"This is my duty and my task. Netherworld is my home, and Bakura, the entire Eternal Empire is my responsibility, not yours. Last but not least, from the two of us I'm the assassin!" it was a good feeling to say that she finally had to refer to herself as a non-ruler, just an assassin, as she used to before she met Tacitus and that meeting changed her whole life.

Although Kahlil also helped with the defence, it didn't seem necessary. Something has changed. Manifold did not attack further, however the woman still focused on the shield.

"He is not the first, the people of Zakuul also worshipped as gods the droids of Iokath, which were superweapons but considered themselves as gods. I suspect the situation may be similar here." she explained.

Yes, she was already wondering if that was really the case. She knew the machines and their thinking well, thanks to MANIAC MANIAC , so she waited for the others to consider the possibilities. She did not attack, hoping that Manifold would come to the most logical conclusion possible and accept what the woman had told him. And the drone finally agreed to take her there; this can save you a lot of time from not having to look for a way, they will go there right away. The end result may not be what the drone believes, but it will turn out, in any case, the woman was not afraid, not worried. Adrian's hallucination, on the other hand yes, though the Sith Lord was curious as well.

"You made the right decision, drone! The end result... we'll see." she said still in an ice-cold voice.

Ingrid lowered the shield, and also her hands, put the two swords back in the sword sheaths that were on her back, indicating to the drone that she would not attack in this way. As a matter of fact, she didn’t plan it in any other ways either. If Manifold starts to go, she will join him, hoping Kahlil will turn around because she doesn't want a person who hinders her, nor does she want to kill the man if he hinders her, and if he pulls her back, the woman will do. She was present today as an assassin, not as a soldier.

"Until we get there, tell me about Omni." she told Manifold.

"We both know you're far more than just an assassin." So that's how it was? The man frowned, rubbing at the back of his neck as he watched this Manifold person and the Empress decide to actually go to the core together. An odd turn of events, to say the least. "Omni threatens all life and the balance. If you think you can selfishly go after him alone, you'd be mistaken."

So yeah, he'd follow. There was too much at stake for one person's pride.

For all she tried, Lil didn't seem to react to her desperate attempts at coercion. Letting up on the blade, Cor took a breath to stifle the emotions that seemed to rise up within her, nearly overwhelming the wounded Ultranaut. So, that's how it's going to be, she thought, taking one last look at her friend as the Empress's voice came over the secure channel. "Understood, My Lord. We'll be ready." Taking another breath, Cor let her training take over. There was nothing more she could do for Lil. The cyborg was lost to her now, and no amount of searching would see her recovered. It was better if she tended to the men still on her side, still fighting at this very moment against an enemy as relentless as the grief that would no doubt follow what she was about to do.

Raising the bayonet, Cor steeled herself as she prepared to bring it down, and so release Lil from the prison she found herself in. Beneath her, the drone writhed and attempted to fight back as it always did. As it always would do.

She didn't hear The Votary as it landed behind her two closest comrades, but she sure heard their alarm as they were both picked up and thrown away into the mass of drones that surged and seethed against the overlapping cones of blasterfire provided by her men. One man disappeared beneath the surface of that ever-rising tide, but the other, a sergeant, managed to stay afloat long enough for Corin to relinquish her hold on Lil and turn to address the more important issue of saving a brother-in-arms. Pulling her rifle up, she fired off a quick succession of bolts one-handed. Aiming low, they took the drones center mass, disabling some, whilst leaving others injured enough for the sergeant to begin fighting back with the support of his brothers.

Not her's though.

Twisting about to address the new threat, Cor felt an unseen Force begin to pull at the bayonet in her hand. For a second her grip on the blade slipped, but then her power gloves kicked in, giving her the much needed strength to retain her weapon. Staring at her new enemy, the Captain's eyes slitted as the drone issued it's commands. "Like Hell I will." She replied under her breath, sudden realization giving hope to her thoughts. The Votary's intervention could only mean one thing or so she believed.

Her belief was reaffirmed as Lil -the real Lil- sent her lightsaber spinning in a golden arc towards the drone. Making the most of the opportunity, Cor slammed her bayonet back into it's sheathe before securing it in place. She had already lost her pistol. The battalion armorer would be mad if she lost her blade too. Gripping her rifle properly, she stood as Lil did. The cyborg stumbled and Cor slid an arm around her for support, tottering for a moment under the additional weight before finding her balance.

Standing straight, the captain watched Lil out of the corner of her eye, accepting the turn of events wholeheartedly.

