Death before dishonour!

While the Eternal Empire was just defending its territory in the northern territory and waging war against the planet Lwhekk, Kalidan remained essentially defenceless. Among the shadows, a group has grown in recent years. A former rebel cell but later they became a terrorist and anarchist group. The group who would have joined the rebellion because of Loreena Arenais-Valhoun Loreena Arenais-Valhoun and were present at Trenwyth when Caedyn Arenais and Kyra Perl Kyra Perl tried to free the woman.

They started out as a stand-alone rebel cell, and by the time they were strengthened enough to already benefit the Eclipse Rebellion, Loreena had left the Rebellion. The Shadow Flames felt hugely disappointed in the rebellion and decided they would act on their own. Not nearly as peacefully as the rebellion did. They chose the path of anarchists and terrorists. Like the Empress before, they put a lot of work into getting to know the enemy's both sides. And after defeating Bryn'adûl, the time came.

Arcenon; The capital of Kalidan. And the group, most of whom were young, struck down here. Their principle was to make their attack hurt the empire as much as possible. Well, they had a plan that would hurt the rebels, the Empire, and the Arenais twins as well, to remind everyone that they were the ones because of whom this all happened. In the middle of the northern campaign, during the busiest hour of the day, bombs exploded in the capital and riots broke out…

And the explosions did not take place on a military base, the more cruel they were. There were explosions in an orphanage, two civilian hospitals, two schools and a military academy. Most of the dead were children, teenagers, young adults, or sick civilians. And chaos reigned on the streets of the capital…

Objectives

Objective 1: Hunt Them Down
7MUqMm7.png
Of course, such an action could not go unpunished, so STRATCOM immediately took steps to curb fighting. Since a significant portion of the Ultranauts was at war, only the local force faced them along with a handful of other individuals who could be reassigned to defend the city and curb anarchy. Their job is to capture the anarchists to make an example with them. The terrorist hunt takes place in the heart of the empire, Arcenon.

Objective 2: Save and Protect Them
AltEqWq.png
While the Shadow Flames are raging on Kalidan, the Eclipse Rebellion receives an emergency call from another cell. A group who had an intelligence mission inside the Empire but had to flee and the Empire was after them. Their ship was damaged and crashed on the planet Bormter. However, the Empire is panting in their wake. They asked for help to save and rescue them from the planet before they were captured by the Empire.

Rebels only!

Objective 3: BYOO
Yq6hLx9.png
There are many more ways to interact with Bormter than are listed here. Not to mention, there is an entire hex worth of stories to be told. Have fun in any way that you please!

Damian would feel the ship rock as they came closer to the ground. His platoon of soldiers standing at the ready with their weapons close. Their orders were simple. Hit the ground, assault the enemy position, and wipe out their command structure. Local forces would handle the mop up, but there had to be a heavy hand to pull out this weed by its roots. Or a more apt description would be to cut the head off of the snake. They had to strike hard, strike fast, and keep hitting them. The ship would shake more violently as Damian could feel some kind of rocket explode nearby. They were taking ground fire already?

This will definitely be fun. Hehehe.

They seem to have heavy weapons. So to you yes.

If they aren't able to put up a good fight, where's the enjoyment? The challenge?

You and I have very different definitions of fun.

Yes in that I have one, and you don't.

Will you-

The ship shook again as this time a rocket found its mark. These rebels were definitely very, very well armed. It reminded Damian of some memories he'd rather have left buried. The screams in his head coming forward briefly before he quashed them and focused on the now. He didn't have time to reflect on the actions of his former self. He had to focus on the now. He could barely overhear someone in the back yell as a relay to the pilots station to brace. And that was a scant few seconds before the ship slammed into the ground, nearly causing Damian to fall over. The doors would open and Damian alongside 27 other Ultranauts would immediately rush forward. To stay in the kill box, was to die. The sounds of blaster fire would erupt around them as they traded fire from both sides, Ultranauts finding cover and moving to suppress the enemy in the buildings ahead of them. Fire and maneuver. Close with and destroy the enemy. No sooner had they all gotten set than did Damian spot three other Ultranaut privates nearby as the rest of the platoon set their support by fire.

"YOU THREE WITH ME!" And as soon as they acknowledged he would speak over their intranet comms "COVER!"

With those words out, the four of them would bound across the street, weapons raised as they fired last bursts into nearby windows to keep the enemy down. The voice in his head was smiling and cackling in his ears as he prepared for the most intense part of any Ultranaut's training. Close Quarters Battle. Fighting room by room. Building to building. Block by Block. They didn't have to clear it all themselves, but they had to breach, and this was the only way. The fastest and most effective way. In the end it always came down to the infantryman and his rifle.

Kessia arrived in the area a few minutes ago; one of the dropships threw her out on the roof of one of the taller buildings. She was now looking at the area from here. Civilians were nowhere to be found, they fled; yet the place was like a war zone. The explosions caused buildings to burn in several places, smoke to the sky and the snow fell. Panic and terror reigned in the streets.

