An Un-Common Get Together

Kay-Larr

Sphaera Tea Company Owner
Kay had finished watching Ra's transmission about an hour ago. It had filled her with dread and uncertainty. Now was not the time for that. She was less than two months from when they figured that she'd give birth. A large amount of stress could only induce her labour early, something that she had hoped to avoid. Delegation was the key. Her loving husband [member="Veiere Arenais"] had retreated from the Jedi Order to be by her side and to help where he could. She had delegated some of her tasks to her most trusted friends and staff.

She needed them now.

It didn't take long for her to send each of them a message, calling for them to come to the meeting room in the catacombs of the Royal Palace within the hour. Her husband was included in that list, as well as [member="Darlyn Excron"] , [member="Amelia Sorenn-Syrush"] , [member="Darben Skirae"] , [member="Bradshaw Ku"] , [member="Jairdain"] , [member="Silfe Sosuri"] and [member="Mythos"] . She also sent word to her newest bodyguard [member="Leonhardt Wilhelm"] to accompany her.

No doubt her husband would be able to feel her anxiety before he even got to the room. Kay had arrived first, tea already made and in her hand, with extra cups available. Datapads lay in front of her at the table and she was doing everything in her power to keep herself from pacing the room. Hopefully the others would arrive on time.

And hopefully she was looking into the situation too deeply. Maybe they'll all just rattle it off as the imaginings of a harmonal woman.

That was if she was lucky.

Slowly her lithe fingers slipped along the stone work of the old catacomb, an admiration and respect not often given filled her as her golden hues settled upon the exquisite work. Though there would be plenty of time for her to admire the work when the meeting was over - if she didn't have to immediately set upon another task - still though it was a change of pace and a welcome venue. The vampiress smirked softly as she moved through the corridors of the catacombs, her hand slowly slipping along the stones still.
She had no clue as to why she was being called; though she was sure to find out soon enough. Lightly pressing her hand against the door, she stepped into the meeting room. Her golden hues falling upon the young - though clearly very pregnant - woman; a small smile offered in greeting as she bowed her head slightly.
"Your Highness."
The woman spoke, still finding herself getting use to the simple fact that she was the Head of Security, a position that had fallen into her lap. Stepping forward, her hand slowly crept over the back of a leather chair, admiring the work before she slipped down into the seat. Her hands coming up for a moment as she slowly pulled the helm from her brow before setting it on the table in front of her.
She would settle into her seat, her hands coming together as she clasped them one over the other. Closing her eyes, she leaned forward, her chin resting against her closed fists as her ears perked up. She merely listened, waiting for the others that were to join them.

It would be long after that of Amelia's arrival that Veiere would step on into the private and secure quarters his beloved Wife and High-Queen had chosen for this meeting of stately affairs. Veiere Arenais had not yet witnessed the live broadcast held by that of [member="Ra Vizsla"] though there were few people in the Galaxy today that had not heard the name for the mans widely acknowledged reputation for intimidation and ware-fare representing the Mandalorian Empire.

It had been difficult to miss the recent activity within the surrounding systems and territories of Mandalore itself, many of the Mandalorian People had in the past had dealings with numerous members of the Systems Alliance Government, such people like [member="Amaya Cardei"] of whom represented the House Verd where Kay and Veiere visited on invitation to the home-world of their culture. It had been a great honor and privilege to learn more about the Mandalorian people and especially given their ability for which was widely discussed when they came up in subject, it was difficult not to take notice when such a strong people sought to take into action once more.

"Hello there Amelia..." Veiere first acknowledged his wife's first attendee, well known for her business in manufacturing arms across the Commenor Systems Alliance Military, Sorenn-Syrush Industries being one of their more recent contracts made though Amelia herself had gone well beyond her companies limits and taken an active part within their government for which had been more than welcome news to Veiere's part; "Good to see you again" he would smile before then turning his attention to his wife and moving to take to her side that he would not be in the way for others to enter.

"I would ask what's got you so riled up, my love; though apparently we're early..." He spoke lightly, suggesting in feigned humor that perhaps he ought to wait for everyone else before launching questions in his concern for his wife's sense of unease.

