STORY TIMELINE

CHILD OF THE SHIPYARDS

Allyson Locke was born into an ordinary Corellian family. Her parents worked in the shipyards, where her father's love for starships quickly found its way into his daughter. She spent much of her childhood wandering the yards, watching vessels take shape piece by piece and learning how every component fit together.

Her talent became impossible to ignore when she dismantled one of her father's worker droids and rebuilt it to run faster. Rather than punish her, Mr. Locke began bringing home more machines for her to repair. He and Allyson's mother saw the makings of a gifted engineer and began laying out the future they believed she should have.

Allyson never felt like that future belonged to her.

Her parents enrolled her in a private academy for gifted students, where she performed well enough but spent most of her time staring through the windows. While instructors lectured, Allyson watched ships rise from the ports and disappear into the sky. The shipyards had taught her how vessels were made. The academy only made her desperate to learn where they could take her.

Eventually, she stopped waiting. Allyson ran away from home and slipped aboard a departing freighter.

She was already elbow-deep in the ship's machinery when its captain found her.

The captain was Ember Rekali. Instead of immediately returning the young stowaway to Corellia, Ember recognized something familiar in her—a restless child with too many dreams to remain where she had been placed. Allyson was also remarkably useful for her age, particularly whenever the ship needed repairs.

Life aboard Ember's vessel introduced Allyson to something she had never fully understood: the Force.

For years, she had heard voices around machines and quietly wondered if something was wrong with her. Ember helped her understand that she was not losing her mind. The machines really were speaking to her, or as close to speaking as machinery could manage.

Her connection manifested through mechu-deru, allowing her to sense, understand, and influence technology through the Force. It was the only ability she could use with any real control. Everything else came in accidental bursts—unpredictable "sneezes" of power that appeared whenever instinct or emotion overwhelmed her.

Allyson chose to remain with Ember's crew. Before she could decide what that meant for the family she had left behind, Akala attacked Corellia.

She could only watch as the world she knew was torn apart.

The devastation left Allyson without a home or family to return to. She clung to Ember afterward, though he carried enough trouble within his own family to understand that neither of them could remain dependent upon the other forever.

When they separated, Ember left Allyson with a ship of her own.

Allyson threw herself into helping displaced Corellians find somewhere safe to begin again. Her service earned her the Second Class Corellian Bloodstripe, which she wore as both an honor and a reminder. Corellia was broken, but its people remained. If Allyson could not return to the life she had known, she would carry what survived of it with her.

She continued into the galaxy with little more than her ship, her bloodstripes, and the stubborn belief that she would eventually discover who she was supposed to become.

BAIT, BORLEIAS, AND KAILI TALITH

Somewhere along the way, Allyson discovered a BB-unit she named Bait. Repairs brought her into contact with droid maker Kaili Talith, beginning a three-day whirlwind that blurred the line between professional interest, friendship, and something neither woman was prepared to name.

Allyson later found work as a book clerk on Borleias, though ordinary employment did little to curb her appetite for trouble. A heist on Elrood introduced her to Arlan Zy'rosh, while another adventure carried her to Cato Neimoidia alongside the baby-faced Lok.

When Allyson returned to Borleias, she also returned to Kaili. Their uncertain attachment finally became an official relationship.

It did not make Allyson any easier to keep in one place.

THE ROGUE

Ember eventually summoned Allyson for an expedition to Crina. She continued making trips back to Borleias to see Kaili, but the distance between them grew with every departure. Kaili disliked the risks Allyson took and frequently forced her to choose between their relationship and the work that kept calling her away.

Their disagreements eventually brought them to Yavin, where Kaili demanded sanctuary from Ember. Allyson continued flying and ultimately joined Rogue Squadron. She remained with the unit until her developing affinity for concealment and Force-based stealth marked her as useful for something beyond the cockpit.

She fought beside the Galactic Alliance through invasions and rebellions, placing herself in increasingly dangerous situations. Every campaign placed further strain upon her relationship with Kaili, but Allyson found it harder to walk away from the fight than from the woman waiting for her to come home.

Then the SIS came calling.

