STRENGTHS
  • Jack of All trades: Designed vastly different then the original runabout. It has systems meant to protect it and allow it to defend itself while sacrificing speed and the ability to move around.
  • Exotic Matter: The ethereal nature of the metal makes it near weightless despite being and looking dense within the pocket dimension of dream. In realspace it can be grasped and there is a steady supply able to be used by Krass. When experimenting with the extent the design that has been refitted.
  • Advanced Systems: Designed with several notable systems installed on the shipsto improve their capabilities and turn the jedi into a needed operational fighter.
    • Saotome Advanced Tracking System: Designed to give hyperspace tracking capabilities to the ships systems.
    • Advanced Whammy Drive: Whammy Drives create an interdicition pulse that can trip the safeties of ships hyperdrives stalling them. They can't keep a fleet from jumping but for a moment those within range of the pulse can be stalled.
    • Saotome Car'das: Designed for micro jumps with high levels of precision and capabilities.
    • Cater Phalanx: Designed to strengthen the shielding of a squadron. A small team can bunch together and project a shield over themselves for additional protection.
    • Self Repairing: Designed like a Quellian ship the vessels hull is able to repair itself over time.
    • Advanced Hyperdrive: Designed with one of the fastest hyperdrives in the galaxy over developing itself to have speeds unmatched.
    • Materia: Designed with the impressive materia for the ship allowing it to shift around and change the designs as needed.
WEAKNESSES
  • Biological Weapons: THe biological droids sections are largely vulnerable to biological attacks like baffor pollen, flesh eating parasites and even with enough intoxication which will make the biological parts of it sluggish or even atrophy.
  • Neural Net: THe neural net of the academy allows connecting and automating a number of systemsbut for a skilled hacker who can get itno the biocomputers can hack it and cause havoc.
  • Protective Qualities: Largely non protective in qualities as it doesn't fully adhere to the rules of physics. The metal looks dense and like it would be highly protective but it isn't.
  • Exotic Particles: Largely unknown and not seen in the galaxy before. It isn't invincible nor is it really strong but it reacts violently near dark and anti-matter which can disrupt and destroy it or even cause it to rupture and disintegrate.
DESCRIPTION
After the large scale use of the original runabout showed it was effective enough. Sasori worked with its engineers to redesign it and largely improve upon it. The new design keeps the same sized shuttle but they have streamlined it and changed the interior modules. With everything that they have been able to fit into it the interior space is small and it isn't going to be making massive speeds to outrun some ships but for being able to leave a ship and get to other systems through hyperspace it has gained a large improvement. The living module allows for extended use and the weapon systems while strong are forward facing making it have targeting blind spots.

The modules within though allow it to function on most worlds and protect the pilots or team that are using it. The years have been kind to Sasori and their continued developments have allowed much to be upgraded and improved with new materials and upgrading it for more advanced systems. WIth a better hyperdrive and fabricators. It serves as a basis for what will lead into the next generation model runabouts. THe continued years of service has seen the Runabout altered and changed up. THe interior working with the biot design of their vessels allowing it to have biological circuits and components. So the shuttle can think and operate with its occupants.

The biot design doesn't let it function like a normal droid but makes it slightly harder to slice into as interfacing outside of the biocomputers is harder but not impossible. The inclusion of better and improved weapons, sleeker hyperdrive and engines. Makes the shuttle a smaller craft in itself that is able to protect while it is flying.
