Negotiating a Trade Route

The Elysium Imperium and the Silver Jedi Concord have a long-standing alliance that benefits both parties on multiple facets. They benefit from trade agreements, cultural integration, shared education, and most obviously, a military partnership. But newly brought into the fold is the Nomadic People's Coalition - a small nation in it's own right that spurred from the spacefaring culture on Damascus Station. Since the Praeda System was willingly annexed by the Elysium Imperium, the Nomads recognize the importance of participating in the Imperium economy, and wish to export/import with the Imperium's greatest ally, the Concord. This is done in the hopes of bringing in more wealth and providing more taxes for The King to make themselves more indispensable to him. In order to move the high volume of goods that is required to do this, a secure trade route with appropriate infrastructure must be established.

Representatives from all parties, the Elysium Imperium, the Silver Jedi Concord will all meat to discuss the finer details of this meeting. However, some members have high bounties on their heads. Members of the infamous Dobson Family are reported to be arriving on Crucible Station for the talks, and leaving their home on Damascus station puts them at grave risk. Protecting the Dobsons could prove to be difficult, should any bounty hunters arrive.

Objective 1:

Negotiate a trade route from Damascus Station, near Anvil, to Hoylin.

Objective 2:

Collect the bounty on the Dobsons that are present by apprehending them.

Objective 3:

Protect the Dobsons from getting apprehended by bounty hunters.

Objective 4:

That Bastard.

That was all the droid could think of as he leaned back onto the nearby wall. Work had slowed down considerably in the last year and it was expected. He had become a supplier towards the Elysium Empire after his breakaway from the Brotherhood of the Maw. The issue was his processors just could not output any design worth mentioning. Most, if not all of his work occurred in the last few months have been refit work. No matter how many times he purged his directory, he could only think of one thing.

That Rat Bastard Dobson.

The downfall that occurred near the Spindle IV sector had made his entire droid brain refuse to forget it. That moronic family member had charged in and caused a whole mess, a mess that he still was cleaning up to this day. His own fleet had faced almost true decimation, his entire memory core damaged when he had to buy the entire fleet time. His droid body were almost in complete ruins, his entire core unit was facing salvage.

The last year, he was merely a droid brain in a damn jar! He could not pick anything up to write, he could not even motion with others properly, always misinterpting and ruining plan after plan of his designs! Painstacking memory sectors shut down to preserve each ship design writing, painstackinly having to reprogram datapads with only his droid brain to even get a simple point across!

All due to that Rat Bastard Dobson!

Slowly putting his Mandalorian Blaster back into his holster, he gently held with his left hand the Cryo Cross Projector as he patiently waited. It had been a year and two morons were in the running for the ass kicking of a lifetime today. One of them...apparently would be here at some point, very shortly. There was a bounty on their heads, sure, every Dobson had done something to completely screwball the entire affair of the Elysium Empire, but he did not care for that. A simple lesson, was all he wanted to teach today.

The Crown Princess sighed heavily and pushed away from the expansive viewport in her quarters, spying they had arrived at their destination. Her shuttle was more than likely already ready in the hanger, and they had work to do.

The Imperium and the Silver Jedi were in talks to extend a trade route between their territories to gain trade and rapid access to eachother in their alliance, and the Sakurans were coming to hopefully benefit from the dealings as well.

Tsubasa had brought along Dax for a=some much needed support, and the two Sakuran-held Dobsons as her personal retinue, thinking they would like a reprieve from Akarui itself. Her brother and sister were tagging along as well, Ojo wanting to explore and Oji not permitted to leave her side as punishment.

Her main assistance were her two council members, Mari Ohara and Eli Ayase, the human and Akaran respectively were more well versed in monetary matters than she and here their knowledge would be needed. Nozomi was along for the ride as well, and the Empress-to-be was happy to have her.

Her path to the hanger took her no time at all, and she approached the shuttle being prepped, Chika was speaking to the pilot when she walked up,"Is everything ready for our departure?"

Chika and the pilot both turned and bowed respectfully,"Almost Your Grace, we have sent summons to the rest of the official party and the guards are staged and ready."