In the heart of the Empire; this was the capital of Kalidan. Terrorists could not have stabbed that imaginary knife deeper and more painful. She regretted something, she couldn't kill them because she was given that order. It was Ingrid's direct order because she knew Kessia would kill the terrorists first and only then ask anything, after her actions, if she asks. And these were needed alive to be answers for their sins before the law. This was the Empress' will.

Now she wore only armour, no cloak, and in addition to the Blackwatch's armband on her arm, and another armband on her other hand with the symbol of the Imperial House was visible, as always. Kessia gathered all the information through MANIAC and thus learned that a group of Ultranauts had already arrived.

~ So, there was a squad nearby, from these guys. Good! ~ she thought.

She reached into the Force and jumped off the roof of the building. The Chameleon dampened the fall with telekinetic, so she landed silently and softly. She only had to run a corner to catch up with Damian and his team.

<"Hello boys! I came to join the party!"> she said.

It felt like a lifetime ago, but the memories of her time with the Wild Hunt, serving an ostensibly anarchist organization, the Agents of Chaos, were still fresh in her mind. Ivixa had learned to kill then, discovering her natural affinity as a sniper and serving a cause which she had dedicated herself to with every fiber of her being. For that, she did not regret her time spent there, knowing that the Agents of Chaos had given her a chance where otherwise, she might have lingered in some slum, hopeless and destitute.

That was why it almost felt wrong for her to kill these anarchists, but with each life she took, it became easier. Moreover, witnessing the scenes of chaos and death within the city, the burned out ruins of hospitals, schools, and academies, along with body bags sized for children and the rows of worried, crying parents behind the barricades as they anxiously awaited the status of their loved ones, set the flames of hatred alight in her heart. These rebels and their ilk could no longer be tolerated, not even for the Shadow Empire or the Maw.

At some point, a reckoning was due.

From her position in a building close to the landing site, Ivixa drew her sights on a trio of armed rebels. Having trained herself to do so for long periods of time, Ivixa held her breath tight inside her chest, waiting patiently for at least two of the rebels to line up parallel relative to her position.

Instead, she got all three.

Her nostrils flared with bloodlust as she pressed her finger over the trigger, holding the same rifle she had used from the very beginning of her career, since the Battle of Rodia. She had slain dozens with the weapon, which had been assigned to her after she graduated from sniper training and became a full-fledged Wild Huntress.

Now, the weapon would take three more.

Not a moment later, Ivixia squeezed the trigger, delivering a massive slug which punched through the skull of the closest rebel, the stomach of the next, and then finally, the knee of the last, who suffered the most of the three. Unfortunately, it was inconvenient to leave a target screaming their head off as they bled to death in the street, so Ivixa finished him off with a shot to the chest, permanently silencing the wounded rebel.

As the Ultranauts moved towards one of the buildings, Ivixa dispatched one rebel, then another as they fired down on the soldiers from elevated positions, leaving one body hanging from the window as her bullet struck the man in the hip, causing him to lose his balance as he died.

<“This is Special Agent Rominaria Seven, reporting in.”> Ivxia said over the Battle Net comms, as another pair of shots whistled through the air, striking down a rebel hiding behind the bottom of a window. <”Sniper support is on station and ready to assist.”>

Her eyes went wide as she recognized a familiar voice over comms.

<”Chameleon? It’s...good to know you’re here.”>

Anashja Tal walked down the corridor toward the assembly room, talking to a medical droid that was currently putting back together a wounded Imperial. Did he need to update her so frequently though? He seemed to be developing more personality quirks as of late and was looking like a mind reset might be in order. Oh well.

It had been several hours since Anashja had intercepted a distress signal, for a moment she hadn't realised it was rebel activity, but this had confirmed it. It put her in a tricky situation, she needed to aid them as she believed in their cause, but could not do anything that could lead the Eternal Empire to doubt her or any of her Vod's loyalty.

She had made up her mind though, she was bound by her personal ethical code and also that shared by medical personnel across the galaxy, she hoped this would be cover enough for her actions. She had been planning what she needed to say to the team that would be descending with her, but she shouldn't plan a speech, every Mando knows, real speech craft comes from the heart and on the fly.

Walking in to the room with her helmet on her waist and her kit ready to go.

"Good afternoon my Vod, it is good to see you all ready and prepared to go. Your pads have all been updated with your mission parameters. This is a humanitarian rescue mission, there are rumours that the crashed ship may be enemies of the Eternal Empire. Of that we do not care, we are here to heal, not to fight." She paused as murmurs circulated, nobody wanted to annoy the imperials if unnecessary.

"Your orders are to heal the wounded, any that cannot be healed on site should be transported aboard." She paused again, saying the next part with a heavy heart, but the Clan would depend on it. "If engaged by the Eternal Empire, follow their orders as instructed, protect your charges with your words, the Imperials are not monsters and should let you complete your work, but do not engage in combat with them." She was not sure if she believed this last statement entirely, not after Lwhekk, but it was a hope.

She made a loud prayer in Mando'a which all of her Vod followed before donning her helmet. The Dreamsight winked into life and all of the data she had been accustomed to appeared, including a count down to the ship landing.

