ADVANCED SYSTEMS
STRENGTHS
  • Transport: The Muur is a dedicated military transport designed to carry infantry units, mechanized units, and armored units down onto the battlefield. It's shielding, armor, and engine systems are all finely tuned to serve in this line of duty.
WEAKNESSES
  • Low Armament: The Muur only possesses three dual laser cannons in its armament, which is only effective against smaller or equal sized vessels.
DESCRIPTION

The Muur-class Transport was designed and developed prior to the outbreak of the Sith Empire's conflict with the New Imperial Order and was manufactured to serve as a new mainline transport for both infantry and vehicles. Being as large as a mid-sized frigate, the Muur was larger than most of the Sith Empire's transports and was thus equipped with a hyperdrive to allow it to move without the need of a supplementary carrier.
Three light dual laser cannons comprised the Muur's weapon complement, with one situated directly beneath the flight bridge, one located beneath the main hull, and the final cannon placed atop the transport's dorsal hull. These cannons could swivel 360° and were independently controlled by gunners on the Muur's flight bridge, though each cannon could be switched to an automatic tracking and firing algorithm. The Muur's hull was triple-armored plated and encased in a very durable deflector shield stronger than the shields of similarly sized craft.
A spacious interior holding bay was large enough to contain a battalion of Imperial Legionnaires alongside an assortment of vehicles such as repulsortanks and walkers. When disgorging military assets into the field, the Muur would extend its landing gear and disengage its lateral bay doors to allow both infantry and vehicles to quickly disembark. Sometimes, a Muur's commander would launch paratroopers and jet troopers to secure a landing zone before unleashing the full complement.

Darth Carnifex Darth Carnifex , this appears to be about three ratings over balance, which I'm guessing is due to how the hangar is being used.

At this size of vessel, there is no difference between a "Base" hangar of zero squadrons, and an "Average" hangar of zero squadrons. Essentially, the lowest the hangar can go on this ship is "Average: 0 squadrons".

The original blaster neutralizer article doesn't mention anything about it being selective. Can you elaborate on this? Does this have the ability to selectively work only on enemy weapons? If so, how?

The Muur's hull was triple-armored plated and encased in a very durable deflector shield stronger than conventional shields of similarly sized craft.

I'm not sure if I quite get why "conventional" is being used here. Are these deflector shields somehow different from the typical deflector shield by some technological mechanism? Or do you mean that they're simply stronger than the average shields for a ship its size?

I brought Hangar up to average and lowered Defenses to high and Speed to average.

I removed selective from the blaster neutralizer.

And I removed conventional to better elucidate that it should read as being stronger than shields of similar-sized craft.
