SPECIAL FEATURES
  • The RMR-S22X uses a Sybarium Energy Crystal as its focusing lens to annihilate a steady stream of hypermatter that is feeded into the reactor via dolovite insulated tubing, which is then refracted through a second crystal to create a power stream through doonium-insulated wires into the ship's power grid.
  • The RMR-S22X can be built in a variety of sizes and power production levels in order to accommodate a certain ship design and size.
  • The RMR-S22X can function with different types and isotopes of hypermatter.
STRENGTHS
  • Power Draw: With a hypermatter-based reactor chamber that is powered by dual-focal Sybarium Energy Crystal lenses, the RMR-S22X has an enormous power output potential.
  • Versatile: The RMR-S22X can be built in a number of different sizes and configurations to best fit a ship's design, purpose and planned power consumption. In addition to that, the RMR-S22X is able to process any kind of hypermatter, which makes it a more flexible reactor model than many standard one-fuel-only models.
WEAKNESSES
  • Hypermatter Only, Please: Perhaps the biggest inhibitor of the RMR-S22X is that its fuel range is limited to only hypermatter, which is only one fuel type out of thousands present in the galaxy. This can create supply complications and other potential problems for customers that do not have a steady and stable access to hypermatter variants.
  • Don't Play with Reactors: As a hypermatter reactor, the RMR-S22X is very volatile and with reckless tampering or damage to the internal systems, some very not fun chain reactions could be set off. Essentially, if the reactor is compromised, so is its ship.
DESCRIPTION
The first iteration of a core reactor module by Roble Manufacturing, the RMR-S22X delivers on Roble's promise of constant innovation and advancement with technology. Integrating the highly-useful synthetic Sybarium Energy Crystal as a dual focal lense, the RMR-S22X Hypermatter Annihilation Reactor uses composite lasers (emitted by the Sybarium Energy Crystal lense) to destroy particles of hypermatter, creating a controlled chemical reaction that when captured by another lense is transferred into energy that can be used to power a ship's systems. The RMR-S22X can function with any variant of the standard hypermatter; however, this also acts as a limitation since the RMR-S22X can only function with hypermatter, limiting the kinds of fuels that can be used by ships with this reactor installed. However, due to a very high standard rate of power output, the RMR-S22X is still a very useful and integral part of any ship design.
