Once Upon Alderaan

The talks had concluded, though the end was not near; the decision would not be known for some time and in that time she had a moment to relax to pull herself from the Galaxy. The trip through New Alderaa was quick enough in the speeder, those members of the Order had been returned after their aiding in the location of the lost Princess. Now it was in the hands of the Mandalorians and the Republic, though the final decision she would be forced to accept even if it were not the one that she had desired. With a heavy sigh she looked out the window of the speeder, watching the buildings rush by as they pushed down the main way towards the hotel.

At least she had the forethought to reserve a room while House Syrush was rebuilding. As much as she preferred armor and the Order, there were times when a soft bed was needed. Slightly rubbing her thighs together, she was becoming a bit anxious, perhaps having spent enough time in the gown. At least she knew it caught the eye of the woman that sat at her side, the younger woman that was just recently afforded a promotion she had deserved and eared through her loyalty.

There was of course the matter of the gift that was also offered. She did not know if she would accept or not, though even Amelia was beginning to wonder. Something drove her to find someone, or to have someone she could count on in the years to come; someone to be by her side for longer than a few decades. With the thought a heavy sigh slipped from her lips just as the speeder stopped before the luxurious hotel, pulling into the covered valet as the door was opened.

"I suppose it is time to reveal this gown to others."

She spoke under her breath as a hand was offered to her, helping her from her seat as she slipped from the vehicle. Covering her eyes for a moment she squinted, hating the brightness even with the shade of the covering.

"Your luggage arrived earlier ma'am and is in your room. Here is your key."

Amelia merely nodded as she pulled the keycard from the grasp of the worker, replacing it with a credchit before slipping the keycard into her bust. A soft sigh escaped her lips as she caught the glimpses and the clear neck crinks as she made her way into the hotel. For now she was merely thinking of relaxing and that meant getting out of this damned gown that was putting her on show.

The short trip in the turbolift seemed to take a lift time before she was delivered to the penthouse suite. As she slipped the keycard out and pushed the doors open, she glimpsed back to ensure that Fiore was still following, her mind so focused on getting to the room that she had forgotten for a moment the young woman; though she figured that she kept up.

Throwing the keycard down on the nearest table, she smirked as the large transparisteel windows were already tinted, the room cool as she took a soft, deep breath. Reaching behind her, her slender fingers found the zipper of the gown, slowly pulling it down the length before she let out her breath. As the zipper slipped down, her back was revealed, as scared as it was, though her face was wearing a smirk as she brought her hands up the front.

Not a single thought slipped through her mind as her hands pushed at the front of the gown, slipping the sewn in cups off of her breasts before the gown fell to the floor. Puddling at her feat, she stretched slightly, closing her eyes and feeling the cool air wash over her body with only her lower half still hidden in undergarments. Slipping out of the heels, she looked over her shoulder to see the reaction upon Fiore's face.

The ride to where Amelia was staying didn’t seem as long as it felt. She kept her attention on the windows, but with them being heavily tinted she missed out on a bit of the scenery. It was alright though, she had seen enough of the planet while they had originally traveled into port. The planet seemed like any other heavily populated planet, full of buildings and lacking in greenery. This planet though gave off a blue hue from atmosphere, it was pretty and Fiore appreciated it more from space than being planetside.

Her mind continue to wander wondering what Mira was up to mostly and if she was alright. Fiore made a mental note to send the girl a message when they had arrived at the room. The speeder stopped and she worked to catch up to Amelia who seemed in a hurry. Eyes darted from side to side, mostly surveying the area, the better she knew where they were the better should could play bodyguard. It was a role she wasn’t too keen on playing. Her place was in the battle field, but this was what Amelia wanted from her, so she did what she was told to do.

They entered the room and Fiore closed the door behind her carefully. Fingers ran through her own hair as she felt a bit more relaxed now that they were out of the public view. Groups of people still made her nervous, especially if she was in an environment she wasn’t accustomed too. Looking down at her hand, she started to trace the hallway of the floor and marking invisible x’s to mark the exits and possible hidden points where someone who was interested in assassination would take advantage of. She was so focused on her duty that when she looked up she caught a glimpse of Amelia removing herself from the dress.

Her voice was hushed, but she apologized anyways. “S-Sorry.” Her back turned to the woman as she stared at the wall trying to mentally check herself and return a calm sense to her mind. She needed to focus and not become distracted with anything, though deep down she did miss Mira. A hand remembering the Jedi, clutched the lightsaber she kept close to her. Trying to change the subject or obtain a subject that was not Commander why are you so naked, Fiore quickly questioned. “W-what are we doing now that the talks are over?” [member="Amelia Sorenn-Syrush"]

A simple glimpse over her shoulder was enough to notice that the young woman had turned her back, more than likely to keep her eyes and mind on something else. Amelia though only let out a soft sigh as she slowly spun around, her eyes falling upon her before stepping forward. Perhaps it wasn't that she wasn't interested, as much as she were focused upon someone else. Slowly approaching from behind, Amelia continued to make no attempt to cover herself, nor to change the subject away from her so brazenly stripping before the woman that had been thrust into the position as private bodyguard.