[SIZE=10.5pt]Patiently waiting for others, polite silence, feigned comedy... all acceptable attempts to take to the mood of the announcement, or to being called for a meeting. Socially acceptable.[/SIZE]

[SIZE=10.5pt]Non acceptable? The almost thunderous, heavy steps of beskar on the ground echoing through the catacombs to the meeting room, followed by the gloriously billowing red cape of Mandalorian armor as Darlyn stepped into the light. For once, despite the bags in his eyes, and the darkened rings, a smile was on his lips and his hair was rather well kept, for once. As always, the light glistened off beskar, as it did with his damn near mobile armory strapped to his body, and despite the immediate dark presence starting to creep into the surrounding area near him, he looked almost too blissfully bright.

"Hope you haven't started yet. That would be a disaster and a half for me!" He laughed loudly, striding to his new place at the table, and sitting himself down. Or, rather more accurately, half slamming down into his seat, leaning back, and with heavy thuds placed his feet up on the table. The datapad floated over to his hand, and he rested it in his lap while he grinned almost stupidly at the three present.

”Come on, cheer up. Haven’t ya’ll read the news? Crime’s down to record lows for the year, and unemployment is steadily reaching six percent! Granted that might be from including more well off planets that change the numbers, but hey it’s a nice day.”[/SIZE]

[member="Lady Kay"] | [member="Amelia Sorenn-Syrush"] | [member="Veiere Arenais"] | [member="Darben Skirae"] | [member="Bradshaw Ku"] | [member="Jairdain"] | [member="Silfe Sosuri"] | [member="Mythos"] | [member="Leonhardt Wilhelm"]

Silfe received the message and wondered what the meeting could be about. It had only taken a moment to put away her work and make her way down to the ornate room. She left her entourage of security at the door however. Of course she answered the summons right away, arriving shortly after [member="Darlyn Excron"] put his feet up on the massive and beautifully carved table. As she passed the Minister of Justice, she felt like she should throw his feet off the beautiful table, but it wasn't her place. Besides, she did owe him for helping her when her father had visited. She still had green bruising left in some areas where the bruising had been the worst and there were stitches that were finally dissolving from the deepest cut on her hip. "Sounds like you have been busy Darlyn."

Her dress was simple in comparison to many she wore fading from black at the top down through plum purple to a bright red at her knees. The long sleeves extended beyond her wrist, trailing down her sides but leaving her hands free. Her hair was up and out of her face in an intricate knot with red ribbon entwined through the braids. She curtseyed low to the Queen [member="Lady Kay"] and the King [member="Veiere Arenais"] before moving to sit down on the other side of the table so she could see them well. Silfe wondered who all would be joining them.

The blind advisor had little need for the holonet since she couldn't view it, however, the message had been broadcast through more than one medium since its original airing. Ra Vizla had called Commenor and a few other known factions, including the Silver Jedi liars and manipulator as well other things. None of which were true, in her opinion.

She received a summons to meet with Kay and probably several others. Not knowing what was in store, she picked up her lightsaber and clipped it to her belt. While Jairdain didn't feel threatened on Commenor, it never hurt to come prepared for something. Her garb was more casual than what she would wear to an official function, but was of good quality. Her black hair, like always was down and went to the middle of her back.

It took her only a little longer to find where the meeting was being called and she arrived a few minutes after Silfe. In the room there were two other people she had never met before along with Veiere and Kay. Giving them all a nod and formal bow to Kay and Veiere, she took a seat at the table with spaces left for the others still to sit.

Having already met once both Veiere and Silfe, she didn't introduce herself to them again, but she did to Darlyn and Amelia.

"I'm Jairdain Ismet. It is nice to meet you, just wish it was under more pleasant circumstances."