"30 seconds and we move out!" She shouted, ready to lead them from the front.

Damian and his impromptu team scrambled across the open ground as the overhead fire went back and forth between the establish supports by fire, and the enemy position. Damian would raise his rifle mid stride as he ran, firing a couple of bursts at several of the windows watching as reports came from on high. It seemed that they had outside support from elements that had been deployed to the planet as well. Damian didn't think about it. He had to focus. He was barely a team leader at this point and only then it was because in his short time of being an Ultranaut, he had a knack for surviving where others didn't. He'd kept quiet about his previous training and allegiances, as those would raise questions and without the whole context he knew that some might decide it better to nip his possible disloyalty in the bud. So when he survived, it seemed as though he was just lucky, or had taken to the training quite well. But now, he had to focus on the issues right before him. There was no room for errors, this was war. Winners got to live, second place meant that you were at the mercy of the winners. Which usually meant you died.

And Damian wasn't going to let them kill him.

As they stacked up, Damian took point and saw the third party approach. Judging by equipment and the way they carried themselves, definitely an operative. What kind or who they belonged to specifically Damian didn't know, but judging by the fact that she was helping, either an Eternal ally, or some kind internal group that he hadn't heard of before. He would speak to her quickly and efficiently, as time wasn't their ally in this.

"Follow,"

He then raised a fist to the team that was behind him, letting them know to get ready and send up the signal. Right hand on each shoulder in front of them, left hand on their weapons ready to shoot over the leading man's shoulder, and a simple squeeze being the non-verbal message that they were ready. When Damian felt the squeeze on his shoulder he took a single step towards the door, and with a powerful front kick smashed the door open. The handle itself remained lodged in the doorway, the metal pieces bent together causing it to stick, but the wood around it giving way to the powerful hit. The group would immediately flow inside to the main hallway, Damian at first in the lead until his second stood shoulder to shoulder with him to put as many guns up as possible to ensure if there was a gunfight, they had the most firepower in the hallway possible. There was no initial contact, but they could hear shouting from inside the building as the enemy noted the breach. The pause as they got into the box formation was momentary before rushing forward to the first doorways on either side of the hallway. They four man team would split into pairs as they took up position on either doorway, Damian speaking to the operative in another short piece of instruction to ensure that she didn't get caught in possible crossfire.

"Wait until breach, then press ahead. Prevents enemy from tagging you before we kill them,"

With that said, the pair on the right would ready a flashbang, Damian himself pulling out one of his as he waited for the ready signal. With the squeeze on his shoulder, he pulled the pin, letting the spoon fall free with a small jingle and counting to two. He then hucked the grenade into the room where it would detonate with a loud BANG and a flash comparable to looking at the surface of the sun with an unshielded telescope. The two were right behind the explosion, Damian taking the path of least resistance by going straight to the right corner, while his partner button hooked to the left guns blazing. The opposite pair would mirror them as they also engaged simultaneously. Damian would see first a man in the corner, intent on ambushing them in the door way in the most common blind spot. One problem was that he was now blind, and he wouldn't ever see or hear the Ultranaut coming as he put six rounds into his chest before Damian turned onto the rest of the room, spotting two more combatants at the far wall. One was spraying shots wildly throughout the room, the other had dropped his weapon and was trying to massage his head or eyes. It never helped with ruptured ear drums or the painful blindness that came from being hit with one of those grenades. Damian would put another quick burst into the man spraying as his counterpart would rush the man who'd dropped his weapon. With a heavy kick to the ribs, the Ultranaut would kick him against the wall, before pinning him to the ground and placing cuffs on his hands to prevent him from being a further problem. With the fight in this room mostly over, Damian would do a final sweep before covering the other soldier. Their one survivor was tagged and bagged, the follow on forces could take them for processing, and Damian regrouped with them at the doorway. With the first set of rooms cleared, and now the fire fight outside being mostly won, he would step to the front of the building and signal to the rest of the platoon to start bounding forward. Once done he would do an about face and prepare to move forward to assist the operative, or otherwise begin pressing through the building so that they could get into the enemy's back field and secure their objective.

She noted sadly that everyone was killing anarchists while she could not. Last but not least, the order was to keep them alive. The Empress and STRATCOM want to set an example with them, but if they kill everyone, that can’t be done.

<< If possible, let’s keep someone alive, the order is to send them to court. On the battlefield, death is too easy a result for them. >> she said in High Nelvaanian. << Welcome Seven! >>

And she wasn't able to pull that damn trigger until she switched guns to a stun mode. The damn conditioning that made her have to obey Ingrid and she couldn't contradict her. True she was not conditioned by the Empress but by her Aunt, but all L'lerim were able to command her. Her only advantage was that sometimes she could be the Empress.

Kessia arrived when Damian and his team left the building. The survival of the Ultranauts was no doubt, they were one of the best trained and most trained forces in the Galaxy, who also defeated the Mandalorians. That is why the anarchists attacked now, because there were only average soldiers in the capital, the number of Ultranauts are minimal. They had no luck.