"Welcome back to the land of the living." The ultranaut joked, relief and annoyance seeping into her voice as she eyed the drone across from them warily.

The Votary looked down to Lilanna as the former Omni-drone reverted back to her previous state. It was truly unfortunate that one would shun the influence and gifts of Omni for something as fleeting as friends. The Omni-drone looked then to Corin as she attempted to save one of her fellow soldiers "You can be forg-" The Votary's statement was cut short as the lightsaber and scrap dagger were flung at him. The lightsaber arced and then hit the carapace of the Omni-drone causing it to making a jerking motion from the impact, a loud squelching noise was heard as the lightsaber connected. Yellow light filled the area as the lightsaber wildly careened away and skirted along the ground. The scrap dagger however skated off the torso of the Omni-drone with little more than a clang of metal on metal.

As the drone turned back towards Lilanna and Corin the area where the Omni-drone was struck was now visible. A red streak of hot metal slowly stopped glowing as the temperature decreased. The Votary was, for all purposes, unscathed. The Omni-drone lowered its still outstretched arm and began to walk towards Lilanna and Corin "Do you not see?" it began with a tone of certainty "You have come to do battle with those you do not understand. OMNI is supreme. O Omnedon terminates your offensive with the might of a battlestation. The Manifold The Manifold is mutable and present where ever they wish to be. Even now they see all." The Votary's arms began to widen out in a low and welcoming manner "I am The Votary, sworn to Omni, guide. See the error of your ways, walk with us. Learn with us. Shed the pain of your struggles and bask in luminant serenity. It is not too late for either of you." For now the Omni-drone seemed to be unwilling to dispatch them both. As Lilanna had fallen from grace, rejecting Omni, there was not a neophyte to protect. Just two wayward errors in the code, a disinteresting bloat.

Did you hear that?

Marion looked up. “Hear what?”

Nimdok stood with his head inclined, pointed ears listening intently. “Sounded like somebody… yelling for help.

“I didn’t hear anythi—”

He swatted at her. “Shh…” After a few moments, he said, “It’s coming from inside the castle. I believe it’s someone I know.

“Oh great,” Marion muttered, gazing up at the walls of circuitry and glittering lights. “Well, better see what it is. Pull up to the castle!”

Her skeleton crew of ghouls and ghosts drove the barge to the edge of the structure and parked it outside. Nimdok was the first to get off, jumping down onto a flat metallic walkway outside the castle entrance—a drawbridge across a replicant moat filled with monstrous automata.

Noticing that Marion and the others were still aboard the barge, Nimdok turned and looked back at them. “Should I go in alone, then report back to you?

“You shouldn’t go in at all,” Marion called down to him. “What are the odds of finding someone you know here?”

“The odds of that, in my experience, are actually extraordinarily high!” he said with a wink.

“It’s probably a trap.”

Don’t worry, I can handle myself.” With a casual salute, the professor turned and headed inside the castle.

Arms crossed over her chest, Marion watched him go. “What a schmuck,” she muttered. “He’s going to get himself killed.”

Beside her, a portly middle-aged ghoul wearing glasses nodded his head, hands stuffed into his pockets. His eyes darted around, fingers twitching and lips moving ever so slightly, as though he were invoking a magic spell…

Initially a bit disoriented by the non-euclidean geometry within the castle, Nimdok felt his vision go suddenly blurry. He rubbed his eyes, then found that his surroundings were no longer so headache-inducing, merely a bit eccentric. Resuming his walk, he soon found the source of the cries for help: Miss Auteme Denko-Durren, a Jedi Knight whom he was at least somewhat familiar with.

Ah, there you are,” he greeted Auteme. He had plenty of questions for her, but for now he settled for addressing the most immediate issues. “Fancy finding you here. What seems to be the problem?

They made an odd pair, the Empress and the Omni-drone, walking (or, in the Manifold's case, hovering) deeper into the castle. From an outside perspective it might have appeared odd that these natural enemies, one devoted to serving Omni and the other to destroying It, would have no reason to cease fighting. Perhaps one had somehow dominated the other; it would be a natural assumption. But the truth was that neither of them had budged from their initial positions. The Manifold was going with Ingrid for one simple reason: they knew that the Empress could bend space and teleport past them, reaching Omni's Heart without the drone being able to prevent it. At least if they went together they'd arrive at the same time.

