SPECIAL FEATURES
  • Jetpack: Obvious in function. The raven wing jetpack allows the user to fly though the battlefield.
  • Death From Above: The Raven Wing jet pack’s signature wings are made of hundreds of sharpened feather like projectiles. While lacking any sort of propulsion method, once released they can be carried through the force to strike at their target.
  • Neural link: Connected to Vulpesen’s nervous system via a system of small needles, the Raven wings obey every desire of their owner, just as any other limb would.
  • Neural Protection: Recognizing the possible dangers to his own body, Vulpesen ensured that fail safes were put in place so that if the wings were overcharged or otherwise damaged, they would shut off or detach before transferring any damage to his own body.
  • Emergency Pull: Attached to the pack is an emergency string that will allow for a quick but painful release of the pack if it is shut down.
STRENGTHS
  • Combat Shield: The layers of titanium feathers, while light, does provide protection against attacks.
  • Gliding when not in flight: If the jetpack is somehow shut down while in flight, the wings will automatically lock up in a gliding position to keep the wearer from falling to his death.
  • Knives for Days: Most of the inner feathers
  • Integrated Shield Generator: The Raven Wing Jetpack includes a personal shielding device which can cast a deflector shield up the wings to provide protection against energy-based weaponry.
  • Speed of Thought: Being interfaced to the nervous system allows the Raven Wing Jet Pack to move its wings as fast as the body could move any other limb.
  • Concealable: When not in use, the wings can collapse in and fold into the center of the device.
WEAKNESSES
  • Limited Power: The Jetpack holds a charge that can last for 3 hours of flight or 30 minutes of continuous shield power.
  • Outer Shell Only: The shield generator only covers the outside of the wings, and thus any shots to the underside will ignore the deflector shield.
  • Painful: The Raven Wing Jet Pack works by a series of needles which enter the body to interface with the nervous system. Attachment and removal of these needles while not excruciating is inherently painful.
  • Balance: If one of the wings is removed, the maneuverability and control of flight may be severely affected.
  • EMP: Being hit with an EMP will cause the Raven Pack to become mostly useless. While the wings will automatically lock at full extension to allow the user to glide, they will be otherwise unable to move.
DESCRIPTION
Created to give Vulpesen a new way to maneuver around a battlefield and defend himself in combat, the Raven Wing Pack provides a mobile and protective tool in his arsenal. Given Vulpesen’s use of telekinesis and blades in combat, the inner feathers of the Raven Wings are made of sharpened titanium allow to provide a light weight material while also being detachable to offer a projectile weapon to the force user.

Once the activating button is pressed and the pack is placed on the wearer’s back, it extends a band around the wearer’s body to keep itself secure while also placing its interface needles into the wearer’s back to interface with the nervous system, though it avoids directly interfacing with the spine due to the dangers of such an area.
