- As with most Verpine Shatter Gun platforms, the ‘Vora’ is capable of delivering extreme amounts of kinetic damage with a minimally weighted round. Even with minimal training, a relatively untrained user of the handgun would be able to fire with excellent accuracy at a great distance given their control of the heavy status of the weapon. This makes it an excellent weapon for personal security, officers, and mainline sidearms for regular infantry.
In addition, its nearly soundless design and deadly precision make it an excellent choice for would be assassins and killers across the galaxy. Given only a moment's notice, and the proper aim, a murder could be committed with minimal effort or attention brought to the area of the crime. Truly an excellent handgun for the ages.

- Using technology borrowed from an infamous flechette pistol, the Vora incorporates a miniature laser tracking system that tagged the target with an electronic homing signature. This enables the weapon’s pellets to track and follow the target’s movements, adjusting mid-flight. These electronic homing signals are capable of being linked together through the wearer’s HUD (if worn), and shared with allies.

- Because of a specialized ammunition produced by Jaeger Solutions and associates, the ‘Vora’ is capable of firing not only kinetically damaging rounds, but rounds that hold a number of sick deliveries intended to murder or stun. From nerve gas to flashbang rounds, the tactical modularity of even its offensive capabilities make this an excellent choice for mainline troops and special forces alike.
- [-] Delicate:
- A staple weakness for all Verpine shatter guns. Rain, mud, and falls can ruin the delicate internal housing components of the Vora. Under inclement weather conditions, the Vora has been known to jam and takes a reasonable amount of time to clean and maintain, often becoming a staple for the weapon next to its immense prowess. This could often be because of a lack of engineering knowledge on Jaeger’s part, but more likely due to the many systems kept within its heavy form for computer’s sake.
- [-] Cumbersome:
- It’s a rather unwieldy firearm for most organic beings and can often result in hand-arm fatigue when operated for long durations. Close quarters combat with the Vora isn’t a recommended tactic.
- [-] Time to Track:
- When utilizing the tracking functionality of the Vora, a clear line of sight is required. Aiming the barrel at an enemy isn’t good enough for the electronic signal to be tagged, it takes a full five seconds of unobscured sight to successfully place a tag. While the weapon can be fired without the electronic homing signal, operators will notice greatly reduced accuracy.
Once more Jaeger Solutions has brought to the galactic field another truly beautiful weapon, now a sidearm for the masses. Heavy hitting, tactical and personalized, this weapon known simply as ‘The Vora’ is able to bring any mercenaries dreams to life with its delivery of death and carnage on the battlefield. The only thing that holds the weapon back is it's generally fragile internal mechanisms, and its massive size.
To begin, the Vora was built on the traditional Verpine Shatter Gun platform as so many before it, but in Jaeger’s usual fashion they sought to expand on the already brutal design and add their own flavor to the mix. Dropping the renown of the ‘multi-caliber magazine and bore’ in exchange for specialized ammunition, they sought to bring customers trust of the weapon back through additional alterations that bring the archaic design into the new era. From the underbarrel and overbarrel rail systems for attachments of various sorts, to the auto targeting system incorporated for brutal work, there is no limit to the comfort and enjoyment of the weapon; something Jaeger has brought to armies everywhere.
Mixing this fashion and technology in one package, the Vora is complimented by a “smart-tracking” feature from the FWG-5 flechette pistol. Using a miniaturized laser tracking system that tagged the target with an electronic homing signal. This signal, takes five (5) seconds of unobscured sight to successfully tag a target. Once this target has been locked, the signal allows the pellets to adjust mid-flight to track the target’s movements. However, for this tracking system to work, the Vora must be using specialized pellets.
Suffice to say, The Vora is a weapon capable of extreme damage in the right hands, and one that is able to be committed across the galaxy in the coming wars. To each who buy into it, the best, and those who receive it, the worst; for if Jaeger knows anything, it knows war.
And this handgun is war.
