Baubles, Trinkets, and decrees

Location: Aldera

In the throne room a seat was placed to the right of the Queens throne. Faith was having Ana assist in completing a task.

"I need to know the names all of them"

Ana in the years she had been with Faith had grown stronger in personality when dealing with the Princess, and was now more than an assistant she was a confidant and friend. Rebekah the newest to Faith's staff was learning the role of secretary to the Princess to allow Ana time with her own family.

"Faith I believe I have all the names they are as follows

[member="Draco Vereen"] - some guy running around screaming
[member="Vilaz Munin"] - Mandalorian Field Marshall
[member="Nick Sept"] - Senator you know
[member="Reen Lorgon"] - with the Republic
[member="Amelia Sorenn-Syrush"] - A noble of Alderaan
[member="Zef Halo"] - a mandalorian

Ana watched Faith to make sure she knew she was ready to continue with the other names, "you asked for the other list on it was
[member="Isley Verd"]
[member="Anija Betna"] and her um husband [member="Arrbi Betna"]
[member="Olivia Dem'adas"]

Faith sat still contemplating, "Very well, you are sure you're not missing anyone I don't want to miss anyone it would be an embarassment." Ana half smiled, "I scoured all the communications I could find these are the only names I could locate if there are others you have my apologies"

Faith sat back her leg and arm still giving her issue but this task she had weighed heavily on her mind. "Not a problem Ana, I'll have you make the apologies"

"Ana then let us draft an invitation to the first group" Quickly a short and to the point invitation was sent to the rescuers. She smiled hoping that all would be able to attend. It was but a small matter to honor someone for saving her life.

[SIZE=26pt]HRH the Crown Princess of Aldera Faith Organa wishes the pleasure of your company at a small dinner on the Planet Aldera. HRH wishes to express her gratitude towards those who worked to save her life on Alderaan during the accords between the Republic and the Mandalorian Clans.[/SIZE]

//RE: Invitation

Of course I will attend, Ner Runi. I would never pass up a chance to be your pleasurable company, nor would I miss out on an opportunity for you to express your gratitude on me.

:wub:

Love,
Your Knight-Errant.

//End Message

Ana looked at the message, and then looked to Faith, "I think when i see messages from Draco I'm just going to save them for you. Luckily this one is only words, no selfies and is only words, yes he'll come and he loves you. OH and something about expressing your gratitude all over him and I don't want to know what he means only a fool would NOT know what he means"

Ana shook her head, "thank god no selfies.."

Faith was giggling so hard she thought she'd fall out of her chair all she could see was Ana making these faces, and the tone of her voice sent her over the edge.

"Don't worry Ana, he saves all his selfies just for me, you can reply if you like he probably doesn't realize you open my mail."

Ana arched a sarcastic brow, "I can can I...ok..'

//RE: Invitation

Considering you asked so nicely, I'll attend your get together. Just please promise me it won't be taking place in the freezing cold like our last meeting.

Ana smiled, "Well more have responded Faith, [member="Reen Lorgon"] and Field Marshall [member="Vilaz Munin"] , that's three leaving three more to respond"

Faith was happy, "Be sure to send them coordinates and bid them welcome"

Ana responded.

//Transmissions to Reen Lorgon and Vilaz Munin

So excited to see you all again.

The coordinates for dinner here by given. We will see you in two days time"

HRH Princess Faith

//end transmission

Ana was pleased.

Nick Sept

Worst Ghost in the Galaxy
Sept read the invitation and grinned, his glowing eyes thrumming slightly. Drinks with friends. That would be a lovely change of pace. Also, likely not a dangerous change of pace, which would be nice. He typed out a reply.

Your highness,

I'll be happy to attend, however, I will likely need to borrow a holoterminal nearby the next day to handle a few meetings. Can't let my messages pile up on my desk too long without a crisis sneaking under the table, after all. Also, would you like me to bring anything? I've not been to a dinner party in a while.

With regards,
Senator Sept

[spoiler/]

He chuckled as he begin typing a few things up. He could set this up, hit Alderaan, be back before he needed to redesign the new plans for the creation of a University system. He smirked. This could totally work.