Tsubasa smiled widely, a slight pause at the formal greeting,"Amazing as always Commander. I will await their arrival on the shuttle. Wish us luck!" and she stepped up the ramp tossing a wave over her shoulder.

Objective: 1

Willow and Ivy had arrived the day before the meeting was to take place. After a near capture by the bounty hunters Karkosuchus and Isidor Justeene Isidor Justeene on Damascus Station, the siamese twins had to be more cautious. Of course they didn't come alone. Outside of others from Damascus, the two were flanked by Chopper and Chappie that remained with them at all times. Despite the dogs being droid in nature, the twins carried quite the affection for them. Just as they did with any of the Steel Angels that they encountered.

The twins were prophets of the Navis Sacra religion; one that enshrines ships as the great protectors of all. No longer were their abilities being used by the Hutt Crimelords. No longer were they held in Hutt palaces or the like to advise them on how to further their violent and oppressive conquests. And no longer did they have to worry about answering to the disappearance of Broka the Hutt whom was their former employer.

The Navi protects.

And if all went well, they would protect the trade route as well as Damascus Station.

Willow and Ivy were dressed in silver and blue robes that draped around their conjoined figures. The fingers of their innermost hands were intertwined as they walked the corridor towards the meeting hall.

"Chopper, Chappie, both of you must be on your best behaviours, okay?"

"Yes. The webs of the Force have shown us colours of danger, however it does not appear to be directed at us today."

"But still be watchful in case that changes."

"This will be our first encounter with the Silvers. Isn't it exciting, Willow?"

"Oh yes! I hope that they like our silver robes!"

The twins gave eachother an excited grin while their dogs kept pace beside them. They were eager for the meeting to begin.

Objectives: 1 & 3

Lori's ship Jaster's Delight entered one of the hangers as soon as clearance was given. On board with her was her bodyguard Arla, as well as Viken Dobson Viken Dobson . After the bounty was placed on his head by her husband Rex Valhoun Rex Valhoun , she had decided to keep him close. Such a thing made her wonder if he'd soon think that she was having an affair with him too, as he did with Var-Sulis Var-Sulis . However one big difference was that Var had fallen for her, while Viken preferred to be a loner. Still, Viken was the head engineer of her company Dar'manda Industries and she wasn't about to lose him because of a temper tantrum.

In her last meeting with the Silvers, Lori was demoted to that of arm candy to her husband, with her words falling on deaf ears. Would the same happen today? Not likely. She wasn't sure if Rex was even going to attend. She didn't wait to find out. Establishing trade routes was both a business and political venture. Most outside governments referred to her as being a nobody politically, so she was here mostly for business.

Well that and trying to keep her friends safe. Damascus Station could only be a safe haven for so long. It was better if both Viken and Dorthea Dobson Dorthea Dobson weren't there all the time. The same can be said with Var too. So this was a great opportunity to try to keep people guessing as to their whereabouts.

"I need you to watch over my friends closely, Arla. Moreso than me while we're here."

"You know that goes against my programming, Captain."

"I know...Just try to override it for today. Please?"

"I cannot promise that."

"I know. And that's good enough for me." Lori knew that she was asking the impossible, but it still didn't hurt to ask. Arla could end up surprising her. It was difficult to say. It all depended on if anything went down. But hopefully not!

They both unbuckled their restraints after powering down the Jaster's Delight and exited the cockpit to the lounge where more than likely Viken was sitting there trying to ignore everything.

Crucible Station - Objective 2
Another day, another hunt. Oya!

Tracking most of the wanted Dobson's hadn't been hard.

They weren't the sort of black market, underworld scum that filled bounty boards across the stars, like the majority of Juno's more recent marks, since her adventures with a pair of renowned Karj'r on Tatooine. They were a more sophisticated type of criminal, cut from a much finer cloth. Some of them were even upstanding people by all accounts, given a more liberal definition of upstanding. But they had a bounty on their heads, regardless- posted at the behest of a King, no less- and Juno meant to cash in.

