Commenor Systems Alliance Space
Equatorial Islands
Had it not been for the sun, the view of this place would have been much more enjoyed, though she understood that not everyone could stick to a night life such as herself. Even her lover had begun to search for a means to ensure that she could remain in the sunlight without the ill effects of the gift imparted upon her. With a soft sigh escaping her lips, Amelia remained standing in the shade of the meeting room, though its windows were left open to allow in the breeze.
As she turned back to the table, her hand resting upon the chair she stood next to, her mind returned her to the memories of the Clone Wars. This same structure reminder her so much of those that she had seen on Kashyyyk, and perhaps that was by design or coincidence. Looking up for a moment, her smile remained upon her lips, tugging at the edges as the droid approached.
"Thank you Sella."
The Nartaki droid nodded before stepping away, though stopping at the entry to the small bungalow (for lack of a better term). With five of its six arms folded down, the sixth motioned into the room, showing the guest in.
"Ma'am... Her Royal Highness is here."
Amelia looked up from the datapad she had received from the droid before nodding quietly.
"Thank you Sella."
She spoke once again, finding that things were a bit easier with the droid around now. Setting the datapad down, Amelia smiled, a soft hiss escaping her lips as she slipped the datapad over so the screen now rest against the table. The moment of sunlight reflecting off the screen would leave a small burn upon her cheek, though it would heal in a few minutes.
Bringing her hands up, she pulled her helm off, setting it down next to the datapad on the table. Her hand motioning towards one of the chairs to offer it to the woman.
"I'm glad you were able to meet me. I figured it would be easier this time around by keeping the meeting in CSA Space, rather than have you traipse through the Free Worlds."

Truuine. Kay hadn't been there before. Eventually she'd visit every world under her care, but not yet. Her travelling would soon be put to an end for a while when she's closer to the end of her pregnancy. But here she was, having been invited by [member="Amelia Sorenn-Syrush"] for a meeting. The business woman had free reign to move about CSA space, given the numerous contracts that they had. Her business was legal and above board, so there was no need to put restrictions on them.

Kay's ship The Free Lady touched down on the landing pad. Once the ramp was lowered, she disembarked with two guards in tow. It wasn't as though she was expecting threat from Amelia, but her staff and Ministers insisted that she not go anywhere alone. Even in her own territory.

She entered the building and was guided to the meeting room to where she saw the woman sitting at a table. Kay bowed her head to her, giving her an appreciative smile before taking a seat in one of the offered chairs. "Thank you. I trust that you're doing well since we last met?"

"As well as someone of my kind can do in these trying times... though not as well as you I see."
Amelia motioned towards the woman's figure, though with a more simple and covert nod than an arching motion of her hand. Leaning back slightly, her arms resting on the chair as she slipped one leg over the other. She was not one for idle chat, though she found that it often relaxed others. Motioning with her hand, the droid perked up, the six arms folding together to clasp hands in front of it as Amelia smiled.
"Sella, drinks please... though nothing alcoholic for our guest."
"Yes Ma'am."
The droid would respond as the woman turned her attention back towards the Queen of Commenor. Offering a small smile, she kept her attention upon her guest.
"How far along are you?"
She inquired, though made sure that her tone was in such that if the woman did not feel comfortable with such an invasive question, she could merely brush it aside and Amelia would not press. Settling in her seat to ensure her own comfort, Amelia leaned back again, her hands coming together to rest on top of her knee. Of course it was better that they reach the business at hand, and for that she would need to steer the discussion in that direction; though there was another request that lay below the surface...

Kay raised a brow, not entirely sure of what troubles would give one of Amelia's kind some concern. Was it the daylight? There were some worlds that she knew of that were mostly dark, and of course others held civilizations underground. More than likely it was worlds like those where [member="Amelia Sorenn-Syrush"] 's people came from. She just didn't know about them much to make an intelligent guess.

She rested a her hands unconsciously on her belly, her cheeks blushing slightly as her condition was pointed out. Kay wasn't one to blurt it all out, and neither were those that had commented on it. perhaps they just don't want to insult her, in case it was a mere chance that she was just eating too much. But there were some that felt the life growing inside of her just as she did. At least the surprise was a good and welcomed one.