[member="Silfe Sosuri"] [member="Darlyn Excron"] [member="Veiere Arenais"] [member="Lady Kay"] [member="Bradshaw Ku"] [member="Darben Skirae"] [member="Mythos"] [member="Leonhardt Wilhelm"] [member="Amelia Sorenn-Syrush"]

[member="Lady Kay"] had convinced him to not work 24/7 and he woke up from his bed after a little bit a of a drunken night, he rubbed his head a little bit before he looked down at the comlink and he read it fast before he got up and turned on the holo-projector so he had clothes and everything over his power armor. He made sure that it looked like him fixing some flaws for a few quick minute before he took a huge dose of medicine that cleared out his alcohol so he could be ready.

She needed him.

He quickly made his way over to where Kay and the rest of them were meeting, his crazy night a distant past a he focused on what could he the matter, his large strides making it easy for him to make his way towards the room. He knew that he was going to be a little late but I don't think she would mind that much, as long as he wan't super late.

Clearing his throat he turned a corner in the palace and ran into a servant. With a quick, "Sorry." He continued on and didn't look back as the servant kind of gawked at the mans size. It seemed like the man could have been running by how fast he was trying to get to where he was sent to, everything else was just ignored, he was going to get there fast.

As he finally made his way into the room he walked in and glances around taking in everyone who was there and then bowed.

"Your Highness."

[member="Amelia Sorenn-Syrush"] was the first to arrive. That didn't quite surprise Kay at all. She offered her a polite nod of her head. "Just Kay, please. There's no need to be so formal in here." For some though, using such formalities was done so out of habit. She just didn't want to be praised above others so much while they handled a lot of hard work too.

Kay breathed a sigh of relief as [member="Veiere Arenais"] came in next, however she found it surprising that he didn't seem to know what was going on. But he didn't keep on top of things as much as she did, and for good reason. "You'll find out soon, my dear. Once everyone is here " Until then she reached for his hand and held it, wanting his very presence to put her more at ease.

[member="Darlyn Excron"] ....He always knew how to make her smile in even the most trying of times. That was part of his charm that made him an invaluable friend. "Thank you for the update, Darlyn, but this isn't that kind of meeting...Although your hard work will be noted and is much appreciated."

[member="Silfe Sosuri"] , [member="Jairdain"] and [member="Leonhardt Wilhelm"] were the next to arrive. Kay sipped her tea, bowing her heads to them and gesturing for them to take their seats too. "We'll wait just a little more for [member="Mythos"] and Brad, then we can get started. In the meantime, there's some tea if you'd like. And brandy." Her gaze drifted to the door then, in the anticipation that [member="Bradshaw Ku"] and Mythos would come through those doors soon.

Bradshaw Ku

Crown Prince of Commenor
There was never a dull moment as Prince.

No, wait.

That wasn’t right.

There were very many dull movements as Prince, usually having to do with one diplomatic meeting or another. What he meant to think was, there was always something to do. Yeah, that was more like it. Just because you had something to do, didn’t mean it wasn’t boring.

Fortunately, today was already turning out to not be one of those boring days. His mother’s summons was originally met with a groan, to be sure. As he imagined some new diplomatic training regime, or having to fly out to a random world with the Queen and King to speak with one planetary leader or another.

However, he’d learned at least a few things since his return, one of them being that his mother didn’t frequently create meetings out of the blue, at least, not with so many people to attend. Which meant that whatever the meeting was about must be big and unexpected news. A quick HoloNet search on one of his holoprojectors was all that was needed to dig up the likely impetus for this urgent meeting.

He was listening to Ra Vizsla’s broadcast for the umpteenth time, the Mando’s face projected from the device Bradshaw carried in his left hand, as he walked through the catacombs of the Royal Palace and into the meeting room. He wore a simple black leather jacket and black shirt with comfortable pants. It was something of a compromise between dressing up, and looking like an outlaw by falling back into wearing his old smuggler garb.

One of the last to show, as usual, he noted with a glance around the room. But, at least he did come.

“Can you believe this guy,” he questioned rhetorically as he walked around the table to sit in the open seat between [member="Silfe Sosuri"] and Jair. He slid the holoprojector onto the table like a hockey puck so that it would come to rest somewhere in the center, still in the middle of playing the broadcast. He gave his parents a simple nod of acknowledgement, not feeling a great need to be formal, being that they were his parents after all, before continuing.