The young Y'ivra had been on the Crucible for a few days now, scouting out the various buildings in the housing center and the trade hub on the station's third tier, roving the bustling concourses, periodically checking her tracking fobs for a hit and her datapad for updates on the big 'meeting' where her targets would be gathered, albeit protected by heavy security, to say nothing of the Jedi that might be in attendance. That all the Dobson's had registered chain codes was a boon- it meant finding them was just a matter of getting close enough, which in itself was just a matter of gathering intel. It also meant that any bounty hunter who took the job could find them too, once he or she was in the vicinity, which meant competition.

So she kept her ears peeled and her eyes opened, not only for her targets, but for other hunters sniffing in on her prize. As far as she knew, anybody with a blaster might be the opposition. She had to be patient with this one. Take her opportunities as they came, instead of trying to force them. There was no room for mistakes, not with so many unknown quantities involved.

It was Kwenn Station all over again. Except this time, she had back up, in the form of a massive, rogue Jedi Knight-turned-mercenary. If the woman could keep her volatile emotions in check, she'd be a great boon to the task at hand.

"Alright Saff Saff , we've got our work cut out for us. This was an open bounty so there's no telling what might happen when the ball gets rolling. Mark my words... this is going to get messy."

Emberlene's Daughter, The Jedi Generalist
Objective 1

The newest of the grandmasters, well it was a strange feeling as she had duties now that required her beyond just sitting there and needed to quell her wanting to go out and explore esoteric force orders and bring their knowledge into the jedi to teach and improve upon certain things within her Jadeite. Here though they were using her station as an improved upon design. Though she stood there and looked out on it from the shuttle arriving. the crucible was one of the stations they had made. Few saw the wonder that was The Ancilla but she could provide a different wonder. for the the one was bringing all of them together Grand Shepherd Burtch Grand Shepherd Burtch .

"Is all ready?" She asked looking at the Praestigiae Ginnregin in the hold of the shuttle as it was arriving. THe gift since they ahd developed it and improved upon the design. It was almost as useful as the crate of Purified Coaxium they developed to entice the trades. "We are approaching Grandmaster Ike." The voice was cold and careful as her bodyguards. Project Herald soldiers stood in their augmented lightside armor.. thick and heavy with a dedication to protecting light and life. THe jedi grandmaster was dwarfed by them... usually by most as she stood to her full five foot statue next to the heralds who were nearly waist high.

The shuttle arriving as she had assembled the closest to who would be able to help here. Gir Quee Gir Quee who was good for business and Sor-Jan Xantha Sor-Jan Xantha that had experience with this. She was looking to get some others who would be able to help but the assembly was largely reorganizing themselves after the attack. She didn't know if any of them were going to be able to make it. "Welcome back creator." The voice of the Saotome Biot MK.IV came as one of the overseers of the station able to coordinate the other biots. Different then the models that would become the neutralizers and attack the silver rest. These ones were programmed to protect light and life.

"It is good to be back." She said it as the shuttle docked and the grandmaster started walking as the airlick of the shuttle opened and she stood in silver robes. For ornamentation her sabers on her hips but she rarely needed to use Senbonzakura or Haineko. The blade gleaming with the solarite metal.

Objective 1 & 3

The Gospel Class Dropship touched down in the hangar bay of the Crucible Station without incident. The ramp was lowered and seven figures strolled out and into the bay. There were four armoured soldiers — knights, according to the Navis Sacra — two droid dogs, two floating protocol droids, and a single woman in a uniform.

The woman, Dorthea, was beginning to feel more or less uncomfortable with her old Elysium Empire Navy uniform. While she no longer technically held a navy commission, it still offered excellent protection, and was appropriate for the occasion. She was here to help represent the Nomadic Peoples Coalition in their new status as a state within the Elysium Imperium, and the uniform helped to reinforce that image. Underneath, she wore her body armour — a gift from the bimmisaari for her role in facilitating the alliance between Elysium and the Concord — and on her arm was strapped a combat energy shield. Hidden within the folds of her outfit was a small holdout blaster, and her favourite little protocol droid, ECP-44, or Grunty was always running sensor scans to give her as much warning as possible.

