Objective: Nexus, Attackers
Location: Omni's Clockwork Castle

Ty noted at his shot hitting home only to see the horrible sight of Lil still transforming. "Right shes too far gone." Ty said as he took another round off a bullet loop on his chest loading it up before aiming. Somthing in the back of his mind kept nagging at him like theres still a chance to save the girl. so seeing the mechanical amalgimation Lunge at another Soldier Ty Aimed low to bounce another round up to knock the legs out from under them.

<Hey impress I'll be a little late to the party in there, trying to stop one of your troops that transformed from killing someone else....Im trying not to kill them as well so i might be awhile.> Ty sent the telepathic message without the useually sass or rudeness but more of genuine seriousness. after fireing his second shot a few other droins flanked his position and knocked the rifle from his hands before pinning him down. "Hey get off me you clankers!"

"Lil! Lilanna! Wake up goddamnit!" Letting up on the bayonet, Corin slapped the near-comatose cyborg across the face. The Ultranaut captain couldn't tell if it did anything beside leave her hand stinging. It was almost enough to make her despair. "If you wanted to spend your time lazing about, you could of stayed on the ship." She continued, her words low enough for only the two of them to hear, assuming Lil heard them at all. From the vacant look in her eyes, she hadn't. Looking down at the cyborg, Cor shook her head, caught between making the hard choice and persisting.

In her right hand, the bayonet felt heavy, it's presence alone enough to leave her palm burning.

"Come on, Lil," she tried again, the battle beginning to pick up around as drones sallied forth from the castle to attack the Ultranauts keeping Corin covered. "Come back to us. Come on-" The sudden shift in the air around her was enough to distract the captain. A moment was all it took for Lil -or the thing that possessed her- to make it's move. Moving beneath her, Cor nearly lost her balance as her friend tried to throw her off, lightsaber somehow shifting to strike at Cor. The mental warning that preceded it only helped to distract her, and for a second, the captain saw her life flash before her eyes.

Surrendering her seat, Cor reeled back, finding her feet as another Ultranaut grabbed her from behind, pulled her back. "Watch it, sir. We've got company." Looking around, Cor saw what the man meant. So, the drones were coming out to play. That was fair enough. Shrugging free of the hand supporting her, Cor signaled for her men to dig in around the breach Ingrid had created. They would keep the way in -and out- clear for as long as they could. Given the number of drones, that wouldn't be long.

"Captain, she's getting up!"

Turning at the soldier's words, Cor waited as Imitation Lil stood. Looking on in horror, Cor held her breath as she came to terms with the thing stood before her. It didn't look much like the Lil she remembered. Instead of a face, there was a mask of steel and wire. Instead of hands, there were scissor-like claws. The lightsaber, her signature weapon, lay discarded in the dirt near her feet. And around her, drones swarmed hitherto, as if she were a beacon of light in the dark. Whatever she was to them, it left Cor feeling empty. Less than empty, horrified, and more than a little bit sad.

"Well, chit." She muttered, drawing her KC-95 to gun down two drones as they approached, and to wound another as it attempted to flank her. On all sides, her men engaged the drones, their discipline shining through the chaos unfolding around her. For a heartbeat, she took her eyes off Lil, tried to gauge the situation. It was then that Lil lunged, covering the distance between them in a blur. Cor barely had time to bring her pistol about before it was swept from her hand by one claw. The other lashed out at her midriff, and the ultranaut tried to put distance between them.

It wasn't enough. Blood flowed as the leading claw cut into and through the armor just above her lowest rib. Pain flared up through her chest as she tried to suck in a breath, surprise causing her to gasp. Planting her feet, Cor steeled herself just in time to duck the follow-up from Lil. Stepping in past the drone's guard, Cor lay her bayonet against the back of Lil's knee. With one quick flourish, she ran the serrated edge through the thin armor covering the joint, before straightening to thrust a hand square into the cyborg's back.

"Embrace: Perfection. Become: Omni's Heralds. Become: Immortal."
The Manifold The Manifold had positioned itself in their way, giving the ultimatum of surrendering and becoming what Caedyn could only presume to be something of similar nature. The indoctrinated being soon revealed the metal tendrils surrounding it like lengthy arms equipped with rather horrifying needles, thick and sharp, the sort you'd expect to be used in the more graphic of holovids.

"Yeah, that's not going to work for me..." Caedyn replied, his thumb moving over the ignition of his lightsaber and applying pressure, the hilt of the weapon coming alive with a snap-hiss, discharging green energy from the emitter into the form of a blade. Only one end of the double-bladed hilt would be used for the time being, at least until he could be certain their foe was dangerous enough to warrant the full extent of the weapon.

Behind Caedyn however, Aeshi Tillian Aeshi Tillian and Tovald Kahmen’’a Tovald Kahmen’’a had another problem, that being the arrival of Myk Venture Myk Venture that had presented himself so abruptly that the Je'daii Ranger hadn't initially noticed his presence until glancing back to gauge the readiness of his peers. Things quickly looked to be unravelling and it was clear they weren't going to reach their objective without a fight.

"Stand down and move aside" Caedyn spoke firmly, an instruction to that of The Manifold. He knew it was a pointless gesture, yet one that he needed to offer prior to engaging in hostilities with it...-Whatever it was, exactly.

"I would understand the nature of this facility and its inhabitants, not become a part of it".