“Commenor System Axis? That’s the best he could do? That’s not so bad, you know what they say, nothing is certain in life but death and axis,” he chuckled, “at least he didn’t call us weak like the collective.”

Then he glanced over at [member="Darlyn Excron"], the very unconventional Minister of Justice, yet again, acting more unprofessional than even himself. The man’s feet on the antique table, however, wasn’t what caught Bradshaw’s attention. It was the red cape and Mandalorian armour adorning the Minister. Not to mention the myriad of weapons.

“Mandalorian armour, Darlyn? I guess we know who’s side you’re on.” He quipped good-naturedly. “But really, the cape?”

- [member="Leonhardt Wilhelm"] - [member="Jairdain"] - [member="Veiere Arenais"] - [member="Lady Kay"] - [member="Amelia Sorenn-Syrush"] -

Veiere offered a simple nod to [member="Lady Kay"], smiling in warmth and glad to be a part of one of her meetings for a change. He often avoided these sorts of things though from time to time it was nice to remind himself of whom were among them working for their government. Most he recognized, [member="Jairdain"] and [member="Silfe Sosuri"] were the first to which he offered a polite smile and nod in acknowledgement of their presence. He didn't know them quite as personally as his wife did though from what little he did know, he was fond of the two women none the less. Even despite [member="Bradshaw Ku"]'s antics for which Veiere hoped they could perhaps influence him for the better.

Speaking of unpredictable and erratic characters, [member="Darlyn Excron"] entered the room for which the two had recently met in quiet and more or less laid their cards out on the table so to speak. Veiere didn't truly consider Darlyn to be nearly as chaotic as he led on though it had come to more or less of a private joke on his part and a sense of jest that he might drop their business relationship to a little more casual entertainment between them both. He was well respected beyond all of his rather unorthodox behaviors due to his countless times having entered into conflict at the need and protection of their good Queen, something of which Veiere would always feel he owed the man for and would never be able to repay in the appreciation that he felt for Kay's sake.

[member="Leonhardt Wilhelm"] was less of a known factor for the King, the imposing male figure within the room, Veiere glanced him up and down in study before turning to offer an uncertain and questioning glance back to Kay. She had a variety of peoples in her employ these days and this man seemed far more the stone-wall type. It was easy to assume that he was one of her new guardsmen.

Having already greeted [member="Amelia Sorenn-Syrush"], he would speak generally to the group in welcome and support of Kay's summons.

"Thank you for coming everyone. It's good to see you all again...-I do hope you've all been well since our last run-in together".

Short and sweet, genuine as always yet nothing more than what was called for. He smiled warmly to the group, they the cogs of commenor for which turned the clockwork government and spurred on the preservation of peace and prosperity across their nations.

A soft hiss escaped her lips as the heavy boots were so brutishly propped up upon the otherwise exquisite table, her fingers slipping across the top and in that moment she held herself back from doing something rather foolish. Her golden hues settled upon the individual for a moment, and as much as she wanted to smack the back of [member="Darlyn Excron"] 's head, she held herself in the presence of the Queen.
"Old habits your Highness... old habits..."
She spoke simply, offering a silent nod towards the King of Commenor, though remained seated for the most part. Leaning back into her seat just a bit more, her golden hues slowly slipped from individual to individual. She had only recently come into her position - and thus hadn't known or even encountered many of those in the room - thus far their first impressions of a select few were leaving much to be desired. Her attention was briefly upon [member="Bradshaw Ku"] though they were just as quickly resettled upon the others as they entered the room.
Leaning forward slightly, she kept one leg over the other, a small smirk upon her lips as she looked back to [member="Lady Kay"].
"I must decline your offer of Tea your Highness... though if you've something more suitable I would welcome it..."
Her smile flashed those fangs of hers for a moment before she leaned back slowly. Her eyes slipping close as she listened, preferring it over speaking in such large groups as this - for there was always things to learn from listening - and perhaps those in attendance could appreciate such a view.