Taking a moment to check herself mentally, Amelia let out a soft sigh as the question was poised. What to do indeed? She thought to herself, her mind already filled with a possibility as she came up behind Fiore. Quietly she slipped her right arm around her first, testing the water to see how she could react. Her right hand coming to rest upon Fiore's left hip, only to slowly be followed by her left arm lightly wrapping around her shoulder; as so her left hand now rest upon Fiore's right shoulder. Leaning forward, she lightly pressed herself into the woman's back, her chin coming to rest upon her shoulder, her lips brushing against her ear slightly.

"We relax... for a time..."

Amelia said quietly, almost a whisper so it was only Fiore to hear as if she were worried about anyone else over hearing her blatantly throwing herself upon the young woman. Her approach though was one in which she was, at least in her own mind, attempting not to force rank. The last thing she needed was for Fiore to think that she would pull rank just to get what she wanted, or to abuse or capitalize upon their relationship just as her former Master had abused the link between himself and Fiore.

Her grip though, or rather lack thereof, was more than loose enough so that Fiore could just as simply step away from the embrace. Amelia though was hoping that she wouldn't even if she would not openly admit such a thought. With as much as had been done with the Order, it was a simple little time like this that she needed more than ever. She had spent much of her life pushing others away, and for what ever reason she was drawing this one in closer, permitting her to pierce the shields and barriers that she had erected over a life time.

Pushing those thoughts from her mind, she returned to the moment at hand. Her own hands lightly tightening the embrace, testing the waters once more. Her form pressed against Fiore, and now all that she could do was wait and see what would happen next. Where they would go from there, and if the room was to remain shared or if it would become lonely...

The movement and the hold that came next was unexpected, Fiore didn’t know how to respond, but her body functioned without thought. She stiffened for a moment, mostly from the shock of having Amelia suddenly be behind her and wrapping her arms around her in such a way. The familiarity of a woman’s body pressed against her back side and she was quickly reminded of Mira. She missed her terribly and she wondered if the girl was still out there and if she was waiting for her. Though any thought was interupted quickly by Amelia’s whisper.

The woman’s warm breath tickled against Fiore’s ear, a sensitive spot that only Mira seemed to have known about up until now. Fiore wondered if it was a common thing for people to have that spot just against their ear. The words tickled against her and Fiore was forced to catch her breath. She had no idea what was being thought of by her Commander or why she was holding her like this. Nothing made sense anymore, the woman was her superior, but seemed to favor her above the others. Was this what favoritism was like? Did this mean that she would gain favor with their group? Would she become a more important tool for Amelia against the Force Users?

Fiore didn’t know what to do next, she didn’t know what was being wanted from her in this situation. Her heart raced and she could feel it crawling up her throat threatening to burst from her mouth. Closing her eyes, she tried to center herself like she did when she was a padawan. Drawing on some sort of calming thought process she would be able to control herself. Relax, Amelia wanted to relax but what did that entail? Fiore remained in the woman’s arms and she turned her head slightly towards the woman’s face and returned the whispered gesture. “What is it you that you want to do?” She would help her commander relax, it was her duty to be at the woman’s side. [member="Amelia Sorenn-Syrush"]

Her grip loosened on the lightsaber and moved to pat lightly one of the arms that embraced her. Advancements like this was lost on Fiore, most human interaction was lost on her as she was lost in the forests of Kashyyykk for so long. Even before that, the lack of care and touch was beyond her reach with Trask’s way of teaching. He was distant and Fiore was consistently searching for his approval. Closing her eyes, she wanted Amelia’s approval, she wanted the woman’s guidance in this world she didn’t know. Even then, there was a secret that she knew would ruin the woman’s approval of her. The relationship that Fiore held so dear and close to her heart. That relationship involved a Jedi, one that Fiore would hold onto till the end. “How can I help you relax, Amelia?” Fiore tested the waters and wondered if behind closed doors all formalities were given up. Saying the woman’s name felt odd, but she wondered if it was what she was searching for.

Her name spoken from this young woman's lips took a moment to register in her mind. She had only ever heard formal words, commander, master, this though was a welcomed advancement. A soft smile slipped across her lips, her eyes peering into the young woman's. In that moment, for the first time in what seemed to be countless ages, she actually felt something. For years, since the fall of House Syrush, she had kept others at bay. After all it was much easier to not mourn when you didnt know the person whose just fallen at your feet upon the battlefield. So in that moment her mind screamed at her, that internal voice shouted out.