There was another organic tagging along with them, a bearded young man with a strong Force aura... though not as strong as that of the Empress. The Manifold was not sure what to make of him. He seemed to be having some kind of disagreement with Ingrid, aligned with her goals but refusing her orders to stay behind. Ultimately, it mattered little to the drone. They simply added the man into their calculations, preparing to face him as well if he should also attempt to harm Omni... and by the sound of it, he would. The Manifold was no longer surprised by the infectious heresies that infested virtually every organic they had encountered. Their primitive minds were prone to delusions of grandeur and foolish defiance.

As they traveled through the castle, past the mainframe-towers and the circuit board walls and the floors that pulsed with ectoplasmic current, the Empress asked the drone about Omni. The Manifold was silent a moment, considering how to respond. "Omni: Creator," they finally began. "Omni: Oblivion's Architect. Omni's Plan: End Suffering. Omni's Method: Perfect Mortals. Perfection: Fusion - Organic and Mechanical." The drone did not have a gift for words; that was not their purpose. Still, they did their best to explain why Omni was the only logical choice to rule the galaxy. They did not expect to be able to persuade Ingrid or the other Force-wielder, but perhaps spreading Omni's truth would make some difference.

She didn't consider herself more than an assassin. It was her, and this is the end of the story. Ingrid never wanted to be more than an agent, a spy, an assassin. She wanted to be the best at this, so kept educating herself. She had her own ambitions, like everyone else, but she didn’t want to be a ruler, didn’t want to be a Force User, didn’t want to be a businesswoman and a military leader. She could have served her people and the Empire in so many other ways. Still, she was in the highest position. She never wanted to, and in the end just shook her head at Kahlil's words.

It didn’t matter to the woman whether she was going with Manifold or not, it was really good to get extra information about Omni that would have come in handy. Not to mention she didn’t have to search for the exact location or worry about teleporting to the wrong place. The Empress is currently walking past Manifold, with militarily motions, yet elegantly and gracefully, death was present in every movement, a true predator. Because of her armour, her face and eyes were not visible, as she could look around the castle and assess the terrain more easily as they progressed.

She knew that Omni could only be defeated by his own methods, so she had to become similar, again, like Tyrant. It first happened at Voss, when she thought Adrian was dead, all emotions disappear, only the cold logic remains, like for a machine. No pain, no suffering, just the cold logic. With that, she also defeated Night Spirit. Ingrid took a deep breath and reached for these "feelings"; she won't be better than Manifold. Both men could feel through the Force that something had changed, the woman had become something different, she was now much more like a Manifold than a living thing.

"The answer is illogical, it doesn’t make him a god. You must have met the Shadows or the Valkyrja here at Netherworld. The thriving species that live and exist here have built cities and civilisations. Valkyrja was created by me, the Shadows by my husband. None of us are gods, calculate that into your calculations and decisions. If you have done the proper calculations, answer. What makes Omni a god? That he programmed this worship into you? This is only a tyranny, oppressive dictatorship, non-deity existence, it can be achieved by any Sith or programmer. Calculate, with the most logical and optimal parameters as possible and answer me after the calculations." she explained in an almost mechanical voice, there was less emotion, living tone in her voice as before, her wording became more mechanical, but it was still natural, she wasn't acting, it was still her, but quite different than before.

Gerwald hated everything about the situation which was unfolding in front of his eyes. He could only imagine how Rann Thress Rann Thress felt about it all. The two individuals which did not see eye to eye on much found a moment of respite from their tenuous dance for the time being. While Gerwald did not agree that what was dead should remain dead, he did know they could not allow these drones, or creatures, to escape the nether. If that meant destroying the gates so that none could pass, then so be it. The galaxy was far too important than seeking to keep his promise to Naedira Darcrath Naedira Darcrath , even if Gerwald was hoping the opportunity would present itself to succeed in both functions of his duty.

Their band grew. It was still a small number compared to the onslaught of drones which came after them. Rann gave orders. It seemed for today he would follow the Lord Commander’s leading. Others pressed the attack without discerning any sign of weakness. It was a numbers game to many. There were more of the enemy, so take out as many as possible. It was a sure way to get killed, and the lupine was much smarter than that.

They still had the force.

The voice of Ruus Kote came over the comms. He apologized for being late to the party, and while it had certainly started, Gerwald had not order anyone to engage the enemy just yet.

<<< “Distract them as long as you can. We are significantly outnumbered, and so far nothing the fighters from the Eternal Empire have tried has slowed them down. Try and take out the bridges.” >>>

That would be easier said than done considering the enemy was using themselves as the material for the way across.

