The Spacepiress of Chaos
3644 BBY...
A year that although passed many thousands of years ago still held a vivid scent and memories to it that had become seared into the woman's mind. She spent that year, and much of the following years tearing through the Killik hive that had lain waste to House Syrush, absorbing much of the house and keeping others as slaves. Even with the survivors eventual rescue by the Republic, the House as it was became nothing, faded away as those survivors slipped quietly into the other House of Alderaan.
The day she remembered most was when the Killiks had been discovered as their mountain tunnels were torn open, the estate conquered by the Killiks, and a man whom became her father lain slain at her feet. She had been too late to help, and her anger caused her to keep up her little private war. For a moment as she closed her eyes she could hear the sounds of battle, the screams, the chittering of the Killiks, and the smell of blood and smoke.
When she opened her eyes once more she was back in the present. Even now she was a bit uncomfortable, her leg shaking in rhythm as she rest her chin against her clenched together fists. Another heavy sigh escaped her lips as she stood up from the darkened alcove, her anxiety taking hold for a moment. Even now she found it difficult to reconcile what she had seen in the past.
She had seen the news story as it broke, of how Alderaan had been harboring weapons of war and that they had destroyed themselves. She had seen the asteroid field that was left in its wake; in what would later be known as how the Empire destroyed the world with the first Death Star. Though now she stood upon its grounds once more, her boots clicking against the hall of the large waiting chamber in the new capital.
The world had been rebuilt, yet it still felt wrong to her, as if there was something missing. A soft click slipped between her lips as she had for a moment slipped pass a ray of sunlight that slipped into the hall. Her skin emitting a painful burn, the reddened mark though was already returning to the alabaster color. She didn't like that they were meeting at such a time, and even looking away from where she had been made it a strain upon her eyes.
Slowly she slipped back into the heavy shadows of the small alcove she found, taking the seat once more as she waited. With her she had only brought a few, already knowing that the actions of House Thul were more thank likely going to make what she was about to suggest, or rather request, that much more difficult. A heavy sneer broke the silence as she thought about what they had done, her leg beginning to jitter up and down once more as she looked to the young woman that she had brought with her.
"What is your take on all this?"
It was a true question, one which she posed without any hint of disdain or distrust. She was genuinely asking for the girl's opinion on what she was about to do. Her eyes narrowed as she looked towards the far end of the hall. The question that was to be asked next before those she had come to see in the High Council chambers was one which she felt was needed.
A request, plain and simple. Rebuild House Syrush, and in doing so, build a temple fortress for the Order of the Righteous Flame. With the Republic pushed off world, and the Sith border so near to Alderaan, it was a vital location; and the option, no the opportunity that presented itself had to be taken.