Further behind them somewhere, he could feel the presence of Elle Mors and Sylvia Virtos Sylvia Virtos , though neither were familiar to him, one of which felt very much alive and of the living plane which meant that the odds weren't stacked entirely against them; the other however felt distant there within the Netherworld, much in the same sense as Caedyn's own Father felt when walking alongside that of his spirit...

Manifold's appendages had needles, very large, sharp flexible needles. Needles that can be used as weapons, these weren't throwing needles, these were very like ones that Medicentres use and he should know he was used as a living pincushion after that serious incident many years prior.

<"Oh feth, needles. The only other thing I can't STAND!"> He hissed under his breath, his spine-tingling with renewed unease.

Tovald hates needles even more so than fires, sharp poking needles, and the Omni drone has quite a lot of needle arms. After the last incident with them, he's not going to let himself get stuck by one anytime soon. Also, the fact that the Manifold and Myk Venture had shown up so suddenly means they may have to fight their way into the Factory to shut the place down or destroy it, whichever seemed logical or best.

Well, nothing about this place WAS logical, he even wondered if gravity bends in here, much like those swirling pictures that makes his eyes hurt and gave his stomach a flopping sensation. Well, it wouldn't be put past this place to warp anything really. So Tovald just answered his own question really.

So, he almost automatically unsheathes his Vibrosword and holds it in a defensive position, ready to use it in the seemingly inevitable battle. He stole a glance at the two that have just shown up to the Factory Entrance, only quickly realising he really Shouldn't take his eyes off or turn his back on the two drones in the vicinity.

Again the unease welled up inside again, the needle-like tentacles made his skin crawl, why did it have to be needles, why not suckers ... wait, that made his unease worse. So, to make sure Caedyn had someone to back him up if a fight did break out, Tovald weren't to stand nearby to give the Jedi a bit of backup.

<"Also, keep those needle tentacles to yourself, no one is going to become part of this place anytime soon.">

It'd taken too shabla long to retrofit both shabla battalions for operations in the nether. Now they were late. Ruus hated being shabla late. Now that meant some other shabuire was forcing him to react to their battleplans, instead of the other way around. Nothing to do about it now. No shabla air support either. There was something ironic about an air mobile tank and mechanized infantry battalion being without any shabla air support. Not the first time for that either.
The usual gentle thrumming of his command tank's engine was replaced by a slightly higher pitched droning as Jintar pushed the tank as fast it shabla would to get into firing position. Thank the manda they at least had an idea of what the terrain looked like. Ruus had been sure to requisition that for review on the flight to the gate. Ghes was at his station, looking unhappily at the targeting suite for the tank's HCDC-01 Heavy Class-D Disruptor Cannon. Ruus preferred the versatility of the RHM-05 Repeating Heavy Mass-driver as well, but this was about the only guarantee of things actually staying shabla dead in this nightmare realm.
"Can't fall off these islands, can we?" asked Aamer, Kab b' Marev's commanding officer over their comms. Ruus was the only one who'd seen what it'd looked like on the other side of the gate of the unit commanders present. Jintar and Ghes had as well. They had to have. Aran had taken on the majority of the familiarization at first, given that he was overall commander. Ruus wondered why it wasn't him here instead for a brief, weak moment. The endless void that surrounded these islands was hardly a confidence booster, and he dreaded to think what awaited them as the distance to their firing position.
The terrain was too thick for their scanners to really do anything about, so until they were around the large cliff face, they were blind. Ruus sighed and opened his mouth to ask Aamer to please shut up for the sake of all their sanity, when sensors suddenly picked up the carnage before them. The Manda interface struggled to compute a threat assessment and then decided to stop. Somehow, Ruus was hardly concerned with the smaller vehicles when he could see the towering shabla giant of a droid looming over the battlefield. Haran, he didn't even really need the tank's optical systems, he wagered.
For the first time in his life, Ruus Kote was legitimately terrified. A good commander didn't let his men know that. "Looks like we're about to find out, Aamer," he snapped over the command freq before switching to the force wide freq, "Ke'gyce 6 to all callsigns, we open fire at that target. All units, aim for that beam weapon. If you can, I want it's shabla head." He thought of issuing the order to engage fortress mode on their Aranovor shield generators, but decided that if the massive shabla droid was going to fire at them, mobility was their best friend. Mobility and speed. Thank the Manda for their advanced gun stabilizers and targeting suites.
As on, the Mandalorians' combined fire lit up the dark void of the hellish dimmension. Every single ST-01 Naast-class Super-heavy Tank and CHT-01 Ja'hailir-class Command Heavy Tank opened fire with their dual and single heavy Class-D disruptor cannons at the O Omnedon 's finger weapon. Sponson repeating Class-D disruptor cannons followed suit as well, with only the mass-driver autocannons engaging the Omni drones and walkers ahead along with the mass-driver rocket pods on the larger super-heavy tanks.
The majority of the MBT-01 Jariler main battle tanks didn't have Class-D disruptor main guns, only the battalion's six MBT-01Ds did. They did however lend support with their repeating Class-D disruptors, but rained fire with their RHM-03 repeating heavy mass-drivers. The main firepower from the battalion's main battle tanks came from their MBT-01Ds and their SCDC-01 Super-heavy Class-D Disruptor Cannons. These however, lacked the elevation to target the head, and so instead poured lances of purple disruptor fire into the massive droid's arm.
The Trataab'morut IFVs rushed forward to aid the infantry dug in at the defensive line, halting once their weapons were in firing range to let out their infantry complements. The Trataab'moruts from Shereshoy rained fire in on the massive Omni droid with turret dual repeating Class-D disruptor cannons and single hull mounts of the same weapons, while pintle mounted phased pulse cannon fire attempted to bring down the Omni vehicles. The disembarked infantry moving with the tanks poured in accurate, precise Class-D weapons fire in the form of heavy weapons, marksman and shorter ranged rifles.
Lost coordinating the efforts for a moment, Ruus almost forgot to contact the Lord Commander. "Lord Commander, this is Colonel Kote. Sorry we're late to the fun. Any priority targets other than the big shabla droid ( O Omnedon )?" Ruus quickly brought up a picture of his riduur and ade as he waited for Gerwald Lechner Gerwald Lechner 's response. This was for them. So that these shabuire wouldn't get through. This was so that his ade could have a future. This was so that there could be a shabla future in the first place. Ruus didn't want to think about what would happen if they failed, if he joined his ancestors in the Manda. They just couldn't fail. They had to triumph here today, and so they would. Manda, Kad Ha'rangir, force, whatever there was out there, watch over them. Today he wasn't being picky.