<<< “You too Aquilla,” >>> Gerwald said to the noble Knight Felix Felix Aquilla. <<< “Those of us on foot need extra time.” >>>

For what? Something Gerwald knew. They would be able to do more damage.

He turned to Rann Thress Rann Thress

“Have you ever used shatterpoint before? Familiar with it?”

Gerwald needed to know what he was working with. He should remember it, the skill Gerwald had used to open the ground beneath the feet of the Nocna Mora the day Sergei had been killed. Foolish mistakes had been made that day, not the least of which was the refusal of those providing support to ignore orders. Many blamed Gerwald for Sergei’s death, but there was no one to blame than the man himself. The soldier had not listened to him. Hopefully today would be different.

He made sure the other Knights which were with him understood what they were about to do.

“Everything has a weak point. Through the force we can exploit it, even kill by it. Those bridges…”

The sound of something new… bigger made its way across the gap. Gerwald saw the new machines.

“...even those damnable things… can collapse and turn to dust with just a touch. Focus on the weakness you can sense through the force and tear it apart. And don’t get killed in the process.”

He knew he would need to demonstrate. There was a drone close to their position. With a pull of the force Gerwald drew it close. Reaching out with his hand, Gerwald pressed his gauntlet to the skull of the machine. In seconds it dissolved, metal dust blowing about them on the wind.

“Take out the bridges and we slow them down. The siege engines… leave those to me and my team.”

He looked to Thress one more time, eyes falling next to Taiia Locke Taiia Locke .

“Let’s go!”

Sophia had been kept behind, it was too 'dangerous' for her to be here she had been told but something told her that there had been something wrong with LIlanna. She didn't know how she knew it or what was wrong but she knew that the only person who meant anything in her life was in danger. Sophia was getting used to her new life, she couldn't loose her one piece of stability to whatever this omni was. She had finally made her way to the battlefield only to see her savior fighting her own people or well she wasn't now. It was heart wrenching seeing the damage on the girl, it appeared that again she had ended up injured. She would have to yell at her once she was safe, not a moment before.

She called to the force and channeled it into her body to enhance it and speed herself up. She was going to help the fight and get lil to safety. "Lil I am here! I know you told me not to but I couldn't leave you alone." She would yell on the comm. Hopefully Lil could hear her. She smiled that another person was helping Lil. That woman was a new hero in Sophia's book. Life was about to get interesting. Sophia steeled herself as she went to help Lil so Corin could fight. Hoping she didn't get in the way though her light saber was at the ready should she need to defend herself. "I will take lil so you can fight and I can get her to safety." She prepared herself to support Lil.

Ty fought off the Drones pinning him down with his knife and pistol sure they got in a few good hits that would have killed any mortal However with Ty being already dead anything short of shredding his soul wasn't going to do much. As he started standing back up He noted it would take some time before his soul would be able to heal these wounds So he looked over to the Ultranaughts that were fighting earlier to see how that went.

Seeing lil pull threw if you can count her broken body as pulling threw, was a welcomed sight as Ty made his way over to the group. Kahlil kept pretty quiet at this point, just looking between the Manifold and Ingrid with mild concern. This wasn't a side he'd seen of her before, though perhaps with her background as an assassin it wasn't too surprising. The insight into Omni's plan was welcome, though. To make the galaxy perfect by combining technology and people? He very much liked not being a cyborg himself, but there was something to be said about the society that'd make.

As the Empress said, being able to program worship and thoughts into people would make that easy. But erase free will.

"Do you mind if I ask you a question myself? I know I'm sort of tagging along, but, who were you before Omni?"

