[*]Defensive Systems:

Strengths:
  • Home Away From Home -
Generally well built, and suprisingly homely, the "Tsrotzhu" is a ship that combines the versitality of a dropship with the long term deployment use of a forward operating base. For special forces and more, the GS-77 is by far the best option for engagements deep in enemy territory, not for its stealth capacity but for its ability to simply keep them going through it all. Given everything a larger corvette has, albeit smaller and more built for space preservation, each gunship is able to become home to crews across the galaxy; Bounty Hunters included. No point living in a rust bucket of a ship when something like the "Tsrotzhu" is available.

[*]Flying Cannon -
  • Taking ques from a ship known as the 'Tapani Murder Machine', each "Tsrotzhu" has moved to operate as a vessel covered in weapon mounts. Readily customizable if chosen, the standard armament is beyond compare to more assault ships of its class. Four laser cannons, and four missile launchers allow for it to activately multiply ground forces tenfold; if not provide dominating air to ground support with relative ease. Why blow a hole in the building you're about to breach, when you could just bring it down at its foundations? Same concept, really.

[*]Moving Castle -
  • The "Tsrotzhu" has one special ability that truly differentiates it from most traditional gunships and transports. Imagine yourself pinned down, surrounded by groups of local insurgents with the sole intent of killing you, and displaying your corpse like a pinata. Not a great situation right? Well, lucky for you, you just happened to buy one of Jaeger's GS-77's, equipped with an advanced droid brain capable of finding your geolocation, and killing anything it deems a threat to your health; not to mention pick you up. What's better than that for a taxi ride?

Weaknesses:
  • Whats AA? -
With a predominate focus on air to ground combat, the "Tsrotzhu" can suffer to more dedicated fighters and more. Although it can hold its own, an interceptor with a decent pilot could easily outstrafe, out maneuver, and eventually outgun the flying vessel; as it can neither outpace them nor outmaneuver them. That in addition to its relatively massive size create a conflict that puts it at ends with most one man starships; one that it could easily lose out against more traditional vessels with.

[*]Big Boned -
  • With its size comes the glaring issue of just how many can be taken in a 'squadron'. The resources needed to arm this vessel for an expedition create the glaring issue of it taking up an entire wing of a hanger by itself. Sending two requires twice the usual resources of a standard twelve ship squadron, and this forces it to fill its role exlusively. There is almost no way this could be used a mainline fighter, or combat vessel in naval engagements; with most star destroyers only being able to carry one or two of these.

[*]Here I Am! -
  • Perhaps another problem insertion squads can often face is the fact that its not very stealthy. Although more customized variants could certainly carry something akin to sensor dampening, the vessel itself makes a statement wherever it goes. Both visually, and on the radar it would seem, and getting one of these behind enemy lines requires either a great pilot at very low altitudes or a distraction big enough to make everyone look away. Traditionally, this is meant to hold down fringe areas on the frontline, and occasionally operate as a base of operations for the would be freelancer rather than a 'Get Behind Them' Free Card.

Description:
--Overview--
The GS-77 “Tsrotzhu” Class Multipurpose Gunship shares many similarities with its contemporaries, in that it provides extraordinary air to ground support unlike many fighter deployments are ever able. Dedicated hover mechanics, guns on guns, and even an automated droid brain to ensure no pilot error all allow it continued pressure on the battlefield in almost every facet of war. The perfect addition to any Mandalorian, Bounty Hunter, or otherwise contemporary special forces unit, there is very little in terms the ship is unable to provide for the deep cover specialist in the field.

--Design--
Months prior to the first design, there was a small spark of beauty that rose in the mind of The Slave; Jaeger Solution’s primary designer and perpetrator of war. While under the guise of some random name he hadn’t thought about since he first said it, he walked aboard an aging YTA-1300 Light Freighter; a ship very similar in design to the even older YT-1300. In truth, the ship itself was a decent set up customized by years of ingenuity created out of necessity by a smuggler with no name. He now lay dead in his bed, but his soul lived on in the walls that surrounded them.

