DESCRIPTION
Designed to be a backbone, force multiplier, small flagship, patroller, or most other roles that an owner of this vessel could think of, the Acklay-class cruiser is a jack-of-all-trades designed to function in various roles within fleets. Having a similar design to other CST warships, the cruiser has a mix of firepower and hanger space that lets them handle themselves quite well in many operations. Being armed with twin turrets armed with PC-2 "Blackout" particle cannons, an IB-X72 ion cannon, and twin laser turrets allows for an effective range of fire, while the coilguns can allow the cruiser to throw up a flak cloud for defense. Along with this, the cruiser features a mid-set hanger that could store a squadron of support craft, two fighter squadrons, and a variable bay.

It is important to note the Acklay isn't without it's issues. The vessel isn't agile, and this adds the extra difficulty to aiming the Ísabrot cannon. On top of this, the power draw of the cannon can overload the power systems under long periods of continuous fire.