O B J E C T I V E I: ATTACK
Lilanna clung to her friend, weakened, in pain, and hardly able to remain conscious. The power she had been drunk on before was no longer there, in it's stead, was the badly injured and frankly broken Warden. She could still hear the klaxons of Omni's call within the back of her skull, the lingering will of what had been was a temptation that ever so slightly suggested she rejoin the collective of steel. She resisted of course, for now, but looking at the situation looming before the pair, she didn't know what else to do. She didn't react to Corin's jest, the Warden's metal mask had long since been sheered off during her forced integration, and now she could only hang on her friend as this entity loomed before them.
It moved towards them, slowly, menacingly, speaking of how their fight was meaningless, and that they should reconsider the offer. Lilanna's hand gripped the shoulder of Corin, the Warden's lips trembling, blood seeping through the thick cut that now formed at the bottom of her lip. Scared as she might have been, the thought of anyone else being subjected to the same horror that she had was more than enough fuel to provoke a fight from her. She managed to find a strength that hadn't yet been eroded, but it was weak, and hardly another more durable than bronzium. "Corin, get back to your men." She said softly, attempting to move off the woman's support, wanting to try and step forward, though the cut to her right leg was far too much; she would collapse under her own weight with the first step. Weakened though she might have been, she was enraged, hurt, and beyond all else, desperate.
The taste of blood stained the inside of her mouth, her body shook, either from exertion or something else, she wasn't certain. The arrival of Sophia Bergen Sophia Bergen was possibly the worst thing she could have expected. Hardly able to stand, she know had several people she cared about at risk, and all of whom seemed determined to keep her safe at all costs. It was more than she deserved by far, and was the final bit of drive to do what needed to be done. No one was going to die for her. "Sophia, please, protect Corin, and get to safety. Both of you."
Shifting off Corin, the Warden gave one last squeeze to the Ultranauts arm, before shifting off, motioning for Sophia to step back. It was a desperate gamble that she was about to pull off, but it was one that needed to be done.
For all the trouble she had caused, she needed to make this right. The arrival of this new stranger did little to make her back down, as she called upon the force with what little strength she had, and cringed at the pain that came with it. For most of her life, she had been sheltered from the worst that the galaxy could offer, being having been the snobby Nar Shaddaa girl with her father who made more than enough off his slave trades to provide for her. "I don't need to be protected.... Not anymore." She grunted, the force warping inside of her, as Lilanna coughed hard, toppling off of Corin's shoulder, and just managing to catch herself as she hit the ground. The sensation of red hot nails puncturing her lungs nearly rendered her unconscious, the pain striking her already damaged form. This was hurting far more than she expected, but her time with the Sith had taught her once thing, how to direct the power into power. She focused on the obstruction, warping the force around it, and phasing it through her back as the Aether implant came free.
"I'm sorry. For everything."
Those were the only words she could rasp out, as without her lung implant in her body, she found herself unable to breath; bit of miscalculation on her part, but it was too late.
She could feel the entity within her scream out as it realized what she was doing. 'No, you idiot, stop!' She ignored it however, driving on inspite of the pain.
The pain warped into a tight ball, seizing the implant as it lingered above the Warden, as Lil held to consciousness, her will being the only thing keeping her awake at this point, teeth clenched in desperation. She commanded the device forward, her pain, ever ounce of energy she could must behind this single attack, as she would phase the implant through the drone in question. She released it, the device becoming solid for a split second as it lodged into the droids chassis. There was a moment of clarity for the Warden, as she slipped into unconsciousness, the final act she could carry forth was a final command to the device; overload.
The device now lodged in the droid would trigger, pulsing out a large amount of electricity as it attempted to jump start a heart that was no where to be found, before erupting in a small explosion as it burnt out it's energy cells. Lilanna could only hope her little act might protect her friends, though it mattered little now, as she would very swiftly begin to decline. Her life force was depleted, with along with the injuries she had sustained, the Warden laid motionless, no longer breathing, the force fading from her swiftly. Though her smile would remain fixated firmly on her bloodied and scared face.

The Empress spoke to the drone, trying to convince them to reject their programming's most basic assumption: that Omni was divine. The Manifold listened patiently, for there was little else it could do until the odd trio arrived, and they were once again set against one another. "Creation Alone: Not Divine" The Manifold agreed; many mortals had created other beings, whether spirits or machines, and that did not make them gods. Nor did mere programming or brainwashing make Omni divine. "Counterpoint: What Is A God?" the drone asked. "Omni: Oblivion's Creator. Omni: Oblivion's Ruler. Omni: Spiritual Being. All This: Not Godhood? If Omni: Not Divine, What Being: Is Divine?"

If Omni was all-powerful and all-knowing, wasn't It a god? It hadn't just created a species or a city, it had woven together an entire dimension from the fabric of the Netherworld. Nothing in Oblivion escaped Its sight, and the mortals were even now tasting Its endless power within Its domain. It existed in multiple bodies, and in the very essence of Its divine realm. As far as The Manifold was concerned, that made the Droid God the only true deity in the galaxy, for they had never encountered anything else approaching Omni's level of power and wisdom. They did not truly expect the mortals to understand, of course; organics clung to their own strange religions, whether based on the Force or on primitive superstition.