'Karking hell Amelia, what the feth are you doing!?'

That voice though was drowned out, pushed from her mind, or to the very least to the back of her mind. What would she do if she lost this woman? What would happen now if something happened to her? She was setting herself up for pain, a pain she had known before and yet she seemed to have forgotten that pain in this very moment. How could she permit it to taint what was becoming a moment of bliss and happiness. Though the thought returned, for the question was poised. The first question, 'what was is that she wanted to do?'.

The last thing that Amelia wanted though was for her to feel as if she was doing this because she was her commanding officer. No that's not why she was in that room with her, it had nothing to do with rank. Oddly enough it had everything to do with a connection, even if it was one sided; for it was simple. Even as Amelia desired the out come that she had been playing in her mind, she would not force the situation to come. Taking a soft breath and lightly tightening the grip of her arms around the young woman, Amelia turned her face slightly.

'Now or never...'

That thought pushed through her mind before she found her lips pressing upon the soft lips of the woman whom she was wrapped around. She wondered in that moment as their lips met what was to happen from this point on. Would it be a simple shared kiss, an awkward moment that would lead to her leaving? Or would it turn into something else? Slowly as the kiss was broken, and Amelia slowly opened her eyes once more, she looked upon Fiore's face, looking for her reaction.

Her grip around the woman loosened, though she kept her close. Now she would wait and see, see what her actions would bring about. The feeling was alien to her, her heart was pounding just as fast. Blood rushing through her veins as she took another deep breath, her emotions running rampant. This was unusual, and she liked it, even if in the end the affection would not be returned; at least for this moment she could pretend that it would be.

The following moments after her question passed slow yet felt like an instant. Fiore only had a moment to inhale and catch her breath before the nude form of her commander inched closer than she had ever done in the beginning. There was something that always kept some sort of distance between them. Something that she really didn’t understand beyond being close with Mira and the feeling in her stomach twisted like when she was close to Mira. Confusion filled her mind as she tried to make any sense of this nude closeness between her and Amelia. Inhaling deeply, Fiore attempted to take a step back mostly so that she could have some distance between her and the woman.

The young former jedi didn’t have enough time to make distance between her and Amellia. Without the distance for her to clear her mind before Amelia took advantage of the hesitation. Lips brushed against hers and Fiore felt her body tense instantly. Wide eyed and confused, Fiore stared at Amelia, she didn’t know what to do next, she knew what she would do if the woman in front of her was Mira, but with it not being Mira - Fiore was lost. Was it possible for more than one person to be interested in the same person? The idea of soulmates and ‘one for every person’ started to shred with holes. If Mira and Amelia both had feelings for her, what would happen to the other? The thoughts spiraled in Fiore’s mind, but she didn’t push Amelia away, but she also didn’t return the kiss.

Not being able to breath after a few minutes, Fiore pressed her fingertips into Amelia’s bare biceps. She could feel the years of training in the woman’s muscles and how she was nervous about all of this . Fingertips were light, as she pressed against Amelia pulling herself away from the kiss. Inhaling deeply Fiore did her best to gather her thoughts, but with she felt herk knees buckle as she nearly collapsed. “D-did that help you r-relax?” She felt guilt wash over her as she thought of Mira and sighed softly. [member="Amelia Sorenn-Syrush"]

For a moment it seemed as everything slowed down the moment their lips touched, it was as if time had stood still though even in those few seconds that seemed an eternity, Amelia could feel that something wasn't right. She felt the young woman's body tense for a moment, as if she were surprised and not sure what to do in return. Feeling those slender fingers upon her biceps pushing was enough of a signal for Amelia to break the kiss as well. It was then that she could see the conflict within Fiore. Had Amelia just done something wrong? Of course she had, her mind told her. There was something though that shown through a bit, a look of worry and hesitation that was just beneath the surface.

"The hell did you just do!?"

The little voice screamed in her mind, and for that moment of bliss it seemed like a storm of troubles was to follow behind. Though when she felt the young woman drop slightly as Fiore's knees buckled, Amelia's own reflexes kicked in. Without a single word, just movement her arm slipped down into the crook of the young woman's knees before lifting her up. Amelia's other arm wrapped around her shoulders as she stood there with Fiore, holding her as she looked upon the beauty.

"D-did that help you r-relax?"

It was a moment before she heard the question, her own mind racing with the possibilities and the outcomes of what she had just done. What could potentially happen in the coming days. Had she just lost Fiore? Had she just done something so egregious that she would lose the closest person to her? It seemed as if time had slowed once more, her mind trying to find an answer to the question. What was the right answer though? Was there a right answer?

