In the bustling, neon-lit underbelly of the galaxy, nestled within the sprawling cityscape of Nar Shaddaa, lies a cantina that pulsates with life and intrigue. This cantina known simply as 'The Marcasite' has became a haven for smugglers, bounty hunters, and weary travelers seeking refuge from the chaotic streets outside. As one steps through the cantina's heavy entrance doors the air is thick with a heady mix of exotic spices and the acrid scent of blaster fire.

The dimly lit interior is a vibrant tapestry of species from across the known galaxy, their conversations blending into a symphony of alien tongues. The walls are adorned with haphazardly hung holoprojectors, casting a kaleidoscope of shifting images and advertisements, while flickering holo-lamps provide pockets of soft illumination.

The central hub of activity is a circular bar crafted from polished obsidian; the surface scarred with countless marks etched by patrons past. Behind it sits a formidable array of bottles and flasks line the shelves, each containing a potent concoction from every little corner of the galaxy. The bartender, a grizzled Duros named Garak, is a master mixologist, effortlessly maneuvering between the myriad ingredients to craft drinks that are as exotic as the patrons themselves.

Each table and booth within the cantina is occupied by a motley crew of thugs and enforcers. A group of Rodians huddle in one corner, their shimmering scales reflecting the ambient light as they trade secrets in their native tongue. Nearby, a bounty hunter sits alone, nursing a drink and brooding over a failed capture. The local band begins to play; bathed in soft lights on the stage and exotic dancers captivate the audience. Among this lively atmosphere; discreet transactions take place in shadowed corners, whispers of clandestine deals exchanged between parties with hidden agendas.

"Baagh, Fasera. You have won game after game, YOU ARE CHEATING!!" came the voice of a disgruntled trandoshan at the nearby Sabacc Table, staring daggers at the man across from the table.

"My friends!, I am nothing if not strictly honorable....Would I dare cheat my friends out of their hard earned credits?" a cheeky response from Fossilao, gently nursing back a sunrise beverage while holding the sabacc cards in the other hand. It was out of the question for him to cheat, him the most handsome smuggler that the galaxy has ever seen. The Nerve of this brute!

ABOUT NAL HUTTA

The Nal Hutta Empire is the fourth iteration of the Hutt Cartel to operate during the Current Chaos Era, and is a collection of Hutt crime families and other criminal syndicates operating within the territories claimed by the Hutts known as Hutt Space to most of the Galactic Governments. This loose criminal confederation is governed by the Grand Hutt Council, a council of elder Hutts who mediate disputes between the families and the other syndicates to prevent another full scale underworld conflict.

The overarching leadership of the Criminal Empire lay in the hands of the Supreme Mogul, who is publicly the most powerful hutt currently in the galaxy and is the only one who can officially declare a state of war or expansion.

The Hutt Cartel has a rich history stretching back from the Pre-Republic when the Hutt Empire was a major power to the Old Republic Era where the Supreme Mogul Karagga the Unyielding and Toborro the Hutt sought to challenge the Sith Empire and the Galactic Republic, to the current Chaos Era with the Rise of the Hutt Republic underneath Broka the Hutt and the Hutt Space Consortium under the leadership of Gorba the Hutt although ultimately both governments fell quite swiftly.

Renowned for its vast wealth, extensive smuggling operations and ruthless enforcement tactics, the Cartel is a dominant force in both legitimate and illicit economies stretching from the Core Worlds to the Outer Rim Territories. With a network of mercenaries, bounty hunters, and enforcers at their disposal, the Nal Hutta Empire ensures that those who cross them face dire consequences.

Their insatiable appetite for power and credits, makes them a force to be reckoned with in the criminal underworld and in galactic affairs.


POLITICS

Ruled over by the Local Syndicate Bosses and Hutt Species, the Hutt Cartel is a neo-feudalistic commercial state, in which power is given into the hands of 'Crime Lords' and their individual enforcers. Led by the Supreme Mogul officially, each sector and planet is commanded and controlled by the Kajidics and Local Criminal Gangs who in turn oversee a complex web of planetary leaders who oversee and command operations on the planet which they lord over.

Within the Territory of 'Hutt Space' this power is shown directly by having a Palace or Compound as the focus point of power on the planet. Here the Leaders control the organs of Government according to their whim, appointing security officers, demanding protection money from the local shops and business owners on their world and much more. These Planetary Bosses report to the Kajidics or Local Syndicate Bosses and then they report to the Supreme Mogul.

