Rebellion Rebellion | Fires over Kesh - The Bryn'adûl v The Kesheri Imperium

Objective B: Assault on Gyn
Location: Eastern Marisota River
Forces: 8 Brute Companies, lead by 2 Captains, 8 Majors (320 Total) / 320 Skags / 800 Drones (Direct Control) / Initial Air Support
Armaments:
Brutes: Barad Armour, Wendigo Spiker, Glaive / Spike Rifle (Majors)
Drones: Wendigo Spiker, Daggers, Claws

________________________________________________________________________

Soon after the mounted brutes descended toward the western line, Hrajlmak and his drones followed. Many of the phedrak's had been taken out of the skies, weakening the strafe. Once the skag's got near, turbolaser batteries began to open fire on them. Hrajlmak felt a pang of anxiety. But his fears were short lived. Ra'mak war beasts burst through the cloud and smoke of the upper atmosphere and began to unleash hell on Gyn's emplacements. Firepower from the turbolaser's was quickly reduced. They had three different targets to focus on and many were being destroyed. Had the brutes been travelling any slower, perhaps artillery would have posed a significant threat.

The trenches were quickly overwhelmed. From a distance, Hrajlmak could see the men and women so desperately defending their home being trampled and impaled by spikers. Once across the line, the brutes moved on to the secondary trenches, leaving the frontlines for the Shaman.

Blaster bolts quickly began to shred the approaching drones. One after the other they crumpled. Tripping over tumbling corpses. Hrajlmak was further from the front, his height allowing him to blend with the others. They closed the gap quickly, the screams and shouts of the defenders now audible. Hrajlmak leaped from among'st his army and came crashing into the trench. A primitive roar escaped his chest as he spewed cleansing flame from his palm down one length of the trench. He turned to face the opposite length to see his drones spilling over the top, ripping its soldiers apart with gun and claw.

Hrajlmak moved swiftly and began to work his way down the trench. He activated his Malabast staff, its curved scythe-like blade at the top bursting into existence as he drove it into a Keshiri sternum. The look of agony and fear on its victim feeding the Shaman's hunger for violence. He kicked the corpse from his staff and swung the shaft into another's head. It burst open and slammed lifelessly into the fortified trench wall. Blaster fire, mud and viscera gave the trench its own weather. Desperate screams and terrible roars bounced off the walls.

With reckless abandon, the Servitor plowed, chewed and grinded itself a way through the underground, but even though Hraelga was in awe of this beast, the fact that she had hardly any Shamans, let alone a high ranking one aiding her meant she had to do her outmost best not to anger the beast and merely allow it to roam as it pleased, luckily though, it seemed to feel the presence of another, much larger and more powerful member of its kin and Hraelga knew enough to know who or what it was the servitor she was riding on was responding to. She herself had only seen the massive beast once in her life, but just it's presence was enough to make her cower both in fear and awe; Hadad, mightiest of Servitors.

By sheer luck though, it seemed that Hadad was nowhere near the Marauder's current location, a few miles away perhaps, which was a good thing. After all, a bit too close and that magnificent beast might've swallowed up the entirity of her forces, herself and perhaps even the one servitor under her command as but a light snack. However at the same time it was at the very least close enough for the servitor to feel it's presence and act more docile than normal. "Allright, I think we're far enough, up we go beastie," It took some effort, but the servitor seemed to comply, it's path turning upwards towards the surface. It didn't take long for the ground to rumble quite heavily and streets to start cracking and even partially sinking into the ground as the Servitor moved slowly upwards, until it broke through the ground with a thunderous rumble, it's teeth gnashing the duracrete and durasteel unlucky to be in its path to mere dust and debris.

An opening had now been made near the western ends of the city of Gyn, with Hraelga and her hounds dropping down on the nearest building to oversee their location, the marauder could only smile at the sight of the spikes jutting out of the ground a few miles away. It was indeed Hadad's handywork all over there. As soon as the Servitor she rode burried itself back into the ground, it made way for the swarm of hungry drones pouring out of the tunnel.
"Time for this farçe to end, glory to the Bryn'adûl!!"

This was not the first battler Ra had been in nor would it be the last. She was the one that alerted some of her friends to this encounter. There wasn't anything she was after for herself here and only wanted to help an old friend. Something she did know was that this was the first true war the Dragons would be in. Perhaps some of them had been in wars previously, but not together like today.

When Mike started his transmission, she turned on the device in her hand and lifted the faceplate from her helmet. That was they could know who was speaking to them. Listening to what he said, he put her in charge of their movements and actions.

