Clearing as fast as Mute could, the shotgun was thrown over his back and replaced with the longer ranged rifle. Following to the approximate location of where the Knight was. Communication over the coms was heard by the man, but not outwardly acknowledged. Like his call sign, he stayed silent. Not opting to answer considering the Knight also spoke up the words that were easily conveyed. If most Mando's had a bridge, all it would do was give them the aerial advantage. Meaning it would be harder to hit them.

Yet, the Knight revealed themselves. Only to tell the others to provide cover for her. Without skipping a beat, Mute grabbed two null grenades. Pulling the pin, and tossing them down the road on either side of them. Bringing his rifle to head in the direction of the other, Mute Looked to the Spy Nikolai. Shaking his head, grabbed the shotgun from his back and tossed it to the Spy. A simple pistol wasn't the best kind of covering weapon. Then indicated the other pathway towards the Knight.

Hearing the words of the Knight, asking for possible medical assistance afterwards, While holding the rifle down range, Mute's off hand reached to his pack to his left. Reaching to the medical pack and pulling out the adrenal stimulant. Mute could hear the exertion of Tallara trying to push the vessel that was in the sky and coming down hard.

As soon as her exertion ended, Mute dropped his rifle and spun around. Reaching out to the Knight as she slumped to the wall. A hand immediately went to the back of her neck. Preventing her head from craning back, or slamming from the loss of consciousness. Slowly letting her body to the ground, The Commando looked to his lane, Nothing at the moment.

Attention back to the Knight. Taking the adrenal stim, slamming it into the knights thigh to activate the needle to stab through her clothing. Mute fully knowing well that her leg would hurt later. Leaning over, Mute grabbed the sling for the firearm that he had dropped earlier. Pulling it towards him and looping himself through it. Letting it hang on the front of him. Banging the ground for the moment.

"Continue Mission"

Directed at the Spy, the only two words he has said today so far. The deep voice seemed to almost explode on the Com systems with the silence. He reached down, putting his left shoulder directly into the hips of the knight, Using his hands to reach behind her back, and her rear. Kneeling himself to be in the best position possible, He stood up while lifting her onto his shoulder. One hand up to hold onto the knight's hip as it was positioned on him. Making sure she wouldn't slip off.

Reaching to his side now, Mute pulled out the pistol he carried. It was easier to aim that one handed than the rifle. Immediately heading towards their objective. Knowing that the Knight would be up in about a minute. For the time being, Mute would carry her body to the mission location. So if she could still be of use to the objective of preventing Mandos from entering the city further, then they could. Finally speaking some more words at the Spy. Just two.

"Take Point."

"Hey boss, look up!"
Garlan shouted as the two took cover tin a nearby alley. All around Vulpesen, his men were flooding the streets, descending on the mandalorians like a pack of wolves. But he'd been fighting his tail off since the moment he left the capitol building, and he needed a breather. You could only swing your lightsaber so many times before your arm got tired, even if it was a weightless blade.

"What is it? Paratroopers?
" the Valde, asked, too busy catching hsi breath to actually lift his head.

"Not quite, boss."

"CAS?"

"Uh... sure. Yeah, we can call that air support, I guess."

The puzzlement in Garland's voice, finally caused Vulpesen to lift his head, his brow furrowed with frustration at the riddles. Then, his eyes widened in shock. "Son of a-" His voice raised to almost a shout as he clicked into his comms. "Everyone take cover! Garlan stay close." Vulpesen had mastered the art of telekinesis decades ago, but his specialty was in propelling small objects at impossible speeds. He was great at bursts of power, but this... this was different. This was moving an6 item on a scale he had never before done. Still, he had to try as the idea of being crushed and blown apart by a crashing ship did not appeal to him.

Raising both of his hands, he called on the force to seize the ship, trying his best to slow its descent. He could feel the grip of others along with him, slowing and redirecting the ship to somewhere other than the center of town. He went with that push, angling it even further even while he continued to push back. his golden eyes, usually glowing with an ethereal light, now blazed like twin suns within his skull. He felt the warmth of blood dripping from his nose, and he let out a growl of exertion. Hopefully someone in that ship could do something to pull it back, but for now, the Arch-Wilder was doing his best to buy them time by keeping the ship off the ground.

