STRENGTHS
  • Exotic Matter: The ethereal nature of the metal makes it near weightless despite being and looking dense within the pocket dimension of dream. In realspace it can be grasped and there is a steady supply able to be used by Krass. When experimenting with the extent the design that has been refitted.
  • Choushin Class Uneti: The heart of the ship and a gift from the commonwealth for the jedi in their forging. Krass has one of the younger generation trees installed allowing the jedi to contact without communications other choushin class ships.
  • Seven Points: Throughout the ship, the amnioid fluid flows like a bloodstream throughout it which is duel edged. It it like a circulatory system that keeps the techno-organic systems of the ship flowing and feeds into the seedlings that are being grown for children ships. It shares a mitochondrial cell connecting the ships to the mother and are organelles that will take in nutrients then break them down and create energy rich molecules for the ship. The seven main points are points that can be accessed to connects with the ship so it is always running smoothly.
  • Bonding: The trees are finicky and require a jedi to bond with them locking out others. The duel nature of the starfighters sees them using a dwarfed tree intentionally small and within the control systems. The pilot bonds with it as the ship interior is grown.
  • Duel structure: Designed two fold, the first is the exterior exoskeleton that gives the appearance of a standard starfighter. The interior itself usually measuring in the module of the ship itself is techno-organic with the tree. Encased in the framework and superstructure of the exoskeleton for protection.
  • Advanced Systems: Designed with several notable systems installed on the shipsto improve their capabilities and turn the jedi into a needed operational fighter.
    • Saotome Advanced Tracking System: Designed to give hyperspace tracking capabilities to the ships systems.
    • Advanced Whammy Drive: Whammy Drives create an interdicition pulse that can trip the safeties of ships hyperdrives stalling them. They can't keep a fleet from jumping but for a moment those within range of the pulse can be stalled.
    • Saotome Car'das: Designed for micro jumps with high levels of precision and capabilities.
    • Cater Phalanx: Designed to strengthen the shielding of a squadron. A small team can bunch together and project a shield over themselves for additional protection.
    • Kyberite: At the heart of the jedi fighter giving it a mini lightside nexus and aura that enhances the jedi ewithin and creates a small bubble making darkside influnece over the ships harder.
    • Laminanium: Designed like a Quellian ship the hull of the orbital platforms has a thin layer of the material to improve repairs and over time depending on the amount of damage it is able to patch itself up.
    • Advanced Hyperdrive: Designed with an experimental hyperdrive that is meant to give them some of the fastest flight times across all of the galaxy.
    • Saotome Rhion: For the more limited production ships, the Rhion can upgrade and repair a ship by grabbing materials and breaking them down.
    • Saotome Maas Upgrade: Designed to mask a ship entering and exiting hyperspace by masking the radiation that is released.
    • Advanced Stealth Polymer: Advanced fallenassi cloaking for the ship that immerses the ship in the white current.
    • Saotome Stealth Package: Advanced collection of stealth systems to mask the ship from sensors.
    • TibannaX Propolsion: Stealthy solution for engines.
    • Hanger: Designed to hold fighters using modular racks and a gravity lattice. The improved space management leaves very little extra space but it allows the carrier to hold
  • Lightside Aura: The choushin design is meant to make sure this is a lightside vessel. it radiates the lightside of the force to repel darksiders from entering and most who touch the darkside feel sick when inside of the ship. When on the ground it makes a bubble of force energy with the light about ten meters. The kyber crystal heart of the ship lets it emanate the force.
WEAKNESSES
  • Agena: Designed with the Agena to radiate the lightside of the force so that the academy is a beacon of the lightside to any and all force users.
  • Neural Net: THe neurral net of the academy allows connecting and automating a number of systemsbut for a skilled hacker who can get itno the biocomputers can hack it and cause havoc.
  • Sleg Reactors: Built with a massive series of sleg reactors, the power increase to allow the station to be mobile if even slowly can cause massive build up of energy that can cause the engines to explode.
  • Protective Qualities: Largely non protective in qualities as it doesn't fully adhere to the rules of physics. The metal looks dense and like it would be highly protective but it isn't.
  • Exotic Particles: Largely unknown and not seen in the galaxy before. It isn't invincible nor is it really strong but it reacts violently near dark and anti-matter which can disrupt and destroy it or even cause it to rupture and disintegrate.
  • Force Nullification: Composed of solidified energy from a pocket dimension. Within a force nullification field it becomes heavy. The molecular structure is super dense but able to skirt and not adhere to physics like gravity normally. Without the force to preform this it becomes almost impossibly heavy to lift.
  • Kyber crystals: Using the design of the finalizer and enhancing the power of the weapons with crystals gives the ships a secondary effect as the crystals used for weapons can be explosive if cracked.
  • Sleg: A powerful energy enhancer, the sleg absorbs and channels the excessive heat generated by the chassis of the speeder. Making them maintain a stronger level of power but also increases the chances that they could explode from the heat.
  • Hive Minded: A benefit in some ways allowing the ships to heal each others internal systems itself but it also means that they share pain. A strange effect is choushin ships can refuse to attack each other.
  • Organic: With the amnioid a skilled force user is able to properly stun and stop the functions in their tracks. As Satele Shan showed the fluid produced by the circuits can be manipulated and used to calm or disable the bodies for a time as long as there is concentration and knowledge of the fluid. Like a blood flow in the body it can be constricted and have build up of waste or gunk that damages the ship like a heart attack or even stroke.
  • Shared Pain: A danger and something felt from the onset and creation of them. The choushin share pain which can affect all of the ships from starfighters to capital ships.
  • Radiates the Lightside of the force like a beacon alerting others to its location.
  • Force Nullification: The ship is seeped in the lightside of the force and such it does not function well when the force is nullified. The choushin itself can be damaged or even die without the force over an extended period of time.
  • Orissa: Designed with the Orissa that is a solid plate covered in drop pods reducing underside defenses and cannon.
DESCRIPTION
Designed by Saotome as a new model of pocket carrier, with the technologies that they had developed for increasing capacity without having to make things larger. The increased mass and using the pocket carrier that Domino showed them. A secondary hull that is used to conceal additional fighters and create an extended hanger entrance. The secondary part of it was to try and test out their systems, the newest ones developed such as the whammy drive, their specialized frame and viewports, internal security systems to protect the ship from being boarded. The pocket carrier is made initially to swarm and more or less overwhelm with numbers as it can be fully loaded up into the hangers allowing it to go over what most would try for to get that small advantage and surprise other larger ships.