When Kay offered the tea, Jairdain accepted one of the cups provided. Though the brandy was also offered, she declined that. Nodding when Brad entered, she noticed he took the seat between her and Silfe. She wasn't too surprised by the move, but was pleased he valued her advice enough to choose and sit next to her.

His comments brought a slight smirk to her face and her eyes may have glittered a little with the humor she felt. Trying to hide that half smile, she took a sip of the tea.

Nodding at the other comments made by the others, she just kept silent. It was in her nature to observe and listen before saying something. Though in her role as advisor, she had to be a little more assertive. However, she didn't feel she was fully here for that this time. She actually felt rather honored to have been summoned for this meeting. It indicated that maybe she was more than the simple advisor position she got hired for.

Unsure if there was anybody else that would be arriving, she took the time to look around and "see" the others in the room. A wide variety of people for sure, but that was what was needed in this time.

[member="Amelia Sorenn-Syrush"] [member="Veiere Arenais"] [member="Bradshaw Ku"] [member="Lady Kay"] [member="Leonhardt Wilhelm"] [member="Silfe Sosuri"] [member="Mythos"] [member="Darlyn Excron"] [member="Darben Skirae"]

He found his way to the nearest wall as he entered the room, his eyes glanced around at the poeple gathered, [member="Jairdain"], [member="Amelia Sorenn-Syrush"], [member="Silfe Sosuri"], [member="Darlyn Excron"], Kay's husband and King of Commenor, [member="Veiere Arenais"], and [member="Lady Kay"] herself. His eyes glanced around wearily as he listened to them speak.

Before he knew it [member="Bradshaw Ku"] had walked into the room and he just took him over with his eyes before giving a slight nod and keeping his mouth shut listening to the chatter that was going on in the room. He kept his eye scanning as he made sure that everything in his suit was working fine because he had forgotten to check it before he left.

When he glanced over at Kay she seemed almost, unnerved, as if something had gotten to her, he wan't sure what it was though. He took the time to finally reach out with the force and feel everyone, he could tell most of them were anxious, but that's to be expected.

There was a big issue that was behind all of this but they were just waiting on one man to come to begin, something had happened while he was aleep and it was something that was going to be very, very difficult, he could tell that just from the looks on the King and Queen, it had rattled them, and he was positive that was something hard to do.

"Came with the armor. Would you prefer I dress like a sith today?" He smirked back at [member="Bradshaw Ku"], before yanking the holoprojector to his hand and flipping it off. If he wasn't in a good mood, he probably would've crushed it, which was far easier with this armor. "Ah well, you know how these people are. Make as many enemies as possible to try and rally people to their cause. Though I doubt they're stupid enough to follow through with anything! Besides, if they do I'm curious how well Beskar could hold up to my Special." He drew his custom weapon, spinning the rather large, heavy pistol casually. Though he quickly adjusted the topic as he glanced over at [member="Lady Kay"], maintaining his large grin.

"Today's a whisky day for me Kay. Spicing things up a bit. Can't get too used to anything after all. Thanks for the offer though." Now then, who was around? He did recognize the face of [member="Amelia Sorenn-Syrush"], it was his job to be able to identify his subordinates after all, and he was always in particular interest to keep track of the Head of Security position. [member="Silfe Sosuri"] was a girl he'd helped once before, and someone he kept track of in turn to ensure her safety. So both of these faces were rather familiar, unlike [member="Leonhardt Wilhelm"]. One of the new guard, someone he hadn't tended to. He didn't like that but, what could he do? [member="Jairdain"] had a presence to her, so he would make note to keep track of her later... though if Kay had confidence he would trust her for now.

He gave one more nod, this time to [member="Veiere Arenais"] to acknowledge his performance, so to speak, before lifting up his feet and sitting more normally in his chair. Might as well get ready for business..

[member="Mythos"]

A meeting... so far to his knowledge it was private. This time it wasn't [member="Veiere Arenais"] who was late. He decided to dress for the occasion as exactly what he was, A Lord of the Sith. Dark robes dragged through the corridors as he made his way there but not without also in his person packing enough heat to take on a full sized company. It's not that he did not trust Kay or Commenor, he did, with his life... but they were in the cross-hairs of Mandalor and they had assassins in every shadow. There was not any hurry, there was a good reason why Lord Mythos was late to this meeting. Back in his room there at least ten stacks of datapad information and paperwork filled out, not only had Kwenns paperwork been completed but Mythos at the news and declaration of hostility from Ra Visla had begun the budgeting for a new project.

