GENERAL INFORMATION
  • Unit Name: Zealots
  • Affiliation: The Bryn'adûl
  • Classification: Acquisition & Assassination

  • Description: A multipurpose strategic unit that deals with the acquisition or destruction of high value targets. These are Bryn'adûl Baedurin soldiers with a high level of independence, operating on their own without oversight. The units are typically compromised of a total of six Zealots, tall crimson clad assassins with access to a swath of the Bryn'adûl's available armaments. However, what they carry on their person is typically more than enough.
COMBAT INFORMATION:
  • Unit Size: Small [Six Per Squad]
  • Unit Availability: Rare
  • Unit Experience: Elite
  • Combat Function: A multipurpose strategic unit that deals with the acquisition or destruction of high value targets. These units typically seek out valued targets, whom are designated by Zealot Commanders who work in cohesion with other military personnel to assess the enemy forces and decide what High Value targets to take out.
Zealot Ranks are as follows:

  • Zealot Minor: A Zealot Minor is the most common of a Zealots, a standard Zealot with basic training in assassination and asset retrieval. Zealot Minors typically carry a set of Kukri blades and a Spike Rifle.
  • Zealot Shadow: A Zealot Shadow is a specialisation within the Zealots, trained to hunt alone and more independently from a Squad. These Shadows tend to be more stealth orientated and deal with typically more dangerous but less complicated objectives. Zealot Shadows typically carry a set of
  • Zealot Major: A Zealot major is the leader of a particular Zealot Squad, and is typically more experienced; carrying a Glaive typically alongside any array of weaponry.
  • Zealot Officer: A Zealot Officer oversees the deployment of Zealot Squads and can often serve as a on-field Officer role when two or more Zealot Squads are deployed in any one location.
  • Zealot Elite: The Zealot Elite is typically a member of a three man Squad, serving for higher tier operations with a Zealot Commander either advising or serving as Field Commander for this team.
  • Zealot Commander: The Commander is the most experienced of the Zealots, and often the most dangerous. Equipped with a full and impressive arsenal, the Commander uses this in tandem with intellect and skill.

Strengths:
  • Formidable Form: The Draelvasier overall as a species can be considered tough. The Draelvasier like their host Tathra have a hefty constitution with strong bones and durable skin.
  • Zealot Training: Zealots are trained to be combative experts, masters of every weapon at their disposal.
  • Resilient & Intelligent: Zealots are adaptable, and incredibly talented.
  • Variety: The Zealots are comprised of both Aeravalin & Baedurin and thusly they were Squads have a variety of strengths. Such as a Baedurins bestial strength, or the acrobatic skills of an Aeravalin.
  • Arsenal: The Zealot is a walking arsenal, complete with a variety of weaponry to deal with various situations.

Weaknesses:
  • Isolated: These units are very small, and often operate alone behind enemy lines. They can be caught and killed by overwhelming numbers.
  • Stealth: Whilst stealth is not impossible for these units, it can be harder to conceal their larger forms, for obvious reasons.


HISTORICAL INFORMATION:
The Zealot class units were created as a way to create disarray amongst enemy forces by targeting specific hostile high-value assets. The Zealots are incredibly well trained and posses a wide variety of weaponry and access to a large armoury. The Zealots are experts in both melee and ranged combat. They posses a high lethality rating, however can be overwhelmed by superior warriors or greater numbers.
