- Primary Saber Functionality:
- Defensive Saber Style: Aids in Defensive Force Abilities, Redirecting Blaster/Energy weapons, Heavily Damaging blade to Energy Shielding, Has increased Kinetic Impact, Cools Temperament, Dual Phase functionality (Long and Short Blades).

- Like Any Before: As a lightsaber, it has superb "Cutting" power that allows one to cut through many materials with ease. Able to deflect/reflect blaster/laser weaponry, and the like.
- Weapon Ward: With the various crystals within the saber, the weapon is more easily able to reflect and deflect blaster bolts. Increasing the output for redirects that allow a standard bolt to be powered up to a heavy bolt. Secondly, the weapon can cause more damage to shielding based systems. Even should the shield be able to defend from lightsabers, it can damage it akin to being hit with Ion based weaponry, however for most shielding types. With the direct aim to "Overload" the shields or outright pierce through them.
- Functionality Improved: With Kales previous saber having quite a bit of utility functions, all of those and more are added to the saber. Preventing enemies from shutting down the saber via Water, Ion/EMP weaponry, and the like. More over, adding to it is the "Only the Worthy" clause that so many past known crystals can perform. Allowing only Kale, and those tied to him via bloodline allow him to use it.
- A Beacon of Light: Like any kind of weapon heavily influenced by the force, It is very easily found through the force should one be looking for it. Even should the weapon be "inactive" or not being used, it still has a presence that can be felt. The ONLY way of being able to hid it is by entering a force nullification field. However, that has its own disadvantages.
- Tethered: As with any item tied to the force, The lightsaber, Aranrúth is reliant on being connected to it. Should this connection weaken or be severed, the weapon will not function. While this functionality only prevents the usage of the primary saber, the secondary one can still be used as a backup. However, this effectivly cuts "weapon power" in half.
- Darkest Defense: The lightsaber can defend against the Dark side of the force. Preventing lethal blows to the user should they have the saber active, and be channeled, using the weapon as a conduit. However, this defense does not defend against other abilities or users who would otherwise not be of the Dark Side. This effectiveness varies from person to person. As a "neutral" force user may have it weakened but not stopped, while a Jedi's would not be hindered at all.
Since his induction into the Jedi, as well as the wider galactic map, Kale has fought many foes who he would have never even had within his nightmares. The Brynadul, the Brotherhood of the Maw, Sith, Death Cultists, Rakgoul and even Zombies. A host of legendary tales if there was any. Despite this, Kale has kept with him for that time, a saber which he had been instructed upon to wield. One that in its initial creation, was supposed to be an aid. A Lightsaber that would be for all intents and purposes, a starting cast of what he would be able to use as a weapon against these foes that threaten peace, or the lives of innocents within the galaxy.
However, due to unforeseen circumstances, the attempted defense of Csilla was met with Kale having a fight for his life. Leaving behind a companion who perished due to providing the ultimate sacrifice, as well as losing his saber in an attempt to leave the planet. Teaming up with Chiss forces for a short while, only to be called into a retreat.
It is with this loss upon him, that he sought out to really question himself Really question all that he had stood for.
Creating and using this saber, is an inkling of hope that maybe, it was all for not.
