• Ray Shielding
Strength:
 • Heavy Weapons - The weapons on the droid are designed for situations where heavy weapons are more important, creating a heavy hitting droid with grenade launchers to supplement the energy based cannons. While this creates a slower rate of fire, it provides a kick back strong enough to balance out the loss of speed.
 • Ray Shielding - Taking hints from the droidekas of old, the Striker class War Droid is outfitted with a Ray Shield able to take hits and protect the armor of the droid and its payloads. Of course, it faces the same problems that the droidekas of old faced, those being Ion Based weaponry and physical weaponry.
Weakness:
 • How do I turn this thing? - Due to the shielding and other technology of this droid, it’s ability to turn its body and twist like any human might is rather limited, creating a frontline droid that must rely on its own shielding and armor to survive its slow turning speed. This, of course, allow individuals to more easily move around the droids and try to take them out before the droids can fire back.
 • Limited Battlefields - Due to that nature of design, battlefields become far more limited. Best used in urban combat, ship based engagements, or cave networks, these droids took on the role of being a hammer to the anvil so to speak, focusing on moving one direction and keeping to that with less strategic capabilities. They simply are not designed for open battlefields or forested environments where ambushes and being surrounded would be simple.
 • Simple Minded - Due to the lack of new age Droid brains (cause someone is a loser) the Striker War Droid is more comparable to the B2 battle droids of old. This means that their tactical planning is rather poor on their own and require a tactical droid or more often an organic commander in order to become remotely effective on the battlefield.
Description:
The Striker war droid is one that excels in urban combat as well other places where the combat is kept linear. What this means is that it is not designed to handle large open engagements particularly well and even falters in those situations due to its strategic capabilities, turning speed, and the droid brain it has. With its weapons directly attached to its arms, the Striker War droid is not meant to adapt and change for the battle, making their effectiveness on an open battlefield less than apparent.

Its benefits though are that of its Shields and its guns. Taking inspiration from the Droideka droids that the Confederacy of Independent Systems, the droid retains a shield in which to help defend against energy based attacks and a thicker shelling to provide some defense against those of the Physical variety. Its legs are outfitted with extra servos for greater movement speed and its feet retain magnetically and anchor clamps because of the weapons it carries but also to allow for it to operate in conditions that would otherwise send it floating away. (Space)

The cannons are the strongest positive for this droid. It carries two heavy laser cannons on its arms, supported by four shot grenade launchers. This was to inspire stronger attack that offers more of a punch and leave it able to deal with light vehicles and armored individuals as well as Jedi and Sith who might not be expecting the strength of the punch.