Outside of Hutt Space, these are the sole domains of the Kajidics who dominate the planetary underworld, living and operating in cantinas or on pleasure barges with the Supreme Mogul having no say in how these territories are run as long as the tribute is paid.


THE TRIBUTE SYSTEM

Known as the System of 'Chompek', the tribute system is how the Hutt Cartel does business across the planets they lead and underworlds they directly control.

The System was introduced by the Current Supreme Mogul and governs how business is conducted across the Hutt's Dominion. In a quasi-feudalist method of economic control and power patronage, Chompek ensures that the Hutt Species remain the dominant force behind the cartel by requiring tribute to be paid in some form, for any and all business transactions across their domain.

The Current System works like a Pyramid Structure, with the Junior Criminal Leaders and Hutts paying up the chain to more senior clan members, who in turn pay the Lorda of their Clan and then the members of the Grand Hutt Council. This method of control is meant to push
competition amongst the Hutts in order to climb up the ladder of the Cartel and avoid them becoming complacent.


THE ECONOMY

As a growing economic powerhouse, Hutt Space and its territories are dominated by the Black Market and Underworld Trading along with slave labor, which allows raw resources, industrial goods, food and war materials to be produced on mass at low cost before being sold for enormous prices. This system allows the Hutt Cartel to squeeze every last credit out of the economy to fuel their lust for power and wealth, and effectively govern their Criminal Empire.

Outside of Hutt Space, the Hutts and Aligned Criminal Bosses make their living through the Underworld which means taking a cut from the local gangs and criminals, peddling spice across the galactic frontier, issuing bounties, and much more in order to retain their power.



MILITARY INFORMATION

The Nal Hutta Empire has long sought to avoid open conflict and they have done so mostly well through a combination of fear, corruption and all manner of other activities. To that extent the Hutt 'Military' is split across a dozen forces each belonging to a single kajidic and individual mercenary armies operating within Hutt Space and its Territories which can be called together in a time of war or expansionary conquest.

The Grand Hutt Fleet is a collection of smaller fleets run and operated by the Supreme Mogul to control the flow of trade and traffic, and to defend the Hutt's Claimed Borders. It consists of a number of warships and smaller individual craft ranging from smuggler vessels to pirate cruisers and serve as a constant reminder to planets that have rebellious sympathizes.

Mercenaries and Goons are a common place for the Hutt Dimayos and Local Syndicate Bosses who can call upon them to settle gang disputes through urban warfare in an attempt to defeat their rival. More established Hutt Lordas and Powerful Crime Lords can call upon more professional outfits such as Droids and Elite Guardsman, using tanks and other vehicles to defend their claimed turf.

It is not uncommon for the Hutt Cartel to send Slave Laborers into Battle as meat shields, although war itself is a last resort for many Hutts. Avoiding direct combat is preferable when you can simply ruin your opponent economically.

Please note that all new members begin at the enforcer rank in the main Hutt Cartel Portion, and becoming a higher ranked Syndicate Boss (crime boss) or Street Foreman (Leader of a Local Outfit) requires activity and effort toward the faction.

FACTION HIERARCHY

The Nal Hutta Empire operates under a pseudo-feudalistic system, in which a series of tithes and tributes are paid up 'the chain', ensuring the wealth and dominance of the Hutt Species. To that end, ranks are structured as follows with 1 being the Lowest Rank and 11 being the Highest.

THE HUTT HIERARCY

Whilst many can achieve great things, should they be cruel enough or just better at lying. The Hutts follow their own political powerbase in the Cartel which is done unequally. Only Hutts coming from certain families can get specific ranks, enabling them to live a life of opulence. These ranks can be seen below, and for those not born to the right clan there is only one way to go and that is up.

Trilon, Inc. otherwise known as Trilon, Incorporated was small company established during the High Republic known for producing starship hulls and basic control systems. With most of their products being easily upgradeable and often constructed with some components made by larger companies such as Kuat Drive Yards. Each of Trilon's products was constructed to meet the client's individual needs as unlike a larger company they could focus on delivering exactly what was requested without major incidents occurring. During the Galactic Civil War they publicly aligned with the Galactic Empire against the Alliance to Restore the Republic.

Although quickly supported the New Republic and its successor governments over the centuries in order to stay profitable. Entering 900 ABY during the waning days of the Second Great Hyperspace War with the Brotherhood of the Maw, the Company would reorganize itself to better suit the growing needs of the galactic consumer and the remaining galactic superpowers such as the Galactic Alliance and the Sith Order. The company was purchased during this time by a prominent Givin Investor by the name of Oshogbo Sil.