Slowly she drew in a breath, taking her moment as she looked up Fiore. Carefully she turned around, still holding her; no carrying her as she moved to the bedroom in the large suite. The single bed in the room, the one that Amelia had planned on sharing with Fiore, though now it seemed that she would sleep upon the furnishings in the large open sitting room. Looking up Fiore again, she carefully lay the woman upon the bed before slipping down, sitting on the edge, one arm resting upon the opposite side of Fiore so that Amelia was leaning over her.

Carefully her hand came up, brushing against the young woman's cheek as she looked at her. Even then as she tried to find the bright spot still in this situation her mind was screaming at her to let it go. Amelia though just couldn't, she couldn't risk losing this young woman, one whom she had come to rely upon so heavily. Even with her skills, with her being the warrior she was, Amelia couldn't think of not having Fiore at her right hand.

"Y-yes. Though I feel that I've unleashed a storm within you."

Amelia finally spoke, seeing clearly that even Fiore was having her own reservations as to what had just happened. A simple kiss that could, no that had changed where their relationship stood.

There were extreme waves of confusion flowing through her. The once emotionless padawan of the Jedi Order was now dealing with not only the fury of emotions from her lover Mira Rekali, but now the affections her Master and Commander had for her. Everything seemed to go against all the training and the lessons she had learned from childhood. Moments like this made her wish she remained in the Kashyyyk wilderness and lived out her days hunting and fishing searching for a way to find her former teacher. Those times were easier, there she just had to worry about her hate and revenge not the affections of others.

This was a realm she had never experienced and had no past to pull from.

Care was what she felt from Amelia as she was laid onto the bed. Fiore felt weak as if someone had drained her of all her energy for the moment. Her body warm not fully understanding the reaction physically she was giving. Emotionally, she was worried that this may have ruined anything she had with Mira and that thought brought a sadness to her heart. She wanted to see Mira, but without knowing where the woman was she was lost. Sighing softly, Fiore forced a smile on her face - she had to be okay with everything mostly so that Amelia could relax.

Taking a deep breath, she forced herself to sit up and soon realized that the woman was exposed. This caused her to quickly turn her head to give the Commander some respect. Fiore kept her eyes away as she waited for Amelia.

“I will feel better soon, I’ll return to my post so you can rest as well Amelia.” [member="Amelia Sorenn-Syrush"]

Carefully she slipped away from the bed, sitting up as she looked down upon Fiore. When the young woman sat up and turned her head away, she let a soft smile cross her lips. She had confused the young woman, caused emotions to become a torrent within and she was still worried about allowing Amelia a semblance of privacy. She knew she should stop, at least for the sake of Fiore; the last thing she wanted was to force her into any situation and it was clear that she was uncomfortable to say the least. Taking a soft breath, she slowly spun around, moving towards the two doors that separated the master bedroom from the rest of the suite.

For a moment her golden hues fell upon that large couch, seeing herself sleeping upon it to allow Fiore her space. Something within her though took over as her arms reached out to the double doors. Slowly she pushed them closed, both hands resting upon either side of the small line between the two wooden doors. Her hands pressed against them for a moment as she leaned forward, her forehead resting against the back of her hands. What was she doing? The thought tore through her mind again.

"Kark it Amelia. Leave it alone!"

Her mind screamed at her, though something else told her to go for broke. It had been ages since she allowed herself to care for anyone to feel for anyone. Why couldn't she care for Fiore? Why couldn't she show her concern and feelings for the young woman even if they wouldn't be reciprocated? Even if anything she got back was manufactured and faked? When she heard her words, Amelia snapped herself back to the moment, her eyes opening slightly as she looked at the doors before her. A soft gasp as the air became stuck in her throat, the words wanting to escape before she finally took a deep breath.

"I don't want you to go back to your post..."

Amelia said, lowering her head slightly for a moment, her back still to the bed. Could she really go through with this, she thought to herself. Taking another breath, her words slipped across her lips once more. A soft murmur of words dancing upon the air.

"At least not tonight..."

Slowly she turned to face the young woman still on the bed. Amelia shown no need or desire to cover her figure, her ample bosom bare, the scars upon her figure showing fully. There were few that had seen those, and often she would cover those at the very least. In front of Fiore though she was barring all that she was to the young woman. Stepping forward, she closed the distance to the bed, slowly dropping to her knees in front of Fiore, her hands resting upon her knees.

Looking up at her now, her golden hues locking upon the young woman's stunning orbs. One hand slipped up, touching Fiore's cheek as Amelia kept her gaze locked upon hers. In seemed like forever would pass in those few moments before she mustered the courage to speak, to reveal her feelings.

