  • Maneuverability Rating: Average
  • Speed Rating: High
  • Hyperdrive Class: None
STANDARD FEATURES
  • Heavy Dropship meant for ground to space operations from carriers, assault ships, and other large capital ships
  • Diverse weapons load to include: two point defense dual rapid fire laser cannon turrets, rotary dual light laser cannon turret, two remote weapon stations with a single missile hard point and heavy laser cannon. Missile hard point is rated to carry all types of missile/torpedo weapons.
  • 4 Heavy Repulsorlift/4L4 Fusial Thruster combo engines across four main points of the ship give it ability to move extremely fast despite its weight and cargo. Vectoring abilities of the engines also contribute to the dropship's ability to hover and maneuver exceptionally.
  • Standard Sensor Package allow the ship to plot courses through hazardous situations. Detection packages include a radar/lidar suite, missile detection and early warning system, altimeter sensors and gyroscopes to assist the ship in tracking itself and flight paths in atmosphere and space.
  • ANq 5.8 Tracking computer complimented with a CRX-9 Targeting Computer on board allows for the programming and guidance of missiles/torpedoes mounted on hard points. Also facilitates each of the ship's weapons stations to have top of the line weapons targeting, tracking and artificial lead indicators to make the weapons even more effective both against ground and air targets.
ADVANCED SYSTEMS
  • Internal bays have emergency restraints in place for all personnel and cargo to ensure maximum safety in the case of a emergency/crash landing.
  • Onboard rebreathers keep the air inside the vessel's air recycled for an almost unlimited supply of operating air and allow for modifying oxygen content of air to make breathable for non-oxygen breathing species or to stretch a compromised air supply.
  • Each compartment of the ship, from the cargo bay, to the pilot bay and small medical center is modular and able to be completely sealed off in case of a breach. This also allows for the ship to be modified for different roles in supporting military and civilian operations from troop transport, search and rescue, to emergency transport for relief supplies.
  • Standard defensive systems include a heavy deflector and thermal shield, chaff and flare dispensers, heavy Phrik-A reinforced hull armor, and Ionite-A shielding of key systems across the gunship from engines to life support and pilot controls.
  • Missile hardpoints on the pylons of the craft have the ability to program smart munitions, and lase targets for precision strikes or receive target lases from ground troops to provide close precision tactical air support.
  • Ship is powered by a massive Isotope-5A standard reactor giving it the ability to utilize both Isotope-5 and Isotope-5A fuel sources in flight and giving it a huge power output and range before needing to refuel.
STRENGTHS
  • Heavy Mobile Fire Support - This dropship is capable of getting across the battlefield and bringing with it considerable firepower to support the troops it drops off on the ground. And that isn't even mentioning the capabilities it has with the two missile hard points on the ship allowing it to perform close tactical precision strikes on hard targets in support of infantry and other land based operations.
  • Big Dropship Go Fast - At first glance at this dropship, you'd look at the size, weight, and armor of this utter behemoth of a vessel and think that it was a fat slow target for anti-air guns. And you would be dead wrong. The massive repulsor/thruster engines on the side of the vessel, along with its Isotope-5A power plant gives this ship the ability to truly fly, embodying the phrase "Even a brick will fly if you put enough power behind it,". These girls are built tough, move fast, and get their troops and tanks to the ground in an expedient and effective manner.
  • Massive Payload - These dropships have a massive internal bay with an attached squad bay to carry down an entire platoon of infantry with two medium vehicles or, in the case of a heavy assault dropship, you can configure these babies to carry down two heavy tanks, bringing a tank platoon down with a single squadron of dropships. Or, if you really want to get boots on the ground fast, you can swap the cargo bays for even more infantry space and bring down two and a half platoons of soldiers in a single ship with all of their equipment, ammo, and gear. And for those infantry lovers out there, the ship features a fast rope deployment cables on the rear of the vessel meaning you don't have to actually land there to get them on the ground.
WEAKNESSES
  • Really big target - This ship isn't stealthy at all, especially in its base configuration. It's massive, it's loud, and most importantly it has the radar cross section of the big bus that she is. You aren't going to hide this without some serious modifications, and I mean a complete overhaul of the armor systems, engines, and a lot of internal components mainly because this ship wasn't designed to be quiet or go in unnoticed. This ship was designed to be biggest and meanest dropship in the valley, and while that helps the people on the ground, it makes you public enemy number one in the air. And this ship is tough, but not invincible.
  • Long range, but still needs support - This ship has no hyperdrive on board, and while it can move pretty far pretty fast, you aren't leaving the system on one without some serious modifications or overhauls. And while it could certainly support said modifications, that's gonna be taking away from your capabilities as a dropship or gunship, so unless you've got capital ships to bring you in to battle, I'd suggest you look elsewhere for a standard gunship type of vessel.
DESCRIPTION
The Heavy. The hammer which you bring down upon your enemy's positions to break their lines with sheer firepower and unstoppable force. The show of nigh unmatched wrath that you will unleash with sheer righteous fury on the opponents. And not even because of what the ship's using to hit the enemy, but what it's carrying. Anything from over two platoons of infantry to two heavy tanks, all in one dropship that's armored to take extreme amounts of punishment. This is no mere dropship, its a nightmare for defenders. Because even after its dropped off its cargo its able to perform close fire support for its cargo, and do so with exceptional precision. Dropships like this are the back bone of the Air/Space Cavalry. They move in fast, they hit the enemy hard and drop off their troops and then move in to support them. These ships move into the spaces with the heaviest fighting guns blazing, and then drop off its extremely angry cargo to add to the defenders woes. And with the thrust vectoring this ship doesn't have to move in a straight line, as the variable thrust vectors of the main thrusters make this thing surprisingly nimble for its size, making it an odd target to try and hit. And that's not even mentioning if this thing is shooting back at you. This thing is designed to both withstand and deliver violence on the field of battle. If you have to face a few squadrons of these bringing down an attacking force of troops, pray to whatever gods you worship for mercy.