Ana nodded, "one more Faith Senator Nick Sept has also responded that he will come"

"Excellent" Faith laughed well "So almost everyone, well I'm happy for that"

//transmission to [member="Nick Sept"]

The Princess looks forward to welcoming you to Aldera, here are the coordinates. Shall see you in a couple of days

//end transmission

"Well that confirms everyone except [member="Amelia Sorenn-Syrush"] with the confirmation from Zef Halo" Ana was surprised that everyone from the Republic and the Mandalorians had responded but not the Alderaan Noble. It was not for Ana to figure out why,

//thank you [member="Zef Halo"] we look forward to having you join us, please follow these coordinates and we'll see you in two days time//

Ana rubbed her hands together, "ok now we get to plan dinner"

Nodding in agreement Faith began to think of what needed to be done, "yes let's prepare the Royal Residence of Aldera for visitors, ensure that a transport will be at the spaceport, direct all vessels to Aequor Spaceport, and make sure the Royal Guard know their tasking." Faith rose up and moved toward a window, "two days seems like a long time but it will fly by so quickly"

In two days everything was set, the transport waited on the Aequor Space port to bring [member="Draco Vereen"] [member="Vilaz Munin"] [member="Nick Sept"] [member="Zef Halo"] and [member="Reen Lorgon"] to the palace. Faith was ready all she needed now was something appropriate to wear which meant Claire was on hand from Alderaan.

"Ok Claire, what's on the menu?" Claire brought out the pictures of items she had her choice of, "Hmmm"

Two days later

The entire staff was now on full alert, today was the day. Today those who had saved Faith's life would come to Aldera.

Patience.

Draco arrived wearing his traditional armor, well polished and freshly painted so that it looked more professional, more regal than normally. The Yellow and gray he wore adorned with a favor bearing the colors of House Organa, his own sword on his side, the very different beskad hanging in a insulated leather scabbard on his hip.

He arrived at the transport and stood waiting, the leather fauld covering his legs, red visor shielding his eyes, armor covering his body. Faith had invited him, and the others that had helped save her life, to this and so he had come without complaint. Mostly, he was just happy to see her again, and he wasn't exactly sure what she intended to do for these people.

Until then, Draco stood waiting for the others, his projects on hold and his partner working alone on their newest project for now.

Reen Lorgon

Pilot. Smuggler. Incredibly handsome. I got it all
Reen landed at Aequor Spaceport at a good time, and stepped out onto the landing pad wearing his usual gear, although he had cleaned it up a bit. This would be the first time he'd actually talk to the princess, since the first time he'd met her she'd been on the brink of freezing to death and therefore wasn't in a talking mood. He looked around for a couple of minutes taking in his surroundings before heading to the place where he was to be picked up. Draco was standing there, and he looked both regal and terrifying at the same time. Reen walked up to him and stood in silence, not sure whether to speak or not. [member="Draco Vereen"]

It was not that she had ignored, or completely forgotten of the invitation as much as it was the sheer amount of requests, orders, and paper work that passed along her desk. It had only been a day or so before the day in question that she managed to get around to the missive. Thus at that moment she let out a heavy sigh as she leaned over the heavy desk. Her fist pressing against it before she looked towards a messenger. If anything she would send something better than a simple reply, she would send her support and herself.

Taking a moment to collect her thoughts, she nodded softly as the individual stepped forward. Amelia closed her eyes as she walked around the heavy desk before leaning against the front. The missive still held in her hand before she set it down upon the table. Slowly her eyes opened as she looked to the messenger.

"Go to Alderaan. Inform the Princess that I will arrive late this evening. My apologies for my rudeness in the tardiness of my reply. The preparation of a Crusade into the former territory of the Primeval has prevented my rapid reply of personal missives."

A staunch nod and a salute was followed by the messenger before they left, the message would be carried straight to the Princess. The individual was escorted by two others of the Order; and they would speak with none save the Princess herself to offer the formal apologies of their Commander. Now though Amelia had a moment to collect her thoughts once more. As much as the dinner was something that would be appreciated, or rather would be enjoyed, there was still much that she had to deal with.

Shaking the thoughts from her mind, she pushed herself up from the heavy desk, leaving what was there to be dealt with her subordinates. For now she had affairs of state to deal with; even if she would prefer to remain with the Order. At least this time she figured that the formal gown wasn't needed. Taking a moment for herself, she stepped from the office before being escorted towards a waiting vessel that would carry her back to Alderaan.

The young cyborg smirked as he approached the palace. Alderaan was a nice planet. And Faith was a nice person. It was kind of funny, but for a spook, she was as altruistic as they came. Then there was Draco. Nice, but blunt. He smirked as he looked at the other present. "Good to see you all! How's it going?" The cyborg from nowhere in particular nodded to both Draco and Reen. "Reen, I haven't sen you in a while. I trust the Navy's keeping you in good business? And Draco, it's good to see you again, although I'm certain it wasn't for my sake you cleaned up," he said with a chuckle. It was good natured ribbing, but Nick was still pretty goofy at the whole relationship thing.