Blinking slowly, she almost wanted to strangle him. She wasn't some sort of military commander. She was a merchant by trade and a leader of a movement against the Sith. Today, she was here with allies and helping a friend. Taking a calming breath, she nodded after one more blink.

"Yes, I am here. Mainly we are here to help defend the city. As you can see, there are monsters headed this way."

Stoping in her words, she gazed out and allowed the others to see what she saw.

"Our job here is to keep them out of this city. How you do that is up to you."

Mike tried to direct everyone’s focus to him. He did not really have a plan. For now, they needed to regroup with Salis that is, currently, fighting in the mountains.

“So,” said Mike. “First objective. Regroup with Salis in the mountains. When we meet up, we will protect the mountain pass. Any questions? If not, get into your fighters and go ahead to land onto the planet. Is there any questions before we start? Lazyrith?”

Charging throughout the forest, the Brutes of the 10[SUP]th[/SUP] ignored any pretence of stealth or subtlety and merely charged forth, a stampede of Baedurin flesh that threaten to crush any that stood before them. Bones were splintered and bodies pulverised as they charged back through the remains of the skirmishes that they had taken part in, firefights that seemed to have been only moments ago. Leaping into the air, some of the mighty warriors swung up into the boughs of the trees, crashing heavily back down as the unit maintained their cohesion, pursuing the trail of the Shaman.

Skidding to a halt at the treeline, a vision of new prey greeted them all as the blackened smoke that was the trademark of the shaman was cut through by a glowing blade within its depths.

A Lightsaber. Finally, a chance at real prey.

Just beyond were a group of bizarre, mechanical warriors, their red armour the colour of freshly spilled blood, their heavy artillery firing into other Byrn'adul warriors. Roaring, Fomoris waved his claws to the others before charging forth, slowly advancing as they fired their Bryn shots into the amassed lines, the grenades arcing over the battlefield towards the droid’s position, laughing wildly as the moved forward to support the other Brutes and their commanding Shaman.

The thought of getting to match up against another of the force-users was almost too much and the massive Baedurin’s tusks dripped with anticipation, his tongue salivating at the possibility. But, Bazh'Thu Bazh'Thu had first claim to the battle and recently he had experienced first hand what getting involved in a battle between a senior Byrn'adul and their prey. Roaring, he began to fire further salvos into the droids, content that his time would come.

Alwine looked at the two men standing next to her. One had his arms around her, the other was full of glass, and somehow both of them were talking about getting their hands on her when a next time happened.

Was this flirting?

Was this courting?

Her cheeks turned a crimson red and she slapped Dexter's hands away, frowning in anger. "I am not some damsel in distress that requires saving at every turn!" she snapped at the man who, to be fair, probably did not deserve it. "And or your information-"

But she did not get a chance to finish her sentence. Before the words were out of her mouth, a series of black spikes rose from the ground, tearing the street cobbles aside fron the sheer strength of it. They reached at least eight floors up before retreating back into the ground.

Alwine swallowed.

"I believe it went that way," she spoke a moment later, and then pointed at another street, "let us run through there instead and pray it helps us avoid whatever that was."

Her eyes were already searching for trees and flowers planted around the city for decoration.

Objective: B – Lower the City’s Shield Generators.
Equipment: Weapons
Current Location: Kesh, Gyn, outside of the City. Northeast, in the Marisota river.

The cool water felt good, but none of it could reach her skin properly. Her crystalline crust glistened as she slithered her way through the dark, murky water. She swam beneath the waterline, she could hear it. The distant booms of artillery, the dull, low thuds of spikers. A chorus of death and woe had begun in earnest, and Hiskt would not be found wanting. Though unneeded, for the defenders would fall eventually, for a speedier victory, the City’s shield must fall, and its defences laid bare.

Every now and then, she rose up above the water, taking a brief glance at the route before her. The City loomed closer. Firefights raged all around, or perhaps just in concentrated areas. She wasn’t sure. The vibrations through the water and the brief glimpses she got made it hard for her to gauge the scale of the fighting.

She soon found herself by the city itself. She stopped swimming, gazing up at the walls, the docks, the towers that seemed to stretch their hardest toward the sky, filled with battling ships. She swam closer, gripping at the very edge of the building. She waited. A patrol passed by. She numbed the sounds of her crawling as she gripped her way up into the air. She didn’t know how many there were, or if they were expected. The patrol wasn’t a required kill. They’d die anyway, so let them keep the last day of their meagre existence.