Because these guns will have none.

Hi Sergei, I'll be reviewing your submission today. Love the choice of the Valkyrie as a reference image! Damn that thing is so good looking! Anyway, moving on!

PRODUCTION INFORMATION
Unfortunately, Sergei, at Minor production you're not going to be able to have both the CIS and the Direwolves use this according to the template.
Production: The scale is Unique (Only One Character), Semi-Unique (A single small unit, squad, or squadron), Limited (Only one small group of characters. IE: A Single Minor Faction, Company, or Group within a faction.), Minor (Large groups of characters. (IE: A Single Major Faction, a few companies, or groups.), Mass-Produced. (Anyone.) Characters refer to NPCs & PCs.)
So I'm going to need you to change that, one way or another, if you could, please. Which I understand can be frustrating, but those are the rules, dear sir.

TECHNICAL SPECIFICATIONS
Everything looks almost fine, but there's a slight problem with the armament rating. With the amount of weapons that this thing is carrying, I really don't think it warrants an Average rating. You even list it under strengths, later. You're going to have to either change the rating, or change the armament listing and strengths.

STANDARD FEATURES
altimeter sensors and gyroscopes so the ship can actually track itself and flight paths in atmosphere and space.
Perhaps avoid this sort of wording. Your ship isn't the only ship in the galaxy to ever enter atmospheric flight and have its pilot able to navigate by instruments.

One more thing, I'd like you to link the various systems here that you haven't linked. The shielding and EWAR systems to name a few.

Otherwise things look fine, your list seems to cover what's needed.

STRENGTHS AND WEAKNESSES
Because of the armament rating, either this strength needs to go or you need to change the rating. One more thing, can you add another weakness to balance the strengths and weaknesses out? Otherwise this looks fine, and is quite entertaining to read.

DESCRIPTION
that's armored to take anything you can throw at it and ask for seconds. When it laughs at the fighters you send to intercept it because the pilots know their guns and shielding alone will handle them. When it casually avoids those fixed heavy AA guns and straight up tanks the lighter stuff because its hull is designed to take the punishment.

I'm going to need you to relax the wording on that. That's a little too absolute.

It will move in and overwhelm the enemy with sheer aggression and firepower to suppress the enemy

Same here, this wording is too absolute. Relax the wording on this considerably, please.

And with the thrust vectoring this ship doesn't have to move in a straight line, as it can easily hover or strafe, making it an odd target to try and hit.

Ships without thrust vectoring can hover and strafe as well, this sentence is odd here at best, and misleading at worst. Perhaps reword it.

Right, sorry to be the bearer of bad news, but rules are rules, and we don't want problems cropping up later. Best to get the addressed now when its nice and early. Tag me once you've finished making these changes or if you've got any questions.

Okay Shuklaar Kyrdol Shuklaar Kyrdol here we go again!

1. Fixed it
2. Swapped Maneuverability with Firepower hope this works
3. Put in links where needed and dropped EW package because I don't have an example of a defensive EWAR package available. Will get on that.
4. See #2
5. Reworded all mentioned phrases, should be a little less absolute while still maintaining that aura of "Oh dear god what is that?!"

Thank you much!

Okay, that all should be fine, I just need you to link the components listed in there.

Standard defensive systems include a heavy deflector and thermal shield, chaff and flare dispensers, EW suite, heavy Phrik-A reinforced hull armor, and Ionite-A shielding of key systems across the gunship from engines to life support and pilot controls. Standard Sensor Package and E-War suite to provide maximum protection against electronic warfare and allow the ship to plot courses through hazardous situations. Detection packages include a radar/lidar suite, missile detection and early warning system, altimeter sensors and gyroscopes so the ship can actually track itself and flight paths in atmosphere and space.

I hate to be so fussy about the links, but this stuff really does need to be linked, and unfortunately you missed them.

Detection packages include a radar/lidar suite, missile detection and early warning system, altimeter sensors and gyroscopes so the ship can actually track itself and flight paths in atmosphere and space.