The Grand Amy of Commenor. A Vast Armored and highly mobile ground force that would dwarf anything that the galaxy currently had. It would take the efforts of everyone in the room but if Mythos' calculations were correct, it could be done. He walked into the room and with him a palpable feeling of dread followed. Mythos only became stronger as the days passed by, Kay had seen the holocron she had not however seen his training regiment and his reflex training. A Grimoire hung from his black cloak tied with a blacksteel chain to his belt, One Sith insignia emblazoned on it's leather cover. Upon further inspection one would notice the book to be made of human skin. "Good Evening everyone." He said as his eyes scanned from left to right, he noticed the familiar faces, namely [member="Darlyn Excron"] and the King and Queen. he bowed his head in respect before continuing. With a raised eyebrow but a solemn tone he looked at Kay straight in her eyes and asked one simple question.

"Is this about the Mandalorians?" There was that second voice again, this time it was learning to be more subtle and hang around in the background and echo instead of presenting itself so distinctive. When Mythos spoke this time a second voice could be heard but very faint, it was learning... When he spoke again it was gone, almost as if it tried to convince you that you imagined it, that it wasn't real. "I could handle this Kay." He said as his hand slowly caressed the horrific leather hardtop of the horrific grimoire. "They only understand one language, a language I am quite fluent in."

[member="Leonhardt Wilhelm"] [member="Amelia Sorenn-Syrush"] @Jairdain @Bradshaw Ku

Silfe stood upon being offered tea and like [member="Jairdain"], reached across the table and took herself a cup. She didn't drink it often, but she did like it. Perhaps she should add it to her daily routine. Her attention drawn to the doorway once more, she smiled warmly to the King as he entered. They had never had the chance to speak personally, but she liked the energy [member="Veiere Arenais"] exuded. "Yes your highness." She answered him simply. Silfe wasn't about to spill out her trouble with her father and the beating she took that [member="Darlyn Excron"] had witnessed and stopped. As her thoughts turned to him, she looked at the man in Mandalorian Armor. He and Brad did not seem to get along. Their personalities were very different, but she liked both of them. In her opinion, they both had the possibility of being good men. Brad had to grow into it and Darlyn had to choose it.

She sat back and sipped, watching [member="Bradshaw Ku"] enter in a flurry of motion like he always did. Her eyes strayed from him to the holoprojector he tossed on the table. Her eyebrows rose a bit, taking in the message the man spewed forth with such vitriol she was surprised his head didn't pop off from the pressure.

[member="Leonhardt Wilhelm"] was a large man, so much so one could not possibly look anywhere else when he entered the room. She had no idea who he was but as [member="Lady Kay"] did not move to dismiss him, she assumed he was meant to be here. And [member="Mythos"] being the last to come in certainly had a way with words. He was dark, she could tell. In much the same way she could feel the King's energy, she felt Mythos. Not being Force sensitive did not mean she was completely blind, deaf and dumb.

Would Lady Kay put out a hit on the man from the holoprojection? "What exactly have we done to this man, if anything? ... For clarity's sake." CSA was such a neutral entity, she couldn't believe the charges were entirely accurate, but he sure thought they were.

Each person had different views, those that were in the know anyways. That was what made having a variety of people on their staff so valuable. Different angles and solutions could be thought up, instead of everyone thinking with the same mindframe.

She raised a brow to [member="Amelia Sorenn-Syrush"] as she seemed to tease about having a different kind of drink. Kay knew of her species, but she was hardly the type of person to accommodate. But perhaps Amelia was just trying to lighten her mood and ease her anxiety. That was something that she didn't mind.

[member="Bradshaw Ku"] walked in, and like her, he too wasn't bothered by [member="Darlyn Excron"] 's feet on the table like some of the others were. Darlyn was Darlyn. He wasn't exactly trying to wreck anything.

