Strengths:
  • Macgyver's Gun -
    • With a number of adjustments, customizations, and even types of tactical options to go into battle with, the weapon finds a nearly infinte prowess on the battlefield with its endless choices. From various sights of differing value, to extended magazines and comfort stock adjustment, all the way down to the end of the barrel attachtments that allow for fully tactile insertions into any enviroment. Whether it be fully entrenched ground warfare, or covert operations performed deep behind enemy cover, the Jackal will never cease and never fail. It is your choice in every encounter, because it can handle every encounter.
  • Chiss Engineering -
    • Utilizing the design for the 'Charric' rifles of the Chiss of old, Jaeger Solutions created a weapon who not only outdoes standard laser bolts in thermal energy, but doubling with kinetic backing to make most traditional polymer or ceramic armors ineffective. Even when faced with metal armor, the rounds will create a strong shock through, and harm the individuals themselves with little concern for the wielder. This kinetic ability too transfers over to lightsaber blockage, as the kinetic backing of the bolt forces so called 'Djem-So' experts to backpedal under a single blaster's pressure, effectively creating an anti-Lightsaber weapon in turn.
  • 'My Little Friend' -
    • The most effective, and dangerous, aspect of the weapon is its under-barrel buck shot sized Micro-Grenade's. Each fit into the inbuilt 'Keymaster' dubbed under-barrel shotgun meant to provide close quarters domination. Each round is filled with 8 individually produced Micro-Grenades, each with a fraction of standard sized grenades of the same reduced power; but still able to pack a deadly punch. From standard thermal rounds, to ion rounds, to even the dreaded flechette rounds, there is no limit to what you can put into the under barrel weapon.
Weaknesses:
  • Low Range -
    • Meant for traditional engagements, the Jackal is not built for long range assaults. Minimully effective over anything mid range, the weapon begins to lose accuracy and power even with a semi-automatic firing designation. Simply put, this is a foot soldier's bread and butter, not the sniper's surgical tool.
DESCRIPTION
Introducing the BR-212 “Jackal” ACR into Jaeger Solution’s endless repertoire, a fully built, tested, and applicable application in any scale of combat. A complete tactical package, the weapon can easily be explained and used in three parts, a blessing to the mass produced troops often employed by low budget militaries and a tool for any special forces that wander the galaxy with it. A powerful addition to any arsenal, it would seem;
To begin, the weapon is covered in a series of modularity rails and uplinks that allow for better combat in all forms, able to be customized to perfectly fit into a variety of situations. From scopes that allow for variable zooms, to end of the barrel adjustments like silencers and flash hiders there is no actual limit to what can be put on the weapon should it be designed for it. Even the standard stock can be adjusted in a omnidirectional manner to better allow complete comfort and accuracy for the wielder.
The next point of explanation is the specially designed action and firing mechanism. Based on the Chiss’s renowned ‘Charric’ designs, the weapon fired a bolt that held with it a strong kinetic backing. This in effect makes it extremely hard to deflect through lightsaber use, and doubly hard to stand against for armor that is resistant to more traditional blaster rounds. This kinetic backing also ruins any chance for ceramic or alloy based armors meant to resist the energy alone, as the physical manifestation of power is easily able to crack and dissolve the armor that it hits, should it not be prepared for it. Lastly, should it face metal armor that may serve to resist it, it would send a strong shock through the receiver, disabling the soldiers even if there was no direct damage in the situation.
To finish, the only other aspect of the weapon not previously explained is the underbarrel micro-grenade launcher that is able to be filled with a variety of explosives. First, the Micro-Grenade platform is something used more in the underworld bounty hunters than the overworld warfare scene, but Jaeger in true fashion sought to change this by bringing it to a fully mass produced military solution deemed fit for the galaxy as a whole. Each grenade is weaker than a standard thermal detonator styled explosive, but carries more punch in relative scale, but that is not where the difference ends. The Jackal is able to fire these is a semi-automatic fashion, back to back explosives over a small area effectively creating a short range mortar strike to the unsuspecting coward in cover. Still, even as the action of the weapon moves far past traditional grenade launchers, it is too able to hold a number of types of grenades depending on the situations; from Ion explosives meant for droids, to flechette meant for unarmored foes, to even standard practice micro-thermal detonators, so long as it can be put into a micro-grenade platform it can be fired from the weapon.
All in all, The Jackal weapon structure is a standard battle rifle intended for use in all aspects of war, with a capable backing in not only straight power, but tactical ingenuity. The only limitation the weapon faces is the user’s, and in them it will too find its greatest strength.

Low Ammo - Compared to traditional blaster rifles, the BR-212 "Jackal" ACR does suffer in ammo capacity by comparison. Although still far more than slugthrowers or even verpine shatter guns of the same style, it does suffer in tibanna gas reserves more than anything. To make up for this, an easy reloading mechanism has been offered through the traditional form factor of a 'magazine' holding the next gas cannister. Just swap the old for the new, and continue to fire.
If a weakness has an innate resolution to it, then it is hardly a weakness at all. Please remove this.

Remove the resolution, or the weakness as a whole?

Comparably, most blasters don't need to be reloaded during most conflicts due to the fact they have 500+ rounds in a single tibanna gas canister/energy cell. Comparably, being forced to carry backup magazines and reload mid combat seems like a viable weakness to me, but if you'd prefer a different wording or something else then be my guest.

The issue is listing a weakness that is negated by an inherent feature does not constitute a weakness. Plenty of chaos submitted blasters require frequent reloading, this is not much different in that regard. Given that this is simply a blaster with a couple of features I would rather you either replace the weakness or make it a viable one.
