DESCRIPTION
Shovels are one of the most iconic and useful items that soldiers utilize on the battlefield. They find themselves being used in dozens of scenarios ranging from their intended purpose of breaking the earth, to being used as improvised weapons. Recognizing the usefulness of combining the wide spectrum of applications into a single modular design, the Republic Engineering Corporation created the Batillum - which would act as the ultimate survival tool for both soldiers and non-combatants alike. The shovel’s handle would act as a modular container that would store a veritable bounty of various survival equipment and tools that would assist the owner in the field. The modules themselves were capable of being swapped out to change the overall size and intended purpose of the shovel, making it wholly versatile no matter the situation. Thus, the Batillum would be the perfect addition to anyone’s armoury, especially those unfortunate enough to find themselves on the frontline.
