Private Ashes upon a Moon

Solitude
Lake Country, Naboo
It had been some time since she had secluded herself away from the Confederacy, hidden away at the fringes of its territory at the Dustcairn Plantation on the Agriworld of Ukio - and even there, at what seemed to be the precipice, so easy to step off into Wild Space, there were still those that found her. Originally she had sought the quiet seclusion to allow herself a moment to breathe after the events that had transpired when she originally left Naboo - resigning from her former position as the Grand Marshal of Naval Command in protest - though it was the others that had seemed to shake her from her attempted seclusion that brought her back to Naboo, rather, it was two troublesome little bunny droids that managed to succeed in that aspect. Their mistress, the famed 'Dread Queen' of the Confederacy, had dispatched them to deliver a message, and it was one that was rather blunt and straightforward. Though it was what was needed to draw Amelia away from the edge of the Confederacy and back to its beating heart - a heart that was, even now, in danger of being destroyed.
The Sith Empire had fallen in its Civil War with the New Imperial Order, and along with it too fell the likes of the Warlords of the Sith, and the Sith Eternal - leaving much of the territory now in danger of being consumed by the Bryn'adul or New Imperial Order if the likes of the Jedi were incapable of rapidly claiming those worlds to protect them from a far more devastating end. Of course, the Confederacy of Independent Systems hadn't gone untouched either - and in more recent months there had been a shakeup in its very own hierarchy. The Former Vicelord Darth Metus Darth Metus , an individual that had lead the Confederacy for countless years had stepped down from the position, and now in his stead stood Gerwald Lechner Gerwald Lechner , the former head of the Knights Obsidian. This too had called attention to the Confederacy, for now, it seemed that with the Sith threat removed, the New Imperial Order was more than willing to turn its eyes upon the Confederacy and its so-called "Sith Leadership".
Times were indeed changing, and perhaps the Confederacy would weather this storm, or perhaps it would be that which signalled its death-knell. For the moment, Amelia was more than content with remaining on Naboo and settling into the new home that had been constructed in the depths of the Lake Country and what little mountainous terrain that it held. Solitude, as it was called, was designed to provide just that, a means to seclude oneself from the Galaxy while remaining staunchly within the beating heart of the Confederacy. It would be here though that she would reveal the gift that she had for Srina Talon Srina Talon - one that had been crafted and constructed after the woman had called upon Amelia to no longer languish in obscurity and reclaim her own glory that had been set aside.
With a soft smile upon her lips, she carefully brought the crystalline vessel up, slowly sipping the sanguine liquid that lay within and enjoying the flavor for a moment. The large desk - a replica of the one on the Astraeus - had just as quickly become covered in datapads and plastisheets of information regarding her own plans and endeavors that centered around Von Sorenn Industries. Always one to attempt to plan for the future, there was a plan that was slowly being formed - a means to ensure that in the unlikely event that the Confederacy couldn't withstand the oncoming storm, then some modicum of their beliefs and values would survive into the future to perhaps ensure that it would rise once more at a later time. The newest addition, that of Seventy-Seven, a fairly young Human Replica Droid, made the daunting task of sifting through the work all the more bearable.
For the moment, all that remained was to patiently wait for her guest to arrive - for Amelia had a special present for the Dread Queen of the Confederacy, Srina Talon Srina Talon , waiting within Solitude.

Her ship hovered for a moment just above the private landing pad before the hydraulics kicked in and the ramp smoothly deployed. If she had been traveling off-world she would have taken the Ferocity. It was fast with unbelievable armaments, stealth, and formidable defenses. For this trip? She took the Neverfall. It was a gift from a friend whom she had not heard from in quite some time, but it was still a reliable ship. It moved very quickly and had every feature she might require.

It was faster than most anything the Confederacy had to offer. Sometimes, speed was of the essence.

The bright day of Naboo ensured that the solar sails had a perfect charge. She stepped from the ship without guard, though, two rabbit droids did hop behind her. Hand in hand. It had been some time since she had seen Amelia von Sorenn Amelia von Sorenn with her own eyes. However, her presence in Lake Country told her that her rabbits had done their duty. She also had something to return.