She quickly looked around the area to see if she had seen a place or building that suited her more than to the Ultranauts. But no such building wasn't really here. Kessia decided that if she couldn’t kill anyone anyway, she would just follow the others. She was quite grumpy.

<"Go, I'll cover you!"> she said.

Theezo was many things. A young-old man. A trader. Typically of the ay-dee variety rather than the ay-ih variety, though that sometimes shifted with the winds. He was proud of seeing his jobs through to the end. A being of his word if one would say. Credible at the least when it came to promises. His last shipment had scored him a healthy bunch of credits and he hadn't initially been one to question what was happening with the goods.

At least that was before the bombs went off in civilian places.

He was all for sticking it to the man. All for bringing a bit of chaos to the otherwise orderly universe around them in the swirling cosmos of constant fire and brimstone that reigned supreme over the galactic lens. But civilian targets were off limits for any amount of credits. The duster kicked up in the wake of the nearest explosion. An arm pulled up over his face to save his eyes and face from the debris.

He bristled in anger as the screams and shouts of people around him rang in the air. His ears sung with the sound of whistling bells as he barely caught the sound of people moving and scurrying about.

Intent was one thing. He had been intent on seeing the job through. Had been intent on a healthy pay day. And had gotten it. Now the consequences of his intent were rearing their ugly heads as he lowed the arm and stared at the burning carcass of a building down the way. Bile rose in his throat, eyes widening and a slow exhale found his focus shifting quickly to the meeting place that had been arranged for the delivery.

The arm covering his face dropped completely, each hand checking the holsters before pondering the choice of more violence before a hand shot to an inner pocket to find the beamer there. Quick steps brought him past the burnt out husk as he made haste for the spot the goons had been casually dropping around him during the transfer.

A sharp click emitted from his mouth as he walked, tongue letting loose of the hold it had as air rushed into the space between. He knew what to look for, now he just had to find the sons of banthas and turn them inside out.

He wouldn't let this bad taste in his mouth linger. Wouldn't let a quick credit come at the cost of everyday people dying so needlessly. At least not in this way. Morals were a loose and fast thing in the trader business at times, but this venture had been purely off the books. A slow process over several months of contact hopping and middle manning sith spit before the deal had been made. It had been troublesome and at times downright annoying.

The run around had been a near breaking point for the deal, but in the end it had seemed worth it.

At least it had seemed so.

His hand snapped the slugthrower from it's holster and let loose a round with a deafening crack. Those inside the 'safehouse' shouted as his boot met the middle of the door with a sharp jerk as it made a cracking sound. It gave way as he dropped his aim long enough to see which hands reached for weapons. The mid hip swing of his slugthrower in their direction making eyes snap open with realization as the weapon snapped off more shots with alarming speed.

He worked the action like dear friends would shake hands.

It was a conscious thought to aim lower than usual, his aim thrown a bit as a few shots connected with clear results as screams of pain drew the attention of some. Two of those present didn't bother to look at their fallen comrades as they returned fire. Theezo ducked behind the doorway after feeling the trigger pull with no result while laser fire zinged into the alley behind him.

The left hand grabbed the empty magazine from it's place inside the slugthrower before replacing it with a fresh one and cocked the as he leaned a little to better listen inside.

The crew had been quiet since the order to run silent had been given. Silent since the order to black out their identifying markers on their armor and ship was given. Silent since Sikkol had figured something out and given them coordinates without speaking of an objective.

Aani had been the most on edge, since her questions had been met with stiff dismissal for the time being.

<<What do you think?>> Aani spoke over the line to others that were waiting for a sign. They had opened a line separate from the channel they usually used leaving Sikkol out for the time being.

Their grumbles and dithering got her no where as she watched their leader clean and nit-pick over the blaster pistol in his hand. His face was hidden, but the way he moved told her plenty.

The subtle rise of his visor told her she had his attention finally as she barely lifted her own.

"Speak." Sikkol spoke sharply.

Behind the helmet, her brow rose at the sign of annoyance. Whatever information he had was making him nervous. Terse even as she leaned forward from her spot and took the helmet off to look at him and speak with not just her voice.

"What are we doing?" Aani spoke the words softly, the anger gone as she was trying to read him through the mask. A deep sigh had him slapping the pistol into its holster before pausing. She didn't know why, but eventually he took his own helmet off and rubbed his brow.

Her attention focused on the squint of his eyes. The rubbing of his fingers against nothing but themselves as he gave himself the sparing seconds to formulate his words.

"Is it illegal?" Aani cut to the chase as he shook his head.

"Is it sanctioned?" He shook his head again after pausing to consider the phrasing.

"Is it going to be trouble with the Clan?" A smile formed at that question as his expression shifted to something closer to a smirk.

"Certain Tal's will be happy we did this...the Eternal Empire not so much." Sikkol nodded as he spoke, saying little more than what needed to be said.

"Ah."Aani clapped her hands together and put a few pieces together finally. That was what had prompted the secrecy. The lack of adornments and changing the hull color so suddenly.