Aana scowled as the Twi'lek drew a long sword from her back. "Fine, let's dance then," she replied, ignoring her insult about the Senate. True, the politicians were incredibly indecisive, taking months to pass even a single bill. But the GA as a whole had a good 'heart' and mission, and Aana would fight to the death to defend it.

She drew her own vibroblade and began to walk forward, trying her best to look intimidating. She stopped trying after the first step. Surely both of the combatants knew that neither one would be frightened in this battle. Aana finally stopped advancing three meters away from the Mando. Normally, she would circle her opponent, but her target was the only thing stopping the Basilisk from firing. So she wisely stayed put.

Aana inclined her head, signaling her opponent to make a move.

The Morning before, on the ANS Tenacity

A sudden hug from her padawan took the Knight off guard. Her mind hadn't really connected the dots up until this point that Ko Vuto Ko Vuto was, for all intents and purposes, under her care. Before now, she had seen him like a little brother, a student she could teach and occasionally hang out with.

In that moment, her mind reorganized those feelings. Ko was no longer just a student. No longer just a friend. Now he was family.

She hugged back, taking a chance to just live in that moment. Ever since she had been unfrozen, she had felt disconnected from the galaxy. The last of her old family. Now she had a new one. A padawan.

But the war wouldn't stop for sentimentality. She was now off to go fight the mandos. She prayed to Sylvar Ko would be kept safe.

The sight of a ship falling from the sky had broken Jonyna of her concentration, causing one of the mandos who she was fighting to get a lucky shot on her shoulder. Didn't help him when she stabbed him through his bodysuit. She needed to go find out what ship that was. If that had been the one Ko was on...

"Dice, what ship is that?" She asked as she blasted into the air, dodging the blaster fire that followed.

"The ANS Tenacity Master Si! It seems to have disengaged it's gravitational locking mechanism!"

"...chit." She growled. That was Ko. Oh Sylvar protect him. What had been a casual maneuver to check the ship was now a rocket towards it. She couldn't let her first padawan die. She needed to reach that crashing ship. The Tenacity, a ship that ore the same name as the ship she once called home.

She needed to find whomever did this.

The ship jolted violently, throwing Braze off balance as he was finishing up his last-minute preparations. Tools clattered to the floor, and he quickly secured a gas canister to his belt alongside a holstered stun gun. The turbulence was too severe to be normal; something was terribly wrong.

As he gripped a doorway to keep himself upright, another harsh movement rocked the ship. It felt like they were plummeting. Panic surged through him. A garbled voice sounded over the comms--barely coherent amid static--but the urgency was clear.

Staggering toward a portside viewing window, he felt his stomach drop at the sight below. They were in a freefall trajectory towards Ryloth's capital. Buildings and streets were zooming into view at a terrifying speed. Realization dawned on him: they could annihilate an entire section of the city if the ship crashed there.

The ship jerked again, a jarring, unnatural movement as if some external force was trying to steer or slow them. Not waiting to figure out what or who it was, Braze sprinted toward the engine bay. Every second counted.

He used the Force to rip off protective panels as he entered, cursing himself for not paying more attention during his mechanical classes. He was greeted by a maze of circuitry and engine components. His eyes darted over the layout, mind racing. Focusing intensely, he worked at rerouted the ship's energy flow with the Force, bypassing damaged circuits.

The ship shuddered again, this time differently--Braze felt a pulse in the Force--foreign and powerful. The effort seemed strained, not sufficient to handle a capital ship of the Tenacity's magnitude-but it helped!

The ANS Tenacity shuddered violently yet again, the groaning of metal echoing through its massive hull as if gripped by an immense but invisible hand. Braze's eyes narrowed. This didn't feel like turbulence or a mechanical failure; it felt like the Force. Someone down on the surface was trying to steer the ship, to intervene in its catastrophic fall. It was a powerful Force presence, almost overwhelming in its intensity, but it wasn't enough to fully counteract the inertia of the plummeting ship.

Fueled by renewed urgency, Braze continued his work. The task ahead of him was complex, normally requiring specialized tools and perhaps even a droid assistant. Standard procedure would involve teams of engineers, a bank of specialized tools, and the ship's advanced AI diagnostics. But standard procedure wasn't going to cut it now; there wasnt time for that.