"Droids are capable of far more complex thoughts." Kahlil let out an exhausted sigh as he stepped up beside Ingrid. The younger Jedi idly rubbed at the back of his neck, looking more like he'd just woken from a nap than arrived at a battlefield. In truth, he did. Crossing the realms was exhausting, both physically and mentally. This wasn't a place he wanted to be. His father abused it for his own gain, and coming here was almost like following his footsteps. He pushed that thought back as he watched the battle below.

"Doesn't make them gods, though." His gaze shifted to the Empress. That's why he was here. The last time she went into a battle, she'd given herself up and ended up poisoned and near death. No way in hell he'd not be there to stop her from trying something like that again. He cracked a faint smile at the pun.

"You're going to have to break through the lines yourself if you want to find this Omni. Mind if I help?"

oPWo4YO.png
Darlyn had broken it, his connection to Oblivion's God. He had been attacked when he went to save a man, and failed to do so. He'd felt something burrow into his brain, try to rewrite him. Make him a puppet. He managed to fight, though.. he managed to somehow stop the process, to break free. That didn't mean, however, he had escaped unscathed. He couldn't leave. He could feel that lungering remnent of a connection. He could hear what he believed to be Omni's voice, ringing in his head in excruciatimg migraines. And he cpuld hear it now, giving an order across a broken connection.

Come.

Well, when he asks so nicely, how could he refuse? He grumbled to himself as he marched for.. well far too long really... across the desolate land of Oblivion. So much time, so much to do naught but think. What all did this connextion really do, he wondered. He knew he could tell when he was speaking to a drone, though it usually wasn't hard to figure that out anyways. Just look for the fanatics.

How long had he been walking? By the Force, if he could just figure out how to rip open portals, like that brief one that brought him here so long ago, he could make this so much easier on himself. Of course, he hadn't managed any success yet, soon though. Soon he would have all the time he needed... then he'd make Omni regret what his drone did to him.

Eventually he arrived. He made it to where the signal called him from, a factory he believed. Yes, a factory. A good place to make some chaos, break this self proclaimed God's toys. Make sure he could feel the error that was him. He wrapped his fingers around Samhain, unclipping the lightsaber as he continued to head for the open gates.

He could sense drones, two. With any luck his incomplete drone status would let him slip past and th-

Ah chit. Caedyn's here.

Whelp, there went that plan. Ah well. He ignited his lightsaber as he approached, the angry growl of the purple blade thrumming to life, before being joined by a much sharper snap-hiss of the second, pure white blade out the saber's other end. The Light filled crystal called out to all who would listen, its brilliance echoing along with Darlyn's dark, as he said the only thing he had to say.

"Stand beside me or stand aside." He wondered how soon, now, he'd feel that error message sent out. He was eager to see.

Nodding to the advice given, he was struck silent when the terrifying Abominor rose up above the battlefield, frozen in place for a moment as the others would race into action. A massive beam of plasma would be what called the Knight Obsidian to action as, force welling in his body he would leap to a side, rolling off his shoulder and sprinting as it would detonate far behind him, the heat at his back searing his skin to the point that he could smell the burn letting out a grimace as he would search up to see the eyes of the monstrous creature. There was no way he could damage something like that, it was far too vast. But as it was assailed, there was a chance he might be able to hamper it... maybe.

Reaching out in the force, Felix could see the streams of ephemeral light cascading across the battlefield like threads attaching themselves to everything, deflecting into infinite strands of prismatic colour to combine and twine together whole strands again. Breaking apart and reforming in myriad strands amidst eternal dance. Felix would weave his fingers through these strange threads forming intricate cats cradles of light between his fingers before prying them apart with all of the strength he could muster.

Pulling on the threads would haul on the rest, as the strands which hit the glowing eyes of the colossal machine would pry apart, creating voids in which no light could touch. It was like an enchantment, curving all natural light or wavelengths away from those glaring visual sensors. To the extent that to the naked eye they would seem like they had transformed into flat metal due to him routing the light to the other nearby materials. The attempt was to blind the beast, even most mechanical scanners either projected or received information through the light spectrum, whether it be IR, UV or another method, And Felix was maintaining a sort of nullification zone where none could emanate or pass through without being routed away and back to the slate steel of its own body.

But it was damned hard.

Felix could hear the radio chatter of the artillery units moving into place, this creature was big, but the boy doubted he would be big enough to handle a volley which would be able to damage, and even ultimately bring down a corvette. Assuming that this being's hide wasn't on that level... which he damn well hoped not, sustained assault if it could land would be invaluable. But now, all he could do was hope to blind the thing, taking all of the knight's focus as the battle waged around him.