"I want you to stay. Even if you do not share the same feelings for me that I do for you. I want you here tonight."

Amelia spoke, her voice shaky. Was it fear? Was she capable of such a thing? Her voice shook with each word that passed her lips. Anxiety, fear and all manner of emotions tore through her at once. She was putting herself out there completely, and she knew that perhaps Fiore couldn't return those feelings. If it were because of someone else in that young woman's life, Amelia could understand. Though at the same time her jealousy that someone got to Fiore before she did was overwhelming.

[member="Fiore de Noir"]

Fiore sat on the bed and kept her eyes averted from Amelia. What was happening wasn’t right especially since the woman was her superior officer, her boss and in so many ways her master. Fiore closed her eyes softly as she listened to Amelia. The woman wanted her to remain in the room and with her experience with [member="Mira Rekali"], that meant that things would lead to something she only shared with Mira. The thought made her heart race, panic mostly knowing that in this moment she wanted to be with Mira. The former Jedi stood from the bed and gathered what things she had with her. Nervous hands moved at her shirt as she felt the world collapsing on her – she was nervous and worried that once more she was going to ruin a relationship with a Master she was starting to care for.

“I...” Fiore paused, she still felt the burning touch of Amelia’s on her cheek. She raised her hand and touched the place that Amelia had touched. Physical contact was something she still wasn’t used to. Her Master never allowed it, not even when she was hurt and needed some sort of comfort. The only one she ever shared physical contact with was Mira. Her pause felt as if it lasted more than a life time and soon she finally spoke quietly. “Master. I will stay in your room with you, but I will do my job and guard you as you rest.”

A slight bow of respect came from Fiore to Amelia. She didn’t know what else to do about this and the woman didn’t know how to express that she promised herself to another. There was just blurting it out and she decided that it would probably be a good idea to do so. Awkwardly, Fiore rose from her slight bow. She inhaled deeply and ran a finger against her stray strands of hair, pushing them back behind her ear. A soft smile spread across her youthful face as she thought fondly of the Jedi she had met and shared moments with.

“There is someone that I have shared private physical moments with. She makes my chest tighten in a good way.” Thinking about the Jedi made her chest tighten and she felt her heart rapidly beat. Her cheeks quickly brightened, but it was doubtful in the evening light that Amelia could see the teenager’s blush. The smile slowly faded as she remembered that it had been some time since she had seen Mira, “I miss her. I have not seen her in some time now.” [member="Amelia Sorenn-Syrush"]

There it was. Without hearing a word at first, just from watching how the young woman rose from sitting upon the bed, her own heart sank. First she felt the fury of the simple fact that someone had gotten to Fiore before she had, though when she listened to her, she couldn't help but hold back a soft smirk. Closing her golden hues for a moment she let out a sigh as she sat up from the bed. Her upper half still bared to the young woman, though it would change soon. Without a word she slipped out of the bedroom and into the large walk in closet. Pulling off the rest of her garments, she took a moment to look through what was available and on hand at the moment.

Carefully she pulled on the skin tight bodysuit that often accompanied her armor. Smoothing it out, she found a couple pieces of clothing that would cover the more ample portions though ensure it didn't look like she was wearing a cat suit. Stepping back out into the bedroom, though covered now, she looked to Fiore. Again the feeling of jealousy arose though she remembered how she had just spoken of the woman she had found. Stepping forward, Amelia stood in front of Fiore, and for a moment she didn't know what she was going to do.

That must have been the longest moment between the two as her golden hues fell upon Fiore's own bright eyes. Amelia just starred into the teenager's eyes watching her before she let out a soft sigh. She saw everything, at least the important parts, that shimmer that was there for this unknown woman to her. Placing a hand upon Fiore's shoulder, she leaned forward and placed a light peck upon her cheek.

"I must look a damn fool."

Amelia whispered before she withdrew herself back to the bed, sitting upon it and crossing one leg over the other. She thought to herself of how foolish she must have looked, draping herself upon Fiore like some Zeltron whore. A heavy sigh escaped her lips, and for a time she thought there would be no turning back, no way to repair what damage was already done. Fiore had seen Amelia in her most open and vulnerable, how could she respect her as anything after that.

All she could now was damage control in a manner. Bringing her hands together to rest upon her knee, her golden hues fell upon the teen, watching her as she still held upon her shirt. She watched as her smile faded away before she said another word.

"This woman..."

Amelia took a moment to compose herself before continuing.

"This woman... Does she have a name?"

She asked, trying to appear as though she was concerned and in her own way she was. While there could never be an intimate relationship between the two it did not mean that there still couldn't be a relationship between them. If it meant giving Fiore something she was comfortable with, then Amelia would take on the role of Mistress or Master or whatever it was that Jedi called themselves to one another.

