  • Recoil: Average
SPECIAL FEATURES:
  • Rapid Fire: This weapon supports an impressive rate of fire.
  • Modes of Fire: Can switch rapidly between; Full Auto and a 4 round burst.
  • UV Guided: The stock weapon comes with a UV under barrel laser sight and digital sight to see it invisible to most naked eyes.
  • Collapsible Stock: The stock Harrier comes with a fold out shoulder stock extension for better aim and control.
  • Ion Compatible: The Harrier has loaded both an Ion and a standard blaster battery for quick swapping between firing modes.
  • Titanium Shielding plate: A titanium shelf that protects the user's hands in case of a misfire or the blaster gas being hit.
  • Highly Modular: boasts several modular connection points for attachments, expanded power cells, gas canisters laser sights etc.
  • Biometric Scanner: This weapon will not unlock or prime without a finger on the trigger, which can be registered to a specific user.
STRENGTHS:
  • Fully Automatic: The Harrier is a fully automatic weapon capable of staggering rates of fire of up to about 900 rp/m. Though not a rate of fire that compares to heavier rotating blasters it stands out as a mass produced blaster with one of the faster rates of fire on the market while not compromising its damage.
  • Dual Power Supply: Unlike its little sister, the Harrier loads both an Ion and a Diatium battery into its systems simultaneously, allowing for even more rapid switching between the power supplies with little more than a pull on either of the weapon's two triggers. The blaster shots fired by the weapon hit about as hard as the average blaster system, but having the ability to trade between anti personnel or non lethal / anti system make this customizable weapon all the more terrifying.
  • Adjustable Power Setting: The Harrier stocks twin Tibana gas chambers allowing them to be charged separately with both the weapons ion and Diatium battery. Should both triggers be pulled simultaneously the weapons rate of fire increases significantly in short bursts, but increases the recoil.
  • Highly Customizable: Modular accessory slots on the rail, barrel, under-barrel and sides combined with universal power point jacks and blaster chamber attachments and even removable grips and iron sights make this weapon one of the easiest on the market to customize to your own specifications.
WEAKNESSES:
  • Wind Up: When the Biometric Scanner is activated, if the weapon is in full auto mode the weapon takes a second to charge its internal storage of blaster gas before firing, meaning that as far as quick-draw weapons go, its not always the fastest on the draw.
  • Ammunition Intensive: The C-99 is a high rate of fire weapon adorned with decent stopping power making it a dangerous weapon in close spaces. However, it has a habit of gnawing through ammunition far faster than an inexperienced user would think often leaving them high and dry when it matters most. Count your bolts with this one.
DESCRIPTION:
The harrier is a top of the line PDW created and developed by the House Aquila quartermasters to be a larger more advanced variant of the C-9 "Canary." This older brother to the young raptor packs a bigger punch and more ammunition, using its larger space in order to allow it to bear simultaneous batteries integrated into a dual trigger system which allows it to fire either blaster rounds or ion rounds depending on which of the two triggers you pull. Should both be pulled simultaneously the weapon interchanges its rounds between the two, while escalating its rate of fire significantly for a short duration... but inversely increases the weapons' recoil.

This weapon, unlike the C-9 is was intended to be used by military personnel and more experienced weapon lovers. Although it still boasts the same level of customization as the C-9, with every part easily detachable and integrating universal modular ports into several sections of the weapon to allow a veritable myriad of potential accessory combinations. However, the weapon is a tad heavier than the C-9 by ratio comparatively, but not so much that it is incapable of performing its duties admirably within the loving hands of those who covet it.

All in all the C-99 Harrier is a powerful tool made devastating by its unique ability to wield multiple types of plasmic ammunition combined with the level of customization built into the system. a frame that would be able to be upgraded enough to stand the test of time and allow others to make this unique firearm a namestay of their home defense!

Looks good for the most part, though your inclusion of "Armour Penetration" as a pseudorating may cause some confusion, since while the template may freely be added to the actual ratings are set in stone unless otherwise specified, e.g., in the Resistances of armour. I would therefore suggest removing it and adding it as a Weakness instead - it should be noted that your Ratings are balanced without it, due to the Minor Production.

Hmmm? But i was told by john when asked if it was able to be added to the templates themselves (because armour pen and damage / stopping power are different) he said that i could just add it in?

I'm really confused now, and am getting mixed messages.

Alright, checked in with John, who confirmed what I already wrote - it's inadvisable since it can lead to confusion in RP and for Judges, but it is not against the rules per se. I will therefore strongly suggest removing it and including the information elsewhere, such as in the form of a Weakness.

Reason for Moving to Pre-Codex:
  • Have to fix up some of the coding here which is really badly hurting my OCD :(

Moved to pre-factory per OP request. Please remember to include a list of changes made when you tag a member of factory staff to move the submission back to live judgement.