She was, of course, briefed on the existence of the shields. There were, at least according to her knowledge, around three of them. She but had to find a vantage point to identify their location. She brought herself up to solid ground, moving on all fours to reduce visibility. She became a dark blur as her form was shrouded using the force. She bounded over to one of the buildings, speeding herself up and jumping onto its side, crawling up the building toward higher ground.

When the warning came from Drek'ma, the Shamans on their side had already sensed the threat and the fleets warning came late. Luckily, those on the ground reacted quickly as the Quilxyn changed the structure of their shield, ascending into the air as they calculated the specific trajectory of the remaining warheads with the help of the fleet, focusing their shield strength into specific areas high above.

When the Phedrak cleared, they'd taken out more than half of the missiles overhead but they'd also lost almost all of the two-thousand Fighters sent off to deal with them. The Brutes below were nervous, but none moved. They stared up into the sky, watching the descent of the missiles as they came crackling down in the few fractions of a second that they did.

One Brute moved, flinched more like - Galak placed his hand on his chest, stopping him without even looking. He could feel his heart beating almost as hard as the warheads were descending, if he died here, he was glad he was with his kin. He turned his head, seeing Tathra staring directly up at them - Galak looked again and closed his eyes. The sounds of the explosions were deafening, the sky blanketed with colour and the residual heat washing over them. His eyes opened, half of the shields had dissipated but everything was left intact.

"Shamans! Pull back the drained Quilxyn until they've healed! Orders, Sire?"

Ahead the Savage Drones curtailed around the enemy forces, halting at the shield wall as those who had not made it inside were cut-down outside its walls. The Savage things would all gather around the Shield wall, standard Drones behind them. The Rhivaks finished off whatever was left in the trenches, the outer defences beyond the Shield seemingly abandoned and destroyed.

The jerking of the starship almost made Gilaad lose his balance within the cockpit. Both hands grasping the side of the doorway he found the crushgaunts digging into and even bending the metal somewhat as he was forced to cling on for dear life. For as great a pilot PX was the droid seemed to care little for comfort of its other occupants. Once while chasing a fleeing bounty Gilaad had been in bounced around the ship like a bolo-ball.

So worried about his own safety the Mandalorian couldn’t even think of a quip to shoot back at the cyborg they kept in the back of the ship. Thankfully PX had his back, the odd quirky look that the droid shot his direction though was something the hunter could never get used to. The droid almost seemed to have a personality more developed than a human. Just who had built such a creation? Out of all the people in the Ragnar Syndicate PX was the one Gilaad trusted most, but also slightly feared having to engage.

" Which does explain the situation you had last we visited Zeltros."

It was that last sentence that stood out. That ate at the fear of any red-blooded Mandalorian man. Gilaad felt as though the deck had dropped from beneath his feet. Part of the reason was that it actually did due to the steep dive PX took. The other due to a more personal reasong. Staring in utter disbelief at the droid, mouth agape Gilaad felt red climb his cheeks. A sense of his stomach tightening. ‘How the kark does Px know about Zeltros?! Did he find the pills?! Oh Kark! I don’t even know where the pills are!’ Eyes darting and heart rate increasing Gilaad removed his hat replacing it with the helmet of his armor. A faint hiss could be heard as it sealed protecting Gilaad’s dignity.

“We’ll discuss this later PX, get geared up. We’ll let the droid brain take over for now. We’re going to be jumping in hot anyways.” With that the warrior left the cockpit, fearful of looking back and seeing what expression the droid had managed to concoct. The helmet had been placed on just in time too as he broke out into a sweat. Passing by Arador as he made his into the armory the Mandalorian began lifting numerous weapons off of racks. Pistols slid into holsters or clung onto the armor, a rifle magnetically attached to his back, and oh so many knives and grenades. This was the hunt of a lifetime and the dar’manda had no plans on entering the battlefield unprepared for any eventual encounter. The final piece of the puzzle being the large verpine shattergun. A backpack soon followed shrugged over his shoulder a belt of ammunition connecting it to the weapon.

Between the enhanced strength due to the exoskeleton, he wore beneath his armor, and the crushguants Gilaad strolled out the armory holding the weapon as though it were a toy. Stopping at Arador and nodding towards the landing ramp Gilaad motioned for the other hunter to take the lead. “We're jumping in, hope that's not too scary for ya. I understand if you want to sit this one out and stay with the ship though.”