"Are we helping someone?" The smirk on his face finally grew full as he nodded, Aani giving him the clear sign her questions were finished as she donned the helmet once more to fill in the others while leaving Sikkol to continue his pre-mission habits.

Another vessel broke into orbit far from them, headed to what was guessed to be the same location as they were headed. A moment of thought was spared to signaling them, but it would have broken the blackout order Sikkol had given them.

Instead they broke their trajectory and banked further north of the landing area before making a sweep back towards the downed craft. Aani and Sikkol loaded into the drop pods, checking the system's aboard each before the signal to close the hatch was given.

Sikkol gave a quick thumbs up before the ignition began, the dropship coming into the atmosphere quickly before breaking through and cutting a quick path across the landing zone.

Two pods were ejected from the bottom. Internal pod cushions filling to wrap around the pair before the viewport shaded at the brilliant outside light. The dropship engaged auxiliary afterburners and screamed out of the operation area as the pods quickly descended.

The Ultranauts worked with brutal efficiency that very much impressed the tiny Special Agent, watching as one in particular, Kuben Woods Kuben Woods , cleared out the first set of rooms with alarming skill. While there was a secondary objective to secure prisoners, Ivixa knew that these were only foot soldiers. They had yet to reach the masterminds of the attacks, who would need to be captured rather than killed, so that they could answer for their crimes before a tribunal.

Linking up with Chameleon and the Ultranaut officer at the doorway, Ivixa nodded to them both, looking over the corpses of the rebels in the room as she did.

“Good work, Ultranaut Frost.” The tiny assassin said. “As Chameleon said, we will need to capture some of the rebels alive so that they can face trial. However, I understand if that is not practical, especially pertaining to their foot soldiers. Stun settings won’t always work if they’re armored.” She added. “That said, one of our objectives is to capture the masterminds behind this attack.” The sniper explained, before turning her attention to the other Ultranauts in the landing force.

“Bring me the prisoner.”

The rebel made for a rough, yet handsome figure, his features twisted in a mix of anger, defeat, and oddly, shame. Ivixa blinked as she assessed him, neither rage nor sympathy coloring her expression as she looked up at him, perhaps to the rebel’s embarrassment.

“Prisoner, I will not mince words. This will be very bad for you, but you are being offered the opportunity to mitigate some of the punishment. I would advise that you do not waste it.” Ivixa began. “Should you choose to cooperate, it will be noted and rewarded. If you elect not to, your punishment will be severe and without reprieve.” The Special Agent continued, her words punctuated with a sharp intake of breath.

“Now, speak.”

“I-I didn’t know it would end like this. I thought it would be different, t-that they were targeting the military, not civ-”

The distinct sound of a gauntlet-clad hand impacting flesh echoed throughout the room, loud enough that the air seemed to stand still.

“You know what we need, rebel dog, so cut the sorry crap or you’ll be the very last prisoner we take today.” Ivixa lied.

“Now, talk.”

Damian could hear his platoon begin to move up and the other two operatives make their entrance. He didn't however hesitate or wait for either of them. His platoon was spreading out to cover and clear the rest of the buildings on the block, his compatriot dragging the living if severely roughed up prisoner for one of the operatives to interrogate. Damian's objective however was still very clear. Assault through, hit the enemy safe house in the center of the defensive unit. And judging from the blaster and gun fire he heard coming from that direction, someone had made it there before them. He would wave Kessia Miran Kessia Miran to follow them as they started pushing up. They had broken the initial line and were now about to get into the back field. This place wasn't large enough for the enemy to have a sizable defense in depth presence so Damian didn't wait for his fellow Ultras in the platoon to set up follow on over watch. Speed was of the essence, and violence of action would see them through the day. As they pressed up the side of the building to another, they could see through a window that a gun fight was going on inside, a single "bad guy" shooting at someone else inside.

Damian leveled the rifle at the glass, holding his fire however knowing that it was probably reinforced transparisteel, so trying to shoot through it with his rifle would be less than useless. It would be wasteful, and give away their position. They halted at the intersection for the street behind the line of buildings, Damian and one other Ultra taking positions at the corners preparing to peek out to establish security for them to cross.

"3... 2... 1... Mark!"

The two would simultaneously turn the corner, using the building to provide cover as they scanned for targets. Damian caught a few rebels fleeing back from their assault, but as he started shooting a building about a block away would suddenly answer his volley with a stream of heavy repeater fire. Damian cursed as he ducked back behind the corner and his compatriot was gunned down before he could react.

"E-WEB, SECOND FLOOR, 100 METERS!"

One of the other Ultranauts would grab their comrade and pull him back into the alley. They knew he was dead, but the medic would try to take a crack at him anyways.

"Medic! Medic we need a medic over here!"

Damian would turn to the operative if she'd follow them and speak quickly.

"We need something to take that turret down!"

Oh I could definitely deal with something so paltry.

Oh? And let me guess, all I have to do is give you the reins?

Would it be so bad? You'd get what you want, I'd-

Not happening.

