PRODUCTION INFORMATION

TECHNICAL SPECIFICATIONS
  • Classification: Throwing Knife/Utility Knife
  • Size: Small
  • Weight: Light
SPECIAL FEATURES
  • Balanced to be thrown.
  • Sharp
Strengths:
  • Balanced Blade: With the use of a slightly thicker blade, as well as a lighter grip, And balanced in its center of gravity to be near "perfect center," it allows the blade to be thrown from the hand with ease.
  • Utility: As a simple knife that anyone can own, it is made durable enough to be used in a bug out bag, or otherwise kept for small cuts of rope or whatever else.
Weaknesses:
  • Combat?: As a utility knife that can be thrown, it is small in size and light in weight to allow easier throwing, but thus means it lacks the ability to really do any damage to armor, or be used in combat against other weapons. If it was your last resort, then sure go ahead. Otherwise, use something else.
  • Band-aids anyone?: Yes, the blade is balanced for the hand, and can be used to throw. However, to correctly throw a knife without cutting up your own hand, or actually piercing the blade into the target, or using the grip to hit a helmet as a distraction, takes quite a bit of hand-to-eye coordination. Just because the blade is easier to use as a throw-able weapon, does not make the average joe a Ninja assassin.
  • Utility: As the knife is mainly built as a pocket knife, it can be used in many situations. However, the blade is only as viable as the owner takes care of the tool. If you don't sharpen it, then it won't be sharp. It has no special edge, or ability to always stay sharp.
DESCRIPTION
Almost every child in the history of the Galaxy, has been interested in the fabled Ninjas and Assassins of old. Taking their parent's knife, or even a stick and attempting to throw it like a Kunai at a wood board, cardboard, paper, or whatever was closest to them. Yelling out with the shriek of "Hyiah!"

As a child, one didn't understand that they couldn't hit the target without practice and dedication to the art. Even more so, with something that was not really meant to be thrown. Weapons such as throwing stars, and Kunai are balanced and built to be thrown into their target by flipping end over end. Either piercing into flesh, or having the grip smacking into the foe as a distraction, or a blunt object to avoid killing a person.

Yusanic Ironworks has come forth with their interpretation of such a weapon. A light but versatile utility knife that anyone can own, but also can be sold by the crates to those willing to pay, to use as throwing weapons, just like the Ninja's of old.