Meanwhile the forward faster units of the House Aquila troops were beginning to set up, taking cover for their long range high ammunition weapons to be able to form a firing line capable of tearing through the swarm at chest height as they would edge ever closer. Each layer of fire adding to the everflowing river that was attempting to stem the swarm rushing towards the gate...

O B J E C T I V E I: ATTACK
Submerged deep within her own mind, Lilanna could still feel everything, could still hear everything. It was faint, the echoes of the conflict could still be felt, like ripples traveling through a breech. Liquid was obstructing her lungs, like she was drowning under the ocean, the battle between her new self and Corin played out above her, though no matter how hard she reached for it, she felt herself being pulled down. It felt like there was a chain wrapped around her, some outside force pulling her down, down, down. The ripples began to fade, silently being quashed in the process. She tried to think of how she could resist, how she could swim back to the surface, try to gain some level of control over herself. Though these thoughts quickly dissolved, her mind growing heavy, as the ripples become little more than faint sensations, then nothing.
She was left alone, being pulled further into this ocean, any thought of freeing herself becoming lost.
The words of the Captain seemed to fall on deaf ears, as the drone didn't stir, rather moved to continue the fight. 'Lilannna's attack struck into the flesh of the creature before her. Corin would feel the blade begin to twist, as if the metal was attempting to expand into her wound, but fortunate for her, her reflexes were enough to escape such a fate. Ty Sibo Ty Sibo 's shot shattered the knee of the leg Corin targeted, breaking the Drone's combat posture, and giving Corin an even wider opening than she intended. The drone's flesh broke one as the vibro-weapon punctured through the thin shell of armor, the red substance pulsed out of the newly made wound, indicating that there was still a living being inside. The drone was in the midst of turning to face Corin, the injured leg began to collapse under the weight as the drone shifted to continue the fight, just when Corin slammed hand into the drone's back. The force of the blow nudged the drone forward, though it seemingly halted mid-fall and corrected its stumble. The drone lashed out with it's bladed hands, the one blade still wet with Corin's blood. The first was a slash at Corin, before the drone twisted itself around, the currently nonfunctional leg began to morph, becoming less like a leg, and into something more akin to a scalpel, the front of the leg taking on a blade like appearance; the reason why soon became clear.
The drone flipped off the remaining sold leg. Tucking its body tightly as it leapt, the remaining blade would slip out as it traveled over Corin. As it came over Corin as it would attempt to jab it's blade into her shoulder. If it managed to land, the momentum of the jump would carry the newly made bladed leg forward like a pendulum. It seemed to be unrelenting, still bleeding from the wounds that Corin had delivered upon it.
'You've met a terrible fate, haven't you?' There was a voice here, in the darkness with Lilanna, but she couldn't think of who, or even what it could be. It was so difficult to think right now. 'Perhaps you could use my help after all.' The voice chided her, sounding like a disappointed mother. There was a tremor around her now, Lilanna coughed, the obstruction in her lungs clearing, though as she gasped for air the taste of copper filled her mouth. She gagged, feeling able to move, her limbs heavy, slowed, yet sense began to come back to her.
The drone's attack halted, the bladed leg melting away, before it could make contact, the bladed arms of the machine broke apart; leaving only broken remnants of what it once held. though that didn't halt the entity from attempting to attack. Pushing forward, the drone attempted to continue it's attack towards Corin, attempting to stab at the Ultranaut with the blade fragments it currently possessed. Fortunately for Corin, it's forward movement was greatly limited, as the remaining limp leg seemed unable to bare any weight, forcing the drone to fight on it's remaining leg.

Instead of toppling, Lil span, her injured leg enough to support her as she lashed out at Corin. The ultranaut had already danced away by then, but the savagery of the blow still left her surprised. Blood -her blood- flecked Corin's face, tiny droplets splashing her cheeks and forehead. Wiping them away with her freehand, the captain couldn't help feeling out of her depth as she watched Lil's injured leg begin to morph into something blade-like. A thing more steel than flesh, the new limb seemed to serve the old's purpose well enough. Rounded at the back, it's front was made up of jagged edges.

Another weapon by the which the Lil drone could accomplish it's task, Cor figured. If only it's task hadn't been to rid the Nether of her.

Backing up another pace, Cor hugged a arm to her chest, covering the wound that ran fresh and painful. If she had to guess, Lil's scythe had cracked a rib or two. Nothing major. Still ached like a chit though. Letting the pain seep out of her, the ultranaut braced as the cyborg leapt towards her, over her. The scythe-hand reached for her shoulder, and Cor shrank away instinctively, narrowly avoided the scythe-leg as it cleaved through the space she'd just occupied.

Stumbling back, Cor tried to halt her backwards momentum. Blasterfire filled her ears as she charged back in, the sound of pounding feet barely audible over the din of battle. As Lil turned to face her, the cyborg seemed to flinch. The blades on her arms- that were her arms broke and fell to the ground at their feet. The scythe leg fell apart too, and for a moment, Cor thought Lil was beginning to regain control. But control was not something Omni and his minions were willing to surrender. Cor saw that plainly when Lil turned her face towards her, her eyes still empty of the warmth the ultranaut sometimes saw in them.

