SPECIAL FEATURES
  • Rear Compartment: At the rear of the walker sits a small compartment which is typically used either for very limited cargo transport or for the transport of a single squad. However it is also large enough to carry two speederbikes and their pilots, allowing it to function in a scouting and reconnaissance role much easier alongside the basic utility. This compartment can also house extra equipment such as more sensor arrays or communications devices for even more functionality as a sort of command walker. It could theoretically even be used to help lay mines or other such tactical operations.
  • Powerful Legs: The legs of the K'lor Walker are exceptionally powerful and designed to function to a high degree. Not only does this allow the walker to be fast and agile, with a good bit of durability to match, but the main result is that one leg is enough to keep the walker standing. Indeed if one leg were to be disabled or destroyed then the other is more than capable of keeping the walker upright, albeit unable to move for obvious reasons. This also allows the walker to be able to scale walls, using one leg at a time to support itself in its climb, which offers the walker an even greater degree of uses and opportunities even in rough terrain.
STRENGTHS
  • An Arsenal to Match: The K'lor Walker boasts a decent arsenal both in variation and in power, allowing it to function in almost any battlefield role without issue and adjust accordingly. Missiles and Heavy Laser Cannons work well against vehicles and defenses alike while the Blaster Cannon can knock out infantry and even light vehicles without much issue.
  • Dem Legs: The powerful legs of the walker make it a far more flexible asset than usual, giving it a little extra bit of durability and a good bit more agility. It can maintain what is essentially a jogging speed and scale walls all due to its legs.
WEAKNESSES
  • Paper Bones: The defenses of the walker are fairly lacking to say the least, consisting mainly of its durasteel hull and some reinforced portions of said hull. While most infantry weapons will still do little damage, even a single missile or laser cannon shot could take out a walker fairly easily.
  • Complex Motors: While the walkers are made to be churned out in great numbers using common parts and materials, there are a few motors in the legs which are purpose built to help give them their powerful attributes. Unfortunately this means that said motors are basically impossible to repair in the field, meaning any damage or malfunctions to the legs will necessitate the walker being shipped back to a factory or workshop in order to replace all or most of that leg.
DESCRIPTION
Named after a pest found on Korriban, the K'lor Walker MK.1 was commissioned by Darth Strosius as the first of a line of walkers that would diversify and improve the existing compliment and arsenal of the Sith Order's ground forces. First debuting on Faldos, the K'lor Walker was meant to be a light and easily produced yet versatile combat walker. A respectable assemblage of weaponry allows it to lay waste to most battlefield opponents without issue while its compartment and powerful legs offer an expanded utility that most other walkers lack in one form or another. The K'lor, albeit the smallest of the new walker line, was designed to be the backbone of the Sith Order's ground forces as a multipurpose and viable vehicle fit for any and all situations on the battlefield.
