SUMMARY
Amelia von Sorenn was a Vampirika-Hybrid female officer of the Galactic Alliance and Captain in the Galactic Alliance Defense Force Navy during the age of the Galactic Convergence. Before joining the GDAF, Amelia acted as an Advisor for House Renoux in the Braxant Sector, and as High Marshal of the Confederacy of Independent Systems prior to the Sacking of Naboo and the collapse of the Confederacy.
Amelia von Sorenn was a Vamprika-Hybrid female who hailed from the planet Panatha in the Outer Rim Territories - the least widely explored and settled expanse of the Galaxy before Wild Space and the Unknown Regions. Born on Panatha around 3680 BBY, Amelia was a member of the von Sorenn family, a minor Noble House of the Vampirika species. She had a Force-Sensitive younger sister who was prevented from joining the Jedi, which resulted in the death of their parents. Her younger sister inadvertently unleashed a Force Scream during a nightmare, ultimately forcing Amelia to kill her younger sister and nearly costing her own life. Amelia was found near death the following morning by a group of mercenaries and later adopted by a Doctor who was operating a local field hospital.
Amelia would periodically enter hibernation via carbonite freezing and was awoken during the New Sith Wars and joined with a group of Mercenaries that were fighting in the conflict. During this time she was known to have been formally trained in the use of melee and ranged weapons and was known to have served in various battles during that time including the early conflicts in the Ruusan Campaign. Amelia was not on the planet during the Seventh Battle of Ruusan and avoided the effects of the thought bomb that was unleashed by the Brotherhood of Darkness, she would shortly return to a hibernation period upon the conclusion of the Light and Darkness War.
Just after awakening for the second time, the Galaxy would experience the Invasion of Naboo by the Trade Federation, later discovered to be a ploy by a Sith Lord. The Invasion would later fail with the defeat of the Trade Federation at the Battle of Naboo that same year. During the following ten-year period the cracks of the Republic would begin to show as more and more Star Systems seceded from the Republic, following Count Dooku and forming the Confederacy of Independent Systems. Within this prelude to war, she was known to have attended the Republic Navy War College on Anaxes and would later join the Galactic Republic Navy and serve during the Clone Wars. Her whereabouts prior to the conclusion of the war and the establishment of the First Galactic Empire were largely unknown and she was believed killed in action in the final days.
Following the conclusion of the Clone Wars, she disappeared once more to hibernate and was known to have missed the following events - the occurrence of and timeline of which is still highly debated - The Galactic Civil Wars, the Return of Grand Admiral Thrawn, the Rise of the First Order and the Yuuzhan Vong Invasion. Amelia was also known to have missed the release of the Gulag Plague upon the Galaxy which resulted in the death of Billions, possibly Trillions of individuals, and caused the collapse of Interplanetary Travel and Galactic Governments. Her next awakening is thought to have happened in 849 ABY at the outset of the Omega War, though her actions during this time are just as equally unknown or poorly documented. Amelia is not known to have made any major insteps or contributions to the galaxy at this time and does not appear in the Galactic Record until approximately 856 - 858 ABY when she was known to have joined the resurgent Confederacy of Independent Systems. She was known to have served in their military forces until around 867 ABY when the capital of the Confederacy, Naboo, was sacked and the Confederacy was dismantled.
The historical record does not mention Amelia von Sorenn again until around 895 - 900 ABY when she formally joined the Galactic Alliance as a Captain of the Galactic Alliance Defense Force. During this time she apparently had a meeting with a Jedi Master, engaged the Mandalorians above Ryloth, and was known to have accompanied a Diplomatic Mission to the Hapes Consortium.