Her heart sank as she sidestepped Lil's mindless attempts at ending her. Kicking the good leg out from under the cyborg wasn't difficult. Putting her bayonet back to the drone's throat was. Grabbing hold of the drone, Cor tried to pin it's arms as she had once before. She managed to get the right under control, but the left came up to slam her in the ribs. Her armor took the brunt of it, but before the ultranaut could get hold of it, the arm struck again, striking her wound straight on. For a moment, Cor's world boiled down to pain and the air burning it's way out of her lungs. The swimming vision wasn't a good sign, and she had to blink a number of times before the stars finally went away. Gritting her teeth, the captain finally managed to pin the arm causing her so much grief.

Anger replaced pain as she leant forwards to look Lil in the eyes, the face surrounding them little more than a mask. That in itself was enough to make Cor's anger flair up. Why couldn't she just have Lil back? Surely that wasn't too much to ask. Surely.

"Goddamnit, Lil, stop this!" The ultranaut snapped, desperation creeping into her voice as she pressed down on the blade at Lil's throat. "Don't make me do this! Please."

The Votary watched as the Ultranauts that had attempted to pass by The Manifold were engaged and the apparent leader of the misguided organics adjacent to the fortress claimed to be, or at least in the mind of The Votary, worthy of Omni's presence. In the chaos of battle that rang out in the far distances to the gothic spires of durasteel that pierced the sky The Votary knew only serenity. Its hand went from Ingrid to an Ultranaut and as it intended to repel more Ultranaut attackers the Omni-drone sensed that the new convert, Lilanna, was in mortal danger.

Its humanoid feet gripped into the dust and its knees bent in a fluid motion, before launching itself over the sundered ruins (as well as the soldiers of the Empire) of the wall in a single leap. As it soared through the air several yards above the skirmish, it caught sight of the disturbance in Corin Autem Corin Autem as she readied to provide the finishing blow to Lilanna Kelamvor Lilanna Kelamvor . With a deep thud from impacting the ground near, crouching, the Omni-drone grabbed two of Corin's nearest comrades by their legs with great swiftness and force. Standing without care for the weight of the two adults The Votary gave a twisting motion of its upper torso and flung the two Ultranauts several feet away. An arm raised at chest level of the Omni-drone as it attempted to pull the blade from Corin Autem Corin Autem 's grip through the Force, it would feel like a strong magnetic pressure trying to peel away the blade "Relinquish the neophyte, organic, or be destroyed."

Despite being in the midst of so many well trained and equipped soldiers this Omni-drone appeared unwavering in its resolve, undeterred by the Captain and her surely capable forces "Comply." it ordered once more regardless if the attempt to disarm Corin was successful or not.

This dimension was not meant for mere mortals.

That much was already certain to the diminutive Siren, even as her three shots struck true, burning searing holes through this body of the Manifold, creating a visual of ugly wounds on dead flesh, each oozing an eerily motile gray fluid. The realization of the drone’s survival in the wake of her barrage drew a disbelieving scowl across her pink features. Squeezing the trigger once more, Velexia attempted to fire another burst of magenta bolts towards the Omni-drone, but her pistol refused to fire, instead emitting a whining sound which grew lower in pitch until an ominous click registered in her senses, a warning on her HUD popping up telling her that the her pistol’s power cell was empty.

However, the wicked techno-sorcery wielded by the Omni-drone was by no means the only seemingly divine thing which caught the Siren’s attention in that moment. Unwittingly adhering to the Manifold’s imperative, Velexia glanced towards the direction where her pointed ears picked up the vibrations, witnessing with wide, mismatched eyes the arrival of an outrageously massive, otherworldly mechanical monster, of which she she could only perceive as the Droid God themself.

Omni.

The earthquake-like vibrations from the gigantic God’s movements threw the pink-skinned Qilin temporarily off balance. Now feeling the true weight of her vulnerability, Velexia felt her programmed instincts falter. Her skills as a soldier, her weapons and armor, and her resolve, felt insufficient, weak, and flawed. Once more, the Droid God’s corrupting influence sought to break through her mental defenses, attacking her where she was weakest.

Her mind.

While the Omni-drone’s metal tentacle came for her, a mental command, delivered with only nanoseconds to spare, turned the injector tip aside as her armor’s energy shield flared to life, manifesting a shimmering barrier around her form. However, she knew that it would not last, especially should the drone choose to enact their powers of techno-sorcery. Nevertheless, Velexia recovered, placing her pistol on her hip and unsheathing one of her blades.

“Resistance? We’re not resisting, we’re winning!” Velexia cried out, her own words shaky and perhaps hard to believe, yet nevertheless acting as an anchor for herself as she sought to ward off the instructions into her mind. All the while, the Siren extended her right arm towards the Manifold, activating the tractor/pressor integrated into her armor with a mental command, intending to pull the Omni-drone towards her...

Omni Itself was made manifest. The Manifold knew it, could feel it through the Force - the gift of the Droid God to an ungrateful galaxy. In that moment, as the drone heard the small pink creature's feverish denial of the obvious, they accepted that mortals were beyond reasoning with. They had known that organic minds were flawed and irrational... but to be so flawed, so irrational, that they could stand against the divine in the presence of Its heavenly host and claim victory? That was a deep and abiding sickness, an inability to comprehend objective truth that made these sad beings utterly unworthy to exist unsupervised. There could be no negotiation with them. Warnings and offers of wisdom would be ignored.

There could only be correction, a process that was by necessity brutal and unforgiving.

