~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
OUT OF CHARACTER INFORMATION
  • Intent: To describe in detail the full composition of the Drone Infantry forces of the Bryn'adûl.
  • Image Credit: X
  • Role: Base Infantry
  • Permissions: N/A
  • Links: Provided Throughout Submission
GENERAL INFORMATION
  • Unit Name: Bryn'adûl Drones
  • Affiliation: The Bryn'adûl
  • Classification: Infantry
  • Equipment:
  • Bryn'adûl | Spiker [All Units]
  • Bryn'adûl | Dagger [All Units]
  • Bryn'adûl | Basic Combat Gear [All Units]
  • Description: The Bryn'adûl Drones are the most common of units among the Bryn'adûl, their position is derived from the Sraelvun's existence as the lowest form of Draelvasier. They are the fodder of the Bryn'adûl forces, serving as meat for the grinding wheel of the Chieftains War Machine. The Sraelvun Drones stand at anywhere between Seven and Eight feet in height, and are gangly, gaunt in features.
COMBAT INFORMATION:
  • Unit Size: Large
  • Unit Availability: Common
  • Unit Experience: Trained [Flash-trained]
  • Combat Function: The Drones are essentially basic infantry, grunts. Infantry that is used for whatever requirement they can be applied to. Drones typically operate in large units. Typically Eight-Hundred to a Battalion. A battalion is comprised of eighty units.
Drone Units are made up of a total of ten Drones: 7 Drones, 1 Marksmen, 1 Grenadier and a Major. TThusly within a Battalion there are a total of; 560 Drones, 80 Marksmen, 80 Grenadiers, 80 Majors.
Every 5 of these units are lead by a singular Drone Commander, thusly for every Drone Battalion there are a total of sixteen Drone Commanders.
- RANKS:
Drone: Basic Drone, limited training, carries a Spiker.
Drone Marksmen: Limited training with some specialisation in more ranged equipment such as the 2A Spiker.
Drone Grenadier: More limited unit, typically carrying more explosive weaponry. These units have slightly heavier armour.
Drone Major: Drone Majors are subservient to the Drone Commander and have the responsibility of relaying the Commanders orders.
Drone Commander: Baedurin Superior, well-trained tactical supervisor for Drone units.
Strengths:
  • Formidable Form: The Draelvasier overall as a species can be considered tough. The Draelvasier like their host Tathra have a hefty constitution with strong bones and durable skin.
  • Cunning: Due to the relationship of the Sraelvun with the Baedurin, they are scavengers. Capable of making something from nothing in many situations.
  • Rabid: The Sraelvun are agile and have long claws for nails. This allows them to climb walls and ravage enemies.
  • Numbers: The Bryn'adûl Drones are a fearsome force to behold, their savagery in numbers unmatched.
  • Flash-Clone Profession: Drones are not incredibly gifted fighters, nor are they expert marksmen. They are average in every aspect.
+/- Fearless: The Sraelvun are ultimately fearless creatures that will follow orders to the death. But, this also means they are reckless and ultimately will die before they retreat.
Weaknesses:
  • Born to die: The Drones are the most common of the Draelvasier, flash-cloned and thrown into jaws of war knowing they will most likely get chewed up and spat out as an insignificant rotting corpse. They are committed to serving for the glory of the Bryn'adûl, slaves to its cause. They are careless regarding their own well-being.
  • Drones: As their namesake implies they are mindless savages at best. They are flash-cloned and thrown right into the thick of it, as close to semi-sentient as you can get.
  • Lonesome: A singular Drone posses little threat to any soldier.
HISTORICAL INFORMATION:
Over time, the Bryn'adûl have evolved into a militant faction of glory-seekers and raiders. They have seen many battles, forging themselves in fire and bloodshed. The Bryn'adûl Drones have been in large part revised, their weaknesses and strengths recognised by the strategic minds of the Bryn'adûl as their uses have been optimised for victory in glorious combat.
The Bryn'adûl Drones are excellent shock troopers, not entirely dangerous alone, but savage in their brutality - their relentless nature lending to their many victories against various military's.
I thought I'd already covered this with Arekk?
They are supposed to be a mass unit however their minor production weapons are used rarely, I figured that'd be fine instead of creating specific sniper or heavy units.
Note I clarified these weapons aren't used in mass. Does that not solve the issue?
