul they swallowed whole planets, wiped out their populations, hunted survivors for sport and performed acts so profane that the Sith Emperor was said to be sick when he read their details.

And now the Hutts were next. The monsters were close at their doors, close enough for her to smell their despicable smell, filling their cities on the Smuggler’s Moon with refugees, with poor creatures carrying absolutely nothing with them, creatures that lost everything due to that war machine. Just glancing at them was enough to make her eyes get watery, not cry, never cry, she would never allow herself that weakness, and although she had beggars and usually tossed them at her pit on the Smuggler’s Run to clash against each other before the winner was devoured by her pets, that sight broke her heart. Truly.

She was the loudest voice on the Hutt Council to speak about opening their borders to them, and with her gods as witnesses, she did not regretted. But she did regretted when Nem’ro, that fat piece of bantha dung, forced her to call upon her connections to set up this meeting with the Silver Jedi, not just that, but by her own wits, Popara used her voice, her 'self' as a image, a banner to rally and recorded her words and transmitted it across the galaxy. Things changed after that, like an echo of a promised dawn, her words were still roaming the stars, touching hearts and lightening the flames of hope. Who would figure that a Hutt would do that? In any given day, Popara despised Jedi and Sith alike, they were needy, complicated, crazy and used that magic they had to make things… easy. But they were one of the major political powers in the galaxy and had enough strength to do exactly what the Hutts offered to their associates in the past; protection. For they had the fighting spirit, they had the numbers, they had the armies and resources to fight against those monsters, while the Hutts did not. Now here she was, standing before Jedi, and much like her ancestors that stood side by side with Silver Jedi against the Yuuzhan Vong, Popara crushed her pride into bits and asked herself, what were her priorities? Was that to make herself richer than she already was? Or was it with her species? The chance to save Nar Shaddaa from annihilation. A chance she would take by force and hold it tightly around her chubby greasy fingers.

The doors of the chamber controlled by Nem’ro opened. Five creatures entered, two heavily armed gamorrean guards carrying vibroaxes following their mistress, her humanoid majordomo called Anakin and her pet, Bulbo, a cannok with enough teeth to bite off a wookie's arm. And as she entered, crawling through the floor, Popara focused her orange eyes on both Hutt lordas sitting there like two lazy Chevin.
Stand up both of you! Didn’t your lordas taught you the courtesy when in the presence of your elders?”, she shouted with all her the might of her lungs, “The Jedi will be here soon and we should be prepared. How is everything going on taking back Besadii’s Palace? Did those glowing fools succeeded?”, the idea came from one of them, whoever it was she could only say it was brilliant. Hutts would test the Jedi's resolve in this process as the ways of the worms dictated so. Her eyes looked upon the holoscreen and her big head nodded towards the images, she did not said a word, but instead dragged her fat body through the slick floor until she found the dining table, grabbing a enormous cup of water and taking it to her mouth, drinking the whole thing in a single sip. “Now we wait.”, she muttered to herself. "And wish for the best."

"Ah, there you are," Rune said to Okkeus Dainlei Okkeus Dainlei with a grin "I didn't think you'd make it."

They shook hands and he introduced himself.

"Rune Darra, and I'm not surprised we haven't met. I haven't been back to Kashyyyk in ages."

"Yes, I'm here to take a look around. Concordia told me someone would be coming to help. I'm glad."

He gestured to the palace.

"This would be a lot of ground to cover by ourselves. Also, it's nice to have someone to watch your back. Who knows who or what's made themselves at home."

Rune fixed one eye on Okkeus as they walked towards a side entrance. With the other he studied the control panel. He brought up a hand to stroke his chin as he pondered. Finally he looked to the human beside him.

"I don't suppose you were given access codes?"

Nar Shaddaa.

He looked around slowly. He had arrived with Okkeus Dainlei Okkeus Dainlei and both of them had agreed to go their separate ways. While Okkeus would go and explore a Hutt Palace and try and find some trinkets, Caden had been claimed by Brooke Waters Brooke Waters to go on an adventure.

Both Okkeus and Caden spent a lot of time together, it would do them good to split up for once. Both of them could learn from other people as well as learning from each other. Every single person they met could teach them something, and then they could teach each other.