Time was measured in heartbeats.

With a focused sweep of his arm, more panels were ripped away by invisible Force tendrils, revealing the plethora of circuits and engine components beneath. His eyes darted over the tangle of wires and machinery; his thoughts went to the lessons he'd skipped or half-listened to. "You should have paid attention," he muttered to himself.

Pushing aside regret, he extended his fingers toward the exposed circuitry. Tiny arcs of Force energy extended from his fingertips, making connections, bypassing damaged circuits, and rerouting energy flows. It was a crude way to go about it, but conventional methods were no longer an option. His Force sensitivity served as a guide, allowing him to "feel" when circuits connected correctly or when power levels stabilized.

Taking a deep breath, he focused his enenergy and attention on the thrusters. The engines groaned and stuttered before roaring back to life on one side of the ship. Braze had engaged the thrusters on one side of the ship, hoping to alter their disastrous course. He diverted the power asymmetrically, aiming to turn the ship's nose away from the densely populated area below. A palpable change in the ship's trajectory ensued; it began to veer, the nose moving away from the city. The invisible hand he'd felt earlier, the one that was guiding the ship, seemed to strengthen for a moment.

Had he done enough? He couldn't be sure. But working in tandem with the mysterious Force presences below, Braze felt a glimmer of hope that they might avoid calamity.

Had they done enough to change the Tenacity's course and avoid catastrophe? The answer was yet uncertain. But Braze felt, perhaps for the first time, the true weight and potential of the Force--not just as a tool for personal mastery, but as a conduit for collective action.

Kahlil_Div2.png

A detonation.

Kahlil pulled the Force around himself and the others within the room to act as a barrier on instinct, not that he had to. Time and time again Cora continued to prove just how strong she was. Seeing her get washed over by the poison filled his mind with panic even despite the calm expression on his face. Again he found himself wanting to keep the Padawans away from battle, to keep them safe and protected.

Except she stood on her own. And even continued to shift the last of the poison away from the Twi'leks they had been protecting.

He laughed, mostly at his own lack of faith, as the batter around him shattered from a lack of necessity and he stepped forward to stand beside her. He lifted a hand, pulling on the Force. Parts of the tunnel, stone and rock, ripped from the walls. Condensed onto themselves into thin needles before flying for the differing gaps within the Mandalorian's armor. The gas would do nothing if the suit was still air tight, and he was fairly certain Mandalorians that used gas like this would at least keep themselves safe.

"More will come. The gas will be a problem. Don't let yourself be exposed as much as you can, but-" He paused. Part of him was still worried as ever. Cora was a Padawan. It was his duty to protect them, all of them. But she didn't need him to do so, did she?

"I don't think they have a limitless supply. Otherwise they'd just keep flooding the place. How do you feel we should handle this?"

ROLLING THUNDER
The Alliance sends their Armor to meet the Mandalorians head on....

The world was on fire.

"TRAVERSE LEFT! WE GOT A MACHINE GUN TEAM! THEY'RE ENGAGING!"

"ONE AWAY!"
"ONE AWAY!"
"I'M OUT OF HE! SWITCHING TO AP!"

"FIRE FIRE FIRE!"

"WATCH THOSE WRIST ROCKETS!"

"HIT THAT WAR DROID!"

The Tank Column was punching through the enemy lines, having broken several Enclave war droids and dug-in positions. The Lessu Streets were packed tightly, but the tanks had enough room to at least do a staggered column, and Rolin had take it upon himself to lead the column. If any traps or anything were going to get any of the tanks first, it'd be him, at least. Cannonball was constantly in his headset, advertising when he was firing a shell and where to put the gun at. Their droid brain had been shot in the lead column, a direct hit by a well-placed shot by an Enclave soldier- or at least, lucky enough to hit the hull at the right spot to fry it's power supply.

He turned his head as the tanks pressed on, being alerted via his HUD that they were approaching friendly armor. Mercenaries.

"Friendly armor up ahead, do not engage non-Mandalorian armor, they are with us. All Boxer units copy."