With a bounty on her head, and the recent attempt to capture the Prophets Willow & Ivy Willow & Ivy , she was beginning to take her security very seriously. The four knights had offered to provide extra security under Bacceercha’s command, and Dorthea didn’t have a hard time saying “yes”. Bacceercha was a good soldier, who had helped rescue the twins, arrested Rex Valhoun Rex Valhoun on her command, and was a leading example of what a Holy Knight should be in the Navis Sacra Faith. All-in-all, she felt relatively safe with her current setup.

A small ping sound came from her pocket and she knew that a map of the area had been loaded to her datapad, thanks to an inquiry from her protocol droid. She pulled it out of her pocket and began directing her entourage to the location of the meeting.

Clank. Chink. Clank. Chink.

The noises of his boots, having small spurs on the back would resonate in the hallway. One of his cameras picked up one of the Dobsons, one that he could...question. The droid that Dorthea Dobson Dorthea Dobson would start to scan on sensors a droid heading their direction. Rounding the corner around twenty feet away, the droid known as Haon Hafey would be holding with both hands the Cross Cyro Projector. There was a flick on the side as it was changed to Stream setting, aiming it forward as he spoke out loud, voice amplified to echo a few hallways down.

The droid, did not sound happy.

"Don't move...this Cyroban Projector will freeze anyone solid and is on stream setting. I pull this trigger, half of this hallway will turn into an ice cave. I am only asking this once...where the sithspawn is Brodan or that pathetic Omar. I got a score to settle with those waste of brain matter. Tell me where they are and you won't have to see an early ice age!"

Haon was dressed up in what could be considered old Western attire, himself being a former Metal Lord, some strange quirks exist from living past what most would achieve. The Cross Cyro Projector also was nearly half his size in bulk, looked heavy and pulsed a gentle blue. It was obvious it was not a bluff as it appeared to be frost emanating from the front of the barrel.

Given the recent meeting involving the Dobson Family and his Sister Loreena Arenais-Valhoun Loreena Arenais-Valhoun , Caedyn had not expected to be so involved in another incident between them and the leadership of the Elysium Empire nearly so soon. Especially while assisting the Order of the Silver Jedi in diplomatic relations with the aforementioned Empire aboard the Crucible Station, an appropriately named facility given the Jedi Knight's expectations for what might follow if things were to get out of hand.

Rather than donning his usual Je'daii garb, Caedyn had decidedly gone with a more subtle getup that would help him blend in with the locals of the Station, keeping the hilt of his Lightsaber hidden beneath his jacket whereas his blaster would remain secured against his hip in its leather holster strapped to the right leg and attached at the belt.

Making his way through the open deck of what appeared to be some form of a marketplace for citizens coming and going from the Station, Caedyn kept his eyes sweeping the crowd, looking for any sign of his sister's being there or the dobsons who Caedyn had met already. Hell, even the furball with the humourous nicknames for Caedyn would have been a glad sighting.

There was also the question of whether or not Rex Valhoun Rex Valhoun would be present. Given the use of Bounty Hunters, Caedyn doubted it, yet their last and only meeting hadn't been the most pleasant with the evolving situation between him and Loreena, the Dobsons and some form of conspiracy going on behind the scenes there. Caedyn lacked more details than he was comfortable with, and perhaps tracking the Dobsons down around these parts might help to shed some truth on the situation so that he could be of proper aid to his sister in the bigger picture.

Saffron wasn't the best at intel gathering. It was hardly the height of her skillset, as large and as powerful as she was, it was the work one had to do before a mission that she fell behind on, and today, that problem was circumvented by her well-armoured partner in apprehending crime. With a glance to the helmeted source of the voice, she nodded firmly. She wasn't the type to act out, though she did happen to lose herself in a fight at times - so long as nothing got out of hand, she would be fine.

Although stations scarcely suited her, she wasn't about to let a payday like this slip her by.