BNI-Leo had managed to slip some sort of small diadem into his chassis as a victory over the TallOne™ (of course for her impudence) and had presented it to Srina as a “spoil of war” upon returning with Darth Metus. Things had changed within the Confederacy. That was true. Few would be more intimately affected than the Echani that currently stepped from down the ramp. Her clothing was formal, though, not so formal that she was armor bound. She was not unarmed, as she never was, but it would be far from obvious to even the most skilled of eyes.

She didn’t feel threatened by Lady Von Sorenn. Rather, it was a safety measure against outside forces.

Her hands held a glass case that protected the “borrowed” diadem between them. Long white hair had been left loose and free, except, for twin plaits that were braided back to keep the silken mane from falling in her eyes. It would be longer, now, since her hologram had projected. Maliphant seemed to like it that way, thus, she left it. She wore a simply ivory dress with thin straps and a gossamer cloak with silver appliques that held it in place.

A droid greeted her.

“Greetings. State your name, please.”

“Srina Talon.”

“Ah—Right this way Exarch Talon. Lady Von Sorenn is expecting you.”

Srina fell into step behind the motorized droid and listened lightly while it began to give her the high points of Solitude. It was ironic. The former Grand Marshal had left herself to dwindle on the edges of the Southern Systems, actually, in solitude. But this? This was Naboo. It gave the illusion of privacy but it was only one short ride via ship to civilization.

Perhaps, Srina thought, that Illusion was enough.

The light click of low-heeled shoes echoed in the seemingly empty fortress. Laces tied up her calves that peeked through her skirts when she moved, but other than that, there was nothing but the sound of the protocol droid yammering on. From the view to her timeliness—It went on and on.

“Here we are milady, please, this way.”

The droid opened the door for her before moving to the side to reveal a large room with a desk that was covered in items. With the lady of the house not far away. Srina stepped softly within and a light breeze would pull the barely-there scent of vanilla and sandalwood. “Amelia.”

It was the same tone that her hologram had greeted her. Were it not for a very distinct and loud Force Signature it would have been easy to mistake her for that or a statue. She was so still, posture perfect, but very much so there in the flesh. Her little rabbits peeked around her skirts at their host and at least had the programming to look bashful. Afterall, their mistress was holding a bit of "borrowed" property that they hadn't expected to be caught for.

"Hello TallOne™/Lady Von Sorenn.", they both greeted at the same time, though, Leo was still peeved.

Amelia's own attire had been that which she had become more accustomed to wearing as of late - when she was not engaged in some battle or in some dire situation that required that her person be protected to the fullest extent. It had been some time since such an event had occurred - being that as it may, she still took the time to practice and adorn herself in armor when it was suitable. For now, the semi-business attire would have to do as she carefully set a datapad down whilst Seventy-Seven cleared a few sheets of paper from the desk in an attempt to tidy up the surface for the new guest that had arrived. Looking up from her task that had been at hand, one that was just as easily set aside for the moment, she slowly rose to her feet. After all, it would be rather impolite for her to remain seated whilst her guest arrived standing.

Those striking golden-yellow hues fell upon Srina, taking in the visage of the alluring woman that seemed to make any room she stepped into stop and take notice. She was sure that the woman lit up like a beacon for those connected to the Force, though for Amelia, it was the radiant and striking Echani features that made her take notice of the woman. With a soft smile tugging at her lips, a hint of her fangs shown for a moment as she carefully pushed her crystalline drinking vessel to the side while motioning towards one of the seats in the office. Her attention shifting for a moment to the glass case that the Exarch held within her hands - before those same Golden-yellow hues fell upon the two Rabbit droids that sheepishly hid behind their mistress.

"So that is where it got off too... it would have been a shame to have to inform Exarch John Locke John Locke that I had lost the diadem that he had so painstakingly crafted and gifted to me."

There was a hint of rage within her voice, though it was one that just as quickly passed now that she knew where the item had been, or rather, where it had found itself no longer in her possession and by the exact means and whom to attribute the loss towards. With a soft sigh, she moved towards the seats, a large 'L' shaped couch with two separate chairs facing it - all arranged around a dark-oak colored coffee table. Looking from Srina back to her assistant, she smiled softly.

"Would you care for a drink or some form of refreshment?"

Amelia asked simply as she carefully leaned back into her seat, crossing one leg gracefully over the other as her hands came to rest upon her knee. Her attention once more shifting back to her guest as Seventy-Seven stepped forward, placing the crystalline drinking vessel in front of Amelia before looking expectantly towards Srina and the two rabbit droids that accompanied the woman.