Each tank affirmed the message either verbally or through the command module.

He reached down to the radio module, flicking to the channel to communicate with the Hellion Troops.

"Mercenary Actual, Mercenary Actual, this is Boxer Actual, we have Six Tanks going to coming by you en route to our objective. Do not engage, I repeat, do not engage us. We have identified you and are rolling past. Can provide support if you need it, but we can't stay here long."

So far, the tank column had destroyed two walkers, two war droids, and had engaged and effectively destroyed at least a platoon's worth of infantry. A lull in the fighting occurred, and Rolin popped his head out of the hatch to get a breath of fresh air, and to survey the situation with the best optics around. His mark one eyeballs were keen observers of the situation, and he was convinced there wasn't a droid brain around that could replicate it.

The smell was awful- burning buildings, flesh, iron, steel, carbon, fuel. A world on fire.

Then, he looked up.

His eyes went wide as he saw in the distance, a ship- getting closer and closer. He had to press on, even if that thing slammed into the city. Surely the Mandalorians weren't that mad- to knock out something like that in the sky to bring it down planet-side.... right?

"I am doing this for my kids, Shai. For my family and every other family out there," Valery said, her voice strong as usual, but her eyes barely able to meet Shai's gaze. For the first time since they met, it hurt to look at Shai. Not because she feared confrontation, but because she just didn't recognize her own sister anymore. What had happened between her last meeting with the woman and now? She was supposed to talk to Kranak Vizsla Kranak Vizsla and do something about what was happening.

She was going to change things, the way she had so many times before for her people. But it just felt like a lie to her now, and Valery wasn't sure to feel saddened or angered because of it.

"I'm here because the Enclave's current path is going to tear apart this Galaxy into a new war. You might think you're dealing with rebels now and doing the right thing, but when does it end? It has already been gradually escalating. I can't allow this to continue, Shai. For my family and so many others who live in fear now." Valery stepped back so that her sister's hands fell down from her shoulders, and looked at BB-610 BB-610 with a deep frown that conveyed a lot of pain and inner turmoil. She was going to need his support to get through this.

Her hand then slipped down to her belt to retrieve the hilt of a rather familiar lightsaber to Shai.

"Remember this?" She hit the ignition switch to bring the violet blade to life. "You built it for me after my time on Kestri. After I fought for your people." She kept the blade by her side and stared Shai down with fire in her eyes.

"Stand down, Shai. Because I won't."

Zlova smirked. "Stationary target." The red woman shot forward with the blade raised overhead for a sweeping vertical cut down at Aana Xyston Aana Xyston 's head. One the Twi'lek expected to be deflected unless this dance was over before it began. "Not wise."

The basilisk moved beyond the scuffle and proceeded into an open square to secure a large part of the city. Part of urban warfare was denying your opponents from repositioning their forces however they like. Mobility could keep a rebelling force alive despite overwhelming military prowess. Best to cut that off as much as possible as soon as possible.

"Don't hold back. Show me how you really feel." Zlova danced aside with a flourish of the intact blade as her golden eyes hungrily observed her partner. "Convince me the Alliance is prepared to do whatever it takes to realize its ideals."

YOU KNOW IT

Bat out of hell.

That is what Reggie could be described as as she dove towards the city walls.

She had jumped at the chance to be onboard a ship toward Ryloth when she heard about the chaos. The Enclave had become a home to her. She may not have known the men and women who had died in Lessu, but they were still vode. Retribution had to be exacted.

She had dropped with the rest of her brothers and sisters as they got through the corridor. Had stayed with them in the descent.

Until her HUD identified someone specific on the ramparts.

She diverted without a thought.

The jetpack howled in its own right as she sped towards the man that had fueled her training and who's face was imagined in front of every target or in every sparring partner.

The AA fire was completely ignored.

She just capitalised on the howling Basilisks around her who had the same idea.
"Today you pay, shabuir."

Just as she was within range, she loosed one of the missiles in her jetpack toward the ramparts on which the Jedi Knight stood.

Vulcan had a strange, prickly feeling of Deja vu as he scouted deeper into Ryloth's jungles. On Roon, he had scattered into the jungles there and walked right into an ambush by a Sith Lord no less. Then again, he was being chased by monsters, so it was a given he'd walk into one while not becoming a prey item himself.