"I hear ya," she began, arms folding as she looked over the path around them, she didn't think anything looked out of order.

"How long till we get eyes on them though? I can't make heads or tails of station layouts on the best of days," she huffed, glancing back at her armoured companion

Objective 1

Burtch and his entourage arrived in a Val Khaar Corvette. The corvette was provided a small squadron of Imperium Navy ST multi role starfighters, and had a moderate, if mostly spotless service record. But it wasn’t Burtch’s ship. His own ship, the famous HMS Shii-Cho, was, for some Force-forsaken reason still undergoing refits and repairs for the past year now. It baffled his mind to think of how long it was taking to complete the work on his beloved cruiser, but whenever he inquired about it, he got stonewalled. The followers of the Navis Sacra Religion were very protective of the “LadyShii-Cho, and they had endeavoured to “elevate” her to some higher plane of existence within the religion. Burtch had tried his best to figure out what was going on, but the Navis had said the process required solitude for Shii-Cho to complete her ascension properly.

Burtch would have pressed the issue harder, using his rank within the Nomadic Peoples Coalition and the Elysium Imperium, but Captain Treyfa had seen the work with her own eyes, for some reason. She had assured Burtch that the refits, or ascension as it was being called, was in Shii-Cho’s best interest. While Burtch didn’t personally like Treyfa, per se, he trusted her with his ship. She was the only other person than himself that could truly understand just how special Shii-Cho truly was.

So he and his group disembarked the corvette upon docking and began to make their way to the meeting. Krristaa’s little protocol droid hovered along, while Daro Roz’yrn’s modified battle dog companion padded along dutifully.

Late. Again. He was always late. One would have thought following his speech to The Imperium giving promises of strength in diplomacy that he would have broken the habit of being late to such meetings but nope. Here he was, the same old Rex Valhoun that had inherited an Empire. Well, not entirely the same. He was learning more and more each day. For example it was now clear to him that there was no one that could be trusted...even those he considered friends could betray him over simple disagreements.

Today would be the third encounter with Loreena within a month. The last two hadn't gone well. He hadn't been able to find any common ground with her. The First time he backed down, agreeing that she could speak with The Imperial Bloc and rally support for dropping some warrants. The Second time was supposed to be a diplomatic meeting with The Nomadic People's Coalition, but Dorthea Dobson kicked him out of Damascus Station, and Loreena took over negotiations. She was just too stubborn, something he knew when he accepted the arranged marriage. He had never expected it to be a problem, but now that he had an Empire to protect...it was becoming a problem.

But maybe things would go differently this time. He had good relations with The Silver Jedi Concord, despite only one major meeting which took place on Bimmisaari. They had established free trade and even a light mutual defense pact there. Today they would be discussing another trade route, but this time in involved The Nomadic Peoples Coalition, because they had somehow gained independence despite being smack in the middle of Imperium territory. The Imperium made some gains, but in the end it was a terrible deal. At least Loreena would, or at least should, be happy that she got to do something important. Apparently he hadn't given her enough to do. Apparently giving her complete freedom as Queen of The Imperium was equal to using her as "arm candy".

Rex sighed as he departed from his transport, an
Elysium X-Class Fighter this time rather than the stealth transport he often utilized. As he jumped down from the cockpit, one may have caught a glimpse of his lightsaber...the only weapon he carried with him to this meeting. Today he had chosen to dress like a Knight from The Order of The Lion with the intent to fit in a bit more with the Jedi that would no doubt be present. This included a hooded robe over otherwise formal attire.

He made his way to the meeting.

Arken's orders. It was always Arken's Orders. Severus Dobson continued cursing his father's name under his breath as he walked down the hall leading to the meeting room where his stupid sister Dorthea and her idiot friend Loreena Arenais would be negotiating for their group of Nomadic freaks. Meanwhile Rex Valhoun would be negotiating for his tyranny-infested Imperium. The goal was to create a trade route with The Silver Jedi Concord. Why Severus had to be present at this stupid meeting was unknown to him. The best he had gotten from his father was that he was to help this Nomadic People's Coalition (Of freaks) with their negotiations.