Khan grabbed the overhead railing as he felt the ship shift and rock as the vessel was fast approaching Kesh, muttering under his breath about how he was gonna kill whoever taught their pilot how to fly. He slid his foot over the metal floor as he widened his stance to keep his balance while using the magnetic locks on his boots to keep him firmly rooted in place. He'd rest his free hand on his belt as he waited for them to hurry up and get off the ship.
Gilaad would take his sweet time getting to the rest of them as they fast approached the surface to disembark. He'd glance over to Gilaad once he finally arrived in the hold with the rest of them as he glanced out the viewport to the planet, his gear already locked in place and weapons in their holsters, " About damn time you showed your ugly mug here. Was beginning to think you got cold feet. " Khan would let out a vocoded cackle as he made his way to the landing ramp as he hit the controls once they were in drop range. A rush of air would fill the interior of the transport as he turned his head back, " Sit this one out and miss all the fun and credits that come with it? Fat chance. " He'd pause as he glanced back towards the ground before speaking, " Speaking of fat - fat one's yours. "
Khan reached down as he grabbed a blaster in each hand as he pulled them out of their holsters and took off with a running start, leaping out as he let gravity take him down to the surface below. A quick spin in the air as his thrusterpack and repulsor boots flared to life served to reorient the hunter and slow his descent as he arrived on the ground, landing on his feet as he raised a hand up to his head as his comms activated, " Got an idea which way the fat bastard we're looking for is? "
A growl would be heard over his shoulder as the Arkanian hunter turned around to see a lumbering brute as they swung a fist as if to hit him on the head like a hammer and nail. The hunter sidestepped to avoid the blow as he pressed the barrel of his blaster pistol into their chest, firing a few rounds at point-blank that sent the creature stumbling as Khan planted his foot on their chest, firing a few rounds into their face before speaking once more, " Not that fat bastard. "

"I would love to say that ugly looking thing is ours....but that's monster..." "Kid... what are you doing here? You should be evacuating with the others." Sor-Jan Xantha Sor-Jan Xantha She would say, trying to sound gentle and maybe caring..... but her voice changer simply sounded cold and ordering.

Turning back to Schereazde as she mentioned ripping up the ground and Leo would shrug.
"I don't care what makes him happy or mad... He wants his home.... streets can be rebuilt.... Tear it up." Leo would say moving over to assist..... They needed a hole... Taking her canon down from her shoulder.
The high pitch whirl of it powering up would come as Leo slotted in the heavy packing rounds. Taking up her stance she would aim at the ground, letting rip with her cannon, launching high powered blasts into the ground, sending dust, dirt, rock and debris everywhere.
Within seconds the groaning sound of earth cracking and shifting started and the jagged circle Leo made would crumble to dust in the aftermath of the worms hole, shattering loudly as the large drop down echoed in the tunnel below.
Leo would power down blowing her cannon mock blowing it before looking to the others around her.
"Well, we have a hole to die in atleast.... Who's ready?" She'd as tapping a switch in the hidden crevice of her armor, lighting up her visor so the others would be able to see under ground.

Well. War. War is Hell and Aeizori isn't a soldier, but today she has to be. She is tasked to gather as many civilians as she can and lead them over to the spaceports in order to try to get them off planet before the battle above is lost. So far, everything has been going along fine, and her little group of seven soldiers have been moving to gather small groups. Its easier to not be noticed that way and such. These earthquakes and explosions and sounds of war are starting to get the better of her. Wait, Earthquakes? Weird.

Though, as they walk around, she spots a child. A crying child. Aeizori quickly heads towards him. "Hey, where are your parents?" The boy shrugs and sobs. "I, I don't know. They were here and now they aren't..." "Don't worry. We'll find them." And Aeizori goes over to pick him the boy and put him into her arms. So now the group of seven soldiers and two civilians continue to head towards the nearest spaceport, all while checking houses and buildings for those that need to get off world.

He'd turn squarely away from the spikes following the Alwine's lead.

In orbit -

Captain Krald continued to oversee the naval combat, leading the fleet of Battlecruisers that had arrived from Eadu; their Ballista's cracking through enemy shields - thousands of massive spikes tearing their enemy fleets ships apart. They'd annihilated nearly half of their vessels already, however the firing of the warheads towards the surface was a desperate move. This had caught Krald's eye, even more so when their Fighters began to return to their larger vessels. Something was amiss, their enemies were planning something.

Krald instructed his crewmen to scan the vessels, noting the increased power of their hyperdrives. The whole fleet was alerted, they were going to jump, but this vicious fighting - the sheer desperation, the instinct to survive so dearly clung to. When they disappeared, the fleet came to a full stop as they attempted to get into communication with the planetary forces. Ever from orbit, they could see the explosion of the warheads. However Kral knew, if anyone could survive - it was him. Their trick caught the Bryn'adûl Battle-Cruisers off guard, only a moments notice was given via scans as the Keshiri Fleet appeared behind them.