RATIONALE

Trilon, Incorporated was founded during the High Republic. The company was majority owned and operated by the people inhabiting Mechis III during the Galactic Civil War, New Republic Era, and the Current Chaos Era until being purchased in 900 ABY by a prominent Givin Investor by the name of Oshogbo Sil.

Byblos Drive Yards was founded as early as 4,000 BBY with their products being held to be of questionable quality but had made a profit based on its technicians being bribed into making legal and illegal adjustments in their products. Based in the Colonies Region of the Galaxy, Byblos Drive Yard established itself as a regional starshipwright best known for producing transports, freighters and industrial mining and construction starships. Also establishing a subsidiary by the name of Byblos RepulsorDrive which produced combat cloud cars and airspeeder for use by planetary defense and security forces.

Operating well into the Rise of the Galactic Empire and the Current Chaos Era, the Company would reorganize after the end of the Second Great Hyperspace War with the Brotherhood of the Maw and eventually be purchased by a prominent Givin Investor by the name of Oshogbo Sil.

RATIONALE

Byblos Drive Yards was founded as early as 4,000 BBY by various individuals on the Colonies World of Byblos. The company was majority owned and operated by various individuals over the course of the centuries until being purchased by a Prominent Givin Investor in 900 ABY.

DESCRIPTION

Nen-Carvon was a vehicle manufacturing company established during the Clone Wars with them supplying vehicles to both the Confederacy of Independent Systems and the Galactic Republic while maintaining some degree of independence. The Company managed to obtain a reputation for imperialist sympathizes during the Galactic Civil War as they began supplying more and more vehicles to the Galactic Empire and almost none to the Alliance to Restore the Republic. After the fall of the Galactic Empire with the death of Emperor Palpatine on Endor, the Company would align itself with the New Galactic Government in the New Republic in their fight against the Imperial Warlords.

The company changed hands numerous times during this time frame while trying to maintain independent from both sides until eventually being purchased by a prominent Givin Investor and Magnate in 900 ABY

Flint grunted at the firefight in satisfaction. Arrogant Jedi sought 'justice' but the Consortium's Howlrunners were all elite mercenaries. Gorba would buy him enough time. He was closing in on the crash site when a new and horrific threat presented itself. Shambling dead walkers, a gruesome mix of dead cartel thugs and slain civilians.

"Foul sorcery!" he snarled.

Annihilating a zombie with his disruptor pistol, the devaronian easily swung his laser axe one handed cutting down two more. Crushgaunts lent Flint extra strength to batter the mindless creatures aside while his crew unleashed a hail of blaster fire. His axe feasted on shambling corpses, burning through flesh with ease.

"Cut em down, pateesas!" Flint roared when the tide broke, bashing heads together, "Don't let these sleemos reach the spice!"

More pirates drew vibroblades and lascutters. He could see fear in their eyes, a fear of the supernatural he shared, but they feared him more. Flint was driven on by pride and greed. Coruscant must submit for the spice to flow. Desperate pleas and screams of pain buzzed on his comlink. He ignored them. Hutt Space mercenaries were cheap. Kessel spice was not.

    HISTORY
    Count Tenebris Bougaiza was born into one of the most powerful families on Isolationist Irmenu, the Bougaiza Dynasty. As a member of the aristocracy, Tenebris was raised with privilege and luxury from a young age. However, his upbringing was not solely focused on material wealth and status. The Bougaiza's were known for their deep commitment to education and intellect, and Tenebris was no exception. He was a diligent student, devouring any information she could get her hands on and excelling in her studies.

    At the age of twenty-three, Tenebris was appointed as head of the Bougaiza Household and quickly proved himself to be a skilled and savvy politician, adept at navigating the complicated web of alliance and powers struggles that defined the Irmenu Aristocracy. He was a staunch advocate for peace and stability and worked tirelessly to promote diplomacy and cooperation between different factions. Despite his youth and relative inexperience, Tenebris quickly developed a reputation as a rising star amongst the Nobles.

    The Bougaiza Household was immensely proud of his accomplishments and continued to support him as he claimed up the social ladder. Although his career took a dramatic turn when the Imperius Priesthood banded together with disgruntled noblemen and women in an attempt to exile him from the world. The Feudal Aristocracy was torn apart by conflicting loyalties and hidden agendas. Many nobles were forced to choose sides, and Tenebris found himself caught in the middle. He was fiercely loyal to his homeworld but also to his household, which had longstanding relationships with outsiders.