Oh you are such a bore.

Damian would peak out briefly again and fire a few shots at the E-Web's position, which the gunner would respond to by continually dumping a stream shots on his position. He hoped that one of those two operatives had a trick or two up their sleeves.

The Chameleon also knew that it was mainly the leaders who needed it, but her order was that no one could kill her. So, unfortunately, she also had to forget about torture. Kessia's methods were far from sophisticated, and not much was left of the victim if she fell into the woman's hands. She enjoyed her work too much. So she could only hope that Ivixa would do a more sophisticated job. As for punishment, if he was lucky, Ivixa will execute him here.

Meanwhile, while Ivixa was talking to the prisoner, Kessia followed Damian and her team. At one of the alleys, however, they ran into trouble. It was only a general thing that was actually damn effective in this situation. An E-Web. And one of the Ultranauts was already dead as a result. The woman had an idea of what she was going to do. So when Damien fired again and then retreated into the alley, the agent signalled to him to let her forward.

When that happened, Kessia went to the corner to look out of that place. In the meantime, she has already asked MANIAC exactly where the anarchist and the E-web are. She only needed visual confirmation to know exactly where to focus the Force. A quick glance was enough; MANIAC gave accurate data, but seeing something was another matter.

As soon as she saw her goal, Kessia reached out to the Force and centered her own power around the E-Web. The others saw so much of it the woman stretched out her hand, then clenched it into a fist and quickly pulled her hand back. There was a clatter of glass from the street, followed by a metallic impact as the E-Web fell off to the street.

"We can go!" she said.

The Tal'din continued its descent, passing a thousand metres or so directly above the crash site, at the the group of mandalorians, led by Anashja jumped put of the main hangars and dropped toward the ground, their descent controlled by their jetpacks. Anashja had finer control over her repulsors so would attempt to land directly into the bridge structure of the downed vessel whilst the rest of her vod landed in two teams, one at what looked like a makeshift mustering point just outside a great rip in the ship's hull and one would penetrate into into to look for trapped injured.

Not that far from her, Anahsja could see another ship descending toward the crash site. Her dreamsight was struggling to get a lock on its specific information through electronic countermeasures, but it's silhouette matched that of the Hell jumpers ship. She was releived not to be dealing with the empire just yet and would be happy for more Mandos to be dropping in with aid. Behind her, her ship landed in a large clearing and began setting up to receive injured patients.

She came close to the bridge section and slowed her descent, allowing her to climb in the broken bridge window. Inside there were several injured and bruised bridge crew desperately working on machinery, they seemed alarmed to see her, but the Tal sigil emblazoned on her Beskar'gam was enough to quickly reassure them that they weren't all about to be murdered.

"I am Anashja Tal, I am leading a relief attempt, any information you can give me and my teams would be appreciated, is there anyone in here that needs immediate care."

"Thank you Tal," came a reply from across the room where a man in a torn uniform worked on a badly damaged long range communication system. "We have hundreds of wounded, many in critical need. The captain is dead and I have taken over command here. We are trying to get out a secure communication to our allies for rescue but have had little luck." The executive officer had knowledge of senior Tal support for the rebels, but would not speak it here, in case the wrong person was listening "maybe I could come aboard your ship and use your communications."

Anashja smiled behind her mask, that would be too much for her, if a rebel signal was intercepted coming directly from her ship then it could spell disaster. "It is right for the captain, even acting, to stay with their own ship, I will have my own engineers bring over the parts you need to repair your own communications" she then spoke into her communicator to issue such an order.

Overhead, an AT-Hauler appeared over the city. It flew down quickly towards the conflict zone. Its cargo? The massive, 40 foot reinforcement of the Eternal Empire. Echo's job was to deploy as reinforcements for the Ultranauts already down there, help them eliminate all terrorists, and make sure none of the terrorists escaped from the area of operations.

The Hauler flew down, and released the clamps holding Echo. Echo fell a short bit, and landed on the ground with a loud BOOM, the ground shaking from the force of Echo's landing. Echo stood up all the way, towering over the landscape. He looked around, scanning the area with his advanced sensors. He detected many unfriendly life signatures, and some friendly signatures close by.

Over the commlink, Echo reported in to the friendly forces. "This is QEMD-15 Unit Echo, here to provide reinforcements to any Eternal Empire forces on the ground. All systems green. Awaiting assignment to targets." He reported over the commlink.

Then, the sirens began. From the top of his head, sirens began blaring out, echoing all throughout the city, the sound echoing down the streets and through the buildings. Now... the real fun would begin.

The prisoner sang like a bird.

Names were quickly run through the various databases and classified networks which Ivixa had exclusive access to as a Blackwatch Special Agent, taking full advantage of her security clearances to pull up information on the individuals who the prisoner listed. In total, Ivixa had been given six names and one wildcard, all of whom (Save for the unknown wildcard) had long histories and records, stemming from participation with other rebel groups prior to the formation of the Shadow Flames. Each of them had benefited from the pardons given out to the rebels, granted as a gesture of good faith by the Empress in an effort to ease tensions and to steal the Rebellion’s fire when they realized that the Empire was not as cruel as it was made out to be. For a time, it had worked and the Rebellion began to simmer, losing much of the public sympathy which had allowed them to sustain a guerrilla campaign against the Empire.

