ADVANCED SYSTEMS
STRENGTHS
  • Fleetmaster: The Darasuum Kote is built to strengthen the fleet that it complements; with supportive modules, fleet management systems, and defensive systems to bolster ships around it, any fleet that the Darasuum Kote is a part of will be significantly strengthened.
  • Warforge: With refining stations, heaving mining lasers, molecular furnaces, and various industrial facilities the Darasuum Kote is essentially a mobile starforge. It is able to mine, manufacture, and produce new equipment, vehicles and even ships without ever touching the atmosphere of the world; this allows Mandalorians to build and resupply themselves and their fleet as they go.
  • Iron Fury: The Darasuum Kote is an extremely powerful warship, with innumerable armaments that turn it into a true fleet killer. It is just as strong as well and able to withstand even the toughest of bombardments.
  • Fire of the Heavens: The Star Dreadnought is built to be able to withstand the gravity well of astronomical objects, meaning that it can operate within a planet’s atmosphere just as well as it can in deep space.
  • Hyperstorm: The Star Dreadnought is specialized around hyperspace technology, able to create micro-jump fields that can facilitate not only micro-jump maneuvers of itself, but of the ships around it even if they are incapable of performing micro jumps on their own. It also features interdiction field projectors as well as a 0.8-grade hyperdrive.
  • Stealth Warrior: A multitude of stealth technologies, including sensor interferers and cloaking devices, are featured onboard the ship.
WEAKNESSES
  • Docking & Repairs: The Star Dreadnought is a rather large ship, limiting the facilities that can dock and service the Darasuum Kote.
  • Large Profile: The large profile of the Star Dreadnought makes it a fairly easy target, even at conventionally-long ranges.
  • Access Granted: The addition of two exterior dockyards means that there are multiple points where enemy ships can attempt to board.
  • Backup Hyperdrive: Should the primary hyperdrive of the Star Dreadnought fail, the backup hyperdrive is significantly slower.
  • Maneuverability: The Darasuum Kote’s maneuverability is lower-than-average when compared to standard ships of its class.
  • Speed: The Darasuum Kote’s maximum atmospheric speed is slower-than-average when compared to standard ships of its class.
DESCRIPTION
The insurmountable destruction of Mandalorian firepower. The eternal glory of the Mando’ade.

The Darasuum Kote.

The history of Mandalore has been that of constant strife. From the domination of Mandalore, to the first Crusades, the Neo-Crusades, the Mandalorian-Republic War. . there are innumerable conflicts that would take centuries to allocate the appropriate detail each war deserves. But in modern galactic history, no culture has had to reckon with loss on a more intimate scale than Mandalorians.

Their tenuous peace was shattered on a war of threefold fronts. In their hubris, Mand’alor the Infernal sought to wage war against the Silver Jedi Concord; the Confederacy of Independent Systems answered the Jedi’s bleating for help and pushed back the Mandalorians at Eshan and Tanaab. What might have been a temporary setback in an otherwise victorious war was forever ended when the Sith Empire, longtime allies of the Mandalorians, struck with a blade in their back.

Manda’yaim was razed. Her people were slaughtered by the millions. The Sith began an institutionalized erasure of Mandalorian History and Culture; captured sons and daughters of Mandalore were enslaved or murdered. Those who escaped began the Mandalorian Diaspora as remnants fled to all corners of the galaxy seeking refuge. Some took common cause with the Imperials in fighting for their home. Some hid within the various governments willing to take in the refugees. Others turned towards contracting out their surfaces to scrape by for a living.

It was seemingly agreed that the era of Mandalorian power was coming to an end; that the Clans would whittle themselves away until they were but a memory in Galactic History.

But there was one group, one safe harbor, one Enclave, where a spark of hope was born. It was small at first, but it grew as more flocked to its cause. Doubt had spread throughout the galaxy that Mandalorians could ever hold true power. But when the Mandalorian Enclave retook the world of Kestri from the Yuuzhan Vong, claiming the ancient world for their own, they proved to themselves that the Mandalorian people were worthy once more.

And now the Mandalorian Enclave establishes itself as a galactic power, proving to the galaxy that Mandalorians are worthy once more. And at the spearhead of their crusade: the Darasuum Kote. It is the apex of Mandalorian engineering and destructive firepower. The symbol of the eternal glory of Mandalore. For though her shell may be broken, her spirit lives on in each son and daughter of Manda’yaim.

Very nicely made and detailed submission! I found two problems.
  • Hyperdrive, you missed this part, please add these to the strengths and weaknesses:
Hyperdrive: (Does this ship have a hyperdrive? If this ship has a hyperdrive how fast is it? The lower the number, the faster the ship is, you may choose decimals. Any speed below 1.0 requires the hyperdrive to be added to the ship’s strengths and accordingly balanced with weaknesses. Links: Hyperdrive, Hyperdrive Comparisons)
  • The second, the ship is quite imbalanced, please add one more PvP relevant weakness to your weakness list.

Hmm, nothing really connect with the hyperdrive, in the weaknesses. Maybe if you add this one or similar for example, this hyperdrive is power hunger and consumes a lot of energy when used. And this is not a pvp weakness, just indicates higher speed requires more energy. So some similar weakness would be perfect to this.

A solidly written submission, but the presence of a highly advanced cloaking suite really should be noted beyond the "Defences" section. Strengths would be ideal, but I can permit it under Advanced Systems so long as it is sufficiently clear to future readers.

For the record, combining a cloaking device with another that directly negates one of the former's weaknesses (i.e., "Sensor Detection") should not be done lightly. I am not going to prohibit it outright, but I strongly suggest you take care to use them responsibly.