NO FAMILY, NO ATTACHMENTS

The Strategic Intelligence Service did not merely train Allyson. It dismantled her.

Her conditioning was both physical and psychological, built around the belief that an operative could not afford a family, a home, or attachments that might be used against her. The agency ensured that she could no longer have children, severing another possible tie to an ordinary life before she had truly decided whether she wanted one.

Her first mission ended with her capture by Darth Carnifex. During her torture, Allyson was forced to experience the deaths of those she loved within her own mind. The ordeal reinforced everything the SIS had taught her: loving someone gave the enemy a weapon, and remaining with Kaili might eventually get her killed.

Allyson began wondering whether leaving Kaili was the only way to protect her.

On Anoat, she fought against the First Order aboard a contested space station. Once it became clear that the station could not be captured, Allyson helped evacuate those aboard before assisting in its destruction. She was thrown into space during the operation and nearly died.

She survived, but lost between four and six years of her memory.

THE YEARS SHE COULD NOT REMEMBER

Allyson was returned to Kaili's care without any memory of their shared history or the relationship they had built. While attempting to recover, she encountered Arisa Yune again—a Kiribian Jedi who had moved in and out of Allyson's life before the loss of her memories.

Old feelings resurfaced even when the memories attached to them did not.

Despite Kaili's objections, Allyson returned to active service and rejoined the SIS. She began working closely with Jyoti Nooran and the Silver Jedi Order. For her actions at Anoat, she was awarded the First Class Corellian Bloodstripe.

As part of her rehabilitation, Allyson relocated to Kashyyyk. Jyoti and the Silver Circle oversaw her recovery while helping her rebuild her connection to the Force. During this period, Allyson also discovered her K'paur heritage and began to understand another part of herself that had remained buried.

She claimed to have left the Galactic Alliance and the SIS behind, but the separation was never entirely honest. Instead, she joined the Silver Jedi Order and Onyx Squadron as a liaison, carrying one foot in the Jedi world and the other in intelligence.

It was a balance she would spend years pretending she could maintain.

THE JEDI SHADOW

Allyson became a Jedi Shadow, putting her talent for stealth, infiltration, and mechu-deru to use against threats most Jedi could not approach openly.

Her relationship with Kaili eventually ended. They remained friends for a time, though distance and the lives they chose slowly pulled them out of contact.

With Jyoti's guidance, Allyson became more connected to the Force and began her formal studies as a Jedi. She trained in fleet command alongside her work in the shadows and eventually earned the rank of Jedi Knight.

Even then, Allyson never belonged entirely to the Order. She stepped away to investigate personal leads connected to her missing memories, only to return while maintaining ties to organizations beyond the Jedi. Her allegiance remained with the light, but her methods rarely fit comfortably within its boundaries.

One promising lead drew her into the unknown, where she disappeared for some time. The search continued long after the trail went cold. Eventually, Allyson accepted that she might never recover everything she had lost, though she never fully stopped looking.

During her self-imposed exile, she continued training and eventually reached the strength and understanding expected of a Master of the Force.

LOVE IN THE GAPS

During these wandering years, Allyson met Kat. What followed was an uncertain, on-and-off relationship with the Echani, defined as much by their separations as the time they spent together.

Allyson continued chasing fragments of her missing past, withdrawing whenever another lead surfaced. That habit eventually cost her the secret relationship she had formed with Jyoti. Jyoti ended things after confronting a truth Allyson could not answer: Allyson could not give her what she needed.

Worse, Jyoti questioned whether Allyson had ever truly loved her at all, or whether she had only loved the pieces of Arisa Yune that seemed to linger within Jyoti's personality and subconscious.

It left Allyson with another broken relationship and another reason to disappear into her work.

INTO THE DARK

Allyson was eventually tasked with returning to the outskirts of the galaxy. Her mission was to embed herself within scattered remnants of the Sith, learn what was stirring beyond familiar borders, and report whatever she uncovered before it could become a greater threat.

Spying gave her somewhere to go, a purpose to follow, and enough danger to keep her from looking too closely at everything she had left behind.

That remained her life until she received a call from someone she never expected to hear from again.

An old squadron mate.

Loske.
