STRENGTHS
- Forged Of Mandalore: This beskad has been crafted by a skilled Mandalorian smith. It is a beskar blade, with more to it than even its metal, thanks to the skilled smith. As a beskar blade, this sword is powerful and able to repel even blaster bolts and lightsabers.
- Ultimate Cutting Machine: This beskad is shaped and designed to hack and slash and slice through near anything.
- Vibroblade: The vibroblade technology within the blade allows for far sharper cutting potential than a normal blade.
- Plasma Cutter: A secret weapon. A plasma edge can be activated on the beskad, allowing it to repel the strongest attacks and to cut through solid metal.
WEAKNESSES
- Technologically Complicated: The combined inclusions of vibrotech and a plasma cutter makes for a complex and difficult to manage weapon. Sure, a talented engineer such as the weapon's crafter could learn the weapon's design, but anyone else would find it greatly difficult to perform maintenance or fix a broken part of the weapon.
- No Stabby: This beskad is purely designed to be a cutting sword. While stabbing is possible, it will not garnish the same damage results as cutting.
- Big Boom: If the tech inside the weapon's hilt is somehow damaged, the compact tech in the weapon will spark a chain reaction resulting in the weapon completely exploding.
- Overload: The plasma edge is only able to be activated in short bursts. Too frequent or long activated will overload the weapon's entire system and render both the plasma cutter and vibrotech internally fried.
- Range: Melee shortsword, meet galaxy full of vast ranged weapons. While this beskad is actually very good for throwing, it only would be a one time use. Not recommended.
DESCRIPTION
Based on the designs of beskads, vibroswords, and Chiss machinations, this sword was forged by Gwyneira Krayt for her daughter, Mevia Krayt. The weapon was developed not only with Mevia's fighting style in mind, but with tribute to her cultural influencers as well. This is a solid, fine beskad which will serve the young Mandalorian very well.