He escaped after a good fight, The fact he managed to walk into an ambush was a silly, rookie move and yet, it couldn't be helped he was just as green as the grass on the forest floor then. He learned from his mistakes .... sometimes.

He wasn't there to stop Shai from being Shai-napped by the Maw and he still found himself thinking about it. He can't change what happened, but he still wished he stood by her and held them off for a while.

So far the jungle was hot and damp and the foilage had become a thicket of leaves and brambles, a big mushroom the size of his head loomed from a tree trunk. It was a good place to set up an ambush, but then the Ubese had a sudden idea;

What if he set up an ambush?

Then, he can get the higher ground, he can then blast them with his flamethrower. He did read in historical records that The High Ground when used, gives you the upper hand. At least anecdotally. The last time someone lost the High Ground they came back to terrorise the Galaxy for decades.

So he made sure to keep a low profile in a bush, it was thick and leafy, good because it would keep him covered until he sprang from his ambush onto an enemy combatant. Mandalorians think both strongly and smarter at least some of the time.

The circumstances had been set in stone the moment they'd set foot on Ryloth, but even still, there existed a string of lingering hope that maybe - maybe - Shai could be convinced. He'd not known the woman to be able to judge her character, but he was well aware that Valery would stand firm with her ideals, and as such the tide of their meeting would rest squarely on the Mandalorian's reaction.

As expected an outcome as it were, it was nonetheless painful for the droid to know his hope had been snuffed out.

Pressing the side of his chassis against Valery's leg for an affectionate nuzzle, BB-610 stared, silent and pensive. It hurt him to see her upset, and despite the roaring battlefield that encompassed Ryloth's grounds, he would still be there to provide a passing comfort. He cooed, a quiet, gentle sound, layered in pity and growing sadness. The distinct hum of a lightsaber filled the air, and he didn't even need to look at the wavering glow of violet to know that their battle had been decided.

No words came from him, no bweeps of binary or soft chatterings. BB-610 knew as well as the two women before him that nobody was going to get anywhere with words and words alone. The astromech glanced up at the Mandalorian, his movements sluggish, as though to tell her that no part of him was happy with their proceedings, optic wide with welling emotion. He rolled forward, taking a protective stand in front of his Jedi, and while there remained a reluctance to engage, he wasn't about to let Valery get hurt; sooner would he die than stand idly by and watch.

All systems operational, he waited, an awful, awful feeling tugging at his circuits.

"Mother -- " Messervy spat as the Prosecutor-class bore down on the city, descent uncontrolled, firing like a kiln in the atmosphere. He skidded to a halt, jaw clenching as he did some rapid calculations in his head, quick and dirty. The loss of life if the city were fully populated would be nigh incalculable. Depending on reactor fuel levels, what kind of ordnance was on board, it could level a dozen square blocks.

It could wipe this little trio out.

He was about to suggest an alternative route -- i.e. to hightail it out of the blast range -- when Tallara issued instructions.

Nikolai knew a little about Jedi and Sith and the various other Force practitioners in the galaxy, but he had never witnessed their prowess up close. Not until Tallara -- whose status in that spectrum of Jedi to Sith to everything in between was not known to Nikolai -- stepped forward with words to the effect that she was going to do something about the ship crashing over the city.

He glanced at Mute briefly, surprised but grateful for the shotgun the Commando tossed his way. He gave a stern nod, frowning thoughtfully at the shotgun, and moved to take up the opposite position.

It happened in slow motion; it happened impossibly quickly. When he looked back over, the Commando was slinging Tallara over his shoulder. "She all right?" Nikolai asked under his breath. "Want this back, or -- probably got your hands full, huh?"

He took point as instructed and pushed forward, heading for their objective. He muttered a request to any signal intelligence or air support to fill in some of the blanks about Mandalorian positions and where they may have already pushed into the city.

LACRIMOSA DOMINAE

A behemoth appeared in real space.

Following as if on cue, a large attack line of vessels appeared behind it. All of them proudly flying Hefi and Enclave colours.

"Prime all weapons but do not engage unless ordered."