Now she was being catered to, the droid with multiple arms fetching her a glass of some kind of juice. Kay was used to tea, but a flavourful juice was nice too. She picked up the glass and had a sip, glancing down at her belly as Amelia asked about how far along she was. No one had ever asked that before, except for Veiere when the pregnancy was first discovered. "I'm about five months along now, or nearly that. So it won't be long now. Yet when it gets closer, I won't be able to travel, and more than likely I'll even be restricted from leaving my chambers. So it's nice to get out while I can." Another sip of her juice was taken. "So what brings me here today? Have you some marvel to show me that your company is producing?"

"Nothing so fantastical or awe inspiring your highness... I'm afraid all I've to offer in that regard is the mere knowledge of the structure and its surrounding support buildings shall be the home of a new training facility... Though your presence shall be missed while you're restricted to your chambers in the following months - perhaps a decision that is for the best to ensure the health of your children..."
She took a moment as she leaned forward, her hand grasping the wine glass and lifting it to her lips. The sanguine liquid slipped pass, and for a moment she savored the drink as her eyes closed. A soft sigh escaped her lips as she set the glass back down, her eyes opening once more as those golden hues settled upon the Queen of Commenor.
"My apologies..."
She said simply before her hand slipped away from the glass and once more resting atop her other hand upon her knee. Leaning back again, her attention remained upon her guest as she offered a smile.
"As I was saying, this facility would be utilized to train both those forces supplied by Sorenn-Syrush Industries; as well as being open and available to train units for any defensive or otherwise military units of the Commenor Systems Alliance."
Her attention then shifted, her golden hues peering off into the distance at the various islands that dotted the horizon. She shook her head for a moment before deciding that this was the moment to make such a request.
"Some time ago I sent you a message while I was attending the funeral of what consisted of much of the leadership of an organization called the Holy Order of the Righteous Flame... What that message was pertaining to was a simple request. I've managed to reorganize much of the organization into the Knights of the Pyre - however they are without a home..."
Her golden hues locked with Kay's eyes, making sure she looked the woman in the eye.
"I would like to request your permission to settle them in the territory of the Commenor Systems Alliance with the construction of a citadel to house their ranks..."

Kay nodded, although she wasn't quite sure of how she was going to handle being confined to her chambers. She'd probably get cabin fever. But at least she wouldn't be alone. More than likely she'd be guarded quite well and have a near constant flow of visitors, especially her husband. It was going to be really strange to say the least.

She looked to [member="Amelia Sorenn-Syrush"] as she started to speak about the training facility, both in what it could be used for and what could be housed within it. And then she went on about the Order of the Righteous Flame. Kay knew a little about them, but not much. And the fact that Amelia worked as their leader gave her a moment's pause.

So that's what this was about. Not only was Amelia wanting to relocate her company and her Order, but to give herself a new home too. Kay was a little curious as to what had changed, but didn't ask as it wasn't her business to pry.

"You and your company have done well for us. So of course your request is granted. If you need any help with the process, construction or otherwise than please let me know and I'll have it taken care of."

"I appreciate your offer your Highness, though I would not want to make the appearance of favoritism on your behalf."
Amelia offered a small smile, not wanting the woman to place herself into a position that would otherwise compromise her position and cause others to demand the same favorable treatment. Lifting her own glass once more, she took another sip of the sanguine liquid before setting it down, her tongue slowly slipping along her lower lip for a moment. A soft sigh escaping her lips as she leaned back and closed her eyes, just listening.
The sound of the ocean waves beating against the rocks, the two heart beats coming from the woman before her, she took it all in as she could. Slowly her eyes opened once more, settling upon the Queen. She had in her own way been more than helpful in the time that she had known her, and much more welcoming than those she had been in the presence of previously.
"Though I must request in turn that should you need anything of me, that you do not hesitate to make such a request."

