BIOGRAPHY:
What is time to the Droid God? In the Netherworld of the Force, when and how cease to be relevant questions. Impossible things become simple truths. Such is the case with The Manifold, one of the Lord of Oblivion's numberless minions. They are a fusion of many souls bound in one body - part man, part machine, part spirit, all made to serve.
They exist because Omni wills it so, and they will continue to exist so long as that will endures. Their task: to safeguard their master’s glorious work against all intruders. The Manifold seeks to keep the Netherworld in a perfect, pristine order according to Omni’s design, but this is an impossible task, for that design shifts constantly.
But The Manifold does not question this, or hesitate in carrying out its directives, even when they shift so suddenly and completely that it must undo all that it has just worked to accomplish. Inside their mind, a mass of souls bickers and rages, but no one would know it from the drone’s placid exterior. Such is the harmony Omni brings.
TRAITS:
[+]Undying: The Manifold is, at their core, a vast assemblage of souls sharing a single mind. These souls inhabit a cyborg body, part organic and part machine, in order to better interface with Omni’s grand design, but the body is only that - an interface. If destroyed, the souls remain, and can inhabit another vessel. Death is only a delay.
[+]Technomancer: Part organic, part spirit, and part machine, The Manifold has a foot in each world. Omni has granted them a powerful connection to the Living Force, and they wield this connection to carry out his great work. They have great power over technology, and wield their mighty gifts against mortals and spirits as well.
[-]Inflexible: The Manifold is in many ways akin to a computer program. It operates within set parameters, with set responses to external stimuli. Glitches - mortals entering Omni’s realm - are to be either converted or eradicated before they can interfere with the grand design. Tactical and adaptive thinking are not the drone’s strong suits.
[-]Spiritual Being: The Manifold operates with the souls of the dead running like code and power through its circuits and logic boards. Artifacts and Force abilities that harm spirits are the most effective way to do real harm to the drone, scattering their necroid mind and stunning them - or even banishing them from their current body.
