SPECIAL FEATURES
  • The RMAC-M4 can toggle between automated and manual fire modes, as well as be firelinked in groups of two, four, six, or eight.
  • The barrels and core of the RMAC-M4 are encased SACG-23S shock-absorbant gel, reducing recoil and also acting as a coolant, preventing the weapon from overheating.
  • The RMAC-M4 can be controlled remotely, increasing the convenience factor of where the weapon can be placed. In addition, the RMAC-M4 can also interface with any type of targeting system.
  • The Sybarium Crystal power generator of the RMAC-M4 greatly enhances the power yield and capability of the quad-turbolaser battery. The power generator also makes power generation for the weapon more efficient overall.
STRENGTHS
  • Ka-BOOM: The quad-barrels and Sybarium Crystal power generator exponentially enhance the damage output of the RMAC-M4 quad-turbolaser battery.
  • Versatile: The RMAC-M4 can switch between manual and automated fire modes, as well as be firelinked in groups of two, four, six, or eight. This allows for crew flexibility and/or automation, and can be used as well for different offensive and defensive strategies.
  • Heat-Be-Gone: Both the barrels and core of the RMAC-M4 quad-turbolaser battery are encased in SACG-23S gel, which absorb much of the recoil of the weapon as well as act as a coolant that prevents the weapon from overheating. This allows for continuous fire from the battery without possible internal damage.
  • Extra Protection: As the RMAC-M4's large size can make it an easy target for starfighters and ships alike, the battery's exterior is a dual-weld of Durasteel-421A and Durasteel-421S alloys, adding to the weapon's defensive statistics.
WEAKNESSES
  • Look out for Fighters: Because of the RMAC-M4's large size, it can be an easier target for both enemy ships and starfighters.
  • Not Anti-Aircraft: The slow firing rate of the RMAC-M4 and the lack of precise fast-tracking equipment mean that the battery is not suited for point-defense or anti-aircraft combat.
  • Big Boom, Big Boy: The RMAC-M4 battery is an extremely large weapon, and thus ships under the size of a heavy cruiser (less than 600m) cannot feasibly install this weapon.
DESCRIPTION
Designed to be the crowning feature of any capital ship's armament, the RMAC-M4 quad-turbolaser battery is truly a massive gun. Roble Manufacturing created the design with the intent to be a large, powerful mainstay gun akin to an octuple barbette turbolaser or the like. With damage upgrades coming from its quad-barreled design and Sybarium crystal power generator, the RMAC-M4 is able to wreck a fair amount of havoc among enemy ships. It's only drawbacks come when faced with small, fast-flying ships in which the RMAC-M4 stacks up very poorly against, lacking the firing speed and precision targeting to succesfully eliminate starfighters and other small ships. However, it's an overall powerful gun that any self-respecting capital ship should include in its armament.