However, the Bryn'adûl forces had moved in adjacent groups for a reason and before a shot could be fired the twelve Battlecruisers of the Invasion Force were alongside the fifty deployed by Tathra. However, they turned their weapons on the enemy, focusing on their heavier ships as the thousands of Phedrak Fighters would target their Fighters, the Phedrak were fodder - but thousands made the skill of flight inconsequential.

The Ra'maks swerved around easily, turning to engage the enemy fleet, focusing on their Carriers with tri-beams of solar-ionization, capable of melting through their hulls as the Keshiri opened fire on the Battlecruisers. The fighting took two of the vessels, disabling them both and killing the space-faring beasts attached, however the rest of the fleet began to turn around; their synthetic shields soaking up a lot of the much smaller fleets limited firepower, it seemed as though their fleet was searching for something, but there was no Capital Ship to find - nor did the Bryn'adûl care for theirs..

Behind, concussive miles and torpedoes killed several Debauchers whilst the rest headed towards the fleet, two of the Debauchers would land on the orbital shipyards left behind, Aurora and Rendilli and would begin draining them of their energy whilst the others continued onward. It wouldn't be long before the fleet was firing on the Keshiri once more. Their death would be inevitable, and Captain Krald would see it done, or so he thought.

Something grasped from the cold, some strange cosmic energy pulled and twisted at the Captain - some dark energy made his bones like rubber, skin pale and white as he collapsed, weak - too weak. His position was taken over by another Baedurin officer, but Krald was once of their best.

Planetary -

On the surface, the fighting continued as Rhivaks and Brumaks annihilated the outer defences alongside the Savage Drones betwixt, when the Drones themselves joined the fray - the Keshiri Forces had no option but to retreat now. Tathra called for a halt, they had retreated beyond the Shield and those that remained outside simply became mulched gut underfoot. Thousands of Phedrak Fighters whipped around overhead, and it seemed as though the combat had halted for a moment. A dead silence shrouded over the battlefield, the only sound, the distant rumblings of the Servitors and the sounds of vessels and beasts.Tathra turned to Galak, achoring his massive form in their direction. Now having the attention of the other leading members of the 10th Regiment. The Warheads and their explosive result overhead was the move of desperation, of the cowardly and weak. They wished to hide behind their technological terrors. The stench of fear and death filled every corner of the continent.

"10th, to the Shield!"

Alongside the 10th Regiment, the Titan waltzed among the dead and his own kin. Opaque eyes made contact with the Shield wall, left hand holding the Axe slung over his shoulder by the mid-length. When he was among them, every Drael stood a head taller - the air evaporated in a vacuum by his presence, heat and strength radiating through the quaking ground with every step. Ahead were a secondary line of defences, no more competent than the last. Only now there were fewer. The Chieftain saw nothing but scared Humans - albeit slightly more organised; he snorted, unimpressed.

Turning away as he raised his gauntlet; "Ra'maks, reposition. Destroy the City defences. Drek'ma, release these Servitors to my Shamans here, focus on Hadad."

The end of Kesh was near, throughout the city; Serivitors tore through entire blocks of city infrastructure uncontested, sinking them into the earth as Hadad begun the process of sinking the entire city. The Marauder Nacht lead a flanking force whilst Sarask moved to target the Generator. The fifty eight Ra'maks had dwindled in number, losing three of them to the Droid attack. None the less, the Ra'maks would divide their attention now - the fifty-six that remained would begin to bombard the new defence with their cannons, their blasts bypassing the shield as all six-hundred and seventy-two of their Modular cannons would rain down solar ion fire on the Defences, melting anything it touched into slag.

Underground, the two Servitors Drek'ma had dispatched to the front lines would begin to sink the more fortified bunkers from underneath. The twin
M'gaelak Siege Towers would deactivate their shields, slowly entering the City through the shield. The Savage Drones would slowly move through as well alongside the Rhivaks and Brumaks, in the middle of their forces the Drones would acts meat shields as the Brutes of the 10th Regiment would now move inward, once on the other side their Grenadiers firing off blasts from their Bryn Shots whilst the others took fire with their various Spiker weaponry.

Tathra would move at the head of the 10th Regiment, once through the Shield wall - his Axe lowered, igniting in a glorious fluorescent red, molten vapour that trailed after every movement of the Axe's beard. Empowered by the presence of their Chieftain, the Brutes of the 10th would fight with vigour, strength and skill unseen among the Drones. Rhivaks leapt into the enemy trenches, intent on brutalising infantry.

This planet, and its defenders were but playthings before the Titan.