The Manifold turned their head as Kahlil spoke, pondering his question. "For Us: No Before," the drone finally replied. "Within Us: Countless Souls. We Are: Many. Our Mind: Diverse. Our Will: Unified." It was the best explanation The Manifold could come up with, for they were not like other Omni drones; they hadn't been converted from a single being, but had been built from scratch, one of the creations resulting from experimentation with the Droid God's Casket of Souls. A thousand different lives had flowed through their circuits and processors; if the Jedi reached out with the Force, he could feel the teeming host within the half-machine body, all the different echoes of people who had died over centuries.

It was a strange and chilling thing for a Jedi to experience, a violation of the natural order.

Corin stayed close to Lil, and refused to let the woman go. "I will, once you get yourself away from here." The Ultranaut replied, stubbornly facing down the drone standing before them. As it began to walk forward, Cor took a step back, half-dragging, half-carrying Lil with her. Given her friend's current condition, that was easier said than done. Casting a glance sideways, the captain's brow creased in frustration as she weighed up the odds, unable to find an outcome where this didn't end in further bloodshed. To put it simply: the situation looked bleak.

She would just have to work with what she had.

"Has anyone ever said you talk too much, drone?" Cor asked, ignoring the walking, talking abomination's words as she backed up another pace, Lil struggling weakly against her side. "I'll die before I betray the Empire, as will those I call my brothers. So, do us all a favour, and give up trying to sway us to your cause. You won't." Stopping, the ultranaut raised her rifle in warning, very much aware of the fact that, if she were forced to use it, things would end badly for her. Better to go down fighting, she thought, looking for a safe place to put Lil down. Don't expect mercy from something that doesn't believe in the concept. Fight, and die well.

Bracing herself for the inevitable, Corin could only gape in surprise as a new figure entered the fray. Young, and seemingly oblivious to the dangers of the battlefield, the new arrival was quick in leaping to Lil's aid. Nodding at the young blonde's words, Cor loosened her grip on the cyborg. "Sounds like a plan! Hear that, Lil?" Calling out to the cyborg, Cor watched as her friend stumbled and fell, barely managing to catch herself before hitting dirt. It was then that another figure appeared. Where were these people coming from?

"They'll hold." Cor answered Ty, her eyes widening slightly in surprise as recognition began to swirl in the back of her mind. "Help would be appreciated, if that's what you're offering." The ultranaut had a feeling it was. Grimacing as she stepped towards the fallen Lil, her wound aching, Cor watched as her friend sent something flying towards the Votary. She couldn't quite make out what it was before it exploded, nearly wreathing their foe in fire and smoke. Taking the opportunity to look at Lil, the captain shook her head, the old worry making it's return in the form of annoyance.

Gesturing to Lil's apprentice, Cor stuck a finger at the comatose cyborg. "Sophia, right? Sophia, I need you to get her out of here. She's in no state to fight anymore, and I'd rather she didn't perish here. Understand?" Not waiting for a reply, the ultranaut surged forward and around. Normally, she wouldn't rush an opponent head-on, but engage from range. As was, she had- wanted to divert the drone's attention away from her comrades and onto her.

Taking aim, Cor switched to slugs and fired a quick double tap at the drone's faceplate as she circled, trying to lure it towards the breach where her men -still engaged- could support her.

Sophia panicked after Lil ignored both her and Corin, that was her name she believed and then fell on the ground. "You can count on me MIss!" She shouted as she used the force to increase her strength and picked up her friend. She channeled the force into her to try to heal the girl. She hadn't done much of it but knew the gist of it all. "Damn it Lilanna! You can't leave me, your not allowed. It might be selfish but your not allowed to leave me alone. Don't leave me please." She cried as the force only knows how she was moving in the right direction but she booked it. Using most of her attention on carrying and keeping her friend alive. " Stay with me Lil. Please don't leave me. " She ran and sought out a medic, running towards wherever she came from, towards help. "You can't leave me lil I will do anything, just stay with me." Sophia was incoherent as she ran and used all her might to keep her friend alive and moving. Her mind in a panic as she begged the woman not to leave her. Sophia had her sos unit on as she sought out help. "Lil You mean the galaxy to me. You make me feel safe and I haven't felt that in a really long time. Please don't leave me alone. Stay with me. You have to stay with me." Sophia knew it was selfish to say this all to ask her to stay for her sake but she didn't care, she just needed Lil to hold on. She couldn't die!