Maybe the goal was to befriend this coalition, similar to how his family had befriended The Empire under Heath Valhoun. It would allow them to sink their teeth into the massive profits to be had from Damascus Station. It made sense, but Severus would still rather be having a party in The Galactic Alliance, far far from the bounty hunters and ruthless King that wanted him dead. Besides, with Dorthea and Viken being so friendly with this Nomadic Coalition, it'd be hard to earn any trust. Surely those two would whisper lies into the ears of those in charge about how terrible Arken is. On the other hand, if those two could earn the trust of The N.P. Coalition, it meant The N.P. Coalition was open to The Dobson family.

But couldn't Arken send Linn, or Omar? Why did it have to be him?

In Brodan’s exile, he had been little more than a humiliated servant in the Sakuran Empire, and he was miserable. Being raised as a Dobson in the lap of luxury, serving in such a manner was beneath him entirely. He was a navy officer! Given the best education that money could by, and with all the best connections that his father and uncle could offer! Some day, he would rise above this and take his revenge on those that put him here, and he would have his commission once again!

… except, non of that was possible. He was exiled from the Elysium Imperium, never allowed to return, he was granted nothing more than the role of a common servant, and lastly, the woman that had sentenced him to this horrible life was already dead. All he had left in his life was this crummy job, and he hated it. He hated it more than anything.

Crucible Station: Objective 2
Well hello there, meatbag...
Hachi watched the scene unfold from beneath the wide brim of its beskar head shield with its singular, glowing, red eye.

A male meatbag, clearly maddened by drugs, had leveled a cryo-cannon at a female meatbag who was flanked by four armored meatbags and four droids, two of them designed to resemble canines. Normally, Hachi wouldn't have cared if a bunch of meatbags slaughtered each other. It was not programmed to care for random meatbags. But the female meatbag was Dorthea Dobson, and she was a target.

Its sensors had registered the ping from the chain codes that it had uploaded into its arrays the moment Dorthea stepped from the hangar, but it had backed off, calculating the odds of a successful capture as less than 23.5678914%, rounded to the nearest decimal. It was sure it could take the armored meatbags in a fight, given its integrated ordnance- in fact, it was over 94.4832% certain, but it would likely have to go all out to do so, and Dorthea and a great many of the surrounding fleshbags most likely wouldn't survive the destruction, and the Dobson was wanted both alive and unharmed.

Hachi didn't do unharmed. By nature, meatbags were frail and easily broken. If you asked Hachi, they needed a full gamut of extensive upgrades, though armor certainly helped. But not all meatbags were frail. Then again, the Sith were not normal meatbags, where they? Its creator had been a true terror, and it had never managed to kill little Daxa, though not for lack of trying.

<Hachi to Darth Strelok. This one has its eye on Dorthea Dobson.>

When computing the bounty success rates, Hachi had surmised that without either a significant increase to its ability to channel the Force, or the assistance of a second hunter, it would be doomed to failure, save for the intervention of the meatbag hallucination known as 'luck'. And since it did not know how to enslave Tsil crystals, nor how to bind them together, or if such was even possible, and it certainly wouldn't depend on luck, it had sought a partner, and settled on the Sith bounty hunter known formerly as Maple Harte Maple Harte .

Of course, Hachi knew not to trust the Sith- they were treacherous by nature- so they had arrived separately with the intentions of, after capturing the targets, splitting them between their ships. In the meantime, that meant they were able to cover more ground for the hunt. It was a moot point now, though, because Hachi was certain that Dorthea would lead it to the others.

<The target is well protected and currently being threatened by a poorly dressed meatbag presumably under the influence of a mind-altering substance. In all probability, the meatbag will be be terminated. This one suggests patience. Dorthea will lead this one to the other targets.>

Cassian Andor, approaching the space station

The corvette glided through space towards the massive space station, a miniscule vessel compared to some of the other vessels present, let alone the meeting place. Yet onboard the ship, he felt the most secure. He was surrounded by friends and loyal soldiers, and at a moment's notice, the Andor could disappear from the greater galaxy. Once onboard the station, that would all change, and not for the better, in his opinion.