Rushing to the position of the heathen warrior from within the heart of the Keshiri wood lands, the Baedurin minions howled, their thoughts encapsulated in the daemonic haze that came from their new Master. Their Verikast metallic plate armours' sabaton pounded upon the forest floor, the fertile soil crushed beneath their monstrous feet. With their Wendigo Spikers out of ammunition, the Brutes brought out their bladed weapons to match the lone bladesman. The Drael Warriors firmly glided their Barad Glaives within their gauntlets, hoisting the teeth of their blades upward, to the direction of the enemy. With the intention of cornering their much-smaller enemy using the length of their weapons, they circled their newly-found prey with a haunting passion for its Death.

" Begin. "
Swathed in turbulent ardor, the Baedurin charged towards their enemy, as they attempted to land a strike unto the warrior lass's body with their glaives. Massive in size and structure, their gargantuan bodies were forged for conventional warfare and , being able to be as swift as a regular human. Although being gifted with such physiological advantage, the Brutes' bodies tend to be more inflexible, a specific infirmity in which may be used by enemies to their advantage. Under the wrathful shrouds of their Master's visage, the Drael Warriors' minds had become much more barbaric and savage, lusting to snatch the life out of their measly prey.

The infernal shadow unhurriedly descended from the forest trail, upon the sight of his Baedurin minions. Bazh'Thu, the Shaman Beast Master. His sole presence continuously strengthened the Drael warriors' ever-lasting desire for war and bloodbath. The colossal fiend slithered unto the rustling leaves, and unto a series of boulderstones. His armour was carefully constructed of the rotting flesh and bones of his now-fallen enemies. From its deep crevices, the ebony haze appeared, condensing the forest area with its presence. Upon the rocks, the Beast Master taunted the out-numbered warrior lass, and pounded his Malabast staff-mace upon the stone's platform in a repeated motion. In an act of intimidation, Bazh'Thu let out a prolonged and intense bellow that resounded across the arboreal lands as his minions enclose their enemy.

The encircled formation of the Brutes of the Tenth Regiment slowly closed in, the tip of their spears directed to their hunt. The heathen swordsman fashioned herself with her pagan sabre, crimson in colour. The warrior wielded it as of a double-edged quarter-staff, parrying the Drael warriors' heavy blows with utmost grace, as Bazh'Thu watched from a nearby distance, seemingly impressed of the heretic's swordsmanship. Rising through the winds, the warrior lass swiftly cut down the flesh of an unwary Baedurin warrior, tearing manically toward the enemy., splitting its neck horizontally in the process. The befallen warrior knelt unto the ground, the rift between his chest-plate and helmet charred from the blade's strike. Another Brute attempted to retaliate against the warrior lass, but to no avail, fearing that the heretic's blade will plunge into his flesh. much like his perished comrade.

As the lass descended in the center of the Brutes' formation, the Drael warriors simultaneously tightened to ensure that their prey would not escape their grasp. They surrounded the lone bladesman, with their glaives resting within their hands. The warrior lass may have been fortunate to strike down one of their Draelvasier kin, but it shall not happen once again. Mustering their battle-spirits, the Brutes let out a cruel war-cry, their throats shrieking endlessly, loaded with vengeance. Their Verikast armour stood modest chance against the continuous strikes of the heretic blade, being coated with pure Barricas oil. This. however, disabled them to move freely, in contrast with the swifter motion of the fighter. With an apparent feat of utter war-finesse, the heathen lass chose to leap unto the Brutes' chest-plates, disorienting their vision with her lunatic, yet deceitful acts. Out of an uncontrollable feat of rage, another of the Baedurin warriors erratically stormed the warrior lass. In the process of doing so, the heathen lifted the attacker up in the air, crushing the Drael's windpipe, crimson fluid flowed out of its gaping mouth.

" Fear me not, warrior lass.
I shall purify thy sins with ease. "

The diabolical Shaman telepathically communed with the heathen through his connection to the Cosmic Force, delving within her thoughts. With an attempt to torment her crazed mind, Bazh'Thu reached out to his heretic enemy in common tongue. In years of seclusion, the Beast Master had heedfully studied their idolatrous language, his solitary aim focused in wielding it for the downfall of Weakness that resided in the worlds. Overseeing the skirmish between his minions and the lone bladesman, Bazh'Thu's mountainous figure eclipsed the noon's sunlight, as it pierced through the grim wood lands. As he examined the arboreal lands, his instinctual thoughts felt an unusual presence, and soon heard an indistinct buzzing noise from the distance. Bazh'Thu unwound the Draelvasier runic tablet, pouched from his iron cuisse, as the Beast Master signal;ed the remaining Brute Grenadiers on hostile reinforcements' impending arrival.