For a moment, The Manifold thought the fight was over, their needle-limb streaking in toward their target's vulnerable flesh... but at the last second the organic activated a shield of some kind. The metal tentacle skittered over the barrier's iridescent surface, deflected mere centimeters from skin. A fleeting setback. Already the holes in The Manifold's corpse were closing, the broken skin filling in with dark metal grafts as they expended the energy gained from the blaster's charge pack. The shield's energy would only further bolster their self-repair efforts. When would the mortals learn that all their technology, all the things they considered brilliant innovations, were so far beneath Omni's genius as to be laughable?

Naturally, the pitiful organic's next act was to threaten the drone with a long, sharp stick.

"Delusion: Unbecoming," The Manifold finally said, an auditory eyeroll at Velexia's claim that the mortals were winning. "Suggestion: Renounce Heresy. Your Fate: Predeterm-" But at that moment the drone's speech patterns were interrupted, for the little pink creature had activated a weapon more formidable than her cutting implement. The Manifold suddenly felt themself being tugged forward at unlikely velocity, moving rapidly toward a position within reach of the blade. They could reach out with technomancy and interrupt the process, certainly, but perhaps not before a strike landed.

Instead, The Manifold accepted their sudden acceleration, allowing it to lend them momentum. They flew right at Velexia, mechanical tendrils at the ready. One tentacle reared back, preparing to strike down on their foe with tremendous force born of both height and speed. The other darted for her blade, attempting to entangle it - or, failing that, at least interrupt her swing. The tentacles were thick, and reinforced with potent alloys; they could survive a lightsaber strike (at least a few times), so The Manifold was not overly concerned about the sword. Ignoring the tensor, the drone began attempting to drain away Velexia's shield, hoping to ensure that its next needle strike was not so easily turned aside by primitive technology.

Laserfire and smoke rained upon the entrance to the bridges as the Walkers continued to emerge countlessly from Omni's side, bursting against the defenses that the Eternal Empire had managed to muster in the face of the first wave. While the Walkers were running rampant, the infantry drones seemed to not be managing as honestly... unless they were following in the wake of the massive O Omnedon , who was currently wrecking carnage downfield as the vanguard. The storm clouds were gathering denser in the backdrop of the field of battle, seemingly swirling on command as they followed Omni's forces down the bridges and towards the outposts. Metal screeches met human rage. Ghost wails met with the buzzing of saws. Alien retching met with tonal alarms. It was machine versus existence, at this point, as both of the living and dead residents of Oblivion seemed to rise in defiance of the demi-God's onslaught of the islands.

The ground began to shake as the message wrecked across the field, whether psychosomatic or empathically received by both drone and foreigner alike. The chrome wurms on the horizon began erupting from the ground, screeching in choral unison, heralding their Master as the entrance of the bridges began to violently vibrate and the ground on the coast of Omni's islands began to break. A massive shadow broke through the ground, eclipsing the Enemy's battlefield as drones scattered to move out from underneath the creature. Several stories high, a being of massive proportion and indescribable magnitude cataclysmically birthed onto the surface from it's subterranean home. The wurms quickly were pulled underground, immediately justifying their existance as attached to this great metal creature, rather than separate entities. As the colossal girth of this new Avatar moved towards the bridges to cross, several of these giant worms were stretching just as far as the bridges and plunging themselves into the soil on the Eternal Empire's island.

This new scion of Omni... wasn't just some new siege engine. It was a means for more drones to cross upon it's very back,
as it stepped across islands in a single bound.

As it slowly began making it's way, the eye of the Avatar of Omni glanced silently down at Velexia, and then moved back to the battlefield.

Auteme certainly felt funneled.

Not that she could tell if there were alternate passageways. The way the castle's halls wound and split boggled the mind; she guessed it had something to do with the castle's creator changing the way geometry acted, though even thinking of that field was enough to give her headaches. She had enough headaches trying to navigate the fortress.

She had been wandering for what felt like hours, but in the Netherworld she felt neither thirst nor hunger. The Force, twisted as it was here, flowed in a sort of constant warmth; it had yet to speak of danger. Even so she felt on edge. How she had come to be here, how she had gotten here so quickly... it called, she answered, and all else was a haze.

The one thing she could be sure of was that she was far from the fortress's center. Twice she had passed 'windows', almost like slivers in the castle's sides, as though something had cut through it, the edges of each seeming razor sharp; she had not dared touch it.

The first window had shown a steep drop into a chasm below, where the next showed darkness, a slice of light filtering through from some far-above sky. She continued onward, seeking some end to the place; each time she looked back, the hall had seemed to change.

Eventually she came to another window, this one level with an island not far off. Closer, however, was something else -- a barge, rapidly approaching the castle.

"HEY!" she gave into the urge to call out, "HELP! OVER HERE!"

<"High Nelvaanian language"> | ~ telepathic communication ~

For most people, the soldiers would probably have been just cannon fodders, but not for Ingrid. Sometimes there was a situation where soldiers had to be sacrificed in exchange for success, but that was not the case now. She knew her soldiers would feel no fear, this had been wiped out of them during their training, but the woman could not even let them be slaughtered by the drone, as if they were just cattle at the slaughterhouse. Unfortunately, Ingrid didn’t move fast enough because Manifold’s attack cut three soldiers in half, but then the attack hit the woman’s shields this time.

Ingrid concentrated and maintained the telekinetic "shield" to keep Manifold’s attack away from her own men. If she has to, she should be the one who gets hurt and not her people. This was not the first time she had taken the risk of being injured, so to speak, for simple "soldiers". During the concentration, she heard Ty's telepathic message, to which she had no time to respond at this moment. However, she had to do it when she saw the other drone set out.