"What do you think of this Dobson hunt?" asked Sariya, "chance for a spare credit or two?"

Gir frowned, "You might find some favor with the Elysium Empire, but internal politics are...shall we say, complicated?"

Ariela shook her head, "You would be better off avoiding any unnecessary complications, if you can."

"It'll make things easier for us," agreed Gir.

"You guys are no fun," half-mocked the echani.

Gir raised an eyebrow in mock derision, "You expected these negotiations to be fun?"

"Not for me," groaned the woman, "maybe for you bean-counters."

The ship's intercomm briefly buzzed overhead, "We've successfully docked with the Crucible Station. All crew with authorized leave are clear to depart, and remember, be careful with who and what you bring back. Captain Davos out."

The trio quickly departed from the ready room, passing Directorate Shock Marines and black-clad sailors alike until they entered the larger labyrinth of the station itself. His mind quickly wandered to the negotiations themselves. Two other industrial heavy-weights would be joining him to represent the Silver Jedi Concord: Matsu Ike Matsu Ike and Sor-Jan Xantha Sor-Jan Xantha . Between their political connections and the backing of the companies associated with them, they wielded a fair amount of informal influence, with some formal official influence as well. He was curious as to who would be present to represent the Elysium Empire. He guessed that at least one member of the royal family would be present - probably the King or Queen. The trio quickly found themselves standing next to the Silver Jedi Order's new grandmaster.

He and his companions looked rather understated compared to her, preferring dark-cut conservative business clothing typical of many Mid Rim executives. While not expecting to get caught up in any fights, he was wearing his Glastro Undercover Armor underneath his suit and had a Fistfire Holdout in his pocket and a Myntor Personal Shield clipped to his belt. True to her cover to the end, Ariela hadn't brought any weapons and was wearing a charcoal gray ensemble, while Sariya had probably wearing the least grungy clothing she owned - a silver jumpsuit not too unlike that of a famous Alderaanian princess from many years back - though the late princess's outfit didn't likely include a vibroblade as an acecssory.

"Grandmaster," offered Gir with a curt if polite nod, "have you seen Master Xantha yet?"

The Old Republic ship passed into the night.

From underneath, an executive shuttle emerged, flanked on either side by a pair of droid starfighters that supplied escort while it traversed the space between the former ship-of-the-line and the space station.

To be completely honest, the boy had been surprised by the invitation. Not complaining, by any means, but surprised nonetheless. His business was intimately more concerned with the Alliance than with the Concord -- though Commenor and Kashyyyk supplied lucrative markets, and he appreciated that the elevation of his friend to the position of grand master supplied him a luxury of access to the Concord that he hadn't enjoyed for some time. But his company was based on Corellia. Sor-Jan was generally more concerned with Coruscant and its government than he was beholden to the whims of the Concord.

Still, he was not one to look at gift bantha in the mouth. Matsu wanted him as part of the negotiations... who was he to decline?

It put him on the ground floor for open trade with the Elysium Empire. He wasn't one to say no to that. And his shareholders would rightly oust him from his position in the company if he did.

He wasn't carrying a lightsaber. He hadn't in a long time. Why start now? Plus, it really didn't belong in the board room.

Besides, he was an Anzat. A predator. Oh, he tried to hide it. From himself more so than those around him. But, his people were the devil in the dark. The boogeyman of fairy tales told to frighten children. That thing which people told themselves did not exist, even when it was staring them right in the face. He had other means at his disposal should the need for self-defense arise.

But he didn't imagine that it would. This was business. And in business, there were better ways of harming an opponent than simply attacking him outright.

The deceptively young-looking alien didn't wear robes either. Instead, he wore an Alderaani-style shirt over a pair of dark trousers that were embroidered with the Corellian bloodstripe awarded to him many, many centuries before. A short cloak flowed behind him, dyed the distinctive color of Corellia's children.

His people might be the devil in the dark, but Sor-Jan had been born Corellian green.