[member="Fiore de Noir"]

Fiore paid no mind to Amelia getting dressed. She was surprised to see the woman suddenly become coy about her attire. The young guard blinked as she watched and made note of the layout of the room. It was important if she was going to protect Amelia while she slept. Making note of the points, Fiore made eye contact with Amelia once more. Her eyes fluttered confused as to why Amelia felt as if she was a fool. Stepping forward, Fiore shook her head quickly and attempted to erase the thought of Amelia being a fool from the woman’s mind. “You’re the farthest thing from a fool. I am foolish for becoming ill and having to rest in your bed. You need to be resting you have important things you need to do for your house.”

The last thing Fiore wanted was for Amelia to realize that this was all the young guard’s fault. Without Mira right now, she had nothing but the job she had to do. A hand moved to her chest and the brunette clutched the fabric of her clothing. She didn’t want to hunt anymore, she wanted to remain as a close companion and protect Amelia from things she probably could protect herself from. Still, that gave the young woman a purpose and it was a purpose she would hold onto dearly.

Words shifted and Fiore tensed up slightly. Why was Amelia suddenly interested in knowing who Mira was? It concerned her and wondered if Mira’s name would reappear on her list. Hesitation lingered as Fiore moved her lips slightly, trying to find the words that wouldn’t cause Mira to fall under Amelia’s radar. Though, there seemed to be, from what Fiore gathered Amelia seemed concerned. “Her name…” The smile returned, “Her name is Mira.” Fiore purposefully avoided the last name, knowing that Mira Rekali had been on her hit list when they had met. Yet, in that meeting there was something that sparked between them. Fiore pushed the memory back – now wasn’t the time to reminisce on something that had happened some time ago.

“I-I met her on a mission. She’s beautiful.” Fiore tried to focus as she continued to stammer, “I haven’t seen her in so long…” A part of Fiore worried that something terrible had happened to Mira. They weren’t connected in the Force, so the assassin would have never felt the woman perish. Not having Mira be a part of this life time shook Fiore to her core. She needed to find her. Exhaling softly, Fiore closed her blue eyes and pondered. “I want to find her again. I hope I’m not being the foolish one…” Her voice softened as she finished her explanation of Mira Rekali, “I love her”. Finally understanding what love was, Fiore could truly state that she loved Mira Rekali more than anything.

“She’s not my current job right now though Ma’am. I’m here to protect you and do as you ask…so is there anything I can do for you Amelia?” [member="Amelia Sorenn-Syrush"]

A soft sigh escaped her lips as she closed her eyes, the woman listening to the teenage woman before her. Listening quietly, Amelia could hear the fear and worry in her voice when she spoke of this woman. A soft smile crossed her lips and a hint of her fangs were revealed before she opened her eyes. Those golden hues fell upon Fiore as Amelia nodded silently.

"I hear the fear in your voice when you speak of her. It is not the fear of one that you are afraid of, it is fear for losing the one you speak of."

Standing up from where she stood, Amelia closed the gap between the two of them, her hands coming up and resting on Fiore's shoulders. Looking into the young woman's eyes, she permitted a soft smile to cross her lips as she sighed once more.

"No. Being foolish is an old woman throwing herself at a teen girl. Wanting to find her is love and worry."

Slipping her hands off of her shoulders, Amelia stepped around her, moving towards the shades that had been pulled. She looked through them, seeing the feint hints of sunlight as it continued to slowly set over the city. Now there was something that Amelia needed to reveal to Fiore and she was hoping that it wouldn't change her own thoughts of Amelia.

Stepping to the side she slowly opened the shades for a moment, allowing only a small amount of sunlight into the room. Turning back towards Fiore, the woman slowly pulled her sleeve up to bare her forearm. Looking into her eyes she smiled softly.

"It is time you know."

Amelia spoke before placing her arm into the sunlight, a soft hiss escaping her lips as her arm began to burn and blister. After a few moments Amelia pulled her arm from the ray of sunlight. Slowly she stepped towards Fiore, showing the young woman her burned arm, though the burn was already slowly healing. Now was the time that Amelia would find out if Fiore thought she a monster or not.

Fiore nodded agreeing with Amelia. She feared losing Mira, she also feared Amelia finding out that Mira was a force user. Someone that was against them both and a sworn enemy. Sighing softly, she listened to the words Amelia spoke to her. They seemed odd to her, but she accepted them as wisdom. Fiore watched as the Commander moved about the room. She seemed to have some intent on doing something, then she spoke about finally finding out. This notion made Fiore question everything that had occurred. Was there more to this?