Kay's eyes dropped to the holoprojector with Ra's message, watching it again until Darlyn shut it off. She glanced over to [member="Veiere Arenais"] to gauge his reaction and then to [member="Mythos"] as he stepped in. To his first question about the Mandalorians, she nodded. Yet she gave him a stern look when that other part of him spoke up. Kay knew exactly what he had meant, and whether or not he had learned any lessons from Kwenn Station remained to be seen. "Now is not the time to jump into war, Mythos. So control yourself for the time being, please."

She looked to [member="Silfe Sosuri"] as she asked her question and merely shook her head. "We have done nothing to him or the Mandalorians. I went to Ruusan, that part is true. I signed an accord, but it had nothing to do with them or anyone else that didn't show. It was merely a promise to not target civilians in times of war, nor to use biological or chemical weapons, air bombardments against civilian populations. That was all."

Kay sighed a little as she expressed her worry. "The last I had kniwn was that Ra is dead. But then I heard rumours of him being alive and only recently was it made known to me that he had somehow come back. With the Mandalorian civil war over and himself the victor, he seems to have expansion on his mind and is targeting the territories closest to him, more than likely restarting his Crusades. We are one of those territories in his way. That is why we are being threatened. So now we must prepare. We've been purchasing and constructing ships, the Galactic Empire has given us blueprints for some of theirs as well. Bolstering our fleets and forces will help to protect us should they breach our borders." She paused to sip her tea. "I could attempt to broker a deal with Ra in the same manner that I did before, but there's no guarantee that it'll work again. Does any of you have any contacts within the Mandalorian Empire?"

[member="Jairdain"] [member="Leonhardt Wilhelm"]

Mythos smiled when she told him to control himself, he was doing an amazing job at that of late if you asked him. He only wished to kill the Galactic Alliance yet he had been temperate and patient in waiting for the precise moment to strike at their neck. He stood in place only shifting his eyes from her to Veiere, to the others gathered and to the massive man that he knew not of. Only man he ever saw who was that tall fought him in Lujo and they both almost killed each other. The Mandalorian Empire... it was all that the galaxy was talking about as of late, as of the message, as of of Ra's Madness. While in the One Sith classes at the academy of Glee Anselm Mythos took classes in 'enemy mentality', looking back he thought his youth way of thinking especially foolish yet he still payed attention. He thought it was awfuly boring but now it came to mind especially when Ra spoke. He had his doubts, he doubted that Kay or Veiere were plotting to kill or otherwise conflict with the Mandalorian but he did not rule anything out, so when Ra spoke so boldly he indeed considered the fact that perhaps he was right. Kay put those doubts to sleep, the only thing that remained was that Ra was psychotic. "Mandalorians are a warrior culture that lacks every form of finesse and reason known in the galaxy" he began, answering the question Kay put forth.
"Historically they never asked nor needed an excuse to invade and conquer other worlds and Visla has unified them. History has a nasty habit of keeping a certain routine and rotation of things... they will attack and invade a territory soon and the Russan accords or the Accords being put forth by the Sith Empire as we speak will largely go unheeded." Mythos said, rasing a hand and calling to the force to telekineticaly pull a holoprojector from his cloak. It hovered ominously in front of his frame and from the light the galaxy poured forth like a cascade of stars all around them, various colors painted over them to indicate factions and empires. The meeting would see the cloud of the Ancient Mandalorian empire overtake and lose power with the various years and centuries that belonged to them. "It is my belief that Ra Visla is suffering from Psychotic Paranoia, he imagines enemies where there are none, a common trait among kings an Emperors. The other possibility is that he named those territories as a denouncement to declare hostilities before an attack, giving himself a perceived public reason to launch an assault. The latter being more likely, given the fact that he mentioned the weakest factions in terms of raw military strength. The latter is what i believe wholeheartedly is the truth, i do not discard the former even if both lead to the same unavoidable conclusion"