Vemric had spoken in almost bored tone as he stood in front of the viewport of the Requiem, back straight as a rod and hands folded behind him as usual as he regarded the scene in front of him as his fleet moved into formation.

Behind him, the bridge bustled as Miles, now an Admiral in his own right, relayed the order to the entire fleet.

As always, it was a beautiful sight as an entire heavy attack line's weaponry deployed but none was more imposing than the monster that was the Requiem as her great arsenal turned their faces to the blockade of what was once upon a time allies.

"Get me the commander of the Mando'ade fleet." Vemric said, glancing back slightly.
"Yes, Sir." Pol said from the comms panel as his fingers flew across it.

It had been a long time since the last time the Hefi fleet had been in a proper engagement. A lot has changed in that time. Vemric didn't know who currently commanded the Enclave fleet in Romul's abscence. Even the personnel on the Requiem had changed significantly. Miles and Pol had families of their own now. Many of the current Mando'ade didn't even know of their existence and the alliance Hefi had with Kestri. Even Verin Oldo Verin Oldo had grown old and frail. Longevity of life was sometimes a blight to the Sephi. He had outlived quite a few men and women by now while still retaining his own vigour. But still he remained stalwart. Governing Hefi and occasionally commanding its fleet was all he had left.

An outwardly cold man but still a father of a nation.

"Ready for you, Sir." Pol said, breaking through Vemric's inner thoughts. "The Tyatr'alor is Gar Shale Gar Shale , Sir." he added, checking data coming through from the Rishi Grand Fleet.
"Master Shale, this is Grand Admiral Vemric Keldra of the Hefi Grand Fleet, also known as the Governor of the same planet. We have arrived to offer support in the form of a heavy attack line. Kindly give me a sitrep of the situation." he told his ally whom he'd never met. Hopefully the man knew what he was doing. He had to be exceptional to take Oldo's place and impress the Sephi.

Vemric had just finished speaking with Gar and had accepted his reply when a ghost from the past's voice rang through the communications.
"Enclave Fleet dispatch, this is Tawnita Wren of the Mother Abbess. Tee Wren of the Mother Abbess. We have begun to engage the enemy. Clearing a path and supporting dropships. At your disposal. Happy to be tapped into tactical and follow orders."

A brow lifted significantly as Vemric looked at Miles.
"Never thought I'd hear that firebrand's voice again, Sir." he said.
"It is certainly unexpected." the Sephi said in his still bored tone before he nodded at Pol who's hands we're already flying again. "Miss Wren, this is Vemric Keldra. It is a pleasure to welcome back the Mother Abbess and assistance like yours would be appreciated. You have autonomy among us." he told her.

It had been a very long time since she had last graced the battlefield in space. It would definitely be interesting to see what happens.

"Sir, all ships are primed and awaiting orders." Miles then said.
"Good. Keep it that..."
"Sir, incoming transmission from the Hellion fleet." Pol interrupted.
:: Attention all Enclave vessels. This is Hellion Naval Vessel seven-six-four. You are trespassing upon sovereign territory. Stand down and turn back now, or we will be forced to take drastic action. ::

Vemric's brow twitched again.
"Noted." Vemric said simply and aloofly before turning back to the viewport, which Pol took as the sign to cut communication. "Keep the Flaks close to capital ships. Have squadrons ready for deployment but within the hangars. The Hellions don't make idle threats. Bolster shields." Vemric then ordered, still looking at what was unfolding in front of them.

There was little left to fear if you have seen it all.

  • Epic arrival
  • All weapons deployed and primed across the fleet and told not to fire unless ordered
  • Greets Gar Shale Gar Shale and asks for sitrep
  • Greets Tawnita Wren Tawnita Wren and gives her autonomy within the engagement.
  • Jas Katis Jas Katis dgaf about your warning bro. I raise eyebrow and ignore.
  • Keeping Flak Corvettes close to the BCs and SDs within the Hefi fleet
  • Starfighters ready to deploy when ordered
  • Someone please use a cannon, I beg you.