    As civil war threatened to erupt between his supporters and his enemies, Tenebris refused to take up arms against his own people but also refused to let his household loose their status. It was a difficult balancing act, and Tenebris faced pressure from both sides. Some accused him of being a traitor, while others saw him as a puppet to his family.

    In order to solve this challenge, Tenebris chose to exile himself from the planet while securing his families influence. Soon after becoming a padawan to an old Jedi Watchman named Jugar Gent, and beginning intense training as a Jedi for the New Jedi Order. He worked tirelessly to perfect his skills with both a lightsaber and the force even as war erupted across the galaxy. Although he was assigned away from the battlefield conducting diplomacy with various governments and factions in order to insure some level of peace.

    As the wars started to die down, Tenebris emerged as a respected figure within the New Jedi Order. With his tireless dedication to peace and diplomacy had earned him respect and admiration by many, and he was hailed as a hero by some. He continued to serve in the New Jedi Order for many years, using his position as a Jedi Master to promote unity and cooperation between different factions.

    Today, Tenebris is widely regarded as a master force user and skilled negotiator. Although he has subsequently left the New Jedi Order after the Battle of Exegol in order to follow the will of the force more closely and away from the Jedi Council who he sees as holding the jedi down.

    HISTORY
    Kartemur Qel-Somm was born on the world of Pammant within the Mon Calamari System to a family of engineers for the Free Dac Volunteers Engineering Corporation. As a member of the new aristocracy on Pammant, Kartemur was raised with privilege and luxury from a very young age. However, his upbringing was not entirely focused on material wealth and status, instead focusing on a deep commitment to education which allowed him to become a diligent student, devouring any information presented to him at the time.

    At the age of twenty-three, Kartemur would be elected to the Newly Established Viceroyalty proving himself to be a skilled and savvy politician; adept at navigating the complicated web of alliances and power struggles within the galaxy's political circles. He became a staunch advocate for peace and stability and worked tirelessly to promote diplomacy and cooperation between different factions. Despite apparent youth and relative inexperience, there was little doubt that a reputation was beginning to form.

    Slowly gaining experience and influence across his homeworld and the entire system through careful discussions and negotiations. Kartemur would seek new challenges and opportunities, even standing for a member of the Galactic Alliance Senate but ultimately failing to gain a seat due to political intrigue and sabotage from opposing electors on the planet. Althoguh such an outcome did not bother the quarren who instead focused on obtaining knowledge and leadership skills through watching others, taking careful notes on how to formulate a government without much corruption.

    He was then elected to the position of Lord Speaker of the Standing Parliament for a New Faction dubbed The Parliament of Autonomous Systems following the Democratic Party Agenda.

WEAKNESSES
  • Support Ship Function
    • While being a Support Ship can help in certain situations, the Foray Class II is not meant for frontline combat as the various systems and sub-systems integrated are classified as average for ease of mass-production and general affordability on the galactic open-market. Should it come face to face with a proper warship such as a heavy frigate or cruiser, then it will be destroyed quite easily.
  • Weapon Coverability
    • Another Key Weakness of the Foray Class II is that the weapon emplacements mounted on the starship can only really cover a frontal assault by an enemy vessel. Leaving it open to attacks from behind, so additional escort ships will be required in order for the blockade runner to preform its assignments smoothly.
DESCRIPTION

As the Galaxy continues to spiral into one war after another with the most recent conflicts being the Alliance-Enclave War, the Sith-Mandalorian Conflict, the Outer Rim Campaigns in 900 ABY. The need for a support ship able to run through blockades was considered paramount by Byblos Star Drives who began producing and introducing the Foray Class II Blockade Runner for the Galactic Market as a viable and affordable option to more heavier freighter vessels available.

The Support Frigate comes equipped with only average offensive weaponry and defensive systems designed to handle pirates and other vagabonds that pose a constant threat to the Galactic Trade Lanes while the Galactic Governments are distracted with open warfare across a dozen battlefields and star systems. Although its main assignment is to run through blockades in order to bring supplies and troops behind enemy lines to support besieged systems.

There are two things that are lacking on the mass-production model, the fact that its main role is a support ship and not an escort ship should be noted if one is using it in direct confrontations. It will suffer critical damage if it faces a proper warship without the protection of proper escort vessels. Another main concern is that the weapon emplacements on the Foray Class II are designed to handle only a frontal assault in order to punch a hole through a blockade, leaving it vulnerable to attacks from behind.

