- Here with her: Thanks to the soul shard, the jewel, when in physical contact with Ingrid, gives the impression that there is still a Force-bond between her and Adrian. In addition, the soul shard responds to the woman’s emotions and reflects back such emotions that the late Darth Prospero also felt in a similar situation, or that the woman would like to feel from her husband. The woman can feel a touch or even a scent, of course these are not real, only the jewellery gives her such an effect or impression.
- Hard to find: Modified taozin leather (but not losing any of its abilities) was incorporated into the jewellery during manufacture. Thus, the crown behaves exactly like such a Taozin Amulet, hiding its wearer in the Force.
- Husband’s protection: Since Adrian had his Shield Talisman there with him at the moment of his death, which may could also be absorbed into his soul. It’s not certain, but possible this be another echo what comes from his formerly personality to protect Ingrid just like he did on Bastion or other times in non combat situations, this is why the jewellery behaves like the Shield Talisman does. Note: of course he wasn't so protective, it's more because of Ingrid's emotions that she saw him like that.
- Help from the Nether: Given the soul shard does not have self-awareness, so it does not provide actual help. Rather, it helps you focus, helps with concentration, thanks to which Ingrid can manipulate rifts within real-space. The woman is able to travel to the Netherworld anyway, but it makes it even easier for her to do so. It can close rifts, portals, or just open rifts to another dimension temporarily. These rifts usually disappear on their own within a few minutes, so they are not dangerous to the material world in any way.
- Alchemized: The metal from which the crown is made has been altered by alchemy, making the jewellery much more resistant and harder to destroy.
- Only for her: The soul shard responds only to Ingrid’s presence, for others it is just a luminous necklace, or not just a necklace with blue crystals. Maybe it responds to Ingrid's presence, even when the woman is nearby, although for the effects she also needs to be in contact with the jewel.
- Just an Echo: The soul piece does not have a self-consciousness and is just an echo, a memory. It is for this reason that it can only reflect back to the woman an emotion that the late Adrian Vandiir felt in a similar situation in his life. But since it's just a fragment, it may not reflect the actual emotion, but what the woman wants to feel at that moment from her husband, even though she feels like they're coming from Adrian. And since these are just memories / echoes of emotions, so distortions are also conceivable.
- Weak Cure: It does not give real cure and is much more torture because it is just a vain hope. It only works as long as you have physical contact with Ingrid. It temporarily relieves the pain (under the physical contact), but that’s why it brings even more mental pain if the woman doesn’t have the jewellery because it ruptures the wounds she may have begun to heal earlier.
- Addictive: As its use results in as if the Force-bond between Adrian and Ingrid existed again, not to mention the emotions, what the woman can feel, it is very addictive. Especially in the state in which the woman is, she can very easily start to attach to the object as if it were a very strong drug and might feel she cannot live without it.
- Without Force: In a place where there is no Force, the amulet has no advantage, no ability can be used. It's just a beautiful piece of jewellery that glows blue. In a place where the Force is weaker, the benefits are also weaker than in the original state.
The jewel contains a shard of Adrian’s soul that the woman received when she temporarily killed herself during Byss ’invasion to save her husband’s soul from the Netherworld. It failed because Adrian’s soul is in pieces, however, when she herself left a piece of her own soul with her husband, she also received one from which she made this piece of jewelry.
It all started there when Adrian died in the siege of Dantooine, and Ingrid got into a very bad condition due to the destruction of the Force-bond, which hasn’t really improved since then and is suffering from constant depression and huge mental pain due to her husband’s death. In desperation, the woman moves everything she moves to resurrect the Sith Lord. That’s why she also got into a very risky and dangerous thing he did on Byss.
Ingrid would otherwise have the power to resurrect her husband, however, Adrian's soul was torn to pieces and she had not yet found a way to put the soul together to get the original Adrian back without any damage. Still, she tried to save the soul of the Sith Lord from the Netherworld. During the siege of Byss, absorbed as much energy from the Nexus as she could and let

kill her temporarily.When that happened her soul entered the Netherworld where she could feel all the soul shards and the biggest chunk as well. Ingrid went to the chunk, she didn’t have much time anymore because her body had regenerated, but managed to touch the soul, and that’s when she got the piece from which the Last Gift was made. She also paid for the soul shard with a soul shard, which tore out of her own soul and left behind to stay with Adrian and be with him, taking care of him even after his death. Thanks to this act, the woman is able to move to the Netherworld at any time.
The soul shard brought home had a myriad of advantages - the disadvantages she simply didn’t want to deal with - most notably that she could finally feel again the Sith Lord she loved. That's why she decides to make an amulet / necklace out of the soul shard, which she can then take with herself anytime. Even if she can’t always feel the emotions from the soul shard, it’s good to make the Force-bond feel like it exists and the pain doesn’t distract her from other, more important things.
She also designed the jewellery and the socket and then made it with the help of alchemy and sorcery, which was a very easy task in addition to her current knowledge.