He smirked. "Seriously, it is good to see some friendly faces. Republic relations in this area are still a bit dodgy, sadly. Some wounds take longer to heal than others, I suppose," he said with a slight sigh. While the Republic had maintained their dominion over the world, it had definitely been a struggle to reunite and harmonize the outcomes thereof. Many parties were likely opposed, and even the queen herself had been more than reluctant about the whole affair. Still, he was hoping to mend bridges. That was what he did best. Well, that and make dramatic speeches. But he had done three of those already today.

Location: The Planet Aldera, the Aequor Spaceport

The Aldera Royal Guard approached the three travelers, recognizing the Knight Errant of Aldera they nodded and snapped to attention. "Captain Lindsey's compliments Commander Vereen. We are ordered to take the first of the arrivals to the palace. HRH waits to greet everyone there"

He gestured for them to follow to the nearby transport.

[member="Nick Sept"] [member="Reen Lorgon"] [member="Draco Vereen"]

Faith was looking at clothes still while Claire continued to offer a few items, Faith however rolled her eyes, "think official Claire" Then they both groaned.

Reen Lorgon

Pilot. Smuggler. Incredibly handsome. I got it all
Reen nodded in response, before looking at the other two. "Come on guys, don't wish to keep royalty waiting now do we?" He then began to follow the Royal Guard, hoping he wasn't the only one to do so, that would be awkward.

The Warrior arrived in his personal armor that was polished and maintained every time when Vilaz returned back from a day's worth of fighting, yet some dents in the armor couldn't be undo and fixed by the hands of the most expert beskarsmiths he knew of. Dented or not, his armor served him well in every situation and guaranteed him victories ninety-nine percent of the time. He would reforge his armor once the plates no longer could protect him like they did once.

Late he was, but it was best to be late than never. And he also brought food that the folks of Concord Dawn ate which reflected the scenario of the planet. A squad of guards came to him and before they could say anything, the Field Marshal said, "I'm Vilaz Munin and the princess invited me to this meeting." Giving his identification and intent of why he was here, the guards would escort him to where the others were at.

Draco nodded to each of the arrivals as they came, remaining silent. The appointed hour was not yet upon them, and Draco almost always arrived early to events that Faith invited him to. It was a force of habit almost, but this was different. This wasn't some fancy gala or ball that he could get to early and leave early. This wasn't some public event he didn't really want to suffer through but did for her sake.

When the transport arrived for the motley group, Draco boarded and sat somberly in the back of the transport. Deep inside he was grateful all these men had helped look for his Faith, but at the end of the day, he loathed that he had needed their help in the first place. It was a matter of pride and always would be. Whether they knew it or understood it, their presence here, her gratitude to them, it was an insult to his pride as protector of the flock, the shepherd of his own. He was meant to be the one, and the only one to keep his safe and well, and these others had encroached on his territory and claimed responsibility for his flock's well-being. One even introduced himself as the 'Savior of the Princess', almost as though directed as an insult, meant to humiliate him.

Faith didn't know it, Draco hadn't said it. He would never tell her, but this ceremony was an assault on his honor, an attack against his pride, and confirmation to the galaxy that he was not enough to protect his own. Dark storm grey eyes looked up from the floor of the transport, viewing each of his 'compatriots' silently, expressionlessly.

Zef hated spaceports, quite ironic for a former smuggler. This one, though, had this wealthy Alderaani feel to it that made him feel truly relaxed. He had arrived with his armor polished and well maintained as it was supposed to be when one had to sit on a table with a royalty. As the tradition was that a guest was to bring a gift of his own, the scoundrel carried two bottles of the rare blossom wine. Something he did not personally enjoy being an ale man but something that was good enough for a noble.

"Zef Halo." He stated to the Alderaani guards as they took a look at their datapads. Using his armor for identification than anything else. With a nod, the captain of the guards took him towards the transport which would take them away from the transport and to where Faith Organa was supposed to be.

Upon entering, the Mandalorian felt as if he was back on Mandalore. Most of those invited were Mandalorians that were part of the rescue mission of the princess which had occured at the time of the negotiations between the Mandalorians and the Galactic Republic regarding Alderaan. Zef assumed the rest were delegates of the Republic so he did not bother with them but simply regarded the Mandalorians with a tap on his helmet.