Mig looked over to Reyn, a little behind the kid, but more so because he was trying to use his blaster than anything.

"Yeah Ad! Just trying to keep them from coming." He had followed his Nephew up to higher ground. He was really starting to hate these things. It was almost like they didn't know how to die. Either way, he was doing his best, using the gun of his Trayc'kad and Force Lightning to keep the Bryn at bay. Then Reyn did something stupid. He leapt into the enemy. "Osik he's his father's son." It was then that he got a familiar sense.

Servitors. He didn't know that was their name, but he knew what they could do. He'd seen them on Eshan. Mig ran back some, being sure he was far enough away and in cover. He looked over at a Stormwolf. "Hold them back!" He then closed his eyes and focused. He let arcs of electricity leave his hand directly into the ground. The Mando'ad'jetii focused, letting the energy flow towards the massive life force he couldn't miss. He'd send enough electricity into the thing to kill a Rancor a hundred times over. It'd be draining, but maybe it would stop the beast.

Alot had transpired, the death of his men, the blood staining the ground and the coming rain of fire stopped completely. Solan stared and his hands twisted to bring the saber he held up, the enemy continuing to come into the trenches now and his saber cleaving through another as a round from their guns sliced past his left arm, blood running down it as the shadows he summoned up reached out and tore the drone apart. Solan was breathing heavily, his eyes filled with nothing but an obsidian color now as his skin seemed to peel away from his face. He watched as his men fell back through the shield to the second trench line. Solan looked up at the fighters, thinking on the matter before his own feet carried him behind the shield and he watched as what he thought was their leader came forward.

A smile grew on his face, his hand, twisting in the dark reached down, grabbing the comm as his men settled into the second trenchworks, thousands of droids leveling their weapons at the enemy forces as the eastern front fell into a hard defense. Cannons, missile launchers, turbolasers ready and the serpents who could pierce through shields took up their positions. Solan would not let them shoot unreacted to as he started speaking.

"Open the gates on my command, fire into the larger clusters with the screechers, tear up as many of them as you can. Soldiers lay down a wave of fire as quickly as you can, I want to see nothing but blaster and slug fire. Usurpers, Hyperions, Jerichos, blast those fighters and serpents out of the sky..." He paused, looking on at the skies and grinning wider.

"Oh, and bring in the big guns." Was all Solan would say, his eyes focusing on Vulpesen Vulpesen 's presence and then looking for any others as he reached out with the force, his hand twisting the force and he held it out in front of him, focusing on the batteries, ammunition, everything that the enemy now stood among. He then stopped, his eyes turning and sensing the mayhem going on in the city itself. There were still thousands of soldiers and reserve vehicles that can deal with those worms... instead, there was something more that needed to be used.

After a minute, that long minute and the Ra'mak's would start firing, trying to take out defenses without question, something would happen that the enemy would likely not have expected, the sky shifting above the defenders as the shield started to dissipate and the moment holes appeared, the defenders would fire, machine guns, cannons, artillery all let loose on the now very open to strike enemy. But that was not all, there was also the air wings from the city, Rendili Fighters streaming out to attack the remaining fighters now that the shield did not impede their movements or leaving. And in addition, the Umbra class dropships came out of hiding, their missiles and guns turned on the attacking forces, blasting fighters out of the sky or laying strafing runs of their own on the larger monsters. Concussion missiles slamming into the hides of those who presented the biggest targets.

Solan himself stood there, refocused and his smile widened as he breathed out and raised his hand, snapping his finger. In a moment, the ammunition, the cannon rounds not yet fired, downed droids with power sources, all of it had become a minefield for the enemy as Solan exercised his will and detonated power sources, explosive solutions, anything that was around the enemy. His leg failed as he came to one knee and he cried out as strips of his flesh tore away from his face, like paint being stripped from the wall. He would not stop though. His hand tightened on the saber in his hand as he forced himself back to his feet, pointing his saber out at the enemy and shouting.

"NOT ANOTHER INCH, KILL THEM ALL!"

And with that command, one last thing appeared, kept in reserve. They were not the only ones with big toys as colossal walkers, a pair came forward, slamming aside a few of the outlying buildings that had been hiding them and massive mass driver cannons aimed at the enemy's own great beings. It was a sound like that of a bomb when the mass drivers fired, the fire spit as the guns on the walker fired at air and ground forces. The projectiles from the main guns of the IHAW Walkers soared through the air, aiming for their two biggest beings, aiming to take down the enemy as the shots would not come again for a few minutes. But these walkers would be given more than a few minutes, they would have well into the night as the sun finally began to set.