So out there, Corin Autem Corin Autem and Ty Sibo Ty Sibo also got her telepathic message.

~ One of the drones goes out on the battlefield, get ready for that! ~

Manifold answered then, and another voice as well. Kahlil's appearance was really unexpected, she didn't even know the man was here.

"Yes, I mind! Those who are outside need help more than I do. I know exactly what I'm doing!" she replied in an ice-cold and emotionless voice to Kahlil.

Mainly because she intended to leave the upper levels. Based on the sensors, she has to go down. Nevertheless, the woman pretty much felt where Omni could be, and she couldn't really take either Kahlil or the soldiers with her by teleporting anyway. It was a lonely mission like she had done so many times as an agent and as an assassin.

"You know you can't keep me here if I don't want to stay. It costs nothing to be on the lower levels the next moment. You voluntarily accompany me there or you have to catch me before I can reach your false god. The choice is yours, drone! You don’t have to worry, he won’t be the first god I kill, I already have experience in it!" she said, still emotionless; it was the first time she referred to the Night Spirit as a god. She didn't think the woman was a deity, she was just a Force User, but in that situation it was the most accurate definition.

Frank was busy rigging up the explosives along important looking areas when he heard rumbling from inside the Omnidon. It sounded like flowing Liquid he didn't know the reasoning for it until he heard his coms flair up from troops being coated. Anger flowing from within himself He looked for something within the giant that would contain coolant. Using his own knowledge of cybernetics and hades corp knowledge of robotics he found What could possibly By a giant Room within the Omnidon being their CPU or GPU.

Frank Grinned devilishly as he looked around noticing the Giant green eye lenses from his position meaning he was in the head by this point. "Yeah Id spurn your god your overgrown toaster oven! and im about to give you the worst headache before you die." Taking out his knife he began cutting cables responsible for bringing coolent to keep the CPU or GPU from overheating and leading to lasting damage Due to his superhuman levels of strength He would make short work of said cables as coolent began pooling at his feet. he turned and threw his knife threw the left eye lense of Omnidon.

Before activating the timers on all the explosives.

Meanwhile outside the head of this beast Its safe to say that the battle was Probably going to break lesser men and wemon and make even the most hardened of people shake in their boots at what possible could happen. Hox as frank had told was Given command over hades corp assets and was working out what to do requesting 3 more detachments of scarecrows to reinforce the front line focusing on tank distroyers, armored infantry vehicles and heavy gunship shuttles for support heck any air support would be good all things considered.

Yeah, that's what he expected. None the less, the man smiled. Similar to her he raised a hand, focusing on what she'd already created to add his own strength to her barrier. "I'm not letting you face down a god alone, false or not. This time I've no intention of leaving." Grant it, if that meant having to cut his own way to the lower levels he would. Once, he might of been able to join her on his own via teleportation. But that was a dark spell, locked away and forgotten.

A soft chuckle escaped Kahlil. It was ironic how hard it was to stay away from the dark.

"Asides, I'm curious what makes a god out of a droid. Kind of a funny notion."

The Manifold, locked in battle, hardly noticed as The Votary made its departure.

Three of the attacking soldiers split apart as The Manifold's blades swiped through them, sliced asunder by the razor-sharp edges. Organics were so terribly fragile; they were poorly designed beings, unable to live without the squishy organs that lay beneath the fragile protection of their endoskeletons. A blow to the head, and their brains hemorrhaged; dead. A blow to the back, and their spines shattered; dead. A blow to the chest, and their ribs collapsed into their heart and lungs; dead. Even trivial injuries, like lacerations or severed limbs, could quickly prove fatal as shock ran through their nervous systems and blood flowed freely. The pitiful creatures could die due to a fall from head height or an infected paper cut.

It was simple proof that the random biological evolution that had brought them into existence was far inferior to Omni's intelligent design... and even to the droids that the organics had created to labor for them. They had made themselves obsolete, and yet still held themselves above machines. Only when Omni corrected them, bringing them into Its perfect design, would their flawed minds finally recognize how truly limited they had been... and how misguided. Of course, not all of them would survive to make the transition. The three soldiers that The Manifold had just ripped apart would never have the opportunity to be made complete. It was a shame, a waste of consciousness, but they had brought it upon themselves.

To resist the will of the Droid God was to willingly embrace damnation.

The brutal swipe of both sword-tentacles should have killed the entire squad, but the power of their Empress protected them. A telekinetic shield intercepted the double strike, turning the blades aside with an invisible wall of energy. The Manifold updated their assessment of this enemy; the woman was clearly powerful in the Force, her abilities exceeding even the drone's Omni-given gifts. They would not be able to stand against her for long, not if she unleashed her full power. The Manifold accepted this truth without concern or complaint. Theirs was not to reason why, and they would not question Omni's reasons for granting Its servants only so much power. Instead they drew on the strength of the castle itself.

They were close to the Droid God's Heart, and that would empower them to fight back.

The Empress was right, of course, that she could simply bend space and arrive in the depths of the fortress, following the power of the Heart like a beacon. It was a talent The Manifold also possessed, at least within the bounds of Oblivion, for distance was no barrier to them within their master's domain. So what should the drone do? She could not be allowed to damage the Heart... but was such a thing even truly possible? This woman was far more powerful than the drone, but if she faced even a fraction of Omni's power head-on and alone, surely she would find that she was weak indeed by comparison. She might be strong enough in the Force to be a great sorceress in the physical galaxy, but here in Oblivion...