Droz watched in silence as he held one hand in the other in front of him, his finger lightly tapping against the trigger of his pistol. He watched and observed the Jedi's every move with intense scrutiny, gauging his method of fighting, his assets, his vulnerabilities; he was ruthless, Droz would grant him that but it was clear he wasn't some bright-eyed, foolish novice - Good. It would make the fight and the thrill of killing him all the more sweeter. By the time Kaleleon concluded their little segment of combat, Droz would raise both his arms out to his sides, making a sarcastic half-assed bow towards the Jedi as he called out to him in his native tongue.
Droz began responding in kind, " Ne shab'rud'niÖ, ad'ika. " He chuckled from beneath his helmet as he continued on in Basic, " Why not make it interesting? If I win, I blow off all these tailhead's necks off in front of you as you watch them die. You win? I let them all go free. " he casually gestured to the captured civilians with the bomb collars strapped around their necks, all cowering in fear as they held onto each other, crying, praying, trying to comfort one another as their lives were staked on this fight.
Droz's hand reached behind his back to his belt as he soon threw out several spherical devices in the space between him and Kaleleon. Even on short notice the Jedi would realize that he could not reach out with the Force to push or manipulate them away, the small spheres detonating into clouds of a barely visible haze that covered a wide area between the two. The air had been polluted by Yossubi Gas to even out the playing field as Droz raised the blaster in his other hand to fire at Kaleleon while calling out, " Show me what you can do without your fancy tricks Jedi! Give me a real fight! "

Third Jedi this month and it wasn't even Hilal's birthday. The Bounty Hunter unleashed a barrage of missiles at him attempting to put some pressure on the Jedi.

The Mando had fired on him, leaving him with no choice. What had been an attempt to allow the burning bodies to recover was now a full on duel. Andy quickly summoned up a Force Barrier to block the missiles. The explosions rocked the barrier, but he could hold firm. Quickly, he pulled out his blaster and got back on the move, using the water around him to form a sort of hoverboard under him, riding it up and away while Andy let loose a series of blaster shots aimed right for Hilal Vizsla Hilal Vizsla 's armor joints. His blaster wouldn't break through beskar, but he wouldn't need to. No set of armor was complete, and all he would need was a bit of luck.

Ryloth
Objective III - Old Friends

GAPostBreaker.png

Clay mesas and stony pathways turned into strange foliage as Cailen traveled to meet his contacts. The mission briefing was clear on their status as ‘refugees’ and ‘unarmed combatants,’ but the Padawan knew better than to assume that was the full picture. His proximity to Master Noble, and her presence on the Council, afforded him knowledge of Ryloth’s rebel cells.

Between that and stories from Master Elias Edo Elias Edo of civilian revolts, Cailen fully expected to be escorting an armed force of Twi’lek freedom fighters.

His thoughts began to wander as he walked, both hands gripping the shoulder straps of his pack and eyes on his feet. Cailen couldn’t begin to imagine what it might be like to have to fight for your homeworld like this… Anaxes was a strong Alliance world, but despite its extensive contributions to the GA’s navy, it had never been attacked. At least, not during his or his father’s lifetimes.

Fending against bullies in the scrapyards was dangerous enough, but paled in comparison to battling Mandalorians on your home front.

He was lost in his thoughts as he entered the jungle, only really looking around to confirm the holomap coordinates matched the surrounding woodlands. Cailen hasn’t sensed any immediate danger, only the heavy background noise of conflict in distant places across Ryloth. He pressed on, noting that he wasn’t terribly far from the rebels now.

All he had to do was pass through the rest of the jungle thickets.

As she approached the entrance of the building, the Vizsla heard a light thud. At the door, she paused in her tracks as a figure stood, back turned, in her direct path. It was foolishness to turn one's back on an enemy. Mevia raised her Dvalin rifle again to fire at them. - Then, she turned around. This individual was a lithe, small girl. Mevia knew perfectly well, from an adoptive family of small people, never to underestimate the little guys. This girl was adorned in armor, far from Mandalorian styling, and clenched a damning weapon in her hand.

"Your crimes stop here, Mandalorian."

"Jetii."

Mevia's answer was immediate, brief, and dripped with a venomous bitterness. From the shadows of the shop's exit, Mevia lowered her Dvalin and pulled her second rifle off her back as well. She bent down, placing the larger weapons carefully on the ground, then pushed with her foot to leap back up.

