The Heir

Darkest Jungle | Sith Order and Empire of the Lost | Junction of Felucia and Manpha

Felucia, a humid jungle world, stands upon the precipice of two great powers.
To the galactic north, the Sith of

To the galactic south, the Empire of the Lost out of Lianna, led by a mysterious Emperor,

And now all eyes fall upon Felucia.
For the Emperor, it is an opportunity not only to test the reaction and bellicosity of the Sith, but too his armed forces against the undead hordes that have ravaged the Outer Rim. For the Sith, Felucia represents a natural breeding ground for their cause, the Force is full and heavy upon the world, and all can feel it, be it flora, fauna, or sentient alike.
Yet, while there would be other strategic considerations, such as securing the production of the healing herb Nysillin, and too emotional reactions, the history of Imperial and Sith relations was a matter that burned hotly in the hearts of all.
In the end, it would come to a head over the very simple fact that Felucia could not fall into the hands of the enemy. For the Sith, its fall would have the enemy at the gates of the Stygian Caldera. For the Imperials it would have the enemy at the gates of the Auril Sector and Tion Cluster.
Thus the irony that battle erupted not out of design, but simply the fear and paranoia that the other would strike first. The clandestine Imperial NISB and secretive Sith Tsis’Kaar kept constant surveillance on the system, until, perhaps inevitably, scouts from both sides would meet, and call for reinforcements from their main battle fleets.
Historians will continue to argue over who fired the first shot. Some say it was an eager Sith Captain looking to prove himself to Admiral Hightower. Others would swear upon their lives that the Imperials broke the stalemate. In the end, none of that mattered. Whether the intent had been to engage in battle or not, the outcome was inevitable. A clash both sides expected, yet a fight neither had chosen, was underway. It had been the spark to ignite a wildfire which threatened to further destabilize the peace of that sector. An inferno that may decide the fate of empires.

A battle unexpected is still a battle to be fought. Reinforcements surge on both sides, vessels of all sizes and quantities charging head first into turbolaser batteries and ion cannons, as destruction and annihilation will be waged all around them. It is for the glory of their respective empires that the space around Felucia must be captured, and the enemy beaten and forced to retreat.
The battle for control of Felucia will take place on two fronts, the initial struggle beginning among the stars. It doesn't matter who fired first. All that matters is the winner gains the much-coveted jungle planet. Whether you command a fleet, or are getting up close and personal with a starfighter, this objective is designed to win the conflict before more ground troops can make it to the surface.

Felucia is a world engulfed in the Force. The ripples of it are felt in every step on the planet's surface. Even the native population are attuned to the Force and therefore susceptible to those strong in commanding it. The Sith see a Force-sensitive army, fodder for the war engine they seek to build, their first trial, the landing Imperials. The Empire of the Lost sees the Nysillin and covets it for the healing properties it provides, knowing the existential threat that Sith control of this world will be. With both nations converging upon each other, a conflict is sure to break out.
Operatives of both sides have secured landing zones, now it will be the objective of dropships to secure the landings, and for those that survive, a foreboding and dangerous jungle awaits, with a brutal and unforgiving enemy behind that.
This is a great objective for ground pounders and those looking for some PvP duels. Bring your units, ground vehicles, weapons, and whatever else you think you may need. You never know where the enemy may be lurking. Oh and don’t forget the main objective, the natives and the Nysillin.