It held numerous holds, hallowed chambers with sensor jamming technology, rotary cannons on top and bottom, and so much more. All of it was passively ignorable however, as the true beauty of it seemed to be in that he lived there. From the crew quarters turned into a personal bedroom, to the fact he had made a ‘kitchen’ in a part of the main auditorium. The man had made enough money to make the vessel more than a freighter, more than a ship by tradition. It’s history, its essence, was beautiful; and The Slave would appreciate that.

Later, with this ‘home’ in mind, The Slave began to draw up the conceptual designs that would be later known simply as the “Tsrotzhu”; High Sith meaning nothing more than Slave. A mirror of himself, of his ego; except with more laser cannons. From its various rooms, hold meant to be filled with various nutrient gel and more. Two levels with room for plenty of crew and more, up to twenty are able to live comfortably for prolonged periods of time.

First, the Cockpit stood at the front of the vessel on what could be considered the ‘lower’ level, the epicenter of the vessel and its heart. Within it contains the pilot's seat, co-pilots seat, and two back up seats for offensive weapon systems; along with all the corresponding computer systems to oblige these. In addition, a secondary computer connected to the engineering core specifically for the advanced droid brain and its various options, including automated defense protocols and more. If all else fails, an emergency button that slams the cockpit’s blast doors shut, visor plates fold, and the entire vessel goes into complete lockdown.

Second, the Main hold. This sizeable room contains lifeform detectors to help discourage stowaways, but more importantly contains a self contained armory meant to hold a number of vital weapons for the crew aboard. Up to fifty weapons could easily be fit in the locked carousel, with more than enough ammo for each; while the hold itself can hold rations for up to two weeks with a full crew. The forward hold comes with a cargo lift to beneath the ship for loading and unloading large shipments of supplies from local ports, and even has enough room to hold a speeder bike or similar sized vehicle.

Third, the Conference Room contains a large holotable with an optional connection to the holonet that is monitored through the various security systems provided by Aegis Systems. This ensures a completely secure connection while its users look up the dossier on their target, or watch a group movie session on SpaceFlix. In addition, this room contains a space orientated kitchen and refresher; one of three aboard the vessel.

Fourth, the Crew Quarters are split into two separate levels. The first is the main floor, one that has more than enough bunk beds and cots to hold fifteen people. Generally the assault teams assigned room, each bunk has dedicated footlockers and shelving for personalization and more, along with a refresher for use by the entire crew. Each cot is equipped with a small holoscreen for viewing personal holovids, a privacy shutter with internal locking measures for sleeping purposes, and individual climate control for each bed, in addition to noise cancellation technology that allows for complete seclusion (albeit when an emergency is raised). This allows maximum comfort for each soldier, and more than enough luxury for the average passenger. The second crew quarters is almost entirely identical, except it exist on the second floor and only has room for five people; however there is the option for many to replace this second room with a more comfortable ‘Captain’s Quarters’, though these replacements are rare.

Fifth is the engineering bay, where the main terminal for the entire vessel is held. Although a foreseeable security risk, the entire area is under constant surveillance by the Advanced Droid Brain, and all changes to ship wide systems must go through this first and foremost; to ensure survivability of the crew and vessel. In addition, a number of anti-slicing protocols have been implemented to ensure maximum security aboard the vessel at all times. More than this however, the engineering bay holds the various reactors that power the vessel, the Advanced Droid Bain core, most missiles for the loading of the octets on the outside of the vessel, and the main shield core for the Delphus.2. A single dedicated cot does come with the Engineering Core, but this is often regarded as too uncomfortable and noisy for most to consider a permanent abode.

Last is the Brig, a rather small area of the vessel, but one with an important purpose. The smallest room aboard the ship, besides the refreshers, is the place where prisoners are kept, in either updated force cages or Universal Energy Cage’s. This allows for VIP’s to be transported with impunity, as the entire room is sealed by blast doors and more. In the even of a lockdown, settings permit for a complete purge of individual cages, or to simply leave them sealed. Most attempts to escape are likely to be met with failure, as in addition to the cages themselves, a heavier set of automated defense systems exist in the room, including active turrets with threat priority built in, and more.