Until now.

“Thank you for your cooperation.” Ivixa said to the prisoner, as she utilized her biochip to go through the files of the six rebels. “It will be rewarded.” She added. “Ultranauts, take him away.”

Then, with a deep breath, Ivixa opened a channel to the Chameleon and the Ultranaut Captain.

“The prisoner gave out the names of six individuals who were behind the attacks, in addition to one...wildcard, who the prisoner speculated to be a smuggler of some kind. Unfortunately, he could only give a vague description on the last one. Red hair, tall, and...roguish. There's nothing else on him.” Ivixa paused, forgetting the fact that at her stature, everyone was tall, a detail which might unintentionally mislead the soldiers who were charged with finding the wildcard and hauling him in. It didn’t help that the prisoner himself was also quite short for a human male, though not to the level of the tiny Blackwatch Special Agent.

“Transmitting their files now. I’ll rendezvous with you guys within the next minute.”

The empty clip was pocketed. Or at least he thought he had as the slide was forced back and the satisfying click of a chambered round made itself known. The sound of battle elsewhere had him struggling to hear inside as he dared poke his head around the corner to catch sight of anyone still watching for him.

One was trying to haul their friend away. Another was glancing back and forth as they let loose another bolt his direction. The angle of the weapon and their eyes guaranteed a miss but he didn't chance it as he ducked back and prepared himself for another exchange going into the room.

Just had to-

There was a garbled warning from inside, still struggling to hear them as the sound of Chaos seemed to funnel directly down the length of the alley and interrupt their surrender? Maybe parlay? Didn't matter. Whether they were ready to swing or lay down arms they had already made their bed and it was time they lay in it.

He juked a step into the doorway, a blaster shot singing above his knee and leaving a warmth on the topside that meant it was uncomfortably close before he swung to the far side and let another shot loose. The table splintered in their face as they fell backwards against the wall.

The other body in the room stopped hauling their friend as he fumbled for the Beamer in his pocket. To his surprise they leapt over the makeshift cover of a table and charged him as he further fumbled at the sudden rush.

The pistol clacked to the ground as the assailant charged and threw him into the wall. Both hands grabbed his neck and lifted him up, Theezo’s legs flailing as his own hand rose to rake their face.

A brief struggle ensued, Theezo continuing his failed assault on their diminutive looks while the assailant tried to choke the life out of him. His hand slipped into the Beamer handle as he ripped the coat upward and fired it into their chest.

Their face screwed up in obvious discomfort as their grip loosened. He pushed his back against the wall and threw his legs forward, the effort taking the remaining bits of energy out of him as his enemy folded onto the ground clutching their chest and gut while groaning.

He hacked and gagged, hand still caught in the coat pocket and leaving him awkwardly propped against the ground as they griped at him.

"Serves you - cough - right you fethin git. Hack-cough Get what you lot give. Hope you like soup because you either live off it, or that's - cough - what your insides are now." Theezo snapped back before slowly pushing himself upright. His head was pounding, his breath slowly coming back from the overly tight collar feeling as he turned in a near drunk state and tried to kick his assailant in the side.

Instead clipping their hip and doubling them over while they yowled. He lost interest quickly, picking up the pistol and turning his attention inside, hearing some groaning before heading for a backroom and ignoring those on the floor still alive.

Damian would watch as the operative who'd moved with them in question would peak around the corner and reach out with an open hand. With a crash of bricks and a cloud of dust the E-Web would be almost thrown through the window it was shooting out of. The voice in his head was rolling its eyes at the move as it spoke to Damian.

Aw, seems she only wished to destroy their equipment. I almost wish she'd taken the gunner with it.

Can you stop? For five minutes?

Nah, besides you don't seem to have a little devil on your shoulder anyways so you need me.

That's not necessary.

Oh but it is.

Damian would subconsciously shake his head slightly at the comment and raise his rifle as he prepped to cross. A fist would go into the air as he signed for the team to fall on him, and then after two seconds of waiting, he bounded across. The rest of the team would move quickly as they sprinted across the open street, moving two at a time to make sure that they would present a smaller target. When they stacked up on the wall, they would hear the fighting inside die down, meaning that someone was winning. And they couldn't take chances on who that might be. Damian would slam his fist twice on the wall as he and the other Ultra pulled security, the trooper in question pulling out a breaching charge for the wall. He unfolded the charge, sticking it to the wall as he prepped for the detonation, finishing by pulling the center safety pin before saying a single word.

"Clear!"