She charged directly for the Jedi. The gold clad Mandalorian unveiled her Skathe slugthrower and fired a round right for her lightsaber hand. Meanwhile, as her feet skidded and slid through the arid dirt, she fired a dart from her kneepad dart launcher towards her lower legs. Slugthrower rounds and lightsabers were not a good match, and a shot towards her feet would surely cause the Jedi to try and jump away. In rapid succession, she extended a Mandalorian Vambrace and fired a specialty vibrochord whip at her. She hoped to catch the Jedi if she moved, giving her a better chance of this third shot being successful.

If she could get that Force resistant vibrochord around that Jedi, it would be far easier to take her down.

After all, the only thing that carried these types of high and mighty people was their lucky gift of the Force. Without it, they were nothing. At least, that's what Mevia's jealousy lead her to believe...

Good Men Don't Need Rules

LOCATION: Outer Wall of Lessu
OBJECTIVE: Old Friends
OPPONENT: Droz Munin Droz Munin
WEAPONS N ARMOR: Saber | Sword | Shield | Knife | Armor

A bow, one that was clearly directed towards my ruthless endeavor to bring an end to these Mandalorians. Currently, no weapons in my hands, I was ready though. It wouldn't take much to grab the sabers, or even my shield from this distance. The sword would take a second, and we were just barely out of the 21 foot rule. He could easily get at least a shot on me. But when he gave me a set of conditions for who would win.

I didn't answer. He wanted to have fun. He wanted to play with his food. And there was no doubt in my mind, even if I had won, he may not have just so easily let them go. I had no clue how he would hold onto his word. No. Every thought of mine, was not to lose this fight. I wouldn't. I had lost too much. Given too much. I was not going to let this man go free even if I won. Nor did I believe him to hold true to his word. I had one feeling about how this would go, and I was not going to let it end in his way.

Throwing out the little aerosol dispensers, I could feel a small hampering upon me. Likely because whatever gas this was, couldn't be filtered through my helm. Something that could go right through. There was a realization, so long as this was here, our fight would be by skill and skill alone.

"Careful, too much time talking"

My own voice. Warning me that he was going to do something. As soon as the blasters came up, my left arm rose. Without a second, the shield that had been holding the now nearly dead Mando down, flung to my arm. However, not of the force. The Magnalocks were attuned to only the shield and that of my bracers. So that I could call the shield to myself even without the force. Blocking the bolts that were fired at me as his words reached me. All about the tricks I could play.

"Ive got plenty!"

Just enough of my vision was over the top of the rim of the shield. Seeing him fire at me with blaster, I closed the distance with my own physical speed. It was no basic sprint. I trained against assassins as a Padawan, I fought without the force for three years. I trained to be physically strong and fast before I could use the force. This was peak physical conditioning at its best. After the shots were fired, The shield slipped into my hand. Throwing it towards the Mando. As soon as it left my arm, the shield glowed blue as it soared across the distance. Shielding systems activated on it as it cleared the distance. Giving me some brevity.

The saber reached for physically to my hand. The azure blade igniting with its oh so familiar snap, and hum. Bringing the blade down to bear towards his hands. One of the less armored parts of the body, and possibly damaging his weaponry. If I could remove the weapons from this fight, then I would be the only one who could have a force multiplier. And eventually, the aerosol would go away. Once I got the force, It was game over for him.

Much to Hilal's surprise, the Jedi whipped out his Blaster Pistol and immediately fired at her. The bolts slammed against Hilal's armor causing her to stagger back a little but she was otherwise unharmed. "You're actually using a Pistol?!" Hilal chuckled firing back at the Jedi with a barrage of blaster fire from her autocannon. "You're smarter than the average Jedi I'll give ya that!"

And that's as much praise Hilal will give to the stinking Jedi. Well as much praise as Hilal was willing to stomach. The Bounty Hunter continued to remain in the air peppering the Jedi with as blaster fire as possible before finishing it off with another concussion missile this time aiming at his feet. He'll be placed in an awkward position, if he tries to flip out of the way, he'll be vulnerable, if he uses the Force to redirect the missile, he'll be vulnerable. Either way, the stinking Jedi is left open for a counter attack.