He had dressed casual, no robes. Instead he was wearing a beaten, simple shirt and trousers. It was very rare he wasn't donning his robes and he certainly felt weird not wearing them. He had been told that this mission was to blend in however, so robes would stick right out.

He followed the directions he had been given.

They took him into a backwater part of the planet. It was highly built up but clearly housed the scum and villainy of the galaxy. The weird looking buildings housed numerous weird looking aliens and creatures and the entire place looked like somewhere you would likely be stabbed.

Caden slipped through a door, the one he had been given directions to.

Almost instantly he was overwhelmed by the noise, the smoke and the people. The lights didn't help either. It downright wasn't a fun time for Caden, and he really hoped they wouldn't be in the building for too long. He seriously hoped they wouldn't be.

He noticed Master Waters and fell in besides her.

"What hell hole have you brought us to?"

Objective 2
Dorn Company

Scumbags. Crooks. Killers. Thieves.

Dorn company at least had an honest cause or two now and again- these people that the Silvers asked him to work with... the Hutts. The Hutts of all things. To say that the Rangers were pissed about it- was an understatement. And to show that they were hell-bent on making sure the Hutts stayed in line, the Rangers took the lead in the operation.

The slaughter of the enemy was relentless, and brutal, and constant. The Rangers were brutally efficient, dispatching their enemies with such ferocity and violence that it was hard to comprehend that they were actually the good guys in the scenario. Tulan lead from the front, bounding from rooftop to rooftop. One pistol-wielding thug took pot shots at him, confident to get an edge on the Ranger- until Tulan heard from behind cover the tell-tale drain of a dead energy pack.

The time to reload for a trained Ranger, on their weapons system was about three seconds, if that. Plenty of time. He swerved out of cover, withdrawing his fighting knife, letting his rifle hang from it's sleeve. Tulan was good at close-quarters. Very good. But most people got it wrong. Most fighting styles taught that you should bring the knife to them. But in reality, the best way to dispatch an enemy in front of you that was aware of your presence was to bring them to the knife. Tulan used his non-dominant hand to hold the knife, while his dominant went for the man's collar. His left leg came under the Trandoshan's right, tripping him up. Tulan followed with him to the ground, and with a simple slashing motion, cut his neck wide open.

It was a fluid, continuous movement, and Tulan shot him in the face after sliding his knife back away. The Rangers pushed, gaining ground in their assault, largely unimpeded. The Hutt "soldiers" couldn't compare, couldn't even come close to the lethality of Dorn Company, much less their experience and training.

The feast continued among the lordas present. Gortta's remarks carried weight in Broka's mind since the Desilijic does not make many. Negotiating with Jedi, those hyper-moralist Jedi, would obviously be far different from Broka's dealings with pragmatic Eternal Empire across the galaxy. This should not cost the Hutts too much. The fact that they needed to depend on Jedi for protection was an alien thought to them already. Yet, the Bryn'adul were creeping into their territory. The four Hutts that have decided to get to action did not have the military strength to fight a horde of monsters.

Broka was among the first to get up from his seat when Popara got up. Then, he slowly got back into his seat when the Hutt Queen addressed her people so he could go back to eating voraciously. As Popara was speaking with these arrivals, Broka leaned over to Gortta, and spoke quiet enough to show effort to not interrupt the other conversation, "<Let's make sure this does not cost us too much. If we play politics well, the Jedi won't be able to touch the affairs of this planet aside from the fight against those beasts. They will hopefully put their morals aside since we Hutts are not at evil as the Bryn'adul.>"

The Hutt Cartel. Much has changed since she last dealt with them; the Bryn'adul threat is so great that even the Grand Hutt Council saw fit to ask for Jedi protection. Sure, the Council convened at Broka's Sky Palace that day, and, as usual for locations that were used for that meeting, there were to be a lot of decorations, That said, Jedi intervened little in planets' affairs until either humanitarian relief was necessary or attacks came. After Broka the Hutt broadcast its message to the Jedi delegation, there has to be, for example, the need to follow protocol, and, of course, Sakadi's protocol droid was on hand. Hopefully Hutt protocol doesn't dictate lengthy ceremonies before the actual negotiations begin, she thought, while setting foot into said Sky Palace with Sakadi in tow, and greeted by the Council's protocol droids.
