SPECIAL FEATURES
  • Spikes: The weapon fires a barrage of super heated metal spikes, tearing through opponents with ease.
Strengths:
  • Pain: The super-heated metal cuts through enemies like butter, firing twenty-five centimetre super heated spikes at a high rate of fire, quickly riddling an enemy with incredibly painful wounds.
  • Metal bypass: The super-heated spikes are well equipped to deal with armour - able to melt through most armours with direct strikes, quickly cooling down upon impact as to not carbonise the wounds, just burning enough to cause extreme pain.
  • Heat: Over time of use, the weapon will steadily heat up, making it almost impossible to be used by anything other than the resistant Draelvasier.
  • Powerful: The Spiker 2A is an upgraded modified variant of the standard Wendigo variant, utilising a holographic scope and larger spikes, with higher velocity for greater range and power.
Weaknesses:
  • Two Hands: For any infantry other than Baedurin, this weapon variant requires two hands for usage due to its heavy nature.
  • Recoil: This weapon produces accuracy through paced strikes. Continuous fire creates continuous issues with hitting targets.
  • Heat: Eventually, this weapon will become unusable to allies outside of the Drael within the Bryn'adûl due to its heat.
  • Fire: This weapon is a accuracy based rifle, intended to be used in capable hands. Its rate of fire is lowered for more powerful individual shots.
DESCRIPTION:
The Spiker 2A is built as a supplementary designated marksmen rifle that can be used by Bryn'adûl soldiers, typically used by Bryn'adûl Drone Commander's as they typically move with the Drones, however typically not on the forefront of the battle. Making the 2A a viable choice and necessary addition.

The same issues that plagued the previous spiker submission also apply to this submission.

1) Name

Your weapon is actually called a spiker, while the Halo weapon is also known as a Spiker.

2) Image

While an image of the Halo Spiker alone is acceptable, this combined with the name and the other similarities makes this too close to being a carbon-copy of the Halo Weapon

3) Ammunition

Like the Halo weapon, this submission uses super-heated metal spike to bypass armour.
From your submission:
Metal bypass: The super-heated spikes are well equipped to deal with armour - able to melt through most armours with direct strikes
From the Halo wiki:
These spikes are capable of piercing armour and flesh

4) Two-handed

From your submission:
Two Hands: For any infantry other than Baedurin, this weapon in its more armoured variant requires two hands for usage due to its heavy nature.
From the Halo wiki:
The Spiker was engineered by the Jiralhanae as a weapon intended to be held in one hand by a standard Jiralhanae soldier, though its size and weight mean it must be carried in two hands for use by human infantry

The similarities between these two quotes speak for themselves.

The Factory rules clearly state:

Plagiarism will not be tolerated. Small excerpts may be included from other sources in a sub, but they must include a credit, link, and be clearly marked.

As with your previous submission, I believe that in order to make this submission something that is not a copy of the Halo weapon would require a complete rewrite.

For that reason, I am going to retroactively deny this submission. If you disagree with my reasoning, or with my judgement you are welcome to request a second chance thread.
