Character Hrajlmak'Natok

NAME: Hrajlmak'Natok

FACTION: The Bryn'adûl

RANK: Shaman Beast-master,
Warlock

SPECIES: Draelvasier, Aeravalin

AGE: 12GSY

SEX: Male

HEIGHT: 2.4m

WEIGHT: 420kg

APPEARANCE:
  • Standing at 8ft, a midget among his people, Hrajlmak shares the distinctive physiology of the Aeravalin race. Small, relatively skinnier than the Baedurin. His carapace is extremely planar and sharp. Six crimson eyes that see in the IR spectrum afford him extreme visibility on the battlefield, of which 5 currently function after incurring a facial wound from @Loske Matson. While skinnier, Hrajlmak's musculature is far superior to his Shaman brethren, a result of his affinity to physical combat. Hrajlmak dons Warlock's Robes. Similar to the quasi-ceremonial robes worn by traditional Shamans but visibly attuned for the frontlines. These robes are concise and form-fitting and covered in insidious, jagged plate that serves to protect as much as deliver a scary fashion statement.

  • Hrajlmak's body is positively covered in combat history. Much of his torso is warped and distorted like fast-flowing lava flash frozen due to the response of Aeravalin flesh to significant heat. Blaster bolts and other high-temperature weapons and environments have melted his flesh to viscous liquid for it to solidify later. The right side of his face bears a large, vertical gash where a lightsaber has made its mark. His right hand is missing his pinky and ring finger. After his own fireball was thrown back at him, the same hand is now missing most of its flesh. Essential tendons, joints and muscles were later grafted on to restore function.

SKIN: Hard, planar carapace. Green and grey in colour

FORCE SENSITIVE: Yes

STRENGTHS AND WEAKNESSES

Agility: Smaller than most other Drael and of the Aeravalin species, Hrajlmak is as agile and quick as any nimble-bodied Human. His connection to the Force only further amplifies this

The Cosmic Energy: A strong connection the Force is a species trait of the Aeravalin. Hrajlmak is a relatively powerful user who specialises in Pyrokinesis and influence over semi-sentient minds

Drael Flesh: Although comparitively softer and weaker than his Baedurin cousins, Hrajlmak's flesh is a tough carapace that grants ample protection on the battlefield

Heat: The Aeravalin are victims of a temperate climate. Under warm weather, Hrajlmak will struggle. his flesh is particularly vulnerable to intense heat. His body is littered in the scars of literally melted flesh that has solidified outside of battle

Thirst for Violence: Hrajlmak's thirst for violence and reverence of genocide is almost unmatched by his peers. Often times there is no method to the madness, there's just the need to take life and maim. This violent mania, when allowed to compound in battle, has been known to replace linear thought and upset his connection to his war-beasts, crippling the army's integrity.

Small-man syndrome:
Standing at only just 8ft, Hrajlmak is a midget among his people. His diminutive stature has afforded him no end of ridicule. He is inherently angry and easily tested. This has been known to land him in hot water.

Description

Birthed through artificial means like many of his peers. A product of the Bryn'adul's advanced genetic science and war-centric society, Shaman Beast Master Hrajlmak'Natok is, compared to his Aeravalin brethren, a disproportionately violent, angry and ambitious Draelvasier. Unlike his fellow Shaman's, Hrajlmak places himself as close to the battle as possible. Fighting alongside Sraelvun and Baedurin as if he were one of them, Hrajlmak satiates his unending hunger for violence while simultaneously controlling large swathes of the army he finds himself at the head of.

Hrajlmak's hunger for battle catalysed when he was put through the 260 days of warrior training common to all combat-capable Draelvasier. Unlike his Aeravalin peers, Hrajlmak tended toward the qualities of the Baedurin and yearned to fight more than he was willing to engage in the mystical Shaman ways. While this drew much frustration from his caste, they had him put through the Ra'mu regardless, where he hunted, or rather, slaughtered his given creature with little thought. A controversial character from the get-go, Hrajlmak would go on to draw more mixed thoughts as he progressed in the Bryn'adul.

His first great failure came in the early months of the Bryn'adul's conquest. Hrajlmak was given control of swathes of troops and notably, a
Servitor. One of the Bryn'adul's many massive worms used to sink entire cities by burying under their foundations. In the final moments of the battle, a citadel was collapsed to destroy an opposition destroyer in-atmosphere. Engulfed in his violence, lacking concentration, Hrajlmak failed to move his Servitor out of harms way, resulting in its death. Although this did not jeopardize the attack effort, failing a Shaman's most simple task resulted in his exile for more than a year.

After his exile on Draemidus, Hrajlmak returned to the great conquest with renewed vigor and maturity. His abilities honed and his mind sharp, he dedicated himself to the progress of the quickly-growing war machine. But what he had seen of himself on Eshan was not forgotten. Since his return, he has fought every battle as both a Shaman and a frontline Warrior. He co-ordinates invasion armies while simultaneously fighting alongside them. This is in stark contrast to the traditional Shaman whose responsibility it is to remain safe, ensuring the attack is not crippled in any way. This way of thinking crystallized into the Warlock Caste, of which he is the founder and leader. An offshoot class of Shaman who's purpose is to act as telepathic frontline generals. Warlocks control large groups of an invasion/defensive army, provide a similar position on the field as a Jedi or Sith warrior and ensure the army can respond to any all changes irrespective of distance.

After several years of non-stop conquest, the Bryn'adul saw a flash insurrection among their own ranks. Almost resulting in civil war. Hrajlmak was pulled from the advancing Bryn'adul front to aid in quelling tensions and dispensing ample punishment to the Tenebrak, the insurrectionists. Once the political climate cooled, Hrajlmak and many of his Warlocks were sent to the Bryn'adul's defensive fronts to further consolidate their borders. In 864ABY he has finally returned to the offensive front after more than five years on the fringes of Bryn'adul territory.

Off the field, Hrajlmak is an exceptional Aeravalin mind. He, like his brethren, contributes to the Bryn'adul's technological development by innovating and creating that which improves Drael livelihood and makes the war-machine more powerful.