Kay smirked a little to herself. Favouritism? Well she tended to favour those that deserved it, but she wasn't one to be unfair either. Every trade contract and business deal was dealt with fairly and on equal ground. But sometimes it was better to keep projects in house. She understood that.

She sipped her juice and pondered on a certain request that she had in mind. It might be considered silly or absurd by most, to some it could be unwise. But Kay had a habit of following her gut and her ever present hope for the future. Maybe it'd serve her well here too.

"Well, there was an idea that I had. I've been without a Head of Security for some time. That was Darlyn's position before I made him my Minister of Justice. With the coming birth, anyone that might hold a grudge or want to make some kind of point might want to target us. So I could use some help to better ensure that that doesn't happen. Are you interested?"

[member="Amelia Sorenn-Syrush"]

The request was rather unexpected, or rather the offer of such a position in a government caught her by surprise. Taking a moment, she shift in her seat, her legs uncrossing before recrossing the opposite over the former configuration. Her hands once more settling upon her knee as she took a moment to think on the effects it would have. After all though she hadn't really slept much anymore, having constantly slept for hundreds of years at a time when she needed. With a soft smile she picked up her glass and lightly rose it up towards Kay before taking a sip, though kept it firmly in her grasp.

"I would gladly take on this endeavor... Likewise, I can offer some products already in production by Sorenn-Syrush Industries to further ensure the safety and security of yourself and your future progeny."

Amelia offered another smile before taking the final sip from the glass, the sanguine liquid not even leaving behind a trace that it had been in the crystal glass. Setting the glass down carefully, Amelia looked out over the horizon, a soft hiss escaping her lips as the brightness brought a bit of strain to her eyes. Soon enough the area would be filled with a myriad of individuals being trained for various units, which further brought a soft smirk upon her lips.

"Perhaps even the first of those trained at this facility will form a personal guard for yourself and your family."

Kay smiled a little as she realized that she had caught [member="Amelia Sorenn-Syrush"] by surprise. Who knew that that was even possible? Wonders will never cease. She raised her glass of juice and had a sip.

Her words were heard, yet Kay had no idea of what plans her husband had made for their security while at the Estate. In truth, hardly any knew of where it was. "You'll have to speak with my husband on that. I am supposed to be slowing down my activity and workload. I'm not entirely sure of what security measures he has in place at our residence." She had always brought a couple of escorts with her, but they never ventured inside, nor did they stay at all while Veiere was home.

"The Senate Hall has already been attacked once. Extra precautions and security measures must be made there."

With her fingers once more lightly wrapping around the stem of her glass, she took the final sip before setting the now empty glass down. Keeping her golden hues upon Kay, she listened to her words, nodding slightly as she followed along - a smile forming upon her lips - and it seemed that she understood that they would rather keep the exact place where she would be residing after giving birth, secret. Bringing a hand up, she lightly tapped her chin, closing her eyes for a moment and taking a slow breath before exhaling.

"If the Senate has been dissolved for the betterment of the Commenor Systems Alliance, then perhaps the Senate Hall itself should be repurposed - thus ensuring that any additional security and security measures at the building were justified as well..."

Amelia offered the simple suggestion, though she knew that it would be a long way in terms of simply mentioning it and any such action being taken. Still it was something to consider for the moment. A soft sigh would escape her lips as she leaned back again, her golden hues upon Kay once more as her eyes opened again and she offered a smile.

"I do believe though that for now our meeting can be considered concluded your majesty. I wouldn't wish to keep you here any longer to ensure that both your health and the health of the little ones is kept well."

Kay raised a brow slightly. "Repurposed? It already houses representatives for each of the worlds that reside in our territory. Plus my own office, meeting rooms and the like. It's still a government building." She wasn't quite sure of what else that she could use it for. Nor of what [member="Amelia Sorenn-Syrush"] was thinking of using it for.

The meeting was called to an end, however. So she finished up her juice and set the cup down before getting to her feet. "Alright. Thank you. Things will get back to normal soon. In the meantime it's good to know that there are good people to watch over our people and our interests."

With a bow of her head, Kay headed to the door, her guards meeting her in the hallway to escort her back to the Free Lady and to take her home to Commenor.
