The Shipyards of Manwess III

Golden hues fell upon the skeletal structure before the woman, watching as the smaller craft pulled the various parts into place. Slowly, piece by piece, the form was coming together. The company was still small, though with this expansion, this broad stroke, it was meant to push them further. Holding a glass in one hand, she looked down to the datapad for a moment before setting it upon the large table in the office, taking a sip before the glass was set aside.

The large Cathedral vessel remained at a steady pace away from the construction site, keeping it out of the way of the construction vessels, though still in range to offer assistance if required. Looking back to the skeletal frame, her attention pulled to the table before her as she ran her hand along the edge. The already dim room seemed to slip into darkness for a moment before the brilliant blue light of the table danced across the surfaces.

Reaching her hand out, she slowly slipped it along the holographic image of the finished product, a small smirk crossing her lips as she looked upon the large emblazoned SSI that was to sit upon the side. Already the mere construction had been a boon to the world below, drawing workers from the planet to the skeletal frames and construction tugs. Keeping her attention upon the image, she slowly moved around the table, taking it in from the various angles, even though she could have just as easily spun the image with a push of a button.

"Ma'am."

The voice pulled her attention from the image towards the door, a lone individual standing there. She nodded quietly before motioning with a hand, the two doors opening as she stepped towards the wall. Running a hand along it, she heard the small click followed by the hiss as the shelf slipped out of the wall, revealing the various drinks available for any whom had arrived.

"Show them in."

She motioned to the armored individual whom responded with a silent salute. Leaving the cabinet open, she returned to the table, picking up her glass and taking a sip before grabbing at another datapad.

"Welcome to the Sorenn-Syrush Industries Shipyard at Manwess III".

She said simply while motioning towards the large viewing window before her, the construction slowly coming together which brought a small smile upon her lips.

Things changing was expected. Going from having no steady home, going from planet to planet doing odd jobs to stay afloat to being adopted into nobility had required adjusting, and that was just the lifestyle. In Asha's mind she did well enough in doing so however, especially now that some time had passed since she was turned into the vampirika she was now to save her life. Most of that time was spent following Amelia around in her endeavors, as a way to learn the ropes in various things. It had been an interesting number of months, changing even the slightest of things such as the way she walked or spoke. She eyed more professional and sophisticated, even if there still was some progress to be made.

The most interesting part of her new life was the business side of things, however. Seeing how Sorenn-Syrush Industries worked from the inside had been something the woman found to be very intriguing and wherever she could she would help her adoptive mother keep the company running. As such she was in the same room as Amelia, taking in the holographic image all the same. "Good progress has been made already. I cannot wait to see the finished product in real." Taking in the smallest details she didn't notice the figure in the doorway until they were told to show the ones who were invited in, at which point she silently made her way to Amelia's side at the cabinet. For a moment she debated taking a drink for herself, and eventually decided to do so. Carefully pouring the drink into the glass she returned the bottle and made her way back, once more standing beside her adoptive mother.

The guests then started to enter the room. Asha politely smiled and nodded to greet them but remained silent, leaving the woman next to her to do the talking. Once she was called to introduce herself she would, but until then there was not much for her to do.

Claire a minor share holder in SSI headed into the next meeting. She smiled brightly at [member="Asha Mataya-Syrush"] and looked over towards [member="Amelia Sorenn-Syrush"] nodding a small greeting to her.

She had been trying to get in to see them both in an attempt to get them on her client list but Claire had run into a few bumps in her path. Attacked by pirates, and working as an Ambassador were starting to take little bits out of her schedule for her business. She was considering finding Tori . That would have to wait until she finished her duties as Ambassador right now.

She went over and took a drink the bottle was ice cold frost around the neck and the beginning of condensation as it warmed to Claire's touch. She picked up a glass and found her way over to look at her hosts. Looking around she wondered if any of the other share holders would be arriving.

"It may take some time, though if the schedule remains as it is at current productivity, then the shipyards should be able to begin operations shortly even with continued construction in other areas."

Amelia said bluntly before looking from the shipyard that was still slowly being pulled together. Her attention falling upon the datapad again before looking back towards the woman that had entered the room. Offering a small smile and nod in return, she watched as Claire gathered her own drink before moving to the table to take a seat. Moving towards the head of the table, Amelia pulled her seat out, slipping down into it and setting the datapad down.

Her nimble fingers slipped across a console in front of her, the middle of the table humming softly. The lights dimmed before the brilliant blue hue bathed the room in its eerie glow. The image of a completed shipyards slowly beginning to rotate, then after a few moments, additional sections began to appear on the image, showing the projected growth of the shipyards over time.

"We plan on ensuring that the Shipyards here will be able to produce vessels of a sizable class."

Amelia said with a soft smile, not seeming to worry if others would arrive or not. Rather she preferred it this way, keeping these meetings small and with only the most minimal of contact with the shareholders and other individuals of the company. For her it made running SSI just that easier if she didn't have to worry about everyone's input all at once.

Asha looked over to [member="Claire Organa"] as she poured herself a drink, which compelled her to take a sip of her own. As she did she started moving towards the seat she would be taking and set down her drink, watching as the lights started to dim. A blue hue overcame the room as the woman went to sit down, realizing the meeting was likely to be a small group that would be here today. She herself was mostly here to simply take things in, and as such it made little difference to her when it came to attendance. She would be involved in the company herself quite soon, the spot of division head of the Shield Sector soon becoming hers. First she were to learn the ropes, however.

The image of the shipyard that could be seen had become a familiar sight to Asha. She had studied it carefully beforehand to know as much about it as possible and as such when the additional sections began to appear her eyes tracked the locations of them near perfectly, knowing where and when they would pop up. The expansion was slowly but steadily coming together, but even during that time the shipyards would still be able to run its operations while construction was still ongoing.

Watching the reactions Asha took another sip of her drink, finishing it. She carefully set it back down to make little to no noise, continuing to be [member="Amelia Sorenn-Syrush"]'s shadow. For as long as she was still learning it would remain that way, but if it was up to her that would not take very long.

Claire leaned forward slightly looking at the expanding shipyard above them. It was an excellent version of a holo she thought. Claire was not familiar with the language of ship buildings.

Looking over at Amelia, "What does sizable class mean? I make dresses not ships so a sizable dress in my world would be something designed for Hutt." Did they mean overall size. She did not want to appear that she did not have a clue but she was not above asking questions of what she did not understand. This was an investment to Claire she didn't really need to understand how to build a ship, she needed to let those who did do it.

She was interested in the expansion it did not seem too aggressive, but she still wanted to know what sizable ship meant.

"For now we are limited."

Amelia turned towards Claire, her golden hues falling upon the woman as the construction continued behind them. Stepping towards the table, she pulled her own chair out, slipping down into her seat as she brought her hands up to rest on the table. Clasping her hands together, she leaned forward slightly, keeping her attention forward.

"Small vessels, nothing larger than a light cruiser would be a sizable class for this type of shipyard."

Leaning back slightly, her nimble fingers wrapped around her glass, bringing it to her lips as she took another sip. Returning her focus upon the flickering image before them that slowly spun, she watched as the sections flickered in sequence as to which portions would be completed first. Leaning forward again and setting her glass back down, she nodded quietly.

"Our focus with this shipyard is to aid in bolstering the fleet of the Free Worlds Coalition, as well as constructing our own defensive fleet to aid in the defense of our corporate assets."