There was a crack in the window and just enough sunlight poured through. Fiore felt a glimpse of it against her lightly tanned skin. The sun felt amazing and oddly foreign. It had been some time, now that she recalled it, since she had been in the sunlight. She would have to remedy this as soon as their business here was through. Fiore quickly remembered her odd sanctuary on Kashyyyk and then remembered that it was there, that she first shared herself with another. Drowning in her memories, Fiore was caught slightly off guard. The smell of burning flesh instantly entered her nasal cavity and she became instantly alert.

“Commander!” The former Jedi turned Assassin moved to Amelia to examine the wound. It healed, but how? Fiore watched and then began to put everything together. There was more to Amelia than met the eye and Fiore was slowly learning all of this. Pausing she took her time to choose her words. “You’re not human, I understand…but you shouldn’t do that Commander. You shouldn’t put yourself in danger.” To Fiore Amelia was still her Commander and Keeper. Who or what she was didn’t matter. There was an unspoken oath of trust and Fiore trusted Amelia.

Remembering the offer, she had been given another time they had spoken, Fiore looked towards the face of the older woman. “Does this pertain to the gift you had offered me?” [member="Amelia Sorenn-Syrush"]

A soft smile crossed her lips as Fiore rushed to her side, watching the young woman look on in both horror and somewhat disbelief. Closing her eyes as she slowly rolled the sleeve back down, she slipped back to the couch before she sunk down upon it, leaning back slightly. Looking up at Fiore, a soft smirk crossed her lips to reveal the fangs that were hidden beneath. A soft sigh escaped her lips as she slowly crossed one leg over the other.

"You are correct, I am not human. I believe in common parlance I am called a Vampire."

Amelia said with a soft chuckle, thinking the word and term was such a beautiful simplicity of her species. Looking back towards the window she sighed again. Watching from her small dark corner as the sun slipped down over the horizon bit by bit. Closing her eyes for a moment, she slowly turned her attention back to the young woman before her. A soft nod was given as she locked her golden hues with the girl's own bluish-yellow orbs.

"It does."

She took a moment as she tried to find the words, though in the end it was better to just out right speak what was needed rather than beat around the bush.

"I have much to do on Alderaan. The Order itself shall be folded into my own guard of House Syrush. Thus I can better protect those that remain."

Amelia stood once more, moving towards Fiore, keeping her eyes locked upon the woman's.

"I want to you remain at my side and I offer you this gift. Though if you turn it down, I would know why you would."

Fiore didn’t look away. The thought of living for as long as the Vampire would live was something she would never want. She knew that one day judgement would come for her and she would have to eventually pay for the terrors she had committed. When that day came, she wouldn’t run from it, she would embrace it knowing that in her life Chaos reigned and that it would be fitting for in her afterlife she would have Chaos as well. A smile spread across her face, Fiore knew her fate and she accepted it.

“I cannot accept such gift. I don’t deserve it.” Eternal life was meant for those that had a purpose to fulfill and Fiore knew that her purpose was to murder Trask and to have her revenge. If her revenge took too long she would take comfort knowing that old age or someone else killed the monstrous Jedi. Once her revenge was over that was her purpose, beyond finding Mira and being with her that is. Fiore shrugged slightly and once more shook her head.

“I don’t want to live forever. Especially once Mira passes, I don’t want to continue with this life. She’s one of my reasons to continue.” Nodding her head softly, she showed her respect towards her commander. “Thank you for your offer, but I decline.” [member="Amelia Sorenn-Syrush"]

"DONT!"

The voice cried out in Amelia's mind the moment that the thought came to the forefront. A soft smile crossing her lips as she kept her hues upon Fiore. A soft sigh escaped her lips and still the voice within her mind tore through her again and again. It screamed out to stop her. Her hand shook for a moment before she regained her composure. Closing her eyes she took a deep breath before those golden hues opened slowly and fell upon Fiore.

"And what would you say if I offered it to Mira as well?"

What the kark was she thinking. Did she care for Fiore so much that she would want to offer such a boon to someone she didn't know just so Amelia could keep this one individual around. What the hell was going through her mind to even fathom such a offer. She had never met Mira, and for all she knew it was an individual that would want to kill her for her own commands given to Fiore.

"Perhaps though that is not an appropriate thought."

Amelia said as she turned from Fiore, moving back towards the curtains that covered the windows. Her eyes peered through the fabric, watching as the sun slipped out of sight over the horizon. Only a bit of the sun remained shinning, though dusk was quickly approaching. A soft smirk crossed her lips, her fang flashing for a moment.

"Would you want to live forever with the one that you loved?"