"Have you seen Master Xantha yet?"

Gir Quee. Good man. He'd helped to salvage the wreckage of the Intervention with the boy on Boz Pity.

A good man, but... formal to a fault. "Who is Master Xantha?" the boy quipped, as he came in on the tail end of the man speaking.

He preferred Sor-Jan.

He was no one's master. Not anymore.

Craning his head upward, the Anzat youth gave a nod of respect toward the man. "Gir," the boy intoned, before he turned and gave a slightly more formal bow toward the familiar Atrisian woman. Likely one of the few who'd be close to his height today. "Matsu."

Of the Elysium Imperium, he knew not enough. Only that their territory lay at the terminus of the Corellian Run.

A distant market, to be certain. But, all new markets were most welcome gifts, indeed.

Just get the job done? What kind of motivation is that? She furrowed her brow as she strolled down the corridors of the massive space station. Her handler was inscrutable, despite her best efforts - about the only thing she had been able to figure out so far was that she was a woman who without fail always wore a no-show. She guessed that her handler possibly a light-haired brunette or dyed blonde based solely on a strand of hair she had left behind after one of their meetings - yet perhaps most troubling of all was that she did not appear to have a Force signature of any sort. The one time she followed the woman, she quickly found herself face to face with Admiral Quee and his entourage. That had been an unsettling experience, and one that she felt in her gut was about to happen again.

She toggled the comlink built into her clothing, itself cut to appear as that of a maintenance worker, "How far away am I?"

"Two dozen meters to your left. Better move quickly."

She rounded the corner to find herself looking at a woman guarded by a quartet of power armored soldiers and a man in fringer's clothing. She briefly stepped back and felt the cold metal of the bulkhead behind her. This woman needs help? She seems pretty well guarded. On the other hand, the man did appear to be wielding a rather large weapon and pointing it directly at her. Without much thought, she lowered her right hand, kept it at waist level, and aimed her palm at the bulky cryoban thrower. She pulled the GravPulse's ring trigger, causing a loud pop to emanate out of her wrist. Hopefully, the sheering force of the Tensor mode would at least damage the weapon, if nothing less, it'd probably cause enough of a distraction to give Dorthea and her protectors an opening.

Alor of Clan Gred, Mando'ad'jetii
Objective: 3

Mig walked in, armor and weapons as usual, though he had made sure it was all polished and looked good for today. While he was technically there under the SJC, he was really acting more as security for everyone there today. Plus, while he could be diplomatic it didn't mean he enjoyed politics. He did smile at the Nomadic People's Coalition members though. He felt a bit of kinship with them, having lived aboard starships for years before settling his clan on Taanab. It was also part of the reason he was showing some respect in having his helmet clipped to his belt instead of on his head.

It was interesting to see who was there too. Caedyn Arenais and Loreena Arenais-Valhoun Loreena Arenais-Valhoun . He wondered what their parents would be thinking now. While he didn't know there father too well, other than the Jedi helping to make his clan's transition to Taanab smoother, he had considered Kay aliit (family), even if only my relationship to others he felt the same for. Maybe he could talk to one of them later.

Then there was Gir Quee Gir Quee , someone he, and more often it seemed his sister, had worked alongside in naval situations. Plus the odd sense even he could feel from what looked a pair of close twins ( Willow & Ivy Willow & Ivy ), but right now his comm pinged, and that meant the helmet went back on and he went on alert. He wouldn't pull a weapon yet, but he'd get moving.

With his helmet on though, he made sure his voice wouldn't be heard outside as he hit his comm.

"Hopefully this isn't too bad, but I'm headed that way."

He would soon notice the scene, and quickly pulled his Echani vibrosword, figuring it was better to not pull the big guns just yet. He looked at Hayde Torve Hayde Torve , then Dorthea Dobson Dorthea Dobson before finally eying Haon Hafey Haon Hafey . Well this was interesting to say the least. Mig would then speak, this time out loud.

"Well, good job stopping this one. With any luck he's the only one crazy enough to try anything."