In the vast expanse of said galaxy, factions are locked in an intense battle for scarce resources across a dozen different sectors and sub-sectors of the galactic frontier. As a result, bounty hunting contracts have become increasingly popular amongst these governments, presenting a golden opportunity for starship manufacturers to dominate that market.

Recognizing this development, Byblos Star Drives took the initiative to develop a new breed of bounty hunting vessels that could meet the soaring demand. Introducing the KR-TB Doomtreader Class C to the Galactic Market, they aimed to offer a practical and cost-effective alternative to other personalized transports.

The Doomtreader Class C comes equipped with high level armament and defensive systems designed to engage with even the toughest of vessels, which might range from pirate cruisers to custom patrols corvettes which often patrol the Galactic Trade Lanes while the major Galactic Governments are distracted with open warfare. Although the main role of this vessel is to support the bounty hunting scene and not engage in direct fleet combat although it could be utilized for such a role if one was tactically smart enough.

There are two things that can be considered lacking on the mass-production model, the fact that it has a lower maneuverability than some of the other products by Byblos Star Drives which can impair the operators ability to dodge incoming heavier laser fire using evasive action. The second concern is that it has a low speed rating compared to other personalized transport models, making it unable to catch up with faster vessels of the starfighter classification.

Byblos Star Drives seized the opportunity to explore the Mandalorian Weapon Market despite opposition from MandalMotors and Kestri Hypernauntics to name a few, they managed to create a formidable battle cruiser that serves as a main attack vessel for Mandalorian Warriors across the galaxy.

This state-of-the-art vessel is outfitted with extensive weaponry specifically designed to take on the most formidable opponents within the galaxy, such as Imperial Remnants from the Old New Imperial Order and the Armada of the Sith Empire. While not the largest battle cruiser currently available on the galactic market, its extensive shielding and bulky armor make it enough of tank to overwhelm even 5,000 meter cruisers in enough numbers.


One cannot overlook the significant drawbacks of this vessel, primarily its limited maneuverability and sluggish speed. These shortcomings render it susceptible to being outmaneuvered on the battlefield, especially by a skilled tactician.

The Parliament of Autonomous Systems was formed to meet the needs of the average citizens within the galaxy which are ignored by the larger powers and dragged into conflict after conflict. They seek to reform the galaxy by conquest if necessary to bring about a true democratic revolution occasionally reenforced with imperialist idealisms to prevent anarchy.

At the
End of the Second Great Hyperspace War, and the great galactic calamity that claimed dozens of star systems and factions along with it, Imperials from the New Imperial Order/Empire, Corporations and depressed factions from the Galactic Alliance came together to formulate a new agenda to preserve the galaxy without the Interference of the Jedi and Sith Religious Orders.

A great wave of support has galvanized the faction with the first election of the Standing Parliament and the formation of the Parliamentary Armed Forces.

    Baroness Konstanze Dol Hollinse was born into a wealthy family in the Alliance Capital of Coruscant, She was destined for a life of luxury and privilege, drawn from a young age to the glamour and excitement of the galaxy's elite social circles, and quickly became a fixture at the most exclusive events and parties.

    With her striking looks and magnetic personality, she soon became one of the most sought-after socialites in the galaxy. Rubbing shoulders with everyone from high-ranking politicians from the New Imperial Order turned Empire and the Galactic Alliance, to even infamous crime lords and smugglers, and was always at the center of the latest gossip and scandal to use to her advantage on the climb up the social ladder.

    Despite her reputation as a harmless gossiper, Konstanze was also a shrewd businesswoman, with a keen eye for spotting new opportunities and investments. Her family's wealth and connections certainly helped, but it was her sharp mind and natural charisma that truly set her apart from her peers.

    Over the years, she has become something of a legend in socialite circles, with her name becoming synonymous with glamour, extravagance, and a certain reckless abandon. She continued to live life on her own terms, attending parties and events across the galaxy and always making headless wherever she went.

    Although soon the passage of time caught up with Baroness Konstanze who lacked the force to keep herself in pristine condition. Hiding her elderly face behind an ornate mask and being confined to a hoverchair due to her advanced age. Becoming bitter at the loss of social prestige with the end of the Second Great Hyperspace War. She has confined to herself that the only way to regain power and strength is through ownership of a large corporation.

    Thus she was elected by the Trade Federation to serve as its acting Director until Director Gat Tambor returned.