Fiore pondered the thought. She would be able to live with Mira for the rest of their lives and it would be for so long. Still, she never wanted to live that long. She still felt as if she would be running away from everything. Once more she shook her head. “As a Jedi, I learned life was precious even if life was utterly short. It allowed you to appreciate the little things that were given to you in life.” Fiore knew that hearing about the Jedi and reiterating that she was once in their ranks wouldn’t go over too well with Amelia.

Taking a step back, Fiore positioned herself near the door. With everything that had happened and the sudden revelation that she had someone waiting for her outside of this room. Fiore felt it was proper to return to a place where she would be guarding. Once more she bowed towards Amelia, “Again I thank you commander for your consideration, there is so much I have done in my life that I will have to face when it’s my time to rejoin the living force. I can’t run away from it forever and I look forward to the day in which I pass and can finally rest.”

It was an odd acceptance that most people her age didn’t understand. Fiore was still quite young even in Eldorai years, though seeing that she wasn’t full Eldorai – she really didn’t know her life expectancy. Either way, she would continue to dedicate her life to two things, her revenge and finding Mira. After the long bow, Fiore raised her sights to stare at Amelia. “Ma’am I suggest that you rest – it would be for the better.” [member="Amelia Sorenn-Syrush"]

Amelia merely nodded, still not understanding how she could so easily deny the gift though understanding how she felt. Permitting a soft sigh to escape her lips, she moved back to the bedroom. Stopping for a moment at its threshold, the words seemed to jumble in her mind. Her lips parted though nothing escaped as she took a moment and just stared at the bed. Stepping forward, she only turned back to slowly shut the sliding doors, just leaving it ajar enough for Fiore to still see into the room.

Slipping to the side, Amelia pulled off the body suit she had pulled back on, setting it aside with other pieces of clothing as she let out another soft sigh. There were things that would happen in the future and now her mind raced at the simple idea of not having Fiore by her side. The girl was so resigned to accept her eventual fate that even Amelia had to be amazed by how she didn't want more time.

Stepping into the refresher, she turned the water on, leaving it ice cold, though its not like it would matter to her. Her species wasn't known for their warm blood and oddly enough they got along just fine. Stepping under the cascading waterfall she placed her hands against the wall, leaning forward slightly. Once more a sigh escaped her lips and finally she spoke the words that she could not while being in the room with Fiore.

"What if I can't live without you in my future..."

Amelia whispered the words, too afraid that Fiore may hear them. A soft sob escaped and her hand slipped to her cheek, feeling the tear rolling down. It was odd, she hadn't cried in... in ages, at least not since she was forced to kill her own sister. Shaking her head, she let the water pour over her as she stood there, trying to push the thoughts of the day from her mind.

"Where do we go from here?"

She mused, her hands lightly dancing upon the tiled wall of the refresher as she closed her eyes and thought of the events that were to come. Where would Amelia and Fiore fit into the grand scheme? Where would their relationship end up?

Fiore was lost on what was going on in the refresher and Amelia. The young woman was sighing softly as she thought about what she had said to the woman when she denied the gift. Most would have jumped at the chance, but Fiore wondered what she would live for if Mira decided to stop having feelings for her and when she eventually killed Trask. The thought of not having either in her life made her wonder what she would do. Killing Force Users seemed mindless, if her revenge wasn’t’ there and to live forever with the emptiness she felt without having Mira, neither sounded pleasant. So, she was okay with dying at least then she’d be able to feel the Force once more.

Taking a listen, she heard nothing but the running water of the refresher. It meant she had some time to herself. She was tired, the day was ending and evening would soon come. Unlike Amelia, Fiore usually liked to sleep at night, but when Amelia stayed up all day and would probably do the same all evening – Fiore needed to remain awake. Her leave time would soon be coming up, she could return to Kashyyyk or someplace where a lead on Mira would be. There she would hopefully have had made enough credits for a place to sleep and some food. She did look forward to those times, she even looked forward to the times she returned to the underground network hubs she had grown fond of. It was nice to have something besides fighting and killing.

Deciding right now would be a nice time to relax, Fiore slumped against the wall and continued to sink till she was sitting down. Her legs crossed over and she reached into a small pouch that was tucked carefully under her leather chest guard. Inside the pouch was a well-worn stuffed Loth-Cat. Fiore smiled and felt the soft fabric against her fingertips. The little stuffed Loth-Cat was one of the few things the Temple Jedi allowed her to keep, this and a yellow blanket which she knew nothing of its location. A soft nuzzle of the loth-cat, her pointed tipped ears bent downward and she sighed happily. It was the little things that kept her grounded.

The stuffed cat would eventually find its way back into the pouch and carefully tucked away. Fiore leaned her head back against the wall and looked towards the ceiling. There was so much going on in just her life, she wondered how others felt about their lives. [member="Amelia Sorenn-Syrush"]