Damian and the other Ultra would immediately stand and move forward to find some brief cover in the several seconds that had passed. They flowed like water, Damian pulling out a detonator and with a simple nod from the other Ultra across from him he pushed the button. Breaching charges didn't pack all that impressive of explosions, at least, proper ones didn't. It was how the charges used the blast that set them apart, and this one used the explosive force like a cutting blade to blast a door sized hole in the wall. Damian and the other Ultras would immediately storm in, rifles raised as they cleared the first room. They could hear blaster fire and what sounded like a slug thrower shooting rounds back further in, and they wasted no time moving. He assumed that he didn't have to tell the other lady that if she needed or wanted to she could break off and come at this from another angle. Operative types usually had an ulterior motive for being present in the first place. Damian had to be careful. If she found out...

Oh you mean about us? About the thing that you're hiding from them?

Will you quite bringing it up?

Why does it make you nervous?

It annoys me.

Ohhhh.... so it does? Worried what they'll do when they find out you lied? Hehehehehe, I wonder if she even remembers....

Damian was interrupted from his trance by a blaster bolt ringing down the hallway they were advancing. There were multiple tangos in the room, alive and quite armed as they fired into the hallway to pin the team. The Ultras took cover in doorways, peeking out to return fire as they sized up the situation. They had to be close to the leadership, the really important people as this was close to the center of the compound. A flashbang might work, but Damian only had a few left. He set his weapon to stun as he peeked around the corner and fired a few more rounds. They were getting very close now.

The two pods made landfall as the Sikkol and Aani exited and quickly grabbed their weapons. The soft click of an internal button had the majority of the pod seeming to melt as all that remained was the frame protruding from the ground.

The two made haste for the crash site as Sikkol led the way. The Helljumper Dropship circled slowly, lazily in the atmosphere as it kept low and loitered to get the Empire's position in the field while those on the ground accessed the situation. Aani kept a careful eye to the crest of the ridge through her scope while Sikkol found himself scrambling up what was once a bridge and into sight of Anashja Tal Anashja Tal much to his surprise.

<"You have a good alibi, vod?"> He bothered asking in mando before scooting down the way to begin administering medical aid and getting a triage report on who to pack up first.

<"Helljumper can take the worst of them. Can get up to the window to load them up."> He informed her without really asking. They were on a time crunch after all. And less bodies to slow down the more able was a blessing in any book.

Kessia immediately received the notification from MANIAC when Hauler flew into the area and then @ QEMD-15 Echo arrived. Though it came down farther; the impact could be heard. The streets were quiet now, no one was in this part of town except the terrorists and soldiers. A cat-and-mouse game that the other side couldn’t win. Even if they get out of this area, they will never be able to leave the surface of the planet. They were trapped; and Kessia loved such situations.

Moments later, Ivixa also sent a message; interesting. Chameleon also immediately received the data that MANIAC projected onto her retinas a moment or two after the E-web crashed to the ground. The perfect example of why amnesty was nonsense. Although these reckless actions benefited the Empire; the majority blended the rebels with terrorists.

<< Copy that Seven! >> she answered.

The wildcard was interesting; how did he get there for the others? It wasn’t really that important, the point was to capture everyone and send them or bring them to court. And the team set off and apparently chose the front side. So that’s why Kessia had an idea.

<< I'm going to the back entrance so they can't escape to it! >> she said.

So she detached herself from the others and hurriedly bypassed the building, which meant she ran as fast as she could. The woman heard the shots from inside, as well as what happened when Damian and Ivixa arrived at the building. A few seconds later, Kessia arrived at the back entrance. For safety, she took the two firearms in her hands here and then entered the building.

~ This is where the fun begins! ~ she thought.

Trudging in further, he could hear the sounds of battle inside the building. His tongue clicked nervously as he pondered moving towards it but didn't want to have to explain why he was here.

Concerned citizen?

Not with his slugthrower.

He slowed his step, passing through a hallway of doors before sparing a glance inside a room and finding a storage area. He would have moved further in had an ill feeling not crawled up his achilles and into his lower spine. Dread? Impending doom?

Deciding he didn't exactly have time to discern the finer details he risked everything on a spur of the moment idea. Swiping a pair of rimmed safety glasses he placed them on his face before sliding the Duster off and his belt with it. He loathed letting it go but desperate times demanded.

He pulled on his collar, mentalling groaning at the sound of fabric resisting as it suddenly felt more loose around his throat. Wrapping the the into the Duster he stashed it inside a desk drawer before viciously rubbing rubbing wrists together and making them appear raw. Grabbing what looked like tabbed plastic ties, he strode over to the standing lockers and found one ajar thankfully.

"All or nothing Theezo." He puffed out a breath and looped the zip tie before closing the locker on himself and tightening the tie around his hands. The dark of the locker didn't sit well with him surprisingly suddenly regretting even coming this direction or dealing with these idiots.

Taking a second to prepare, he bashed his face against the locker side, feeling the glasses dig and maybe even cut his brow as he heard something crack. The tight fit of the locker and the dark aided in the overwhelming feeling as he tried kicking his feet against the door.

His voice jumped into a squeaking tone, somewhat grating even to his own ears as he shouted.

"H-hey! Is...is anyone there!? Hey! HHHEEEEEEYYYYYY! Can anyone hear me!? I'm trapped in here!" He did his best at mimicking some whiny sounding underling.