The question that Kahlil had asked was not relevant to Ingrid at the moment. It was illogical; the logical question would have been why he accepted Omni’s gift. In this situation, humanity did not matter, emotions, they were all just a pulling force. In this condition, she felt no pain due to Adrian's death, she felt no love for the man or Tubrok, felt no attachment to her family, her children. All emotion was unnecessary and deterrent, illogical.

However, in this situation, the price was her own personality; each time it was more and more difficult to return to the emotions, to herself; there was a danger that one day she would really lose herself and some insensitive mechanical creature would remain in place of Ingrid L'lerim. The beauty of this situation was that it didn’t matter either, I mean, if it stays that way; it was optimal and logical. She looked at Manifold; even luckily the woman never thought Voracitos was a god like Adrian did, because in that case she couldn’t have been answered now.

"Counterpoint, Darth Voracitos Darth Voracitos also created a pocket dimension in Netherworld and yet is not a god. It is a logical conclusion that after a while I will be able to do this too if I get to know Netherworld even better. Conclusion: this is a matter of science and / or Force alone, not a divine power. Physics, science." answered in a similar style to the drone.

She found it interesting that Manifold consisted of innumerable souls; she also tried it, watched him through the Force; the drone told the truth. Interesting.

"Why now and why the Netherworld? It sounds pretty cowardly that Omni, who fled here like a spider long time ago and now he tries to shape and form everything into his own image."

The ending of Ty sibo music

Ty Would lift his hand off his wounded side as the pain he had had disappeared making him worry. Sure enough underneath the wound small lights and flesh converted to metal was being formed. A failure laughing in the edges of his mind started getting stronger. Damn I thought I cut that out of me when i bought it. Walking over to Corin Autem Corin Autem Ty chuckled. "Your a good soldier caring bout your freinds Reminded me of myself a long time ago." tossing her his rifle he would back up keeping control of his humanity for as long as he could while his alter ego and transformation tried to take over.

"Do me a favor kid IF we see eachother again Put me down with that thing, Its no longer made anymore so its the last of its kind and well I see no better way to go out Than by a gun of the old me." Ty would look down at his hand noting the flesh and uniform sloughing off Reviling a metal apendace with razor claws. with what little Humanity he had left he opened a portal but turned to salute Corin Autem Corin Autem "It was a pleasure serving along side Eternal Empire One last time as short as it was. Good luck troopers Long live the Empress." With that he would exit the portal putting distence between him and EE's forces as he transformation took over. His final moment of being him as he felt his control slipping against his alter ego and Omni he whispered to the winds in the neather. "Look after them like you did for me Abeloth this is my final request of a old Eternal Empire sniper."

Ty would Double over as his transformation finished what step out of the pile of flesh and old armor was no longer ty as it tossed a old set of Eternal empire dog tags From its days when Tacitus was in charge as well as the two wedding bands attached to it symbolically killing what remained of Ty and becoming Lockdown

The Investigator, for once, was silent, and that left The Manifold to respond to the blathering of these mortals. The drone could sense more of them coming, drawn by the powerful Force emanations of the factory. They were like insects drawn to a sticky trap, smelling its sweetness, yearning to touch and taste... but when they did, they would find themselves stuck fast. Omni's casket of souls would surely swell this day, and the ranks of Its drones would be expanded by these powerful recruits. In the eyes of The Manifold, that was as it should be, a simple returning of the Droid God's gifts. After all, the Living Force flowed from the Netherworld, and Omni was the Netherworld's master. Was the Force not Its to bestow or deny?

Let Sylvia and Elle come and meet their fates. That mortal emotion love paled beside Omni's power.

Meanwhile, the organics at the entrance declared their foolish, futile, self-important, blasphemous opposition to the Grand Design. The Manifold had seen it all before. These creatures all seemed to think themselves the heroes of their own little stories, but the myths they built up in their own minds would not change objective reality. They had marched themselves into the spider's lair, and their fate was now sealed. "Understanding: Soon Granted," the drone assured Caedyn, in a tone that was not at all reassuring. "Your Fate: Unification. Omni's Gift: Knowledge. Become One: Know All." The Jedi Knight would find that his view of the Force had been so terribly limited by his mortal preconceptions.

As a drone, he would find his perceptions expanded beyond the limits of his flawed biology.