Alexandra was quiet as she cut through the closest drone, her blade cutting free as she stepped back and shook her head. Such vile creatures being able to walk among life made her sick. The beings were bred for war and to bring death, and that alone, her eyes staring down at the creature before focusing on her surroundings again. The Eastern front had fallen back, and she heard the command for the shields, meaning the gates would be open in but a moment but she was not quite done yet. Her hand twisting the blade in her hands, leveling it and cutting through another drone as she made her way through the trenchworks.

She was looking for something, someone, a commander, a controller for the beasts as she searched for a presence stronger in the force. Her blade coming in contact with another as one of the much larger creatures punched past her overhead, tearing into an artillery droid and ripping it to pieces in the charge. Several others turned their guns on the creature, laser fire and solid rounds punching into the creature's hide to take it down as Alexandra watched for a moment. A detonation brought her back though as the shields started to fall apart and gunfire from the second trenchworks tore over the open ground, shredding into drones or slamming hard into the larger creatures.

Alexandra had her target though as she focused in on the largest presence, looking for the creature she sensed. Her feet kicked up dirt as she moved through the primary trenchworks, her hand moving and cutting through any drones unlucky enough to be in close quarters with her. The metal blade cleaving through in some cases as she made her way and then found what she was looking for. The desperate screams interrupted as Alexandra pressed past some of the surviving soldiers, pushing up and finding her target.

Without a word she reached out, her hand leveled and a blast of force energy sent right into Hrajlmak's side. Whether it would do anything didn't matter, it was getting the being's attention that Alexandra cared about. The fighting above and around the trenches provided nothing more than a backdrop for now as commanders took over their job.

Dropships flew by overhead, finally let loose to do their job as the sound of guns and missiles coated the battlefield, but that was a symphony of sorts for the small focus that the spotlight drew to.

"Hello, how about you surrender, that would make this easier."

Explosions, so many damn explosions from both sides. Among their forces, dozens of unmanned turrets and left over vehicles seemingly exploded among their Vanguard - killing dozens. Luckily, they'd destroyed most of everything they came across otherwise there would have likely been more. Screecher missiles battered down on their Drone Battallions, killing hundreds. It was a choke point, but they're stiffly held position would be a mistake. He'd felt the movement of the Servitors underground, no doubt the beasts would turn this into quite the bloodbath.

However, even against the battering of blasters - the Brutes moved forward, using Impact Grenades to trap or block infantrymen in their trenches, using it to set up impromptu cover as well as the Grenadiers turned their trenches into bomb capsules, filling them with explosive firepower from their Bryn Shots. The massive Brute warriors of the 10th Regiment had faced worse numbers than this. Their weapons, every shot could take a life - the foot-long molten needles tearing into the enemy as their blasters clacked almost harmlessly against their armour, though it still stung. The designated Heavy Brutes fired with their RAW's into the trenches, a sea of spike-fire raining from their massive weapons.

Underneath the enemy fortifications - hundreds of metres of earth would be torn open, turned into sink-holes by the two Servitors turning the earth into food. One of the Servitors screamed, jetting up through the ground, half of its two-hundred metre long body exposed as lightning caused its muscles to spasm, angrily the creature lurched at the biggest thing it could see, intent on burying one of the two IHAW-Heavy Walkers.

The Rhivaks who had been attacked by some mental alteration were quickly brought to heel by the dozens of Shamans on sight, redirected against their foes, using their great agility to leap directly into the enemy trenches. The Brumaks fired their massive chains of energy pulses, all compounding on one and other for increased lethality in a wave of vaporising lightning chains that would blanket hundreds of metres, their fire would circulate through the huddled infantry upon contact, turning any caught in their way into ash.

The Drones and Savage Drones charged into the enemy trenches, it didn't matter how many of them died, they'd get in there. Galak himself lead at the head of the Brutes, carrying his rifle in one hand with his Compact-Shield in the other, blocking incoming fire as the General lead their forces forward and closer to the trenches, who by majority were firing on the Ra'maks above. The Mandalorians caught among the leagues of the 10th Regiment would find themselves soon to be riddled with hundreds of Spikes from their rifles, those close would be stabbed at by the Glaives each Brute carried.

Rhivaks once again leap into Trenches, Servitor 1 attacks infantry, Servitor 2 attacks big walker, Brumaks vaporise stuff and Brutes move forward toward the trenches with the Drones and Savage Drones. Galak kills stuff with his awesome gun.