--Armament--
While much of the ship was designed with love, the armament was designed for war. As gunships go, the vessel is extremely well armed and shows this at even a glance; even with various weapon mounts for the addition of more customized weapons should its captain ever see fit. More than anything, the vessel is flexible in its use, and allows the majority of buyers to mold it to their specific use.

To begin, what could be considered the main weapons of the “Tsrotzhu” are the Twin Fore Rapid-Fire Laser Cannons orientated exclusively above the cockpit’s transparisteel. Each comes with a near 180 degree radius to turn and fire, with individual aiming protocols to make for an even more accurate and foreboding setup. These are most often used in strafing runs, but with the numerous aiming and tracking systems, could easily take out more lively targets should they end up in front of them.

On top of the vessel however, there are two rotating heavy laser cannons with a far slower pace to their firepower. One shot every three seconds, each shoots what could be considered more a tank’s cannon than something on a gunship like this. From air to ground, the two cannons enable each to lay devastating amounts of damage down while the two fore cannons provide simultaneous judgement from above. Truly a beautiful combination.

The last thing in its armament however is the four missile emplacements, for the expressive purpose of laying out wide areas of destruction in a matter of a button press. With each able to shoot up to six missiles at a time, a full barrage from the gunship would be twenty four missiles with little disregard for the enemy, and extreme prejudice for their deaths. The last addition to an already beautiful weapon, most consider this to be the magnum opus of gunships in today's warfare.

--Support Systems--
Just as any ship of its category, a number of additional systems were put in place to optimize it for more than just the ‘pew pew’ and ‘bang bang’ of traditional gunships. The “Tsrotzhu” is no different, as each generation of ship adds more and more than its predecessors. Just as the sins of the fathers, Jaeger kept with the tradition and brought even more to the table.

The first is its ability to utilize the Advanced Droid Brain for not only internal security, but external as well. To begin, the Scutum Automated Defense System offers a number of deployable turrets on the interior of the vessel to help prevent boarding parties from devastating or surprising the crew or its pilots. From its Model Dz5 Security Doors that can lock shut with the simple command of emergency, or detection of danger by the heuristic processor within the droid brain, or the advanced security scanners that watch out for hidden weapons and the like from any would be guests; the vessel is completely covered inside from enemy threats.

In a completely ‘self destruct’ style, the ship is also able to release an enormous amount of Coma gas, which enables a small time frame where both the crew and invaders are put to sleep while the ship itself flies to more friendly waters, or port. Simply put, while entirely possible to hack the ship or bypass much of the security, there has been no stops made to allow the would be trespasser from doing so easily by any means, so long as they don’t harm the Master Command Unit; the true heart of the entire security.

Externally, the vessel is able to utilize the same Advanced Droid Brain for the expressive purpose of retrieval missions and fire support to engaged ground teams. This can be done up to danger closer, with a few safety features to help ensure no friendlies are injured in the resulting firestorm. Bypass these however, and the ground team could very well end up in the same situation as their opponents.

In addition to this, each vessel is given a pair of dedicated ‘housecarls’ meant to both patrol and protect the interior of the vessel. With no need for sleep, and both the combat training and housekeeping programming to enable a perfect ship, two Southstar Class Battledroids are given full reign of the vessel at all times. These two have completely programmable personalities and settings, with a number of protocol droid pre programs to cater to most crews. Cooking, cleaning, self defense training, and more are all able to be done through the various computers situated around the vessel, or even simply offering biometric backed voice commands (so long as the voice is registered and accepted by the internal processing unit).

--Summary--
To reiterate, the “Tsrotzhu” seeks to be more than just a traditional gunship, or a simple freighter; but a home away from home for the crews aboard. From the sleeping quarters to the armory, Jaeger dips its toes into housing and more with gunship of most’s dreams, and one that should be held to a high esteem for the care and precision used in its design.

Use with caution bounty hunters of the galaxy, as you might just fall in love.
