HISTORY
Aether, an ancient Shard from Orax, is a silicon-based lifeform, naturally attuned to the Force yet initially bound to a crystalline stationary existence. Seeking to impact the galaxy, Aether was embedded into a custom droid body to explore, learn, and shape the worlds beyond. After eons of wandering, Aether's journey ended abruptly in a brutal skirmish that left his body damaged and forgotten on a desolate planet.
During this battle, a void stone became lodged deep within his chassis, trapping him in a state of tortured dormancy. Conscious yet suppressed, Aether fought relentlessly against the void stone's oppressive field, his essence clawing at the edge of reality, straining to be heard or seen—a silent scream from within a personal hell, persisting over the centuries.
Years later, Braze discovered what appeared to be a lifeless droid shell in a remote junk shop. Unaware of the Shard's presence, Braze felt a peculiar draw to it and purchased it, intrigued by its unique design. While working to repair the droid, Braze inadvertently released Aether from his prison of silence.