He looked up to Kay and Veiere as the projection now showed the current galactical map of all known factions and empires in glowing fashion. With eyes that both pleaded and warned he said his final piece. "In Naboo i told you that the Republic would burn, I was right Kay and believe me I am also right now. I know what he will do because it is what i would do. He is coming for the Factions and Empires he mentioned once he believes he can. My advice i know you will not heed, my suggested actions just as my warning you will disregard even if you know in your heart are wise....but it is my duty as your friend and as your soldier to warn you"

He did not look them in the eyes when he spoke again, it was a controversial warning and advice but he knew in his heart and mind that this was the right choice. Either the Mandalorians would be defeated or Commenor would burn. It was in every way the choice of the King and Queen. Peace is a Lie and the Russan accords were laughable, nothing would stop massacre and slaughter, no Cedric Grayson in a thousand galaxies would change what was about to happen to this galaxy.

"We must strike first, strike hard and with purpose or Commenor will fall"

Kay knew of some Mandalorians that weren't war mongerers. [member="Veiere Arenais"] still counted her as one, through her adoption into the Raxis Clan some time ago. But she had very little links with the Clan. They were scattered. Whatever happened to [member="Gray Raxis"] after his trial, she had no idea. Was he killed fighting in the Crusades? She wanted no part of that as she just couldn't see herself fighting in a cause that she was against. That would be stupid.

A brow was raised as he mentioned Sith Accords. "What are the Sith Accords? Do you have any details on them? Does anyone here?" The Mandos teaming with the Sith wasn't surprising. Yet it was something better as a possibility than the reality that it was becoming. Although the CSA had little dealings with either of them, that only lessened their chances of being a target. But it didn't elimanate it.

Mythos reminded her of Naboo. She had helped him there, trying to stop the invasion of it's people from the Techno Union and Mandalorians, including her former boss. But those efforts were a failure.

Kay paused as Mythos gave his warning and suggestion. Did she believe him? In some ways she did, although her need to deny such a dark future was strong. "Thank you for your suggestion, but attacking them first would also play us into their hands, right into the narrative in Ra's broadcast. How can I say that we aren't a threat to them on one hand, yet attack them with the other? It would make liars out of us, would ruin our standing that has kept us safe for so long." Who did the others assembled agree with? Herself or Mythos? She looked to each of them in turn, starting with her husband [member="Veiere Arenais"] . He was her advisor for a time and she trusted his judgement above all others, even if she didn't agree with it. But he knew that she was stubborn as well.

[member="Mythos"] and his attitude towards the potential threat they were facing were to quick to fire up for Veiere's liking and the more the man spoke, the more Veiere found himself disagreeing and seeing evidence to his inherently darker side of character. "Need I remind you Mythos, of what occurred within the Station orbiting Kwenn" his tone of voice interrupted the group with the authority that had been vested to him, hiding nothing of his disapproval for what he perceived to be fear driven want for aggression where as his wife had spoken the truth in the Systems Alliance's foundation based upon virtue and integrity.

"There will be no such acts of war let loose upon the Mandalorian Empire least they first seek to break us..." his gaze held upon the Sith for a moment, regarding the choice of his attire and the Grimoire that he carried in arguably the worst decision he might have carried into this affair. Quite frankly it was insulting and only seemed to echo the concerns of the galaxy for their affiliations with both alignments of the Force. Concerns that he and his wife have had to answer to in the past.

"We will not rush to encourage rabid violence that will no doubt spill out and affect millions of people around us; now is not the time for desperate action based upon assumptions we have little but one man's idle threats to be judged..." Veiere shook his head in clear defiance of the notion that they would strike preemptively.

Turning soon to look to Kay directly speaking to his wife, "We need to hear from the Mandalorian Empire first hand why they feel the need to make such statements and what their intentions are toward us. We are a connected to all surrounding galactic powers, we have no enemies and have not sought to offer any justification for war".

"We should send a delegation to meet with them in diplomatic standing, [member="Ra Vizsla"] groups us within these supposed threats to his people based upon his outside influence and impressions of Commenor. Should we attack we only justify these perceptions he has been given of us".

"If no man would go willing to represent Commenor's interests then I would choose to do so myself, surely he would not refuse the opportunity...".