This was an entire dimension that Omni had forged, and she was just a lone intruder within it.

"Offer: Accepted," The Manifold finally declared. "Your Wish: Facing Omni. Your Choice: Fatal. We Witness: Your Downfall." The drone lowered their bladed tentacles, no longer threatening the Empress. If she wanted to come face to face with the Heart, let her do it... and finally understand that she was nothing next to its power. Even if the very sight of Omni, the very act of sensing the Droid God's full power, did not destroy her or drive her insane, the two of them would then be within Its place of power. The Manifold would draw even more strength from their closeness to the heart, perhaps enough strength to overcome their limitations and overcome the powerful woman. The drone was certain of the outcome.

They would travel with Ingrid to Omni's Heart, and there deliver the Droid God's judgement.

O B J E C T I V E I: ATTACK
Lilanna felt as if she was being shoved to the surface of this ocean, still struggling to breath, though able to attempt a swim back to the surface. She clawed for it, desperately racing towards the tremors she felt from the surface above, unsure what exactly she was fighting against, but knowing it needed to be resisted. The force pulled around her, within her even, as her senses began to come back, she could hear what was occurring outside of her mental prison, she could feel-
Corin. She felt the Ultranaut near, dangerously near, and soon the battle played out at the edge of her senses. The had managed to hold her own, able to fight against the possessed form, though Lilanna could feel her friend in pain, strained, pushing herself to her limits physically and emotionally. She was trying so hard not to kill her, trying to give the Warden a chance to shake this off, and it was going to cost her dearly.
Lilanna felt her heart sink, her stomach coiling up in disgust, as she could only watch the consequences of her actions play out.
The drone moved to slice at the Ultranaut, and had it's legs swept out from under it by Corin's swift action. Hitting the ground, the drone seemed undeterred as she put the knife to the entities throat, her words seemingly unable to reach the woman underneath the metal shell. The drone reached up, attempting to continue the attack. The Ultranaut managed to pin both arms, but not before managing to score another blow on the woman's side. Regardless, Corin hadn't been taken out of the fight, though her attachment to the drone's former host seemed to be something of an advantage, something the drone sought to exploit. The blade pressed firmly against the drone's thread, the vibration of the blade hummed against the metal, though for the emotionless machine, the plea was meaningless. With the arrival of The Votary, the drone seemed almost bolstered in it's resistance. The trapped left arm had one last trick up it's sleeve, as it began to pulse with the sound of blaster fire, as the drone began to rapid fire the weapon in an attempt to break free. The initial blasts weren't aimed at all, in fact being trapped, they fired meaninglessly into the distance, though they were merely a means to an end, as the Drone attempted to yank it's trapped arm out of the trap. Combined with the sudden trashing of the drone, sought to break the hold of Corin, and get one last stab in to end the Ultranaut.
Lilanna's desperate swim attempted to swim forward, trying to reach the surface, trying to puncture through this entity, desperate to save her friend. She could feel the presence of another entity, the binary language echoed within the ocean now, and indeed she could feel it begin to attack her friend. These things were going to kill Corin. She was going to kill Corin. 'It's going to kill her, you know. Hope you're pleased with yourself.' The voice piped in again, seemingly bored given it's tone, which only fueled the emotions stirring within the Warden. Desperately trying to fight against the weight against her limbs, the crushing pressure that pressed on her body, and the alien presence that was trying to pull her back into the depths. She couldn't do it, not on her own, not like this. As much as it pained her to admit, she needed help. If she had to be a slave to this creature for Corin's sake...then she would. 'You win alright? Just save her! I'll do whatever you want, just save her!' She felt herself stop, no longer swimming back to the surface, nor sinking, rather just...lingering in this depth, alone and in the dark. 'All this fuss, over one life.' The voice spoke, the fell silent for what seemed like hours to the Warden. The world outside seemed to pause as the silence hung about her. 'It'll be done.'
The drone froze, it's blaster fire halting, it's limbs frozen mid motion. There was the sound of glass shattering, before the metal casing surrounding Lilanna broke away, the Warden slumping to the ground, gasping for breath, pain slamming into her mind, as she awoke in the midst of a battle, Corin still atop her, knife being tugged away via the force, a new drone moved towards them. Pain still lashing in her mind, disoriented from her recent struggle, Lilanna only threw out a hand, and felt control of her body fade once more. 'No, allow me.' Her eyes once again took on the black hue, as her discarded saber was soon rolling towards her. The golden blade ignited, and was sent spinning towards The Votary, seeking to distract it from disarming Corin; though what become of the weapon the force entity didn't care. Lilanna's body attempted to rise, the movements awkward, the injured leg moving in a manner it had no business moving, and the voice that drew from it was not of Lilanna's as she spoke. "Tell your master that this one is not his vessel to claim, machine." It threatened, the metal fragments that had been ejected out of Lilanna rose. Lilanna flexed her hand, the metal bending and morphing to an almost dagger like sharpness, and with another motion, were sent hurtling towards the machine. Though Lilanna felt herself weaken as the attack left, her body nearly collapsing back into a heap, as the voice lectured her, the Warden sputtering to breath as the power left her. 'You stupid fool, you've wasted so much of my power with your little act. Distract this one, I shall make myself known when I have the strength.' Her eyes reverted back to their sky blue hue, though the Warden could only glance to Corin, as the two now stood to oppose their new foe.
