DESCRIPTION

Individual medpacs are a common item in a galaxy frequently wracked with conflict and disasters, from the deepest section of the Core to the boonies of the Outer Rim. Even in more peaceful and civilized areas of the galaxy, many take the precaution of having a medpac with them just in case of accident. Lucerne Biological System's entry into this market is less of a group of random items for various minor ailments that the average citizen may encounter in their daily life, but rather it is a selection of powerful and specialized tools designed specifically for adventurers, soldiers, and others who may suffer grievous injuries in the line of duty. To that end, FastMed is fairly compact, taking up about the same space as a pistol holster on the average being's utility belt. This small size makes it convenient for those constantly on the move, yet LBS tried very hard not to skimp on having an item or two for most common traumatic occasions. While FastMed does have bandages and sutures for common laceration repairs, the stars of FastMed's contents are its hypospray with its fairly advanced medication ampules: it has medicines for everything from radiation and virus sicknesses to blood volume expanders and combat stimulants. These advanced medicines in turn are backed by a built-in treatment computer that can help guide laymen in treating themselves as well as a Haven Series Health Regenerator concealed behind the pack's back panel. Most FastMeds are being produced for governments and organizations allied with the company in some capacity, notably the Directorate and the Silver Jedi Concord, where they are commonly issued to soldiers, jedi, and others who put themselves in harms way for the sake of bettering the galaxy.