Beside the Jedi, one of the scoundrels - Tovald - spoke a similar denial of the inevitable... all while shying away from The Manifold's needle-tipped appendages. It was a typical mortal failing to fear the unknown; it was why so many of them stayed in bad situations, afraid that trying something new and uncertain would lead them somewhere even worse. They had a saying about the devil you know, and it kept them from transcending their limitations. Pitiful, really. It was why their physical galaxy was so full of tyrants and poverty and suffering, keeping them clinging to old traditions and governments that did not serve them half so well as they thought. "Imperative: Do Not Fear," The Manifold told Tovald. "Your Fate: Improvement."

Another Force presence approached, and the snap-hiss of a lightsaber distracted The Manifold from the (ultimately fruitless) conversation. It was a typical mortal demand, full of typical mortal bluster. The drone stared at Darlyn, taking him in, observing his powerful connection to the Living Force... though it was a connection twisted and tainted by emotion. The "dark side", as mortals called it, was a sad, tainted thing inThe Manifold's view, for it took the impartial purity of the Netherworld and warped it. Rage, fear, grief, these were fleeting sentiments felt by flawed creatures, unworthy of the eternal purity of the Force. The Jedi came closer to that purity, accessing the Force through serenity, but they still attributed moral values to their "light side".

The Force did not have morality. It was a law of the universe, measurable by science, as Omni had proven.

"Demand: Accepted," The Manifold said, drifting aside as they spoke their unexpected words. "Invitation: Enter. Witness: Omni's Glory." The drone moved out of the doorway, allowing the motley collection of organics free entry to the factory... for they had sensed that this would better serve Omni's plan. Once these creatures stepped inside, it would be simple to seal the doors behind them and unleash all of the potent drones and machines the Droid God could muster. They might believe they had come to destroy this factory, but their true fate was only to witness the futility of their efforts, and then to be joined with Omni. Perhaps they would even accept it, before the end came for them and their free will was removed.

But The Manifold doubted it. They were stubborn beings, and willfully blind to Omni's truth.

While the arrival of Darlyn Excron Darlyn Excron was certainly astonishing to behold and the least expected of persons to show up alongside Caedyn in such a treacherous place, the Je'daii found himself temporarily perplexed and perhaps even stunned by the sudden compliance of The Manifold The Manifold 's decision to step aside and allow them entry into the Facility standing before them.

Caedyn's Lightsaber remained active, held in two hands, the blade readied at a horizontal arc, the form known as the 'center of being' while he listened to the words offered to them. He had been ready to defend himself against something that Caedyn was certain would put up more of a fight trying to protect the place, but instead...

"Demand: Accepted, Invitation: Enter. Witness: Omni's Glory".

"I can't be the only one thinking this too easy..." Caedyn muttered under his breath, his weapon slowly falling to be held at his side, the blade of energy being disengaged as he looked more so to Darlyn who stood alongside him now, while at the same time not wishing to take his eyes off of the Manifold who remained aside from the mouth of the factory.

Their fate was apparently inevitable. To become one with Omni. That's what the Manifold had just told them...-And now they were basically being invited within. It was most certainly a trap...-And yet without entering the facility, there seemed no other means to identify its purpose and potentially put a stop to whatever this Omni creature was doing.

"What is Omni?" Caedyn asked the Manifold. Once more, it might have seemed like a fruitless attempt to converse with the...Thing? But if they could gain some kind of insight without resorting to violence then it was in his nature to try. For the time being, he remained in place, seeking an answer.

Allies: None

Deep in the bowels of the Factory, hundreds of men stood chained together in a long conga line leading to the centrifuge of it's nexus. Most were sullen, sunken, necrotic looking figures dressed in rags. Upon closer inspection, there was a notable complete absence of women among the prisoners in Omni's factory. Only humanoid men, most of them young and blonde and of average height. They moved together, shuffling behind as drones stood guard over the line.

There was no work being done, no forced labor. This countless posse of humans were merely shuffling about, funneled by their drone guards towards the centrifuge. Every so often, a more massive bulbous figure of Omni's avatar - of which there were countless - would wander into the tunnels to quietly observe. And every so often, an avatar of Omni would select one of the men, removing them from line and bringing them to some unknown different location within the Factory.

As the assault commenced far above, near where the superweapon "Casket of Souls" was being forged, one particular man was selected by a unnerving sentinel.

"UNHAND me, demon."

His cries, very Tarkinesque in accent, seemed to fall on deaf telemetry.

"I am R O Y A L T Y! You will unhand me at once." His demeanor seemed sass, but his voice broke in fear. Dragged into the darkness of the citadel, several other men looked on as yet another one of his own disappeared.