With the reworking of the ship and its systems the overhaul removed the outer shell and instead optimized the hanger space.. more advanced weapons, shielding and systems robust for stealth encounters were added and in many ways the ship was designed to be a bunch of guns strapped to an engine. Sala'dine's influence in the design had Anaara when she was overhauling it in the systems develop it as one of the better smaller sized carriers but they would not be able to fully maximize the potential as the capabilities of it moving around would drop and it would become more specific in its use.

Am I understanding this right in that the modular rack pushes the squadron count to 9 squadrons, and the use of the Gravity lattice increases it to 12 squadrons?

I think this would increase the ship's durability above average, unless there's something else going on to counteract this (like a weak hull or weak deflector shields). Alternatively, I could see this being available on this ship if has some drawback to using it (like drawing power from a different system).

that was the hope however if mass production can't have extreme then those numbers will need to be changed. the rack is meant to store more and the lattice when going into a combat scenario pack as much in as can be held. The ultimate goal was go make for combat fleeting an overstuffed ship that could swarm but it sacrifices most other things like defense, armament, speed and maneuverability. If extreme can't be the standard then would with the lattice activated and a combat scenario be allowed?

and the ship uses the design of a double hull, with the second being a shell that can be detached to release additional fighters like on the karaktar. It has several meters of empty space between a sheet of hull and the other sheet which is weaker from the modular tubing (that decreases hull thickness as a drawback)

We basically have two options:

1) Keep Extreme Rating and lower production
2) Keep mass production and lower hangar rating

Which one you choose is up to you. Ultimately, I cannot have the gravity lattice or modular rack increase the squadron count beyond what is normally allowed by the ratings. So you have the gravity lattice, modular rack, and the unusual hull designs as in-character rationalization for a large number of starfighters, but it cannot exceed the squadron count typical for that ship's hangar count rating, if that makes sense.

The rating and the weakness here don't seem to match to me.

I think that this would also increase the defense rating of this ship beyond average.

As a personal recommendation, since the hangar count has been lowered to "Very High", I would increase Defense Rating to "Moderate" and remove the "Light Defense" weakness.

With the edited defense rating, if you'll remove the reference to low defense here.
